Hiro ran out of his house, with guards after him. Why couldn't he just go where he wanted sometimes and do what he wants? His parents had often told him after he became 13, that he was just like a bird trapped in a cage. He was just a decoration to help his so called parents earn some money. It was early in the morning and Hiro was suppose to go to school. Hiro would gladly go to school though it was an annoyance, but his ex-parents had told him to get there early and help the teachers or something like that. Why should he go help the teachers or whatever. Hiro still had his school bag on him and ran towards his favorite and secret spot in the town. He arrived at a small clearing with grass and it looked as if the place was glittering. Hiro sat down on the grass and looked up at the sky. If only he could be as free as a bird. After a while, he checked the time. School was about to start. He knew if he was late, his parents would literally kill him so he ran to school with no emotion on his face. Rarely does he ever show emotion. Most people never even saw him smiling. Hiro arrived at school and went in his classroom to sit down at the back corner near the window and looked outside.

There was a gentle breeze that brought the scent of blooming flowers up to Valentine's nose. He breathed in and exhaled, his left leg folded up on the branch he was lying on, his right one swinging at the side. His arms were folded up behind his head, leaning against the tree trunk. If he were a cat, his tail would have been twitching happily under him.
The clear azure sky let the bright, warm sun hit him full on, which really wasn't a bother. Sun was always good. Val's eyelids drooped slightly, and he might have fallen asleep right there, a couple of metres above the ground if not for a boy's sudden appearance.
Valentine, or Cat Man as some friends ended up calling him, swung his right leg onto the tree and perched on his branch, eyeing the newcomer. Damn, I knew this spot would be taken. he thought to himself, sighing.
"Hey th–" he started, but the boy started running. "...there." Val finished, quickly jumping from branch to branch and hitting the ground. He bolted after the new guy, trying to catch up. He was surprised to see him enter the same school as him, and ran after him. He was just about to catch up with the unknown boy, but he skidded to a halt in the hall as the stranger walked into a class room.
Dammit, I'll catch him after role call... Val muttered, walking towards his own class and daydreaming about Calvin. He couldn't help it if the boy popped into his head a lot.

Ryell was sitting on his bed. He hadn't been able to sleep as usual. He was beggining to think he had insomnia. In his hands was his Violin, and curled up by his feet was his cat. His baggy hat *As pictured* started to droop over his eyes as his head tilted forward. His eyes did the same, but his mind was racing with thoughts. School, food for his cat, Valentine... Ryell shook his head, disturbing the silence as his hat fell to the floor. His cats eyes opened and she stretched, then yawned and stood up, mewing. Ryell smiled at her as she padded towards the open door, then looked up ay him for assurance. Ryell arose after placing the violin back in it's case and made his way towards the kitchen. He got a pouch of kitten food out of his coupboard and poured it out, along with some water and then grabbed his bag and a comb, looking in the large mirror nailed to the wall he combed the blonde hair, not in any particular style, it usually fell the same way when he placed his hat on.

Ryell quickly grabbed his violin case after he closed it then ran out of the house, slamming the door. He stayed stood infront of his door and watched the neibourhood. He sighed as he made his way towards the school, taking the usual route, past Valentine's spot. He looked around to the tree, but was dissapointed to see it occupied by someone else, and sighed, running to the school, realising he would be late. As he got there he opened the door to his classroom, to see that rollcall had already started. "Overslept like the others, Mr. Kagimine? I thought you could do better than that" Ryell froze as he felt everyone's eyes upon him, and shook his head. "Didn't sleep" He muttered, then took his seat, putting his violin case and bag next to his seat, taking out his sketch book and pencils, lowering his head and placing the pencil to the page, his hand moving so a picture was drawn.

