"Alright.... and I haven't even started drinking yet." Eon grinned. "As long as we get the hell out of this hall and have you lay low until everyone else gets drunk and forgets what the hell is happening." Eon had carried his new friend outside of the hall. "Where exactly is the hospital area again? I'd rather ask someone who wasn't drunk, but you're not supposed to be here. You're supposed to not be drunk... and at the hospital area."

“Don’t you get it? I don’t want to dance. I am not like these other girls… not one fucking bit. If I wanted to dance, I would have remained with Will. I obviously don’t and it’s my business why I don’t! Go back and dance with Aurora! I … I’m just so fucking lonely…”

Cuppy stopped two arm lengths away without uttering a word. The only thing processing was the alcohol consumption and the tone used to describe Faiths' current mood. It wasn't that he didn't have anything to say, but that, he needed time to pass before giving any form of input. Even if words spoken meant consequences to behold him. "Cleanse yourself, then cleanse the world." An ominous voice told him 4 years ago. His own cruel incident from another 2 years prior that led to what he is today.

Pain has touched all and none escape it. She was sad, feeling blue. The thoughts of past times spent and now there's nothing left to say. So she just turns her head away. Despite the rash words, Cuppy would push on. Like the Lord does to his children, Cuppy would to Faith. So his expression changed to fit hers, though not in mockery, but as an understanding while holding a promising voice.

"Then don't leave. Stay. Let Aurora and Will be those that hold you in times of need, such as now. Show them that you need 'em just as bad as they need you. If nothing else, put an end to drinking and allow yourself to surface. There's no need to drown everything you fight back in alcohol."

Cuppy made no advance as Faith cupped her face in her palms. No, his only movements were shifting the weight to the left leg while bringing both arms behind the back, allowing each palm to grasp hold of the other arm. The wires that have held Faith still embedded now in flesh, define her will. In need of a heart that carries on through the pain when the walls start collapsing again. To have a soul that never ceases to follow despite the infection within'. Emerald spheres watched.

"If nothing else, place a sum amount of trust in me and I'll hold you; but only by your will."

Cuppy had offered himself in faith that she would move into his arms. A shoulder and arms to hold her being what she needed the most. And if Faith decided, ears to listen. Though, he doesn't expect to get that far. Nor does he intend to ask. Shortly afterwards, Aurora appeared, offering to take Faith back to their room. One of many crossroads she would have to decide. To stay with a total stranger, relying on him to hold her in a time of need and perhaps enjoy the rest of the night. Or go back to the dorm and sulk.

“Faith...maybe you should sit down darling...do you want me to take you back to the room?”

So great, not only did Faith interrupt Aurora and Cuppy dancing, she interrupted her best friend dancing with Emmett. Things were just getting better and better as time went on. Sit down? No, that wouldn’t solve anything. No, what she needed to do was continue drinking until her mind became nothing more than a blur. Yes, that would solve all problems at the moment. It didn’t matter that they would be there later on. Then again, she didn’t particularly enjoy throwing up or the hangover aspect, so drinking herself into a stupor wasn’t going to happen. So, did she leave the dance floor, which would mean totally blowing off Cuppy or should she stay and just chill. Decisions, decisions. It took her a couple minutes later to realize that Aurora had her arm hooked in Faith’s.

Shifting her attention from her bud back to Will’s roommate, a sigh slipped out of her lips. If she left with Aurora, he would be hurt. If she remained, then her best friend would think that Faith was trying to squeeze in on Mr. Emerald eyes. Not only that, the princess might be hurt that Faith picked him over her. Why the hell did things have to be so complicated? The tears that were already leaking out of her eyes stained her face, smearing her mascara without any remorse. Biting down on her bottom lip, she tried to clear her mind, but the alcohol had already taken hold. Pressing a few fingers against her forehead, she chewed on her lip.

The main thing that she took note of and pondered upon was the fact that Cuppy hadn’t rushed up to her and grabbed her. That meant a lot to her because honestly, she only allowed a few people to touch her. Instead he kept his hands behind his figure and seemed to be giving her time. A twinge of a smile appeared, but disappeared a few seconds later. Why he cared so much for her was not clear, but it made things a whole lot more confusing. On one hand, it made her feel loved, but on the other hand it made her feel unsure about his intentions.

