A Single Traitor ((IC)) [Restart] ( )

Postby Diary-chan on Sun Dec 14, 2008 6:27 am

The year is 2057. America, for those who live outside, seems like nothing has changed. But those who live there know better.

In the year 2057, America has changed.
The current President is more like a dictator.
And the American citizens have no privacy.

There is a video camera on every street. In every house. In every room. Everyone's job is decided at birth, along with who they will marry, and how many children they will have. They work 12 hours a day, every day, and do not go to school, instead being taught their job and only their job. So much of a mutter about treason or unhappiness with the government could get you killed. Everyone is rationed food, due to the rising population, because people are not allowed to leave the US.

In a country where people are everything but free, one group stands up against the government, called the Rebellion. They have connections, ways to take out cameras, and ways to meet without being caught. This group is now rising up across America. Nearly every city has a Rebellion group. And a Rebellion leader for each state.

But what happens when the founders, [insert number of people playing here] people who lead the Rebellion, get careless, and get captured? They are all tied up and gagged and blindfolded, thrown into a dark room to wait. Two days later, each of the leaders is interrogated, and given the choice to live and betray the Rebellion, or else. Each of the leaders chooses "or else". But, when they choose this, they don't come back to the room where the others wait. They are each thrown into a separate room. And the only people who know what goes on in those rooms, are the occupants. Cue the shudders.

The last leader, scared out of his/her wits, finally breaks and reveals the secrets of the Rebellion. He/she is set free, if you can call their way of life free. The rest were kept in the rooms for months, until finally being set free, and only then because they had connections. The Rebellion was broken up, and America went back to its life of misery, hopes crushed.

By a single Traitor.

It's been three years since then, and the old leaders of the Rebellion see signs of it rising again. Everything is there. Mysterious dissapearances from work. Absence from home. The leaders either choose to join the new Rebellion or stay in their miserable lives. But what if another Traitor rises? Better yet, no one knows who the traitor is. What if the traitor joins the New Rebellion?

All this is up to you.

OOC here.

"Yeah, yeah, I know..... Walter!! No, I won't......What was I supposed to do? Sit around and watch while--..... I understand that, but.... ugh! This is why I didn't ask you!! " Zee mashed the off button her holophone, not bothering to say goodbye to her father, the Vice President to the madman who was the dictato-- President-- of the US.

Zee fumed. So the old man had finally found out, eh? So what? She and Anna had been in the old Rebellion, and done just fine-- well, okay, not fine, but that wasn't the point. The point was, she was not going to sit around and be miserable while there was a chance to lift the misery from the shoulders of all Americans. Not while they could all be free.

The dark brown bob bounced around Zee's face, her green eyes showing fury behind them. She was wearing the White House uniform-- A navy blue skirt-suit, with a little star pin on the lapel and a white flanel shirt underneath unbuttoned to reveal a modest bust--, along with her usual elbow-long, fingerless black gloves, the ones that always made her seem suspicious, like they were hiding something. Which they were. Zee worked at the White House, learning politics and doing odd chores. But Zee couldn't care less about politics. She just wanted some freedom.

Zee stalked around her room, which served as the commanding headquarters to the New Rebellion. It didn't look like much-- just a room, painted tan-ish with a tan bean bag chair, a striped twin bed, some dark wooden dressers, a nightstand, and a dark wooden desk on top of which stood her desktop.

The desk was the key. Under it was a secret button, which opened communications with the rest of the New Rebellion. And the desktop contained all of their information. Not the safest place, but hey-- what could you do? Zee sat down at the desk and pushed the button, securing a pair of headphones to her ears as the familiar fuzz came and went, and then listened for anyone. She typed in a 64-digit code onto the desktop, and watched as screens appeared on the empty blue background. Scenes of bedrooms, offices, etc. Soon, those screens would be occupied by people involved in the New Rebellion. Including Anna, who was in the next room over.

