Kairi's gaze hardened, her expression suddenly firey with anger. Her fists clenched, and she had a sudden urge to step forward and punch the salesman in the face. And...she did just that. She grabbed the guy's collor, pulling him down so his head was level with her's. Then she socked him one in the eye, before pushing him away, and returning to her place slightly behind Arty. "Thanks, but I think I can take care of myself," she said to Allen, a small smirk on her face.
She was going to continue, but she noticed something wrong with Arty. He was all anxious again, his vibrations jumpy and unplaced. She wished she knew what was wrong, and she could of found out, but she didn't. She believed it was private to Arty, and she wasn't about to invade his mind just because of her curiousity.
Together forever...

Arthur snapped back to reality and looked up at the situation.
What's going on it's happening too fast I don't know what's going on I'm tired and hurt it's night I want to sleep where's that fox that was here before he was very nice I think I'm having a maniac moment I feel tired..
He panicked then sat down on the floor, put his hands around his knees and lay on his side then put himself to sleep.
I think that dirty thoughts are bad.

Wow she can move... fast.
Was the only thought that crossed his mind between the moment he noticed her expression falter and the moment that sharp pain shot through his skull. "What the... ugh! What's the big idea?!" Allen kept a fairly good check on his anger; an attitude that extended even to which words he allowed himself to use.
"Thanks, but I think I can take care of myself," she snipped at him. Well that certainly didn't sound like 'thanks.'
Just when the situation seemed that it couldn't possibly get any stranger, the man called Nick began moving strangely and muttering to himself. Allen took a step back, still rubbing the sore spot on his face. Nick began panicking before slumping to the ground and falling over into the fetal position. Just like that - he was out, sleeping like a child.
Allen smiled nervously and very much awkward, "It was.. nice.. meeting the two of you here... in this hallway.. because that's not strange... But I should go now I think, I'll leave you two to your... stuff and all that."
With that, Allen stepped around Nick and the woman, darting into the turbo lift. "Maybe I'll see you around... in the medical facility?" He jammed the "close door" button several times and finally let out a sigh of relief when the lift began to ascend.
The ride took several minutes due to the nature of the space station, and Orion, seemed to be especially tall. Allen took the time to recover from the situation now behind him. He tenderly touched the spot on his face, just under his left eye, where he had been sucker-punched. He adjusted his trench coat collar. People normally only treated him like that AFTER they knew he was a salesman, even if they didn't really understand the true nature of his work.
Now, had he been paying closer attention to his surroundings, perhaps he would have noticed the boy in a wheelchair in the lift with him - BEFORE he left the scene. That is now, however, how this took place. Allen froze when he heard the sound of something, or someone, sputtering incomprehensibly. Slowly turning his head, Allen peered over his shoulder and saw a boy sitting in a wheelchair fast asleep.
Allen groaned in himself...
Why me?

I wanted to stay here and keep an eye on the three, and the newcomer from the freighter, but I had to prepare for tomorrow's lessons. All those kids... and some of them quite rowdy. I didn't look forward for that, but I had applied for the job because I thought I could handle it. Hey, I thought, who'd want to mess with an alien with a deadly poison in his claws.
Yeah, but you have to keep warning them and warning them,Kykherhenha sent, or they'll sneak up behind you and pull your tail or something. And then they get scratched and die, and their parents will blame you...
They can't, I interrupted. They know it's pure instinct.
I thought of the three things you must never do to a Tereskadian and a whistling dragon.
Maybe you should tell them, Kykherhenha sent.
Not now.
I wanted to talk to the newcomer, but I had left in such a hurry that I didn't have a chance. Oh well, I thought, perhaps I would see him again. Right now, I had more important things to do.

Arthur got up and walked over the elevator. He pressed the A button from the menu and then entered the shaft as Kairi followed.
He got off in the A sector and walked across the hallways to the 1 section.
"Here we are.." he said, nervously.
He opened the door and sunlight flooded out of it, followed by all the colours of the rainbow. He started laughing manically as 'Where's Your Head At' started playing in his head.
He walked past the gum trees of the bush, through the oasis and past New York. He jumped up and down at a nightclub and drank a few beers.
It was 2001 again. What a weird dream. He sat down at a table and talked to this kid. He then glanced sideways and saw that it was the kid in the wheelchair.
Arthur screamed out as he awoke laying on the hallway floor sweating.