"Then don't leave. Stay. Let Aurora and Will be those that hold you in times of need, such as now. Show them that you need 'em just as bad as they need you. If nothing else, put an end to drinking and allow yourself to surface. There's no need to drown everything you fight back in alcohol. If nothing else, place a sum amount of trust in me and I'll hold you; but only by your will.”

Once again her gaze shifted from her compadre to the overly enthusiastic charmer. Huffing a little, she finally kept her attention on Ms. Von Drake, begging her with only her eyes not to hate her. This expression had only been given once before, which meant Aurora would know exactly what it meant. Before she even moved forward, she had to first fight back a sob that was swelling up in her throat. Tears burned the corner of her eyes, threatening to spill again. Not wanting everyone else to see her crying, Faith took the necessary steps across the floor in order to reach Cupcake’s arms. Pressing her face against his shoulder, she wrapped her arms around him in order to make it appear she was about to dance, though that was certainly not the case.

“…thank you.”

It was a while before Will found his way back to his friends. The scene was just as strange to him as Faith running away on a drinking rampage. Faith is hugging Cuppy? I could have sworn she wanted to beat him earlier... This roommate was rather unpredictable. Rather than question Faith about what just happened, Will went next to Aurora, whispering to her.

"I don't suppose you could explain all of this to me later..? The boy looked around at the crowd. "Um... I now have the reputation of a demon because of Faith running off like that... I don't suppose you could help that situation." Catching the waving hand of Emmett, Will excused himself. "I'll see you later, Emmett offered me a free bottle of rum to help with a party. Apparently there was an issue getting the booze by the staff." Will waved goodbye to the group, smiling to Faith. "Thank you for dancing with me. I'm sorry about whatever I did.."
"She called me late last night, to say she loved me so.
But I guess you changed her mind.
Well I should have known it wouldn't be all right,
But I can't live without her
So I won't even try...
And if I get drunk, then I'll pass out on the floor now baby.
Cause you won't bother me no more.
And if you're drinking, well you know that you're my friend and I say
I guess I'll have myself a beer."

The three stood still on the outskirts of the floor while the rest of the student body kept to their own activities. No matter how much it killed Cuppy to stand there and watch Faith cry. Defenseless. He remained still. They had just met hours ago. There wasn't a history with them that would allow him to just sweep her into his arms. So he frowned. A small chill washing over his body. Through jaded eyes watched a much colder persona. One that knew of loss and sorrow. Though Cuppy wouldn't let that person live again. To be seen again.

The first task at hand seems to deal with Faith and helping her overcome whatever past memories keep haunting her. Perhaps even end that ridiculous drinking habit, as it dulls the mind. Second task deals with the renegade that was taken from the room moments ago. Though Cuppy already had an evaluated plan bubbling within' that fragile mind of his. A sort of stunt like this would normally be outside his field, however, it seemed like the teen needed more help than what the teachers or guards were giving him. An understanding does so much better than slamming someone against a wall. But that's for later. Faith finally began to move. Cuppys heart beat picked up.

It didn't matter that her head was craned down a bit. Jerking slightly to fight back the sobs. The sniffles. What did matter was that she had placed trust in him to tend to her. Something no alcoholic beverage can provide. It didn't take long for Cuppy to wrap his arms around Faith as she did to him. The arms hooked around the mid-section of her back. His hold strong, firm. With her face pressing against his shoulder, Cuppy lightly placed his against hers.

“…thank you.”

"Always here." Were his only words.

It didn't take long for a new smell to emerge. Something that wasn't alcoholic or food related. No. It was Faith's own perfume or hair shampoo that he was smelling. The scent was unfamiliar and rather liked, but Cuppy decided to ask about it later. Now would be wrong and smelling her would just be awkward. For once, he didn't miss his own strawberry scent. Shocking. As unaware as the scent, Will too showed up. Cuppy caught Will whispering something to Aurora, quirking a brow as he soon departed. This brought about curiosity, but not enough to stray away unless he were to carry Faith around. Slowly, Cuppy began to sway from side to side.

We could take your own advice and avenge him if you weren't so contradicting! How dare you throw our vendetta aside to help others! How are you to "cleanse yourself, then cleanse others" when we've not even patched up our own holes?! There's going to be a day when two possible outcomes breach even beyond your own capabilities. And it'll be then that I shine. And I will set out on the task you so willingly discarded 4 years ago! BUT NOT AFTER I GET RID OF YOU! It echoed non-stop. Beating against the walls of his brain that confined him there. This was Cuppys' burden to live with. Like Faith, a demented past; one that for now - had to be repressed by closing his eyes as she held him.

