Nigaito was happy when Echo picked him up, and he gave her a cright, cheerful smile. "Good!" He said, giggling. "You shouldn't be sad! Because people can get ugly inside when they're sad. Mommy told me that, once. And I think you're really pretty." He was unusually cheerful, here with her, even though she was a stranger. She was nice to him, and she seemed really upset, so he wanted to make her smile.
Taito rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, Miku," He replied. When she suddenly left, though, he felt a tense air between him and Amiya. What was he supposed to say to her? And what was with Miku nudging him, like that? True, she'd seen what had happened between them, but he wasn't even sure if any of those feelings had been real. I mean it had been a tough time for him, and maybe Amiya had pitied him or something. Whatever the case, there definitely wasn't any romance, right now. He felt almost guilty for that happening-- hadn't he promised his love to Miley? Hadn't he told Shun that he would always love her, and that he would never move on from that incident? Somehow, he felt as though he had betrayed Miley. And yet, he pushed those thoughts away and focused on the things around him, trying to find something to talk with Amiya about. But what...? Noticing Nigaito, he was surprised. "Hey... Nigaito's letting someone other than Meiko or Shun hold him. He's growing up a little, I guess?" A small smile crossed his expression as he tried to keep the topic away from their current relationship. Right now, he wasn't ready to discuss it. If he did, he was afraid that he would have to face those memories of Miley, again, and he couldn't do that. Not here, anyways.
Akaito followed Miki over to the others and gave them all his charming smile. Their conversation confused him, but he figured he'd introduce himself, as well, when Miki did. "And I'm Akaito," He told them. "It's nice to meet you." At Mikuru's request, he grinned. "Oh, hell yeah!" He replied. Akaito had always been one to love karaoke, and he was pleased to hear that they wanted to come play, too. "It'll be fun to have more people to sing with, right, Miki?" He looked down at her with an excited smile, his hands resting on her shoulders as he stood near her. "That is... if any of you think that you can handle my skills," He teased, grinning.
