Okay, so school began rather uneventfully. Old friends met up and new people met each other, etc. A few classes went by with a few interruptions/disturbances here and there, but nothing too significant until break. Ryell is really interested in Valentine, but Valentine likes Calvin. Ryell sees Valentine and Calvin together and gets upset, to Valentine chases Ryell down to figure out what's wrong and try to defuse the situation. Ryell admits how he feels and Valentine tries to figure out how to deal with the situation. As this is going on, Hiro, who is new to the school and is watching things from the roof, trying to learn about the place, falls to the ground and meets Valentine, Ryell, and Edward. After this, Ryell and Valentine go to their next class, where they are disciplined and sent to the principal's office, although they decide to take a walk through the halls together instead.
Hiro walks awkwardly away from the boys he just met and runs into Vincent, hurting himself again. Calvin comes along, finds him, and takes him to the nurses room to help him out. Calvin leaves, telling Hiro to stay there, but Hiro thinks he's fine so he goes outside again, climbs a tree, finds a cat, which he names Pun, and meets Castor. Vincent also sees Castor, so he meets up with Hiro (again) when he investigates the sleeping boy with the bear (Castor carries a stuffed bear called Pollux around with him everywhere. Castor speaks to the bear and is the only one who can hear Pollux's replies).
Mesame arrives, finally, and is taken into the school for a tour by one of the principal's aides. The aide decides that Mesame can fend for himself, since it's break time and there would be plenty of kids to meet, so Mesame leaves, walks to the door outside, and sees Hiro, Vincent, and Castor talking. Hiro and Castor decide to go into the school, and Mesame tries to goad Hiro into a fight by teasing Castor about Pollux, but Hiro doesn't take the bait. Mesame follows the two of them at a distance thinking he'll either find some new place to hang out or frustrate Hiro enough to initiate a fight.
In the meantime, Vincent, who fell asleep as Hiro and Castor were talking, wakes up alone and walks over to the school gate where he meets Kuro. Vincent and Kuro smoke and talk for a bit, then part ways on good terms.
As Mesame is walking through the halls, Cross walks out of a door in front of him and they run into each other. Mesame is his usual rude, arrogant self, although he realizes that Cross is bigger and stronger and would be the clear winner in a fight. Cross is level-headed, though, and treats Mesame well. As they're talking, someone starts shooting into the building, and Cross pushes Mesame to the ground, landing on top of him. They both get some injuries and go to the nurses station where the nurse, Shizu Umi, helps them out. A woman named Daliah Layla pokes her head in to investigate what's been going on. She's one of the school aides and is trying to find out the extent of the injuries. It turns out one student was killed (Ed, unless his RP-er returns) but other than that Mesame and Cross's wounds are the worst injuries. After they're treated, Cross and Mesame leave the nurse's station separately. As Mesame leaves the nurse's office, he calls his father, who says that the chauffeur will be waiting for him outside where he had been dropped off just a short time earlier.
Hiro and Castor hear the gunshots and decide to leave the school, which is being evacuated, and go to Hiro's house. Hiro's adoptive parents (his real parents died in a car crash) throw a major fit about Castor's presence and say very nasty things. They are currently chilling out somewhat awkwardly in Hiro's room.
Miss Layla and the Principal seem to be secretly planning something involving the Black Dragon and White Tiger gangs, although it's not clear what. So far none of the characters know about the others possible connections to gangs, although Cross and Kuro are both high ranking leaders of the Black Dragon clan.
Vincent is sitting in a tree when the shooting occurs. The shots startled him and he fell onto the ground, where he was found by Kuro, who took him to the now strangely empty nurse's station and tends to him. Kuro realizes that the shooting was an attempt to kill Cross by the White Tigers, and soon receives a mysterious phone call that likely is in response to the shooting.
And that, I think, just about covers it. The character descriptions are all here, so check them out for more details on character back story. If you have any questions, ask and we should be able to answer them (or we'll try, at least). Also, if I got anything wrong, guys, please correct me, since I was rushing to get this done, since I'm tired and should be getting to sleep.