Aurora raised a brow looking between Faith and Cuppy. Maybe her friend was going through a phase where she was boy crazy again? The princess caught her friends look, but really she was more confused than upset by it. It was good that Faith was staying there at the dance, and not sulking. It was good for everyone, and Aurora wanted her friend to get out more. Still it had been the third time that night that she had been left by a person and that fact was getting on her nerves. Right, she would leave Faith and Cuppy kid alone then knowing better than to be a third wheel when not wanted.

Smirking the girl went to turn when Will approached her whispering something about explaining what was going on to him. She shrugged not really knowing herself. Aurora could easily guess of course, but that was more like assuming which was never good. The princess nodded, “Don't worry Will...we'll get a dance in and I'll find another nice girl to dance with you later.” She just decided to ignore the whole explaining things issue. It was bugging her more now though that he knew about the party. Not that Aurora completely minded him there, but heck she wasn't even sure she was going. How could he know before she knew did? If there was a problem with the booze then well maybe that was why...

Deciding she wasn't needed there Aurora gave Cuppy and Faith a weak smile before sauntering off. Yes she could go see about getting the booze, but the girl really didn't want to. There was a party and there was dancing so that's where she wanted to be. Passing a waiter carrying a tray of wine glasses the princess picked one up quickly before knocking it back. She still wasn't sure what booze issue they would have ever since her parents knocked the drinking age back down to sixteen. Yes that would her parents legacy. Putting down the glass the seventeen year old moved towards the dance floor as a random boy walked over to dance with her.

******************************************************************************************************************************************

Emmett's problem really wasn't with getting the booze in the place, but more so it was the type and amount of booze. Apparently a crate was too much for a student to have and the fact it was a type of drink called 'Radka' that know one ever heard of was the main issue. Hopefully Will could clear it up otherwise the rich officer would just have to buy cheap booze from the staff. The eighteen year old fixed the cuffs on his jacket while he waited for Will to come by as his green eyes shifted to Aurora dancing. Quickly they shifted over to her body guard as he approached.

Emmett put a hand on Will's back, “Hey...alright so you think you can talk to them? Maybe tell them its the princess' or something...really its quite legal. Its just not a common drink...”

"Always here."

Faith knew that if she had a few minutes to her self to push all of the unwelcome memories back to the tiny cage they had been trapped in, she would be fine and the fact that Cuppy was willing to help her through it, meant a lot. However, that seemed to be a problem because even as Cuppy held her with his arms around her, they still mocked her and danced around within her already flustered mind. Gripping his shirt tight in her hands, she pressed her face closer against his shoulder almost as if she were trying to suffocate herself. Her shoulders shuddered from the sobs that seemed to wrack her body, but unless one to touch her or look very closely, they wouldn’t know the difference. To everyone else, she was just dancing really close to the teen. What they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them, in theory.

Footsteps caught the attention of her ears and without even moving her head; she glanced out of the corner of her eye to see who was approaching. As soon as Will came into view, she relaxed a little and resumed staring at the shirt right in front of her face. The song overpowered her hearing sense, but she was fairly certain that Will was asking Aurora what was going on. It didn’t matter to her at the moment and she tried to focus on the song, but found that a rather difficult thing to do. Sighing heavily, she shifted her gaze over to Will.

"Thank you for dancing with me. I'm sorry about whatever I did.."

“…’s not a problem ‘n it wasn’t yer fault…”

Yeah, being slightly intoxicated did wonders for her speaking. It suddenly dawned on her that the two were swaying back and forth and for a moment, she wondered if it was her doing. However, a quick glance helped her determine that he was the one swaying them and it was actually comforting. Blade took note during that glance at the weak smile Aurora gave before walking off. The two definitely needed to have some sit down-girl-talk-time soon, especially since it had been a whole year since their last talk. Now wasn’t the time and honestly, Faith still felt a little hurt from Ms. Von Drake’s disappearance from the club. Sighing for the millionth time, Faith found herself chewing on a strand of her own hair. Her head was starting to clear up, which meant the memories were back in their cages, locked away this time forever, hopefully. Peering at Cuppy, she used the back of her hand to wipe away any remaining tears and even smiled a little bit.

“There… much better. I hear they’re havin’ a party later… after the dance. Did’ya want to go…?”

