Thaine stood leaning against the wall as his stone gray eyes drifted over the medium sized room, prefectly cleared of any dangerous items that posed hazards to intoxicated students. The small cadre of people invited to this low-key part was beginning to trickle in through the entrance, a couple following in after him. Resting against the wall, the giant noticed Emmet approaching him, giddy or happy about something. Although Thaine was likely over analyzing things, nothing seemed like just a party. There were always things to go wrong, errors that were unforeseen, or events that could create anarchy. As such a large, imposing figure, it was often pushed on him to deal with such things. Emmet, being his normal self, arrived in front of him, giving him two slaps ont he back along with a greeting as to his appearence. Unlike the majority of late teens, Thaine cared little for his height, weight, or looks; they simply did not matter to the behemoth.

The large man did not respond much to the offer of alcohol. As a large man with a decent tolerance level, it took an entire keg, if not more, to get the man tipsy. He thought that he might have a drink later, primarily for social reasons, but would refrain from doing so at the moment.

"No thank you"

As Will, another student that Thaine had seen around, approached him and spoke some words of welcoming. Thaine was not accustomed to being welcomed or spoken to much; although people noticed him because he took up half the space, they also crammed their frames against the opposite wall to avoid him. Being so large was both a curse and a blessing.

"My pleasure"

He continued his leaning, observing the group that began entering the room.

“Payment? Payments?” Aurora stared at the boy as if he was an insane pervert or something. God, just this wasn't her night! Everything was just going down the tubes for her own self esteem. Maybe she needed plastic surgery or well something done to her. She shook her head looking over the boy, “Look I said I'm sorry about your father, but if you have some silly thing in your brain that says you can blackmail me for a date or even sex then you have another thing coming.” She paused shifting her weight a bit before going to cross her arms. “I was asking you to escort me because you were cute, and mildly interesting...only for shallow reasons. I don't do pity dates. If that's what your looking for then go stalk my Sofe', my cousin.”

With an eye roll the purple haired girl started to walk off with out the boy. Fine. She would go on her own and have a good time! And it would be amazing! And she would get wasted, high off her ass, and God Aurora was pissed! As the princess walked out of the dance hall she grabbed a glass of champagne downing it in one drink.

Motti: Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerous ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you clairvoyance enough to find the rebels' hidden fortress...

[Vader makes a pinching motion and Motti starts choking]

Vader: I find your lack of faith disturbing

Patrick: I don't think we should see each other.

Evelyn: But your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends. I don't think it would work. You have a little something...

Patrick: I know that your friends are my friends and, uh... I thought about that. You can have'em.

Patrick: There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.
