The being's power was peeking, the mental typhoon reaching apex. Bleed off of force would lash out, striking the ground and nearby chunks of mortar..crushing and smashing the thick material into dust. And still it gathers more. Nox was taking no chances. This 'Elf' would be a greasy stain afterwards. It was fate, and things just needed to play out accordingly. The gathering force worked against the hand holding it..pressing out against the digits of Nox's hand. With hardly an effort several smaller lashes extend from his wrist..wrapping about the fingers and the force contained within, adding more power to the grip. It was almost ready...almost time to end things.

The feint like attack of the opponent was easy enough to see through; though the opponent had hid himself quite well. The 'clone' gave off no thought vibrations, it was empty of life. A shell, a waste of effort. It would cost Nox nothing to destroy it..but why waste the time? It simply moved forward...so Nox just moved. Extending the gripping lashes in the ground, acting as stilts, Nox snapped upward, avoiding the blade..allowing his lashes to part so the construct can pass harmlessly between the two.

Separating from the mass below the street, leaving it dormant for now, Nox extends a lash from his back. The extended lash would hook into a nearby traffic post, anchor there, and let Nox hang. Now about ten feet above the ground, moved away from the elf in one fluid movement...Nox would resume gathering force. The Elf was foolish to come to this fight geared as such, bladed weapons were hardly a threat when they couldn't even get close enough to hit.

(OOC...yeah, and now you're gonna auto hit my Lash (which as stated is part of his body) that moved specifically out of the way? Right. Also, using your Gray Matter stuff would be spending it..not adding to it's prep. Would be like if you gathered force and kept spending it...it wouldn't gather at all, just stay at a level.

Im just gonna say this was a mistake, this fight ended months ago when you stopped posting without even bothering to PM me. I can see that this is going to just degenerate into a bickering spree again, so Im ending this. The fight is over, a draw, as neither of us scored a LEGAL hit. I'll ignore your attempted Auto and let it go.

I wish I could say this was a good fight, but I would be a liar. Space, you show potential...but you lack skill. Preps are full actions, a gathering of focus/power/whatever. Using that focus/power/whatever would drain the reserve...leading to a reset in Prep count. As you saw in my posts Nox never USED his mental powers, just charged them. Using them at all would reset the counter as it would expel the gathered power...think of Megaman's buster. You charge it, then fire...not fire while charging.

EDIT* Also, I never stated he read your thoughts, just felt the vibration of them. There would be brain activity...otherwise you're a veggie.