Hell, partying almost always made her feel better, but that was probably because of the environment she surrounded herself in. Hoping that he agreed to attend the party with her, she hijacked some water, a napkin and a mirror and cleaned up around her eyes before reapplying the mascara. Once she was sure she didn’t look like a raccoon, she dropped the items on a nearby tray and turned her attention back towards him.

Emmett had a hand on Will's back, which made him push it off, he wasn't one for being touched by other men. "You must not have received the memo, I'm not the princesses' guard anymore Emmett, just another kid here... However, if worse comes to worst, I still have some connections that would have no issue getting me a drink." The teen walked up to the fellows holding the crate hostage, thinking one way or an other, he could convince them.

"Alright, alright. Someone tells me you are refusing an officer his products. Don't you know where that crate is going? Hmm... I'd hate to have to tell the high ranking boys and girls that they won't receive their gift rations this year."

"But we were told to withhold this from students... and what do you mean gift? And why do you care, you're not even petty officer rank?" One of the men seemed to be rather annoyed by this attempt.

"Actually, I'm a higher rank than you boys, matter of fact, I could have both of you thrown in the brig, but I'm a nice guy."

"You're bullshitting us, you can't be."

"Well, if you want to test it, I can always call my CO, he'd love to know how two petty officers were treating a Captain." The look of confidence on his face was perfect.

"No no no no no no- Wait, you can have the crate, we're very sorry Captain." The scared men left the crates behind, running for the safety of their bunk before Will had time to change his mind.

"There you go Emmett. Thank god I'm just about that rank, otherwise we'd be screwed if caught."

Faith's visage pressed further against Cuppy's shoulder. Her soft sniffles and whines drowned out to the others due to the current music streaming over them. A shaky foundation the only inclination to leave one assuming the two were doing something other than dancing. Emerald spheres unveiled glanced around but only saw Aurora and Will giving them any attention. Those spheres fell to the floor ahead that lead out of the dance-room. A little side-tracked by the heathen. Digits on the right palm began tapping in rapid succession, which, if Cuppy knew why fingers acted like this, then it probably wouldn't bother him as much, but he didn't, and it did; right now though - he had no idea that they were currently tapping lightly against Faith's backside. Contemplating.

It was from the shifting motion Faith assumed while drawing her visage back to clean away tear-stained cheeks that brought his attention back to a small smile. Albeit small, it was enough to set Cuppy back to his previous mood. Now giggling for no apparent reason other than he could hardly return the smile without giggling. Apparently the nightmares that had been internally tormenting the lady had resided and she was feeling a bit better.

“There… much better. I hear they’re havin’ a party later… after the dance. Did’ya want to go…?”

A red-scarfed-hand retreated from Faith's back to the nape of his neck where it dully rubbed. A troubled expression coupled with a certain amount of fear set in. What if a fight broke out?! Cuppy generally wasn't a dominant person unless time was given to be hyped up about it. And alcohol would surely be there and the urge to find the right taste to suit him. There could be hundreds or even thousands!!! Not only that, but drinking and partying are considered sins just by the actions that follow. Commonly. From the distant eyes of a fiend, partying was an activity in which people could have fun by being themselves and playing silly games while laughing at one another while telling stories. From another eye outside the party, it's a drunken hive of people acting stupid and reducing their intelligence who happen to make some pretty sticky decisions. All this hurt Cuppy's head, but the decision had been made.

.. How dare you throw my - our vendetta's aside to play some hero and then contradict your means by pulling a stunt like this!!! You piss me off. Why did He stick us in one body?!?! AND WITH YOU AS THE COMMON FACE?! I should punch both you sunsabitches right in the face. The voice continued to fume in rage.

Quickly, the youthful teens expression went from troubled to exuberant, as he was now going from tippy-toes to flat footed, then back. Up and down. A big grin and a twinkle in the eye. Though that twinkle could've been from the lights. Soft brown hair fell loosely just about mid-eye.

"I'll go! But we have to get some crackers!" He giggled. That scarfed hand now touching his face, the index finger patting against his cheek. Hmmm.

Unfortunately, whenever crying, something happened inside that caused her to start hiccuping. So, while glancing at Cuppy, her body jerked ever few seconds. That in addition with the sniffling was rather annoying and she was so tempted to rip out her heart and throw it across the room. Taking in a deep breath, she tried to quell both the sniffling and the hiccuping, but that was seriously easier said than done. Instead she took that moment to thik about what had been occuring while the two were so snuggled clsoely and it dawned on her that he had been tapping his fingers against the back of her back. There was definitely more than meets the eye with this man and she wanted to get to know him… the deeper part of him, that is. Flashforwarding back to the present, she continued to stand around while waiting for an answer.

