Name- Madame Demelza
Age- About 500 (appears to be in early thirties)
Species- Vampire
Looks- About 5'9" in height and a thick, sturdy build. She has thick, kinky dirty blonde hair that almost reaches her waist and appears to be constantly tangled. She has a round face, an average complexion, lots of freckles and big red eyes. She often wears long peasant skirts and blouses with their drooping sleeves, corsets layered over top, lots of brightly colored shawls and scarves and a forest green cloak that tends to trail behind her. Her neck, wrists, and ears are usually adorned with lots of mismatched jewelry that jingles when she moves. Also, she almost never wears shoes; she avoids it as much as possible. Her apparel tends to be very gypsy like despite her obviously white heritage
Personality- Demelza is considered rude and obnoxious by many. She talks loudly, asks inappropriate questions and is very blunt, sometimes even lying just to get a reaction out of someone. She also has a habit of giving people unwanted advice and reading their fortunes through various means. She's usually, terribly wrong, though she would die before admitting so. Not exactly a favorite amongst many people but those who, for some unexplained reason, put up with her are often dragged into being the life of the party and quite enjoy themselves. She absolutely adores her ‘son’ Jeremy though and dotes on him constantly. He usually helps keeps her in check and keeps the peace between her and other vampires.
Short Bio- After making up so many different stories (greatly exaggerated ones) about how she became a vampire she is no longer sure herself. Depending on the mood she's in though she can be quite entertaining and captivating. Whether she says she was an unfortunate victim of Countess Erszebet Bathory or was taken by a Turkish or Gypsy Vampire. Ever since Demelza was turned though she has wandered practically everywhere. She can barely stay in one place more than a year, sometimes less. When she leaves it is usually abrupt and out of the blue. (That is, if she hasn't been kicked out)
Name- Jeremy Black
Age- 34 (appears 20)
Species- Vampire
Looks- Jeremy is tall, about six feet and very thin and lanky. His face is an oval shape, his complexion sallow and rather sickly looking. He has red hair that hangs in ringlets down to the bottom of his neck that usually hangs loose in his face. Jeremy is blind but doesn’t like people to know so he usually always wears dark sunglasses to cover his fogged over eyes. Since he died in the 90’s his clothing still reflects the grunge era; baggy, stained and ripped jeans, grubby sneakers or Doc Martens, ratty shirts for bands like Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains, and long faded flannel shirts that hide the needle scars on his arms. Occasionally he carries a plain wooden cane around with him but not often.
Personality- The opposite of Demelza he is often very quiet and reserved. He is definitely not a very social person and often just lets Demelza take the limelight while he simply observes what he can. Jeremy also takes great care not to reveal his blindness or the needle marks. He is ashamed of having been a junky and often lies about his previous life like his ‘Mama’ does. Jeremy also doesn’t like to be touched by anyone; he becomes very twitchy when people invade his personal space.
Short Bio- : Jeremy was a junky who lived in a grubby apartment with other grunge junkies. One night he overdosed and his friends were too scared to take him to a hospital. Since they were unable to revive him they left him in the middle of an alley to die. That’s where Demelza spotted him for an easy meal. For some unspecified reason though she decided to turn him into a vampire rather than finish him off. Unfortunately in the process she somehow managed to blind him, because of his heightened senses though this isn’t too much of a problem. Since then he has basically tagged along with Demelza whom he often refers to as Mama of Mamon.