On the opposite side of the station from the famous wormhole, a ship dropped out of hyperspace.
The Rigante was a warship, her sleek lines and obvious gun turrets made that undeniable. Still despite her warlike appearance, she entered the system with weapons powered down and sent friendly communications relays to the station, along with an odd burst of coded transmissions that was seemingly random.
Once standard coded entry relays finished, a voice broke out over the comm, "Space Station Orion, this is the Independent Cruiser Rigante, requesting a berth for one personal spacecraft, IFF#: EK 1, on board is one Major Don Jabez, leader of this vessels' forces. Be advised, EK 1 is a G-Class single pilot fighter. Weapons will be powered down." Confirmation and permission flowed quickly being vaguely obvious, not to mention mildly armed space stations generally don't antagonize peaceful warships even if they are relatively small cruisers. The EK 1 slipped out of the Rigante's hold and began an approach vector on the station.
Don was not nervous this was just one more space station to visit and deal with for supplies. Hopefully communications for potential work will reach us here, thought the mercenary leader, Things are getting a bit tight on board. Maybe we can off load those Small lasers, none of us favor them for our vehicles and most stations could use improved anti-fighter defenses. I hate to trade military equipment for food stuffs, but we'll have no choice soon.
Don's thoughts were interrupted by the docking control instructions coming in over the comm. "Fighter EK 1, please continue to berth Alpha 670." crackled over the comm. Don keyed in his comm and responded, "Copy that, Orion."
With that the snubfighter engaged its final docking autopilot, within minutes the fighter was docked. Major Jabez popped the cockpit and emerged setting his flight helmet back down on the seat. He quickly headed for the 'lift so he could make his scheduled meeting.

"Arthur?" Kairi said quietly, crowching down beside him, her expression anxious.
He had just screamed after randomly falling asleep in the hallway by the lifts, and woken up in a cold sweat. She wasn't worried about him, she was worried for him. It was obvious that his dream had been a bad one, and that it had scared him deeply. She gently grabbed his wrist and helped him to his feet. "C'mon," she said, determination in her voice. "We need to find a place to sleep," And it was true. She was whacked after that insident with the kid in the wheelchair, Twinkletoes, as she called him, and she had to struggle to hold both her's and Arty's weight up.
They walked up and down coridoors, but there was no sign of any sleeping quarters. But she did spot a small, cozy supply room which looked inviting. She pushed open the door and layed Arthur onto a pile of soft sacks and pulled on over him like a cover. Then she herself lay down onto the top of a crate, the joints digging into her back. She ignored them, her weariness being too great too care. A grand total of 48 hours she'd been awake, and now all she wanted to do was sleep. She yawned, and curled up like a little pussy cat, before falling into a deep silent sleep. Her only worry being, that Arthur wouldn't be there when she woke up.

Arthur woke up about an hour after Kairi put him down.
I'm needed elsewhere.
He stood up clumsily and checked his PDA and pressed a few buttons on it. He evaporated into golden glitter.
Ten minutes later, silver glitter formed his body and he fell down puffed. He was afraid to tell anybody about what he just did, it could corrupt time and space if they knew, but he did know that Kairi was perhaps as wise as him.. He'd tell her later, he can't bottle up things like this.
He suddenly fell down exhausted from a seven day trip.

Kairi's eyes flickered when Arthur woke up, but she didn't wake. Her mind was elsewhere, deep within the ferocious battle between the Heishi and the samurai.
Genkuro Yoshitsune...
Benkei Musashibo...
Shizuka Gozen...
Lord Buson...
Kairi...Aang...Roku...Kyoshi...
Her eyes flicked open, her expression blank, blanker than normal. Her mind was still asleep, but her eyes, they were more awake than they ever could of been. She saw things, things one like her didn't normally see. A phoenix of fire cackling in a burning inferno, a flying bison in the eye of a ruthless hurricane, a badger mole enshrouded in the blackest earth and a water horse swimming in the trecharous deep. She did not realise, however, that Arthur was missing. Then her eyes closed again and she was back to her peaceful slumba.
She awoke thirteen minutes later, her head pounding slightly, and her back aching from sleeping on a hard surface for so long. She winced as she sat up, her muscles taught, and gazed down at Arthur who was collapsed, exhausted, on his make shift bed. But there was something different. Her eyes narrowed as her mind scanned the vibrations. He wasn't where he should've been, he was on the floor, no longer asleep on the sacks, and his vibrations told her that he'd been travelling. She would ask him about in the morning. The sun had not yet risen, and the many stars were still shining like fairy lights in the night's sky. She yawned, as her eyes drooped...

