Kirsten walked down the dark hall outside the nearly empty castle. It’s the second day of winter holidays, Kirsten decided not to go home, home to what? Her lonely place in Ireland or her summer home in Greenland? The winter home being Ireland, she lived alone, that’s how vampires liked it, alone. Her heels clicked loudly on the newly polished floors, her blond hair swinging in a high pony tail, her eyes now blue due to contacts.

She kept to the shadows she glanced up to see her brother kissing some girl, his blond hair matching hers, his eyes are really blue not fake like hers. He opened one blue eye, which grew wide, he pulled himself away from the red-head with serpent green eyes. “Hey do I know you?” He asked in his deep husky voice, she shook her head, causing her high pony-tail to whip her face. “You look like my sister” he said with a twinge of hope in his voice, this only saddened Kirsten.

“How could it be her? She’s dead, remember?” The red-head asked, sorrow in her voice. She gently moved a strand of hair from John’s face.

“You’re right Sabe” he said and wrapped one arm around her shoulder. His eyes grazed Kirsten once more, “sorry for wasting your time” he said.

“It was no waste of time Jo-“ she almost said his name, he blinked and Kirsten was half-way gone when his eyes opened again, a Wisk of hair and she was gone.

‘Jack frost’s nipping at your nose’ she muttered, something her brother used to say when she had a red nose, she walked in the crisp winter night air to Hogsmead, found her prey and attacked, cleaned herself off, then walked to the Three Broom Sticks, put her coat down and found a booth.

~ Walking along the forest edge, she let snow fall into her black hair. Midnights eyes glew their usuall emerald as she kept her gaze cautious. Wearing her black t-shirt, black pants and black combat boots, she was not cold. Even when she didn't have a jacket. Emerald horns peaked out from her long stright black hair, a green tail swaying behind her. She was calm, no worries at themoment, but stayed on edge just in case. Through out her whole life, she always had to stay on edge. Always.~

James walked the halls. His hair short and dark brown but his hair was spiked a bit. His eyes a deep blue that was like the color of deep blue sea water. He was tall about 5'8" He was pretty good looking as well but you would expect that from him seeing as his parents were very good looking people. James was going to walk outside into the cold air wearing just a black t-shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans and some sneakers. On his way there he passed John. "Hey John" Then he kept walking on to the doors that would take him outside of the castle.

Tansie also walking down the halls seeing as she stayed every winter because she only had a father left that didn't give a damn about her.So she had a blue skirt on and some black skinnys on under that. Then she had a matching bluse t-shirt to go with the skirt. Her long brown hair was down to her middle back. Tansie had deep brown eyes. Tansie then walked past John and his girlfriend.

Kirsten decided to go back to the castle and just hang out in the shadows becuase she had no friends at all, she wanted so despratly to make atleast one friend, she ran back to the castle faster then any human, and didn't think anyone was around so she started showing off, she lit a nearby twig on fire then extingused it with her finger, then shifted to her tiger form and let out a roar, then noticed someone standing outside the castle, she shifted back and ran towards the trees.

John looked up wide eyed, and realized he really didn't like Sade, "Listen Sabe, I don't think you and I are going to last very long, your an amazing kisser, but thats all we do, I'm sorry, but I need more" he said and without another word walked outside just in time to see a tiger and hear it roar, then he remembered Kirsten's favorite animal, and things started to click in his mind.

James walked out of the building and was looking around outside he never got cold fast but that was just the way it was. James saw John outside and looked for what he was looking at and saw a tiger roar. It was amazing to see but at the same time he had that little feeling inhis gut of fear. But the fear had made him still as he watched wishing that he would not be attacked. So his eyes never were taken off the tiger not until it was out of sight which looked like no time soon.

Tansie saw everyone who had stayed for winter holidays mostly all of them go outside. So wondering what was going on she walked down the hall with the sound of her shoes hitting the floor echo. Then when she got outside she instantly saw the tiger. She had a mixed feeling of being scared for the tiger might hurt her and the feeling of going up to it but she just stood there gawking at the tiger. The slight wind had made her brown hair move in her face a bit but she just slightly brushed it to the side. Still gawking at the tiger she was speechless.

She looked over as something headed in her direction, before seeing a tiger. She watched carefully, turning, not afraid. She knew how to stay safe. But she didnt want to attack or run off incase if the tiger was friendly. Her hair swirled around her when the wind blew against her. Her emerald eyes watched the movements. Her tail stiffened. She had tensed up ever so slightly.

Once safe out of sight Kirsten climbed a tree, and shifted again then let out another roar, this one sad and mournful. She mourned her normal life, her human life, her life with her brother. Oh how she missed him, they have been at Hogwarts for years together and he had no clue his sister was still alive, she felt terrible.