"Hey, guys," Zee spoke into the mic on her headphones, "We have to talk."
.;A picture's worth a thousand words;.
.;But when those words are worthless;.
.;So is the picture;.

Mona sighed loudly as she roughly unlocked the door to her apartment. The door swung open heavily and hit the wall of the hallway to the right. She looked down the hall, all the lights were off but that could mean anything. She walked in and calmly closed the door behind her. Once she locked it up again she turned and dropped her school bag by the coat rack on the left side of the hall. "Honey!" she called out, her voice traveling through the few rooms of the apartment. There was no answer, "Joey? I'm home! Are you here, sweetie?" Silence, no response from anywhere in the apartment. She let out a sigh of relief.

Mona quickly walked throughout the apartment making sure that the window shades were drawn and that Joseph was not napping somewhere. She kept the lights off, not wanting anyone to realize that she was home. She went into the small bedroom she shared with Joseph, there was a desk with a computer on it on the far wall. Before going to the desk, Mona closed the door of the bedroom behind her. She didn't lock it but made it seem like she had just closed it to take a nap or something. She turned towards the computer and kicked off her shoes before walking over to the wooden chair, a wedding present from the government along with the desk. Mona turned on her computer, the blue glow of the screen lighting her face. She immediately clicked on a program which ad all the assignments and grades for her class. She left this on at all times to cover her increased use of the computer.

As Mona began to put in a few pointless grades the computer beeped quietly, indicating she was receiving some communication. Mona pulled a small pair of headphones from a hiding place behind the computer and place them on her head. She then clicked a small icon in the corner of the screen and instantly saw Zee sitting at her desk."We have to talk." Mona heard her say. "Hey, Zee. What's going on?" she said with a smile.

Damien heard the beep of his alarm clock go off, he hit it hearing it stop. He slowly got out of bed and raised his hands he looked over at the clock and saw it was pretty late at night, that’s what he got for drinking to much that night. He walked out of the room closing the door and grabbing the side of his body where a new scar is. He looks around the room and runs his hand through his hair walking over to the cupboard and taking out an cup. Flipping it in the air he slides over to the facet and filling the cup with water. He takes a small slip and walks into the computer room and setting the cup down on the side of the counter and clicking the screen and seeing a red icon blinking. He clicks it and picks up his headphone on the side of the computer. He saw Zee and Mona on the screen and waved through the camera at the top of his computer. “Hey Zee and Mona, where is everyone else?”

"The Rebellion... More like a bunch of teenagers on computers..." Rick was chuckling to himself as he strode along one of the many corridors in the Pentagon. He has reading a brief on how Military Intelligence figured the rebellion had to be communicating. With every phone line tapped and satellites hearing everything that went on via cellphone it was the only way, unless they had tin cans and string. He arrived at a set of doors and barely glanced up as he pushed through them and into the room beyond. Four other men and one woman sat at a long conference table, all of them nodding at him as he entered. He returned their greetings then stood at the far end of the table from them. The big man, directly opposite him, was the director of homeland security. "Hello Rick. Can we grab you a cup of anything?"

The agent shook his head, "Thanks but no sir. I'm here for the briefing then I need to be on my way." The director shrugged and gestured at the file on the table in front of Rick. "Any comments on this latest intelligence?'

Rick picked up the folder again and glanced at it one last time before dropping it again onto the tables polished surface. "To be honest sir it sounds like a bunch of kids on computers. I assume they all play World of Warcraft as well and cut themselves because their "mis-understood" by society." This brought smiles from the assembled group as he continued. "If they are indeed anything special then its got to be pretty low key if this is all you have on them."

More nods around the table and the director cleared his throat. "Amusing and valid points Rick, however the President wants this nipped in the bud and right quick. Your being given a level seven security clearance to do whatever it takes to find and eliminate this group, even if their simply kids who talk to much. If their kids, take away their computer privileges and sent them somewhere... for re-education." More laughter around the table as Rick grinned and picked up the folded again.