If he says no… then he wasn’t meant to be and I’ll just go to the party myself. I am sure Aurora will be there anyways. If he says yes, then… perhaps fate is through mocking me. Time will tell, that’s for sure.

The silence between the two was broken by his incessant giggling. Arching a slender brow, Faith was about to ask him what he was laughing at, but decided to keep mum for the moment. If he wanted to be happy and giggle, then it was his business and she wasn’t going to damper his parade. Still, it seemed weird that while she was upset, he was quiet and studious and when she finally let herself smile, he relaxed and giggled. Was he someone that was emphathetic? Perhaps… or perhaps he was just that kind. It didn’t really matter and with a soft intake of air, she watched him rubbing his neck in thought.

Sheesh, he seems to be having problems. First he’s mellow, then happy, then troubled and back to exhuberant. One would think he was bipolar or something. Oh well, I’m not one to talk considering the different moods I’ve been in this night alone.

His grin caused one to appear upon her face and despite how stupid she felt, it couldn’t be helped. Hell, even she giggled and ignored how funny it sounded coming out of her lips. As his eyes twinkled thanks to the light within the room, she felt a warm sensation starting at her toes and working its way up to her face. It took a matter of seconds, but she felt blood surfacing in her cheeks. Ignoring the blush, she stepped back up closer to him.

"I'll go! But we have to get some crackers!"

“Crackers? Alright, if you want them, you can have them.”

Walking over to a waiter, she leaned in close to him whispering in his ear. The man nodded and walked away from her, heading into the back kitchen area. Tapping her feet while waiting for him to return, she grinned over at Cuppy. A few minutes later, the man walked back out to her, handing her a box of the best kind of crackers known to man. Whispering thanks to him, she made her way back over to the brown-haired male, handing him the crackers before kissing his cheek.

“Well, you have crackers… so, shall we?”

A lone dropship streaked through the sky, smoke trailing from its port engine. The vessel was of military design, and bore the emblem of the Mars Foundation Corporation. Within the passenger compartment sat a lone male, clad in an orange-yellow uniform with red-white highlights. His eyes gazed deeply into the other side of the compartment. Remember, your success here is crucial to our efforts. Take as little risk as possible, get as close as you can before striking. Wait until next year if you have to. We're counting on you, Felipe.

At long last, the dropship arrived at its destination, the Royal Academy. The engine damage had sufficiently delayed their journey such that the welcoming ceremony was already taking place. Disembarking rapidly, Felipe made his way to his assigned room and changed into a rather classic black tuxedo. Then, it was off to the grand meeting hall. As luck would have it, the speeches were all done with, and the students were dancing at their leisure.

Scanning the immense interior, his eyes landed upon a beautiful purple-haired female, who carried herself with an unmistakable air of royalty. That must be the Princess herself. Carrying himself with purpose and determination, he strode over to her, his lips curved with a small smile. As he made his final steps, he took a light bow and extended a hand towards her. "Would you care for a dance?"

It was a bit of a risk, starting out like this. But luckily enough, she accepted his hand, and so, Felipe led her to the center of the dance floor. Placing his arms around the member of the royal family, they started to slowly sway to the music filling the room, moving gracefully, step by step, in near perfect harmony with each other and the orchestral crescendo pumping through the speakers.

As the melody came to an end, Felipe took the time to gaze into the princess's eyes. They were blue, much like his own. Gently pushing aside her hair so he could get a better view at her face, he was rather transfixed. Her features were without a single flaw, and he stood there for a moment, just gazing at her. Then his mind nudged itself back into focus. "Ahh, yes. Ahem. You are a remarkable dancer. May I know your name?" he asked with a smile.

Emmett blinked at the thought of Aurora not having a bodyguard. That was indeed odd for the royal family to be that trusting of the school's own security and the students around her. Then again she was almost an adult he guessed. Emmett let the thoughts flutter away in his mind as they approached the staff. Knowing better than to say anything the officer just let Will do his thing. In less than a minute he had his crate of high prized booze. The man quickly grabbed the crate looking over at Will with a grin, “Thanks Will!” He nodded to the former body guard to follow him. “So...do you want to help me set up? Its going to be small, hopefully, sure there will be a few kids trying to get in who weren't invited..and we'll send them on their way...even the sluts...there will be other after party's they can go to.” He paused thinking about it before turning on his heels looking at Will, “I had even been thinking about inviting a teacher or two...it'd be brilliant blackmail wouldn't it!” The kid laughed going about on his way wondering if Will would follow him or not.