Morning rose.
Arthur woke up, he felt water around him.. Water? He jumped up and saw that it was a pool of his own blood. On his trip back, he must've cracked his head.. There was way more blood then that. He forced himself to assess the situation. He felt all around his head. Slight facial hair growth from seven day trip. No wounds on head. Moving on.. He looked down at his white stained shirt. He took it off and revealed when he fell down he landed on a storage knife. A very sharp one. In his gut. He tried to stay quiet. Breathing shallowly, he laid back down. Okay, not good. He closed his eyes and just slowly breathed.

Kairi yawned as the sun streamed through the window, casting a golden glow over the storage room, her eyes opening slowly, squinting slightly against the light. She rolled over onto her back, so she was facing the ceiling, her breathing slow and steady. She was well rested, and it was now about...eight o'clock in the morning maybe? She sighed contently, and blinked a couple of times before sitting up and rubbing the feeling back into her arms.
Blood...
Her eyes widened, and she quickly turned her head to look down at Arty. Her face became pale at the sight of blood all over the floor and a storage knife sticking into Arthur's gut. She swallowed anxiously, her heart pace quickening. She slipped off the crate and landed silently beside him, grabbing some cloth from a nearby shelf, and carefully extracting the knife from his stomach, while trying to dogde the blood. She sighed, "Arty, could you perhaps try and be a little more careful. You're going to get yourself killed, and I won't be here to patch you up everytime," she said with a small grin, wrapping the cloth round his wound.

Arthur stood up, the sun shining on him revealing greasy, uneven hair, bags under his eyes and growing facial hair. He opened the door which required little effort, since he wasn't using his hands. He walked out of the room and walked down the corridor and sat down against the glass wall. He watched the sun slowly rise over the station. He motioned for Kari to come over to him and sit down.
He told her, "When I was in that rocket, I used my PDA to see the future. I saw.. my death.."
He looked over sideways to her with horror and madness raging through his eyes. "I traveled to the future last night after I had a distress signal from my PDA.. in the future. When I got there, it was too late.. I was dead."
"When I removed your.. weapons with my PDA, before.. It altered time. One of you were suppose to die by killing the other. That kid had his gun loaded." He paused.. "You were suppose to die."

Kairi's breath caught in her throat, she thought she was going to pass out. Her vision went blurry, and her already pale skin became even paler. She looked at him, out of the corner of her eye. Madness and horror was corsing through his body, but a stronger force was corsing through her's. She suddenly felt the need to shove a dagger through her heart, she wasn't suppost to be here right now, she was suppost to be gone, killed by the boy in the wheel chair. Anger and a terrible haunting fear travelled through her body. She turned her head to look at Arty, "Why did you alter time? Why didn't you just let me die, leave things like they were suppost to be?" she asked quietly, her gaze locked onto his.

He looked into her eyes. Then looked down.
"You saved my life, I saved yours. Being trapped under boxes nearly killed me. Plus, you don't deserve to die. You're too young." he said.
"I've seen the inside of your brain.. I can fix your eyes.. Do you want that?" he asked, looking up at her.
I can't get close to her emotionally, it'll tear her apart when I die. I must refuse any feelings I have for her. It'll only end in pain.

Kairi, leant her head back against the glass in thought, although she kept her eyes on him. She was suppost to be dead...It just wouldn't sink in, and she doubted that it ever would. And he'd saved her life by taking away her katanas, something she'd yelled at him for. She would never be able to forgive herself for that. "Thank you..." she said sincerely, looking away from his face, the sunight dancing in her violet eyes.
She couldn't help but smile slightly. Her eyes being able to see was a dream she had long since given up on, and here was Arty, offering her something she might not of ever experienced. She was going to say yes, but something stopped her. If she said yes, she'd lose the gift of her ability to see with vibrations, and that was a loss she never be able to bare. "Being able to see..." She paused, "Would be like a dream come true," She grinned at him, "But it wouldn't be me,"
She met his eyes again, but quickly looked away. He'd seen his own death...Did that mean...He was going to die soon? The thought was too bad to bare, so she pushed it away.

