I stood there in the darkness. Scared as ever, I wondered 'what the hell is happening?!' I shifted my way through the darkness aiming the gun I found. I stumbled over an overturned desk, as I regained my balance I could see an outline of a figure near the back of the wall. It stood there not moving, knowing it had its vision fixed on me.
"Hello?" I asked, hearing the nervousness in my voice. It just stood there, finally it inched its way towards me. As it came into view it looked like a skinless tiger with claws.
"Oh damn!" I watched as it lunged towards me. I fell back fixing my aim and shooting 3 bullets. I hit the monster but it still kept moving like I didn't put a scratch on it.
I fired again and again, still stood there moving. This time I fixed my aim, I concentrated on the little aimer at the end of the .45 I fired one more round hitting it square in the face. It dropped to the ground, blood pouring out. I walked over to it, I had no idea what in the hell that thing was? I decided to check the map. I followed my finger through the map and found old stores. I noticed something called 'Achemilla Hospital.
"There's got to be someone there. Maybe I'll find more clues about where Mick is?" I said.
I opened the door to the gas station. The whole town was covered in nothing but darkness. I remembered back in the war. I was told 'Never to be under pressure or scared in any time of predicament' I started to run. Not looking behind me, I didn't want to know if anything was chasing me. Finally I reached the gates of the hospital. I stopped catching my breath, looking around for any more of those creatures. Finally I stepped through the gates and entered the door. I walked in. The gorey layout of the lobby, how strange everything was. I heard something behind me and I quickly spun around watching as the nasty red-stained walls turned back into white clean walls, everything seemed to burn up. I finally found out that it was daytime but still snowy and foggy. I still didn't trust this town. Not even if it was foggy out. Something's out there. Soon I heard an elevator in the distance. I aimed my gun and walking towards it, it seemed as if the elevator stopped on a higher level. I entered it and checked out the buttons of the side wall. I looked around and saw that there was a dirt smudge on the 3rd floor. "Someone has to be on this floors...Hopefully." I said. I heard the elevator grumble as I stood there aiming my gun awaiting the 3rd floor.