*********************************************************************************************************************************************

Aurora was in fact surprised at the appearance of the boy who took her hand. He was older so of course he couldn't be a new student, but she didn't recognise him. Had she really lost it? Princess Aurora Von Drake completely out of the social loop? No this wasn't possible! If that was true then her little world and everything she thought was truth had to be questioned! Oh God she needed to get drunk. Even with her little inner mental breakdown and soul searching Aurora was able to move gracefully with the boy as they danced. Her thoughts were interrupted though when the dancing boy suddenly stopped which caused Aurora to do the same. Oh no! Was he going to leave her on the dance floor as well? She couldn't handle her world being shaken again, but then a hand brushed some of her purple hair back. Her gaze meet his directly as the two watched each other, yes it could be considered one of those epic romantic moments, but Aurora didn't even know the boys name. More importantly she didn't know his status or where he was going in life which could easily be a deal breaker.

The girl sighed in relief when he complemented her dancing skills. Good her world was falling back into place and the planets were in correct alignment so to speak. That was of course until he asked her that oh so very simple question:

May I know your name?

The blue eyed purple haired princess just stared at the boy barely noticing that they were just standing there on a dance floor while the music shifted to some techno number. “My-my name...” She couldn't help the smirk that appeared on her face as she held out her hand, “Clever...” It had to be joke. That's it he was being quite clever! The girl gave him her hand, “Aurora, Princess Aurora Von Drake the III.” With that girl moved closer to the boy starting to dance with the music. Yes, the princess was back to being herself. “And you?”

"You're welcome Emmett, now if only we had some hotties." Throughout the night, Will had seen many girls, quite a few of them rather beautiful and darling. Although, he did have his preferences, the boy wasn't very picky, as long as the girl looked decent. While his mind wandered, Emmett began to explain the after party to him, and asked if he wanted to help set it up."Help you? Sure, I can even bounce if you wan-" Will finally processed what Emmett had said. "Throw out the sluts? What are you, gay?" Grabbing a hand truck with several crates on it, Will followed Emmett back to the spot picked out for the party.

It was good sized room, holding several chairs and a table for drinking games. Standing in the middle of the room, Will whistled, hearing it echo throughout the room. "This seems like a good place to drink, nothing dangerous around to injure the blackout boozers. I'm gonna grab my music from my room..." Leaving the crates in the room, he started back for his own, and returned with a stereo in hand a little while later. "The dance is almost over, you might want to go round up your guests, old sport."

Felipe gave a slight nod as his target reaffirmed her identity. A loud and fast beat was playing now, and the blue-haired monarch started to move fluidly with the music. It was true what he had been told; the princess was a party girl. Now, Felipe wasn't particularly skilled at this type of dancing, so he kept his movements to a minimum, so as to avoid unnecessary attention. As they danced, he responded to her query. "Princess Aurora... it is an honor. My name is Felipe Rodriguez, engineer. My father, Rodrigo Vasquez, was a plastic surgeon... you might know him. He lost his license after an accident while operating on a Prince Somebody von Something. I think he's your cousin."

"Basically, his career was ruined. I was halfway through the medicae course at the time... With dad out of a job, I got a scholarship from the Mars Foundation Corporation, but they wanted me to be an engineer, so I transferred here from the medicae course. Having recited his family's misfortune, Felipe let out a slight sigh. Reliving the memories was always painful. For a short moment, his mission forgotten, his eyes glazed over, reminiscing the past.

Thaine had been leaning against the wall while the dance had been going on; preferring not to socialize much, it was simply not the giant of a man's nature to do so. A few of his acquantences had barely even managed to get the second year to wear something reasonably nice; however, after much debate, the eighteen year old had drug out his black slacks, his dress belt, his only white silk shirt and his black jacket. The more expensive clothes simply weren't hsi style; in his opinion, they were absolutely useless. Impractically expensive and full of useless fashion; what he wouldn't do to wear his standard camo and tanktops. Emmet, one of the more privelaged officers, a captain if he remembered correctly, had informed him of some after party going on after the dance. Yet another social gathering that Thaine would be manipulated and forced to attend only to serve as the massive body builder who got stuck as the bouncer.

