Open-World Star Wars RP

This is an open-world RP, meaning there is no definite storyline. However, as the storyline progresses, a plot may develop. To join, sign up here: http://www.roleplaygateway.com/star-wars-t7224.html

The era is after the movies, but nothing from the books has happened. You may use book characters, but their storyline isn't there.

Now, to the rules...

1: Obey all forum rules. I don't want to have to throw anyone out, but I will if I must.
2: Include others! No one likes to be left out.
3: NO GODMODDING! NONE WHATSOEVER! No one likes a godmodder. -.-
4: Keep all relationships within respectable bounds. Romance is allowed, but nothing you wouldn't do in front of your mother. :P
5: HAVE FUN! I cannot stress this enough. A bored RPer is an unhappy RPer. An unhappy RPer is something we do not want! :D

His palm thrusted outward, striking the wooden post with a thud. Xaven was practicing his pressure point strikes. He brought his hand around, rotating his body into a spin kick. His boot struck the post with an even louder thud than his palm. He was in a training room of the local Mos Eisly martial arts center. There were some other beings around him, practicing with training posts like Xaven. Xaven got strange looks from various people, obviously because of his clothing, but Xaven was used to that by now.

Dyan's boots crunched through the undergrowth, disturbing many a creature. Some creatures, large enough to see him as prey, but after twenty-four years of seeing other, newer and ignorant creatures ahnialated by this curious beast they learned to give him wide berth. The man aimed down his sights at a young rancor, standing at about nine feet tall, he rested his DLT-19 upon a small boulder as he sighted in on its fore-head. The creature had probably drifted to the island, there were some full grown Rancors on Dyan's island, but they learned that this man could kill them easily and without trouble. He put the creature's head roughly in the center of his sights, and squeezed the trigger. Sending a hail of molten bolts into its cranium, killing it instantly. He then walked towards the body, and after sticking the DLT up its nostrils and squeezing a couple of times, he proceded to cut out all the useful things from its body. Meat, hide, and claws. He then hauled his loot back to his makeshift camp, which was once a Republic Supply Ship in the Clone Wars. His DLT, using the same cartridge of the DC-15A, the main weapon of the Republic in the wars, found that he was in no short supply of ammunition. The ship, roughly sealed air-tight, with the electronics working, served as his base of operations, after being Imperialized first. He made his own light armor and tents from Rancor Leather, and outfitted the gauntlets with the claws, he didn't have much need for casual clothing, for he did live in the derilect of a Republic supply ship, there were lots of fatigues for him to choose from. As he made his way back to the ship he looked out over a hill, seeing the beautiful waters and islands, littered by the wrecks of many ships. As he approached his home, he looked into the sky, seeing the planet's two moons, and he could've swore he saw a ship. But that was probably just his imagination, twenty four years tends to make one get their hopes up. "Probably nothing." He said to no one... no one on the entire island but him, and no way of getting to another. How ironic it was, he was surronded by ships, but he couldn't leave. He sighed, and strode into his home, shutting the airlock behind him. He then layed his loot on the table and his food in the storage area. He then made his way to, what was now his, but was the captain's quarters, and before sprawling out on his bunk, walking over to a note-pad and marking another line on it. "What is it now?... Twenty four years?" he asked himself, slightly unsure, then made his way to his bunk, saying, "I'm getting too old for this."

With one strong swipe from Dessan's blade removed the head of his apprentice. The body fell over twitching.

"I have no time to spare on the weak."-Dessan said as he put his lightsaber hilt back on his belt.

Dessan walked out the training room of his old star destroyer named "Furex".Some clonetroopers looked at him while he walked threw the dark corridors. One of the imperial captains walked up to him and saluted.

"Sir we have arrived to Lillium, the locals said the ruins of a jedi temple were in the "Forset of Mikar" the local ithorians call it the forest of death because noone returns from it and the beast are extremely dangerious.

"What is the terrain of the planet captain?"-Dessan asked in a sturdy voice.

"Mainly forest the north tip is tundra lands."

"I'll go myself keep the ship in orbit."-Dessan said approaching the shuttle sector.

"Yes sir"-the captain said saluting the Dark Lord.

As Dyans lay there on his bunk, staring at the blank white ceiling, he eventually drifted off to sleep. His dreams were many in that small elapsation of time, but only one he distinctly remembered when he awoke...

