*Things were not going well. Vicar's survey of the fight was limited as while the hit from the Acklay hadn't injured him, it had made him disoriented. Clearly the other men were having troubles against the creature, and Vicar got up and yelled to them:*

"That's it men, use your vibroblades! The underside is weaker!"

*Vicar joined his men in the fight, running up behind the Acklay and slashing it across the belly with his blade, a torrent of blood and some organs falling from the creature. It reared up and attempted to crush the warriors underfoot, but the combined sword strikes of three Mandalorians was too much for the Acklay. It died a ribboned and gory mess on the jungle floor, it's slayers each covered in the creature's fluids. Vicar began to laugh, loud and heartily.*

"Ha ha ha! Great job boys! No beast is a match for us! Hoorah!"

*He sat down on a fallen tree and sighed, removing his helmet and wiping Acklay goo off of it.*

"Alright men, take a few minutes. I'll radio the location we were heading for to command, and we'll head to the outpost in a few minutes. Enjoy your break."

*Vicar laughed again and began to contact the nearby Mandalorian outpost...*

Brulic held his bloodied sword high and cheered. He knelt down besides the beast and gave it a prayer of thanks for a worthy challenge which was common on his planet. If they could down a Acklay imagine what they could do to ill trained republic soldiers.Brulic walked over to Vicar and sat next to him.He also took off his helmet but he didnt clean it.He made designs from the creatures blood on his helmet and armor. It gave him a more menaing look.Another custom on his planet.

"Well that was a change"He said sitting back on a tree rubbing his hair.

Festivious did not celebrate as the others did. He looked down at his broken sniper blaster. You could not tell what he was feeling, but it almost seemed liked he was sad. Festivious snapped the blaster completely in half, and then sticking the broken componts in his combat webbing for some later use.

Festivious walked over to the tree were the other two were sitting. "The commotion will draw other carnivious creatures, and any Republic forces that made it down the gravity shoot, we should get going soon Rally Master Vicar," Festivious commented.

*Vicar had finished radioing the outpost and laughed at Brulic's comment.*

"Ha ha! Indeed it was rookie, indeed it was. Surely the Gods smile upon us today!"

*He gave the Mandalorian a hearty slap on the back, and took out a protein bar from his belt, snaking on it as the group caught its breath. He looked up at Festivous when he spoke.*

"A good observation friend, but you have a point. Hopefully those Republic troopers have become disoriented by the jungle canopy, this is our planet after all: we have the advantage. Regardless, the outpost told me that the first line of perimeter defense sensors has gone off, so they are preparing for an attack. We'll head back and resupply, get you a new blaster too."

*Vicar stood up and stretched before putting his helmet back on and motioning to the group to follow. Again the Mandalorians began to stalk through the jungle: quiet hunters stalking their prey...*

Brulic caught his secound wind.He put back on his helmet. He began covering rear,he re-equiped his assault rifle they might run across a lost band of republic dogs the range would be necessary to pull off a surprise attack. He moved quickly he looked around occasionaly the jungle would sure be the tipping side to the battle. He switched his assault rifle settings to single shots makeing sure that it wouldn't drain that much energy if they got caught in a fire fight.

"Im right behind you sir."Brulic said closeing the gap in the rear.

The DRK droid had been floating around the area, scanning teammates, small indigenous creatures that skittered along and the like. It returned to the side of the napping bounty hunter after a few minutes of silent, inactive beeping. Sleeping through the very diverse noises of Thetan creatures at night wasn't an easy thing to do, but Cyrus managed to remain in slumber until the droid beeped a few times next to his ear. Somewhat dazed, he recalled it's number plate. "Power down, DR-4." It exclaimed in various mechanical sounds. "Alright, alright. I might as well give you a job to do." Cyrus grabbed his datapad still half-asleep and typed in a few commands for the droid to switch to magnetic imaging in a 10 meter radius around the squad.

He noticed something else, though: the droid contained an audio file that had apparently been locked but was revealed by the slicing job done on it. Apparently it was a recording of a failed recon mission it accompanied someone else on. As Cyrus initiated a playback, a small green light emitted from the droid. *Sounds of a human cursing and spattering up blood* I apologize, master, but I must be brief. The Calamari had proved more resilient than we had previously thought. *Sharp war cries sound nearby* My death shall have take the place of your punishment.. *Pattering feet are heard* I have a captive here with me, but-- *Sudden silence, followed by what sounds like flesh being hacked away at. The sound fades into the distance as the recording continues* It automatically shut off. "A Sith base on this rock? Well, that isn't surprising." He sighed and layed his back against the tree. "This job is being a lot less successful than I thought it would be. Never trust others to do your job for you."

OOC:

Alright everyone, I'd like to make an announcement. I'm going to have to post it here, as I can't double post in the OOC, and you all need to see it. Luke recently contacted me and has informed me that he will be dropping out of the RP completely. I'd like to know what the rest of you think we should do, as Hoot has also not shown his face in the IC, so I assume he is out too. We can go with what we have so far, or do a reboot, it's really up to you all. With the loss of those two players, the current roster is thus:

Mandalorian Slots: 3/4
TheWalrus: Vicar Bralor, Rally Master
Aznmafia: Brulic Durge, Neo-Crusader
Conquerer_Man: Grutous Festivous, Neo-Crusader

Republic Slots: 2/5
Allonsus: Cyrus Odai, Bounty Hunter
Target: Talch'e, Jedi Knight

Force Sensitive Slots: 0/1

Jedi Slots: 1/1
Target: Talch'e, Jedi Knight

I'm not sure if a three on two fight is all that fair, but if you all want to continue where we are now, that's fine with me. Let me know what you all think in the OOC, and I will also copy this post to the OOC for reference. I really want some input on this situation, so the IC thread is on hiatus until we get things worked out. Thank you.

Cheers,