Quietly, the man left his vigil on the wall and rolled out of the room, beginning his treck towards where the party was supposedly being held. Likely, Emmet and Will were already getting ready. Eventually, he arrived at the room where Will and Emmet were discussing something about who to throw out, or something. As usual, the giant had to lower his head in order to pass into the room, making sure his presence would be heard by stepping slightly harder than usual. Once more, he leaned against the wall to the left of the door, waiting to be told what to do in order to help out.

Faith had a case of sniffles and hiccups. The youthful teen found the sudden wave of hiccups by the lady held in hand to be rather funny, in a cute way. Only leading for a craned head and a wide smile. There were many things a person Cuppy's age needed to learn, even later on in life, and he could tell many, wondrous things could be brought around by Faith's presence alone. This, and had those emerald eyes caught the tint, would've noticed a common flush on their faces. A scarfed hand fell in slack to his side -

Emerald optics watched in desperation as Faith left the confines of his arms and to a waiter, where she stayed until they returned. Cuppy's face lit up and those eyes certainly did shine now. Never had he thought to acquire the crackers so easily due to the circumstances of this being a Prom of sorts. Something much grandeur in taste seemed to come to mind in these settings; not crackers. Still! There they were! And Faith as their escort to his greedy, greedy hands as they swooped them right out of her grasp . . or would have if it weren't for one thing. She had kissed him on the cheek.

He was uncertain of what to do for a second, frozen in time, still a broad smile. There was a flood of thoughts and emotions rushing through his mind that not even he could make sense of it all. But, could there have been any other color brighter than what was plastered on his face then? Cuppy needed a second or two to remember what was going on, to unscramble present matters with those of past and future.

The cracker box placed beneath the left forearm as the right swooped around Faiths' waist. That now-all-too-familiar-reassuring-smile placed and a bright face and Cuppy was ready! But, having to bite the lower lip to numb the giggles of a previous event.

"Thank you, very much! And, might I add, you have a very funny giggle!" He teased.

Part of her was relieved to be leaving the dance because it was certainly not her style while the other half wanted to stay snuggled against him forever and dance. The after party wasn’t really her cup of tea either, but at least she wasn’t going to be going alone. Slipping a few fingers through her blond hair, Faith wondered why she kissed his cheek. It wasn’t something the ex-gang leader was apt to doing, but it felt so right. Perhaps it was all because of what he had done for her, or maybe it was something deeper. Something told her only time was going to tell and unfortunately [or perhaps fortunately], time was all she had in the Academy. Watching his expression closely, she noted the pink tinge turning to a bright red shade.

Hah, that’s what he gets for making me blush first.

Shifting her gaze for a moment from Cuppy, Faith searched for Aurora and was surprised to find her dancing with yet another guy. Well, it wasn’t that she was surprised at the fact that her bud was dancing with another guy, but the fact that the man was unfamiliar. A bit of her felt uneasy, almost as if she needed to rush over and protect her roomie, but it was not needed. Aurora was someone who could definitely take care of herself. Returning her attention back to the still blushing man who seemed to be in shell-shock, Blade wondered what to do.

“Eh… Do you need --”

Before she had a chance to complete her sentence, he seemed to snap out of whatever had taken hold of his mind and took the box of crackers from her. Blinking a little bit, Faith let him wrap his arm around her waist and leaning back against him, she found herself focusing on the little things. First there were his emerald eyes and then the way his lip slid between his teeth. Both were quite distracting and before she knew it, her mind was wandering to things that shouldn’t be thought about. Luckily movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention and reminded her that they were going to a party. Walking with Cuppy, she followed the tall man who’s movement had caught her attention to the room in question while pondering whether or not her giggling was funny sounding or not.

“So, are you single or is there someone that holds the key to your heart?”

The words were out before she could stop them and her face turned a light shade of pink immediately afterward. Sliding her bottom lip between her teeth, the teen bit down hard upon it to keep herself from saying something else that would be regrettable later on. Luckily the two reached the room after a few minutes and the sound of music and idle chatting helped break the silence. Glancing around, she took note of all the alcohol, especially the kegs, and grinned widely. Drinking almost always helped her loosen up, which was exactly what this situation needed. In fact, the first thing she did was pick up a bottle of whiskey, taking several swigs of it. It in addition to everything she had already had to drink at the dance helped her relax although ultimately, it probably would lead to her downfall later on in the evening.