"I'll get right on it sir. Good day to you. Gentleman, ma'am." He strode from the room and pulled out his cellphone as he made his way back through the corridors. "Assemble the tracking team. We finally have something interesting to do."

"Hey, guys, sorry to call it together so late tonight," Zee grinned, looking at the familiar faces of Mona and Damien, then looking at the clock, which said 10.52. "We'd better make it quick, curfew's in a few minutes," The curfew was at 11.00, and then all electrical power was cut in the homes of the civilians, making it next to impossible to get on the computer past that time-- unless, of course, you had a computer genius for a sister.

"But anyways. I think they've picked up something. They probably think we're just a bunch of chatty kids, but if some way they figure out the code to get on here, then we're screwed. Which is why I'm gonna get Anna to make a breach tomorrow so we can slip off to Nanna's," Zee told them. Nanna was Zee and Anna's adoptive grandmother, since the twins had never really had a mother-- she died in childbirth. Nanna was with the Rebellion all the way, and her house was way out in the middle of nowhere and debugged, making it the perfect place for meetings. Anna would create a breach in government security, so she and Zee could get out, and the breach would probably attract enough attention that the Rebellion members could slip away to Nanna's house. If not, then those people were on their own to get to the meeting. "Don't worry, I'll make it near lunch break, so you should be good anyways. Woops, gotta go, b--"

The computer screen went blank, and Zee looked back at the clock. 11.00. Well, curfew was curfew. She went over to her bed and lay down on the covers, staring up at the ceiling.

Mona nodded and made a mental note to be ready tomorrow for the meeting. Suddenly the screen clicked off, the clock on her nightstand said 11:01. "Damnit." she whispered to herself, then she heard the front door. She quickly got up from the desk and started to undress. She stood in front of the dresser and pulled out a clean pair of pajamas. As she pulled on her shirt she heard "Babe? You home?"

"In the bedroom!" she pulled on the big baggy pants she had and began picking up her work clothes. The bedroom door clicked open, Mona looked up just in time to see her husband standing there. He was wearing a business suit, the tie loosened and the collar button was undone. "made it home just in time for curfew. Late night at the office?" Mona could careless about what Joseph did but she didn't think he deserved to be treated rudely.

"No, no." He replied, "The guys and I went out for few drinks. Then on the way home traffic decided it wanted to stop two blocks away from here. It was a nightmare." He continued talking about something but Mona stopped listening, she just mumbled out a few "oh really?", "wow" and "that's nice." When appropriate. Quietly she got into bed and closed her eyes trying to get to sleep. She then felt an arm around her waist and her husbands breath on her neck. He rubbed her stomach and said sweetly, "Night Baby. Night Momma" He gave Mona a kiss on the cheek and turned over. Mona just stared at the clock. 11:15

Isabella was on her own computer for the rebellion meeting, knowing the code. She was silent, though, just listening to the others for now and getting the instructions to meet tomorrow. Curfew came right after that, and her own computer screen shut down, the young woman letting out a soft sigh. Hopefully, this rebellion would succeed. And maybe, just maybe, she would meet her boyfriend again.

Naturally, nothing was guaranteed, and Bella knew very well not to get her hopes up too much. It was very possible that the man she had fallen in love with was dead by now, and also possible that she would follow in less time than she should. Rebelling was dangerous business, but she was determined to continue his work.

Currently, Bella lived alone in a small apartment, not having a husband or any family to look after or be looked after by. Her work was a simple office job, which she was glad for, as it gave her time to plan for the rebellion. Then again, accounting wasn't the easiest job out there, and it did require careful attention at times. But Bella was very good at getting it done and having time for other thoughts as well.

Seeing as how it was late, Bella decided just to shower and change into her pajamas for the night rather than staying up even later to do some research or work. Once she laid down in her soft bed, it took her awhile to fall asleep, as always. Her mind was a very busy one, and never seemed to want to shut off for sleep. But, finally, it did, and she slept lightly through the night.