Moments after the class head had started roll call, the door swung open and in came Ryell, little dark circles under his eyes. Valentine smiled at him and patted the empty seat beside him, sign for him to sit down. Ryell might need to start getting his act together. This was a few times he had claimed to have a sleepless night.
Val faintly raised his hand and called 'here' when his name was called for roll, returning to gazing out the window straight after. He shuffled his chair towards a sunny spot on the ground, attempting to catch some of the warmth. He really was like a cat.
Crossing his arms and resting his head in them, his orange and red goggles that he used as a headband fell onto his eyes. Rolling his eyes, Val pulled them back up and resumed his former lazing position.
The teacher went on about boring and obscure staff meetings that didn't even concern them, before saying they could talk amongst themselves for the last few minutes before the bell rang.
"So, how's the Queen of the Underworld?" he grinned, turning to Ryell and smiling. It was his nickname for Ryell's cat Persephone.

Vincent sat up in his bed and then looked around and rubbed his eyes. He looked at the clock and saw that he was late and he sighed and then got out of bed, wearing only a pair of dark green boxers.

He walked over to the bathroom and took a shower and then got out and dried off. He got dressed and then went down the stairs and grabbed some breakfast. He walked out of his house with a small backpack on his back and a tired look on his face.

He hummed an unknown german song and then walked to the school gate and then sighed. "Annoying.." He mumbled and his german accent was hidden. He walked into the school and then walked into his classroom. He heard the teacher scolding him and he rolled his eyes and yawned.

He ran a hand through his green hair and then sat down in a chair and put his backpack under his arms and rested his chin on his arms. He fell asleep and was woken up when the teacher slammed a book onto his head.

He jumped up and swore in german and then glared at the teacher. The teacher yet again scolded him and then he told the teacher to shut the hell up in German. The teacher did not know what he said and then shrugged and continued to talk about something. The students talked and he looked around and then fell back asleep.

Ryell lay his head on his pad and turned to look at Valentine, smiling. He was the only one he enjoyed talking to, he was so bright and caring, it made him fuzzy inside. "She's O.K, but getting lazier by the day" He said quietly, then sighed. "It's a shame, I remember when I first got her, she was always jumping on my face to wake me up for food, now she just lazes around and basically points to her mouth". Ryell nodded to his answer, then let his eyelids rest. He started to mutter things under his breath, so quietly. He was good at quiet. "So tired, but sleep escapes me, doesn't come, too much on my mind, too much to deal with". Ryell raised his head, his eyelids hanging halfway shut. "Can you get medication for insomnia?" He asked, then shook his head and let his head bash against his desk.

Valentine smiled and rolled his eyes. "Cats do that. They're hyper little buggers at first and then they're just a furry ornament you must feed." he laughed. "I'll probably end up like that myself, minus the fur."
There was some strange yelling from a class room next to theirs. Must be the German kid again. Vincent, that was his name.
"Cure for insomnia, eh?" he grinned. "Maybe drink less coffee? Or you could... Oi, don't fall asleep in class!" he laughed, taking Ryell's hand and shaking it like a rag doll's. "You need a remedy for this, seriously."

Ryell nodded, and shivered at Valentines touch. "Don't talk to your elders like that" He said quietly, cheekily, grinning. He sat up and put his pad and pencils back in his bag, then looked at Valentine. "I don't drink coffee, it makes me feel sick unless thiers half a bag of sugar in it, and that makes me sick because all the sugar gathers to the bottem and makes a too sweet syrup" He explained and looked at the time. "Shouldn't we be on our way to math?" He asked, his head cocking to the side, eyes wide, questioning. He shrugged and lay his head back down on the desk, watching Valentine in an almost Stalky way. He had come close to it before, the "Watching thorugh window as you sleep" type of stalky. His eyes where once again tired and thoughts rushed through his mind.

Calvin heard the voice saying to him: "Hey Cal! I'ts time to go to math! C'mon lazy boy!"
"Huh? Oh, what do you want Mike?" Calvin always was asleep in the first class, Mike his best friend, was the one in charge of waking Calvin up.
"C'mon buddy, your next class is math. Mine is science" Mike shook Cal's shoulder
"I'm awake! I'm awake! *Sighs* I hate having Math on Mondays and in the morning"
Preparing his stuff for leaving the classroom, he turnend to Mike and raising his hand shout "See ya later buddy!!"
Leaving the classroom, he headed to math. Infront of him, the other students were leaving the classrooms, too.
He was walking to his next class, when he heard someone had shouted his name.
"CAL!!"