John knew right then that Kirsten was alive and well, his eyes gleamed with tears but he blinked them away, then took off after her, "Kirsten! Kirsten" he screamed running after the tiger who was infact his sister. Kirsten shifted and was now in tears, Kirsten leaped off the tree and ran back to the castle.

James watched a girl he knew run into the castle. He didn't know who exactly it was but he thought he knew her from somewhere before but maybe that was just him in shock. James walked back into the school and walked to the hufflepuff common room. It was his and almost all the Hufflepuffs had gone home for the winter besides Tansie. He sat on the couch and sighed he didn't know what to do he was always bored during winter holidays at the castle.

Tansie watched John chase after the tiger. Was he crazy? Then has he shouted his sisters name she was confused wasn't Kirsten dead? well she didn't really know she wasn't told much. Tansie has a littl conversation in her mind whether to go see what John was doing or go back to her common room. Being not so brave as she would like to be she went back to her common room. Once there she saw James sitting on the couch. It was always just them from their house during the winter. James was like a older brother to her but really in no way were they related. She sat in the chair then sighed for being she was tired. She curled up in the chair and stared at the fire.

James looked at Tansie as she came in. She was like the little sister he never had. He always wanted to know if she was okay and watched out for her. Knowing that her dad was an ass he could talk to her about anything and she would always listen to his advice. "Hey Tanz, You alright you seem a little down" James wanted to know so bad he knew something was wrong he knew she wasn't just tired. Tansie looked up at James "I don't want to talk about it right now" Tears were running down her eyes. She had silent sobs and James didn't like it. "Tanz please! you can tell me you know that...and things wont get better until you tell me" Tansie looked away then said "Its my dad...you know how hes an ass...but I still love him, I got a letter yesterday he said he didn't want anything to do with me and that I was kicked out of his house for good" She then started to cry harder. "Where am I supossed to go!"

James got up and went to her side and bent down on his knees so he could look her in the face. "Tanz we will work it out I know you need a place to stay and well I am sure my parents will give you my older sisters room since shes gone now.." Tansie whipped the tears from her face and hugged her friend she thought of as a brother. Then he hugged her back.

Tansie got up and said "Well you want to go do something other then seeing me cry all day?" James smiled this was the Tansie he knew always when she was upset she would go and find something to do to get her mind off it. "What did you have in mind Tanz?" She smiled took his hand and started to lead him outside to the snow. "Snow ball fight"

She calmed, relaxed, knowing that no one was coming to her. She stood by a tree, watching a girl run off crying, and a man calling her name. She stared at them, before shifting her gaze up at the calming sky. She felt the wind rush past her again, and she stayed calm. Her hair whiped at her face, but she did nothing to stop it from getting in her eyes. She then took a breath, shutting her eyes, letting the wind empty her thoughts.

"Kirsten!" John scrramed and grabbed Kirsten's arm and spun her toward him, "Finaly I found you" he said, "You are Kirsten right?" He asked, then knowing she didn't want ot talk he lifted her sleeve and saw the old scar their dad left when she was young, he gasped and held Kirsten close to his chest, "at last, my sister" he said as tears poured from his eyes, "how long have you been here?" He asked, she shrugged, he just held her close and cried.

"Pull yourself together Johnny, this is pitiful" she said in a disqusted tone.
"Pitiful? I find my sister after sevreal years and me crying is pitiful?" He demanded as tears of anger stung his eyes, "Wheres your heart of gold? How many boys have you had seince last I saw you?" He demanded, not knowing that Kirsten could burn, crush, freze, distroy him with one twitch of the eye. And oh how she was tempted.
"That brother is none of your damn buisness" she said and stormed off.

"Kirsten!" John screamed and grabbed Kirsten's arm and spun her toward him, "Finaly I found you" he said, "You are Kirsten right?" He asked, then knowing she didn't want ot talk he lifted her sleeve and saw the old scar their dad left when she was young, he gasped and held Kirsten close to his chest, "at last, my sister" he said as tears poured from his eyes, "how long have you been here?" He asked, she shrugged, he just held her close and cried. Kirsten was getting annoyed with this show of emotion.

-"The old me is gone. gone with the wind, lost over the years, John you don't know me anymore." she said in a cold dead tone.
--"You are my sister, my flesh and blood" he said weakly.
-"What blood?" SHe asked her voice carring off on the brezze from the open window.

