Name: Dannin Killren
Age: Just over 1000 years old.
Race: Vampire
Gender: Male
Clan/Coven: The Killren Clan, which he is the leader of, named after himself. He migrated from Spain to the States with a few select followers, and has began recruiting and competing against Kristopher to be known as the vampire to murder the entire Vida Coven, best known vampire hunters in the world.

Appearance
Hair: His hair is a brown colour, and sticks straight up in spiky tuffs. His hair is around 4 inches long and around his forehead is a white headband, tied at the back of his head in order to keep his hair in that style.
Eyes: A sufferer from heterochromia, his right eye is ice blue and his left eye is a dark brown.
Face: He has a handsome, if not pale face (due to being a vampire) that almost always comes with a wide grin.
Body: A muscular body, enough to make him strong but not enough to ruin his famous speed. Across his back is a scolding pattern of a severed head on a pike.
Clothing: A pair of dark leather trousers and rough leather shoes. He also wears an open dark coloured jacket on his torso, which has patterns of blood stains in red all over it (some believe it IS actually blood). Around his waste is a belt, it looks normal enough except for the three bells hanging from it on the left side of his body.

Weapon: Dannin wields a large curved sword that is almost like a pirate’s blade. The blade has a line of blood down it, which shines in the moon. The blade itself is 5 inches thick at the center and is tall enough for him to be able to lean on it as if it was another person’s shoulder. It is his great vampire strength that allows him to wield it so easily. He has no scabbard to hold his blade, instead he carries it everywhere. He calls this blade "River sword", due to the fact he earned it after killing the previous owner in a small river battle.





Personality: A rough character, he loves fight and action, and is known to be extremely ferocious when fighting. He takes pride in his speed, which despite his great blade is still enough to amaze some. He likes drink almost as much as he does fighting, and can often be seen with a bottle of alcohol. He also likes sparking fear in others, a job the bells on his waste do most easily. Evolving his past, he is quite sketchy, but overall he doesn't really mind. In fact he loves to brag about some aspects of it.

History: He grew up on the coast of Spain. At the age of 6 he ran away from his family and joined a ship in the navy. He was on the ship for a year when they were attacked by pirates. The pirates won, and he joined them in return for his life. He spent the next 10 years on the ship from the age of 7 to 17, proving himself a ferocious fighter and good strategist for night raids on various coastal settlements. During that time he became good friends with the captain, so good in fact he was asked to take over if the captain died at the age of 15. He also had his back decorated after a failure to do as he was told when he was young, which happened because he refused to kill a prisoner with a pike because he was 'scared' (the real reason was he was too young to hold it properly at the time, but the pirates were a vicious bunch). As a result they dripped boiling water onto his back in small lots, effectively creating the picture of a severed head on a pike.
The most famous of his legends though was how he acquired his River Sword. When he was 16, two years before he left the service of the pirate clan, the pirates (including him) had sailed up a river in small boats in order to sack a small town, with reportedly not many guards. This report was mistaken, and as a result they were vastly outnumbered on the river in a small naval battle. After almost an hour of firing arrows at each other and attempting to board each others boats by swimming, Dannin spotted the enemy commander. Drawing his sword, he jumped from boat to boat, cutting down many enemies in his way until he got to the enemy leader. He fought and quickly killed the commander holding his giant river blade, and effectively routed the enemy force who were so amazed at his ferociousness and speed they retreated.
Infamy of his name quickly spread, and he repeatedly showed similar results in later battles until he became feared as one of the most blood thirsty pirates across the Spanish coast. Then one night, after eating merrily with the captain and the other officers of the ship, they joked that he should attach bells to his belt so his enemies would know when he was coming. He agreed to this jokingly, but this became one his most effective aspects, as just the sound of his bells running towards you would scare and rout a lot of soldiers.
Unfortunately things didn't last, he was caught in a conspiracy (a jealous officer on the ship convinced the captain that his eyes were different colours because he was possessed by the devil) and thrown off board, he had to swim for miles to the shore of a small town. Tired and hungry, he passed out. He was nursed back to health by a beautiful young woman he held sexual attractions for, he never truly loved her, yet they arranged to be married. The fact money was tight, and the fact he had joined the military, meant it took so long to organize the wedding however that several years past, and at the age of 26 his fiancé revealed she was a vampire, shortly before turning him. He killed her with his river blade soon after, and then left to look for salvation in this matter. He didn't find it, but none the less he came to love his new powers so much he decided he was happy to remain a monster in the eyes of others.
Not much is known about him after that other than traveling across Europe, taking part in various battles and wars (some say he was in the crusades and assassinated several major officers in the 100 years war). But a couple of centuries ago he returned to Spain and set up his own vampire coven. He thrived, becoming one of the most successful vampire covens in Europe, however a few years ago he heard of the Vida witches and seeking further fame he took a few dozen of his most trusted and strong followers and migrated to America, where he has now began setting up his coven and recruiting there in order to be a rival against Kristopher and destroy the Vida witches.

Powers: Enhanced overall senses, Enhanced speed, Enhanced Strength, Ability to see in the dark, Enhanced awareness, Enhanced intelligence, Immortality (but not indestructible) and the ability to turn others into vampires.
Weaknesses: Women, drink, his heart and Sunlight.