Hiro got up from his seat and took his things. The next class was next and it seemed to be math. The two people who were talking seemed to be in math too. Hiro turned around away from them and walked towards the door. Before he could, the teacher stopped him with her hand on his shoulder and said, "Good job today. Make sure to study even though you are already smart enough." Hiro rolled his eyes inside and politely excused himself with a curt nod. If he didn't act polite, the teacher would probably tell his ex-parents and they would start yelling at him as well as maybe even hit him. Hiro quietly walked out the door and began walking towards his next class. He didn't really have any friends, and no one was brave enough to be his friend. He had trained in martial arts, kung fu, as well as judo.

"Why yes, sir, how could I ever talk to my elders in such a manner." he grinned sarcastically, bending over in a mock bow.
Val smiled at Ryell and looked at the ceiling, thinking. "Maths? Uhhh... Yeah, I think we have that now."
Looking back down at his friend, he raised an eyebrow and laughed. "Stop looking at me like that, you look like a stalker! Anyway, you're right, we should get to class." he added, linking arms with Ryell and dragging him out the door.
Spotting the boy he had seen in the grass sitting in the maths class, he smiled and started walking towards the seat next to him. Wait, I wanna sit next to Calvin... he moaned to himself. Glancing around the room and establishing that Cal was not there, he sighed and sat beside the Grass Boy.
"Hi, I'm Valentine." he beamed, putting his bag down and motioning for Ryell to sit on his other side.

Vincent heard the bell ring and the teacher scolded him again about falling asleep. He told the teacher to fuck off in German and then walked to his next class which was Math. He yawned and then walked into the classroom and saw a few people he knew.

He sat down in the back of the class and rested his chin on his arms and looked around the classroom. "Boring..class.." He mumbled and his German accent was very noticable. He sat up and streched and his joints cracked and then he rested his chin on his palm and then looked around the classroom. "Bored.."

He mumbled again and then pulled out a manga and started to read it. He got hit in the back of the head by the teacher and he jumped up and swore really loud in German. The teacher scolded him and then went back to blubbering on and Vincent got bored and started to read his manga again.

Ryell grinned and nodded. When they got to the maths class Ryell saw a few people he didnt know, and his eyes widened. He suddenly became quiet as he sat down and started his work, even though the teacher wasn't there yet. He took of his hat and ruffled his hand through his hair, then pulled a streak down infront of his eyes. "I need to dye my hair again, I don't like the natural colour, too light" He thought, then put his cap in his bag and carried on with his work. He liked algebra, he thought it was fun how people thought it was opk to replace numbers with letters, although it was extremely pointless. He kept his face close to the page, not because he couldn't see, just a force of habit. His hair fell onto his page, but he didn't mind, he was used to it. He bit on the end of his pen as his mind worked out the equations, and then wrote down the answers. Looking up, he saw that the teacher was writing things on the board, and decided to listen to what he was about to talk about.

Valentine scribbled down a few notes on algebra, though it was really unnecessary. He wasn't a maths prodigy or anything, but algebra was really simple once you got the hang of it.
He frowned when his goggles fell again as he looked down at his copy. "Mr Delaney, will you please stop wearing that ridiculous hairband?" the teacher remarked, irritated.
Val put his hands on the goggles and held them dramatically. "Sir, if this is a hairband, why are girls in schools allowed to wear them but not I?"
"Because you're not a girl, fool." the professor sighed. "Unless you have a crush on Mr Kagamine or something, I'm pretty sure you're a boy."
Val rolled his eyes and pulled the goggles off in defeat. "Damn, he's good..." he muttered.
"Watch it, Valentine." the maths teacher added. "Any more cheek like that and it's a detention. Now, as I was saying, if x = -4 then..." he droned on.
Sighing and looking at his book again, Val glanced over to see what Ryell's reaction to the comment was.