Damien banged his hand on the table and folded his hands over his face, he needed to know more about what Zee was saying. But he guessed he would have to wait until tomorrow, he sighed getting up out of the chair and grabbed his cup of water and walked into the kitchen taking another sip of it before tossing it in the sink. He sat down in a chair in the dining room and laid his head on the table.

Looking at his arm he saw a mark, from a cut or something. Thinking back to the day he lost most of his memory, remembering only a few things from people who knew his family. But the rest of it was history, the scars the memory’s only haunted him. Not knowing if someone was out there looking for him was the worst feeling. He got up from the chair and walked into his bedroom and jumped on his bed crossing his hands behind his back trying to become more at peace.

Beep beep!

Heughes took his 'beeper' from his back pocket. He used the term 'beeper' loosely as only he and a select few knew that it really wasn't a beeper. This device was created to alarm him to any time Zee's Rebellion Communicator was activated. It rather startled him, as he hadn't heard the once-familiar sound of a meeting being started in quite a while. Nevertheless, he was bound by a formal and moral code to respond, so, sneaking into a secluded area, he got to work.

He attatched his Blue-Tooth to his ear, taking a peculiar wire from his pocket and attaching it to the beeper.

The beeper was a very peculiar device. Not only could it tell him when said communicator was activated, but it could also make secure phone-calls to the phones of Zee, Anna, and their father. Taking a second look to see if anyone was looking, he patched a call to the cell phone of Zee Williams.

Anna was sleeping at her computer desk, because she stayed up seriously late last night. She had her headphones on and her pretty advanced web camera on, just in case anyone decided to say something. When she heard her sister talk into the headphones, she jumped up and screamed. "Oh my God, do you have to scream in this thing? I was trying to get some sleep and I have a serious headache." she said, rubbing her head.

She nodded to what her sister said about the computer breach, half asleep. She was a computer genius, even though she was mostly a effortless human being. She decided to put some rock music on max in her headphones, so she would stay up. She looked at the clock, it was 10:59. She hacked into the president's user in a secret and transferred power to her computer, because the president has no limits in his dictator super-powers. It turned to 11:00 and her computer stayed on. Haha, she thought to herself. I have fooled you once again, computer.

She got a long wire that connected to her computer to Zee's room and plugged it into her computer. She turned on Zee's computer and it worked. "That should keep your computer up for as long as you want it on. But make sure to IM me if you don't need the computer on. That cord can get noticed by the security guards if they walk by." she said advicibly. These were the two fields that her sister listened to her about, and she enjoyed bossing her around about it.

"A'ight, fine," Zee rolled her eyes and got up off the bed as Anna came in, head cleared considerably. She did not enjoy taking orders from her (technically) younger twin, but technology was not her strongest area. "But I don't need it... trying to get some shut-eye before you release Hell tomorrow. M'kay?" Ha. Take that, Anna. She'd done it for nothing. A small victory that gave Zee almost no triumph over her more-or-less opposite.

Bip-bip-bip. Bip-bip-bip. Zee picked up her holophone off the bed, which, fortunately didn't run on electricity and could therefore stay active past eleven. She herself didn't understand the technology of the phone, and had yet to discover all of its little extra features.
Hm. Who could be calling this late at night?

"Get out, criminal, before I call the VP on you for that rock music I know you're listening to in the other room," Zee shooed her sister away as she answered the phone, putting it to her ear because whoever was calling didn't have holo-service. Then she answered the phone.

"Hello? Make it quick, I need my beauty sleep."

'You know you're gonna use it. You little liar. Just pull it out if you don't want to take orders from your beloved twin sister. And I'm a felon, not a criminal!" she said while walking out the door. Sometimes, she liked being ignored. That way she had time to herself. She stayed up for a while and finally went to sleep at what she thought to be 3 AM. She logged off of the president's user, closed everything and shut down her computer.