Arthur went back, to get the kid in the wheelchair.. He wasn't there1 Arthur forgot to take him out of the lift.. No harm done.
He walked over to the elevator with Kairi and after a sluggish awkward silence ride, he got out at the lower section sector A.
After then walking for what seemed hours, he reached for the door handle of the first room. He then dropped down still tired and fell asleep outside the door.

I had prepared the lessons, and was going to retire for the night, but I did what I had done since I had arrived at the station. I went for a walk. I didn't really know where I was going, and I didn't really care. Today, it would be a walk in the ring, and then maybe up to Level 15 where Kykherhenha and I would swim in the giant swimming pool. I couldn't believe I had said that. I didn't like swimming pools, but up here, in outer space, swimming in a natural body of water, like a lake, was out of the question. I wished the water wasn't so perefect... so artificial... and what about a few fish in there? I loved fish, and Kykherhenha...
Do you want to go back to Tereskadhar?she sent.
No... at least not until this is over. School would last a few more months before the children were sent home on vacation.
I took one of the passageways to the center, and pressed a button for the elevator. When I got in I was thinking of seeing Captain Dhantrel, but with the new visitors arriving, the Captain would be rather busy.
"Destination?" inquired the neutral voice in the elevator.
"Take your pick," I said.
"Destination?" the voice repeated.
Damn, I thought. "Take me someplace interesting." I knew that wasn't the right thing to say. "Take me to Level 15."
The elevator sped upward silently. I closed his eyes momentarily, but opened them when the elevator slowed down. It had only taken a brief moment to get to Level 15.
When I entered the room containing the swimming pool, I suddenly thought of the one who called himself Nick. I knew that wasn't his real name, and I wondered why he had given me a false name. Did he have something to hide? Of course he had something to hide.
Why are you thinking about him? Kykherhenha asked.
I don't know, but I have a feeling he's up to something.
Maybe you should talk to him.
Maybe the Captain should talk with him. I looked at the callbox next to the door. Hmmm, he thought, wondering if I should get involved in this. I was curious about this Nick... and the other one... the girl... "Attention please," I said into the callbox, "attention. Would the person who calls himself Nick please report to Level 15, Room 8... Level 15, Room 8. Thank you."
Now all I had to do was wait.

Arthur jumped up from his sleep, and ran down a few hallways, to an elevator. Inside it, he pressed the level 15 button and waited.
He jumped out of the elevator once it was at rest and flew a good meter before landing and breaking his ankle.
Ignoring the pain, he ran in to room eight. He was there. He sighed and bend down slightly from the pain. Goddamn that hurts., he sighed in his head.
"You rang?" he asked, cheerfully, wincing.

I wasn't sure if the one who called himself Nick would heed my message, but when I saw him enter Room 8 I was prepared. I didn't know what was wrong with him, but there was something that didn't sit right. Instinct told me to be wary.
Kykherhenha read my thought. Ask him where he's from.
That wasn't the first question that I had in mind, but it was one of them. I looked at my whistling dragon, sitting on her haunches at my side. She was staring at the young man before us, her streamlined, earless head rigid on her neck. I thought he heard a slight snarl escape from her throat, but I wasn't sure.
What was that?I sent.
What are you doing, Thekherham? she demanded. It's obvious he's got something to hide, so why are you standing here, waiting. Take him to Captain Dhantrel.
"I'd like to ask you one question," I said, ignoring my whistling dragon's concern. "No... make that two questions, and don't bother lying to me. First, what is your real name? Where are you from... and..." Damn, that was going to be three questions. "And what are you doing here?"
I stood there, on my toes like all Tereskadians, my tail curved up along my back, and waited for the truth.

Arthur sighed. He'd need to tell him the correct answers..
"My name is Arthur, I come from Earth, 2001 and I came here by accident."
Minimal but true. Arthur then fell over from his broken ankle, writhing in pain. Damn..
I'm going to wake him up so he can feel the pain.
Don't, really. I'm warning you.
Why not?
That's your ankle, you'll enjoy the pain.
God damn you. This is why I don't buy you Christmas cards. Ever.
Hahaha..
Man, what a conflict, he though. Then he closed his eyes.