Emmett smirked listening to Will and then following him to the door. Promptly with out warning he slapped the 'freshman' on the ass, “I could be bi...” The man smirked knowing clearly that the kid had some homophobia issues and so it was fun to tease him every once and a while. “And we keep the sluts out Will because we aren't desperate...learn to be picky and you'll get girls fawning over you.” Emmett had completely disregarded Will's last statement. His invited guests had already been messaged and they would show up whenever they showed there was no being late there was only showing up.

Just as the kid was going to turn back to his room he noticed Thaine enter the room. Emmett grinned always admiring the other guy for being well so built and yet so gentle. “Well hello tall, dark, and handsome..” Alright so maybe Emmett was a little bi, but he was like in Aurora in the fact he loved attention. The officer went to pat Thaine on the back, only two pats because that was the way of a man, “I'm glad you can make it...do you want a drink? I have some stuff that is well rather new and tastes like candy. Or do you like harder stuff?” The man turned a bit to see Faith and the boyish man enter the room. “Oh hello Faith! And...um...” He coughed looking at her escort, “And you! What's your name anyways? Have we met? I don't think so. My name is Emmett.” With that the man reached out a hand for the other to shake if he wanted. He smirked a bit noting Faith was already getting the booze.

********************************************************************************************************************************************

There were certain times when Aurora was useless at being sensitive, caring, or well human. When she was drinking, dancing, and partying those were one of those times. It wasn't that she didn't try, or that she didn't care it was instead the fact that once she had the mindset to have a good time well she just did her best to ignore anything that would bring her down to reality. So when Felipe told her his connection to her family that ruined his father's career and derailed her dreams well the princess had to pause for a moment as she debated her options. She could be a complete bitch and just shrug it off or she could have pretended that she didn't hear a word he said. The later seemed appealing, but well she could try to be upbeat and sensitive once.

“My cousin?” She tried to think back on what male prince's had plastic surgery which was pretty much all of them. But what one still looked bad? Hmm? “Oh...you must be Freddie...yeah I think I remember that. He over exaggerates...Your father was the only one willing to do a male boob job anyways...and his pecks look fine. I don't remember what the problem was...tragic really.” She paused looking back at him. “Have you tried appeals? And I hope you don't think all of us are a bunch of jerks like Freddie...we're not really...well some of us.”

The purple haired girl shrugged seeing Faith and Matty leave the room as she remembered the after party. “Hey look...I don't normally ask random guys-” She paused. “No I normally do...want to escort me this after party? I can prove that we're not all jerks and you can be my hot date to make me look good.” She grinned. “Plus I'll let you tell the press you went on a date with me so you get semi-famous. How about it?”

Poor William cringed as he felt a firm handed slap his behind. Regardless of the words that followed, the boy mad e a mental note to get revenge during boot camp. "You know, I'd hate to have to prove you wrong, but women don't fall for guys like me... It's more likely that I fall for them.." Will snatched his bottle of rum off the table and popped the cap off with his thumb. It was time to enjoy himself, before he had to relieve the bitching of a drill Sargent. What made it worse is that he was a higher rank than the man that would be bossing him around.

Clicking on the speakers in the corner, he let the sounds of Daft Punk fill the room. Emmett seemed to be greeting folks who entered, one person caught the boy's eye. He extended his hand to the large teen, smiling. "Thaine was it? Nice to meet you, the names Will. I can tell I'm going to enjoy having a teammate like you during basic."

At the princess's invitation, Felipe couldn't help but tilt his cranium slightly and raise an eyebrow. His father had simultaneously lost his license, credibility and occupation in one fell blow, and as payment, and in repayment, he gets to escort her high and mighty arse to some illegal party? Had he retained the capacity for laughter, the man would have laughed his lungs out before shooting her then and there. Fortunately for the princess and the engineer's own agenda, Felipe hadn't let out so much as a light chuckle for over ten years.

Maintaining near-perfect composure, albeit a slight twitch in his left ear, he released a wide grin to match Aurora's, "Well, that seems reasonable enough a payment, Your Highness..." Temporarily at a loss as to the next piece of the puzzle, Felipe quickly scanned the room and its inhabitants. While many people had already left the hall, there were still a few stragglers. One young male was being quite romantic with his partner, who had her hands wrapped around his arm. Rapidly processing the visual input, he tentatively offered his own arm towards Aurora. "Shall we be off then? Perhaps we can discuss future payments then."