Tansie and James were throwing snow balls at each other and then they just stopped.
"Did you hear that?" Tansie asked James.
"I heard it all right, What are they talking about?" James said.
Tansie looked at him "Who are they?"
James shrugged "I dunno"
Then they were looking around but couldn't see anyone. Then they looked around the castle, and then they saw an open window.
"Tanz! do you have your broom?" James asked.
Tansie looked at him "are you crazy? you think I carry my broom every where?"
James shrugged once again then took her hand and then they ran inside. They new where that window was and they kept running until they saw a girl and John.
James looked back and forth between them and asked "Is every thing alright?"
Tansie saw that John was crying but she didn't want to ask because he also looked mad right now.

John took a step towards Kirsten, she stepped back. "John don't, I don't want to hurt you, I can't bare to hurt you" she said looking hurt herself, her eyes turning blue with ice, her hair changing to a blue and resembled a water fall, she walked out the same way she got in passing the two people, splashing them with water on her way out.

"Too late" John muttered falling to his knees, his world crashing down, he saw Tansie and James, they looked worried, "No i'm not okay" he stammered, "My own sister just walked out on me" he said still on his knees, crumpling down, he was 6'4 no one ever thought he was capable of tears.

James looked at John he was curious. "John I thought your sister was dead how was that possible unles-"
James went pale and ran the thoughts through his head "She..s-shes, We h-have a v-v-v-vampire in our school?"
Tansie saw James shaking. She placed a hand on his shoulder "James its okay she has been here for awhile and she has not hurt anyone so..dont worry about, Just go back to the common room okay?" James sighed and nodded.
He walked off to his dorm. But when he got to the common room he paused. Then after a few minutes entered and sat on the couch in the common room.
Tansie knew how John felt. Except it was her dad. She bent down on her knees beside John. "John, Look I know how you feel with your sister walking out, She just walked out because well she said it her self she didn't want to hurt you, and well I think she makes a good point she is after all a vampire and well they are not always as nice.." She paused for a few minutes to let that sink into his head then she started again. "Your lucky she wants to at least keep you safe."

John was still shaking on the ground, tears stinging his eyes and filling his mouth, he smacked the ground to get his anger out, "She's so different, theres still an old spark in her eyes, I saw a taste of the old Kirsten, I need to get the old her back." he said through gritted teeth, "I think I know who can help" he muttered.

Kirsten stormed into the Slytherin common room, and went to her dorm, throwing her self on the bed, "the one time I need tears" she muttered through clenched teeth.

Jamie entered the Hufflepuff common room, confused and pissed off, "Was that girl you talked to named Kirsten?" She asked cautiously looking at James.

James was startled at Jamie coming in at first he thought it was someone else. "God you scared me Jamie" Then he looked at her and said "No....that girls name wasn't kirsten..where did you get that idea?"

(I'm bringing Brad into this RP ;) haah)

Brad walked by on his way to the Ravenclaw common room he saw Tansie and John. Tansie was a girl he had lilked but he never had been friends with her or the fact that he had never gone out with her. But Tansie was a hufflepuff there was no point. He didn''t know what hgad just happened and he didn't want to know so he walked on.

Tansie looked at John. "Who are you talking about? I mean I am sure you can get your old sister back if you show her memories and stuff from your childhood."

"Are you sure?" Jamie pressed, starting to loose hope, and her strong front, Jamie had never been one to cry, or show emotion, one tear slipped from her eyes, and she fell to her knees, much like John had, but not as dramaticly.

John shook his head, "No the memorys with her were ripped and burned by mum and dad, said I don't need to remember such a waste of space, such a traitor." He said getting himself together once more, and looking up at Tansie.

James looked at Jamie and saw the tear slip down her eye. She must of known Kirsten. "Look all I know is that her name was Kirsten and she was talking to John thats it thats all."

Tansie looked at John. "Well do you know a way to get her back? I mean there has to be some way" Tansie knew that helping John would be good. She couldn't fix her problem with her dad but she could help fix Johns problem.

Jamie wipped the tears away, and her face lit up again, "Really?" She said sounding better and like a little girl, she started fidgiting with the locket around her neck, "You must be wondering why John and I are so hell bent on her, she was the best person alive, her smile would light up a room, and she never cried infront of those she cared about. Everyone who knew her loved her, she was an amazing friend to have." Jamie said with a smile. "The world has its light back" she muttered.

"I think but I need Jamie and some other people to help get that light in her eyes." John muttered, his mind spinning with thoughts.

(Haha Brad, yeah I know...same chars...oi my dog is annoying!)

(My dog isn't annoying! Brad chases most females..its just his nature :P ahaha I might add in Amanda as well I did enjoy Amanda quite a bit)

Tansie looked at John. "What house is Jamie in again?" Then Tansie looked at John and stood up. She lent her hand out to him to see if he wanted help up. "Want help up?" She asked waiting for him to answer.

James nodded. "Well I never knew her too well so I dont think I can help too much there." Then James looked at Jamie "Well Why dont you say we go find John and then go find Kirsten?"