When the proffesor talked about Valentine having a crush on Ryell, he blushed a bright red, then leant closer to the page. He glanced at Valentine momenterally, and felt his face get more hot. He concentrated on his work, trying not to look or think about Valentine. He put down his pencil and sat up after fineshing his work, looking straight. The teacher raised his eyebrows when seeing Ryell wasn't working and walked up towards him.
"What's wrong with you boy, scared to do a little work once in a while?" The teacher ordered and Ryell shook his head.
"I fineshed" He replied, and looked down at his work, then nodded, comforming it. The teacher shook his head.
"Fine, do whatever you do when your not talking" He said and Ryell nodded, then got out his pad and started to draw.

There was silence for a while, the only sound in the class to be heard being pens scratching the paper. After some time, Valentine looked up at Ryell,
"Um... Y-you know he was joking, right?" he muttered, blushing. Val did not want Ryell – or anyone, for that matter – to know he liked boys too. Calvin may have caught on at this point, but he probably hadn't told anyone if he did.
"We're cool...?" he added quietly, looking up slightly, his goggles now hanging loosely around his neck as quirky neckwear.

Ryell looked up at him and the blush came back. "I hope so" He said ever so quietly. Suddenly he was shy around Valentine after what the teacher applied. He looked back at his page, and noticed he was drawing an anime ersion of Valentine. He quickly rubbed out the eyes and made them different, as to not make the appearance so obvious.
Ryell looked at the time, almost next lesson, only about a minute. Next lession was his faveriout, music. He smiled to himself secretly as he put all his things away and picked up his bag and violin case, and stood up. The second before the teacher got to scold Ryell, the bell rung, and Ryell looked at Valintine. "I'm going to get to music early" He said, again quietly, then made his way to music class.
Before Ryell got to music, he stopped at the cafeteria to grab an apple, then ran towards the music room. As he got there he smiled at the teacher as she sorted out the instruments from last week. "Hello proffesor, mind if I practise some music?" He asked. He liked the music teacher, and was very open to her. She smiled. "Sure, a great thing to help me concentrate, some beautiful violin music from a great student" She said and Ryell smiled, then got out his violin, straightened his posture and started to play "Helena" by My Chemical Romance.

Hiro looked over at the boy who just said hi to him. Hiro's eyes looked as if he was sleepy. "Do you need something from me?" Hiro asked. If this so called guy, Valentine, didn't then don't bother to say anything to him. Hiro knew he was just being nice in a way, but in a way it was kind of annoying. Hiro got out a random book and began reading it. Guess there would be some people trying to be friendly with him in this school too. At least it was better than his last school. In his last school, it was mixed, so girls kept on pestering him. It was like hell to him. Hiro sighed and put the book he was reading back into its rightful place. The book was boring and had no point in it. He looked over at the boy who was sitting next to Valentine as he blushed when the teacher made a comment. Hiro raised an eyebrow. Did he like Valentine? I sure came to a weird school, Hiro thought as he began spinning his pencil.

It was now time for the science class.
After someone had shouted his name before, he turned and saw so many people that he didn't knew who was calling him.
"Oh well, he'll forgive me if I don't know from where he calls me".
Soon, he left the hall, and headed to Math, however, someone called him.
"Mr Shou, please come with me to the principal office" It was the Principal assistant.
"But, Miss, what have I done?" Cal asked the Assistant.
"Nothing important, the Principal want to talk to you, Mr Shou"
"Mmm 'k" he passed the maths classroom, arriving to the principal office.
"Good morning, Mr Shou. Have a seat." The principal recieve Calvin with a smile, and show him the chair infront of him.
Calvin just looked at the chair making a sound of *Gulp*

Cal was heading to his classroom, when he met a boy of his own age, a little childish and hyper, the one he was thinking in all summer.