Roland fidgited in his appartment. Curfew, what a pain in the ass to get through... Unless you knew how or had a device that could get around it. He looked up at the camera and flipped up his eye patch and put it over his "good eye". He slowly looked over the model and the scan range before searching for the next. There. Right above the front window in the corner facing his sorry excuse for a bathroom. There was in there above the lights and finally a third and final in his cramped living room.

He stood up and stretched, cane in one hand suitcase in the other. He walked into the closed in room and sat on the couch. Keeping his eyes on the camera he slowly twisted the head of his cane 60 degrees to the left. A few, short, high-pitched rings squeaked then faded. Every five minutes they would continue until otherwise.

Slidding his now free gloved hand over the top of the dark suitcase his fingers brushed the safter locks. A click was head but before he opened it, he flipped the case upsidedown and repeated the process, a little lock and then a second click was faintly heard. He slid open the terminal's screen and let the key panel slide out.

A slick design he had built in his free time... when he wasn't on the move or getting shot at... He typed in the 25 digit clearence code then a 6 digit crack protocole. The screen blinked red and he sighed and entered the three pin area digit. Damn government and its local security blocks... Soon he was in and he looked for the networks he needed. With a simple click of his button he "Lit up" random terminals around the area he needed. As the 12 static screens bliped up onto his screen.

Soon each box of static was filled with a face, each one dressed exactlly like he was. "Good afternoon Rolands...." The Rolands greeted him in return. "Two days from now is the planned "hit". Everyone have their codes?" Again they all chimed in an agreement. "Good.... Good night Rolands...." As each scree closed off he went back through and "erased their prints" as he left false open terminals and other questionable entries on other computers around the city. He finally reached his and he activated every terminal in a four block radius. Being careful to shut his off with some in the middle and letting the others blip off when their power supplies became frozen.

He closed the case and slid his hand along the bottom of its surface, clicking the locks back into place. As he shifted the suitcase into one hand he slowly clicked off the cane with the other. He sat there for 15 minutes, so what ever fool was on guard that night would see he had walked into the room, sat down for an unknown amount of time before getting up and going to bed.

As he picked himself up he was careful to take his gear with him and stash it under the bed. He removed his hat and let his silver-white hair fall slightly past his ears. He flipped the eye patch back to his "bad eye" and removed his suit and pants before climbing into bed. Leaving his gloves and eyepatch on. He closed his good eye and drifted to sleep.

The first traitor to feel the wrath of Military Intelligences top man was a small Chinese man who owned and operated a computer store dealing in devices for thwarting government tracking. He had run it for near on ten years now and only within the last year and a half had the government managed to find his location, a fake freezer in a popular downtown restaurant.

To the patrons in the restaurant nothing seemed out of place at all. A black suburban like so many others drew up in front of the establishment and a single man stepped from the drivers side. He had a friendly smile and greeted the host genially before pulling out a badge that declared him to be an inspector from the city health and safety board. The host quickly ushered him to the managers office where after several minutes he came out, calling back his thanks and vanished into the kitchen.

The kitchen was a buzz with voices calling for orders and demanding to know where items were. Most of the employee’s took little notice of the handsome suited man even when he headed into the back where the freezers were kept. There were six of them and he paced slowly down the row, glancing each one over, finally settling on of the two in the middle. The frost around its edges didn’t gleam as much as the rest and its temperature gauge didn’t seem to shiver as the others did. He glanced about and opened the door. Two Chinese men, big fellows, could be seen standing next to a smaller man who was surrounded by computer monitors. A pistol flashed twice as the door swung closed.

Two hours later the door swung open again and health inspector stepped out from it. He had a bag now in one hand and he adjusted his tie before striding back out into the restaurant. The door slowly sung closed again, two men lay dead with bullets in their head, the smaller man lay on his desk, his head has been smashed clean through one of the computer monitors.

The inspector thanked the restaurant manager and assured him everything was fine before returning to his truck and roaring away. He pulled out a phone.

“Mr. Cornell. Special Agent Thorkalson here. I got it all. Yes sir. You’ll visit the owner personally sir? Yes sir. Twenty minutes sir.” He clicked the phone shut and put the pedal to the metal.

[[ I hope this intro isn't exactly like my last. xDD ]]

It must have been about the fifth time Xaelis had smashed down the 'snooze' button on her alarm clock. Any minute now she'd break it. The woman shook her head, tossing and turning madly in her bed as she tried to ignore her conscious telling her, begging her, to wake the hell up. Xaelis worked the night shift, sometimes at work, like today, so she slept odd hours.

Finally, thank the lord for Zee, who had just decided to chime in on her laptop. The annoying and never ending sound of continuous beeps pulsed throughout Xaelis's room, this time, though, after realizing her alarm clock was off, Xaelis scurried out of bed and ran over to her lap top, the one appliance always kept on for such emergencies as this one may be. The Old Rebellion had been over, though, so the mere thought of seeing anyone's face again almost terrified the woman.

Xaelis shook horrid thoughts out of her head as she sat in her chair, her strawberry-colored hair tangled and seemingly left in odd places. Anyone could tell it was unbrushed in a single glance. There was no sense in even patting it down, so Xaelis simply allowed it and left it to its contortedness.

The hardest part of sitting in that chair, besides refraining to think of the last black chair she sat in, that pitch black room, the pain and interrigation. The traitor, was the 64-digit code to get into the laptop.

Not before long, Xaelis was sitting before long, lost friend Zee, and a few other familiar and unfamiliar faces.
Her expression was all business as Xaelis looked around the many offices, bedrooms, kitches, etc. It was finally time for the New Rebellion to be unleashed.

"At your service," Xaelis winked after hearing Zee speak.

Roland left his lights off in his room and sat up. Once again he repeated his actions with his cane and suitcase from the night before, only this time he hacked into a neighbooring terminal and stole its refence codes and tracking number, since the one he used last night would already be deep within a government building being probed to the nearest nanometer while its owner was brutaly torchered for information he didn't even know about in the first place.

As he stripped away all identification from the computer he rigged another "ring locator" with multiple terminals and examined the area he needed. There was an odd transaction between a laptop and a higher-up's computer and he locked in a smaller ring around that area. There were two of his men close by. Their screens blinking up as he focused in on their section. "Rolands, we have an interesting transaction going on, I want that information..."

Roland gave a quick nod to his boss and shut down his terminal, his partner doing the same where ever he was... He locked up the suitcase and deactivated his cane. He stood up and stretched before putting on his eyepatch and gloves and getting dressed. He put on his hat and grabbed his cane and suitcase. He waited the standard 15 minutes before getting up to leave, his partner leaving in another 25 from where ever he was.

He calmly strolled down the side walk near the designated area and entered a small cafe and sat down at a table that faced a two walled corner. He opened his suitcase, the first side this time, and took out a tape recording device, some pen and paper and a pair of glasses. He shut the case and put it under his chair and put the glasses over his eyes, his "good eye" anyways, and began to look at the papers, pen in hand, and speak quietly into the recording device.

He was really listening to it as it hooked up with the locating ring that surrounded the area. His recording device linked in with Roland and they began to listen in on the transaction between the laptop and the other. Their jamming devices only registering their units as the standard security software found on all computers.

Roland shifted his position and pretend to take notes of the surrounding area... afterall being a journalist was hard work...

((Kevah I am recording your discussion but I won't be noticed. this isn't a government tap but a curious inquery... you may recieve contact at any time from Roland.))

(1 star? LOL you silly raters.)

"Beauty sleep?" Heughes laughed, "And just who are you trying to impress in these dark times?"

She hadn't changed a bit. Zee was just as outspoken and brash as ever, and quite honestly, that was rather how he liked it. He did, however, adopt a more serious tone, considering both the seriousness of the situation, as well as how long it had been since the two had conversed.

"This is Doc, by the way." he continued, "I hope you've been well. I'm calling because my 'beeper' reacted to your 'reactant.' Is everything okay?"

He used the term reactant to protect the Rebellion from stray ears. 'Reactant,' of course, reffered to her communication device that linked her with the other Rebellion members. Though the conversation was strictly business, Heughes couldn't help but smile at this little reunion.

Xaelis could only listen now, as Zee spoke, quick words, all in all, she was just happy to hear from her friend, and even more jouous to hear that they'd be meeting at Nan's house.
A thin smile fell across her face as she nodded.
Xaelis opened her mouth to speak, but just as she was about to add in her input, the power cut off. Instead, the woman let out a sigh and shook her head.

"Great," She said simply, deciding to probably eat dinner before she showered and slept.
Tomorrow would be a big day, as she'd have to assume her position in her writings as Anonymous.

The woman shook her head, her hair still a mess, and walked to her kitchen. Her house, or condo, rather, wasn't too big, though it was homey.
Toast sounded good right then, and so did eggs. Breakfast for dinner, Xaelis's favorite.

Too bad the toaster didn't work.
Or the stove. Or the oven.

The woman cursed herself and the government, deciding to simply have a piece of bread with a bit of butter on it, instead.

"Hi, Doc!" Zee laughed, tone not at all sobered by the situation. She hadn't spoken to Doc since... since.... But anyways. "Yeah, everything is fine, just a little chat. Me and a bunch of friends are going to go have lunch at the Banana Cafe-- you want to come? For old time's sake?" Of course, 'friends' referred to Rebellion members, 'lunch' was a meeting, and the 'Banana Cafe' was Nanna's house. Ha. Good luck for any government cronie listening in to the conversation to find the nonexistent Banana Cafe.

"But seriously. I gotta go. See ya, Doc-- bye." Zee shut off the phone without waiting for an answer, and then sank down on her bed and fell asleep.

Zee awoke to sunlight streaming through her window, and shut her eyes tighter. Finally she dragged herself up off her bed and got ready for the day. When she glanced at the digital clock, it was nearly 7:30.

Ten minutes later, she was dressed in a new skirt-suit and had combed her hair, although a few rogue locks still stuck out oddly. Her green eyes were still glazed over from sleep, but still she stumbled over to grab a black briefcase and wobbled out of her room, rubbing her crusty eyes.

Zee got into her silver hybrid, she didn't know what kind it was, she wasn't a car maniac, and punched in a code on her holo-keypad that appeared with her arrival into the car. The metallic dashboard was obscured by a holographic control panel, and she hit a few buttons as the car started up with a low rumble.

Twenty minutes later she arrived at the White House, swerving out of the morning traffic. She made it into the building at eight on the dot, then waved a greeting to Linda, the substitute secretary-- Anna almost never showed up for work, and was creeping towards a jail sentence despite what Mr. Williams was doing to try and stop it. Zee walked into her father's office, the man already there, and sat down to file papers that were left by the rows upon rows of metal cabinets.

"Morning, Zee," Walter Williams' worn, tired face creased into a small smile. Zee grunted a reply, and the smile disappeared. The girl just walked back and forth across the rows of cabinets, grabbing a new pile of papers each time she brushed past the main stack and expertly sliding them into the correct place among the metallic storage. Today was going to be a long day.

(Oh good gosh, I was gone for a while and look how much I missed out. Well, better late than never.)

Frank entered Control head quarter just like every other morning through its many doors and finally approached the familiar phone booth. He entered it and entered the phone number. A few moments later he was down in the real entrance of Control. "Mornin' Julie, you should get maintainance to fix that elevator." Frank said. Julie, the secretary didn't even bother looking up at him. Frank entered the busy room full of agents trying to figure things out. since agent 23 is a traitor, all the workload has been dumped on him ever since. He braced himself for a busy day.

"Frank! Get over here! We got work to do." A man yelled at Frank, he turned his head and walk over to the man.