"TCK - 429645, do you copy?"
Dyans blinked, his vision in a wet haze.
"I repeat, TCK - 429645, do you copy?"
His vision began to clear, he saw his visor, not much besides that, just the canopy above him, he could see flecks of dirt flying around above him, a stray laser or two...
"TCK - 426945 come in! Dyans where the hell are you!?!"
Dyans then struggled to answer, but he couldn't, he was exhausted, so thirsty... he stuggled to sit up, he was so tired... Where am I? he asked himself.
"Leave him! He's dead!"
"No, he's alive! I know he's alive!"
"He's dead!"
"Here are his vital signs, I know he's alive!"
"We can't endanger the entire Battalion for one man, leave him!"
He could hear two voices arguing over the comm... about him, they were leaving! He could leave with them, he struggled to say, "I-i-'m here." His voice cracked and dry.
"Dyans, come on man!"
He then got to his feet and started to run in the direction he thought was the beach... the only place big enough for a ship to land. "W-h-w-h-here are you?..."
"Come on were on the beach, you have three minutes to get here! Come on!"
He started to run... there was artillerey and bolts flying, he was knocked over by the concussion of one,and he lay there for about thirty seconds, asking, "P-p-please! Don't l-l-leave me!"
"I'm not man... I wont! I'm your buddy, I'm your true freind I will never let you down, now come on!"
Dyans struggled to his feet and ran, he ran and ran. He finally made it to the beach. About eighty yards away lay the transport, engines ready to go.
"Come on! You have thirty seconds!" The ship then began to lift off, the ramp loading up.
He ran, lopsided, yelling, "No! No!" His armor, so stained with grass and mud, looked as a rebel to them, as they began to fir on him, he then took off his helmet, showing them that it was him. The ship began to lift off...
"Give me that comm!"
There then was much fumbling on the other side of the comm,
"Son, your sacrifice will not be in vain."
The ship then started to speed away, still firing at him. He picked up a large leaf, then waving it, yelling, "NO! NO! WHY ARE YOU LEAVING! I'M RIGHT HERE! WHY!?! WHY?!? NO!" then as Rebels came out of the trees they surrouned him, as he watched the ship speed out of the atmosphere. He began to cry, he looked at the beautiful beach, then at the men and women around him, and he asked through sobs, "Why? Why did they leave?..."

He then jarred awake, discovering that he had been crying in his sleep. Nightmares... he thought to himself as he made his way to the mess hall, stumach growling.

Cei was awoken from her slumber by the nagging beeps of her droid. Her eyes slowly fluttered open as she looked over to the astromech droid who had woken her up. Her brow arched slightly as she shifted her position in the chair she had fallen asleep in, stretching her arms a bit.

"What is it, Quirk?" She asked the droid as it brought up something that was malfuctioning on the ship on her display. Cei let out an irritated sigh. "I just fixed that a week ago. That's the last time I'm buying parts from Wargo." She slipped out of her chair and headed to the pilot's seat, grumbling the whole time about the lack of quality Wargo's stuff had. The little astromech droid followed along as always, setting itself next to her as she took control of the ship.

"Alright Quirk, we're going to have to make an emergency landing to fix the part. Grab the coordinates of the nearest planet, will ya?" It was a few moments before the droid brought up the coords and a visual of the nearest planet, Cei blinking her eyes in surprise. "Are you sure I can even land there, Quirk?" The droid beeped at her, irritated that she would question it. "Alright, alright. Calm down, jeez. But if I crash the ship it's your fault," She said to the droid with a bit of a playful smile.

It wasn't too long before she reached their destination. She tried to find the best island to land on and was finally grounded after a bit of a rough landing. "Quirk, grab the tool kit while I grab the weapons and meet me outside." She grabbed her vibroblade and heavy pistol before stepping outside. Quirk was waiting out there for her, strolling along to the part of the ship that needed the emergency matinence. Cei was careful as she followed him along, her yellow eyes constantly glancing around her. She was definately unfamiliar with this planet and had no idea what sort of wildlife was here. "Alright Quirk, keep a watchout while I try and fix this," Cei ordered the droid as she grabbed a tool from the kit and started to repair the ship.
It's not always that easy to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys. Sinners can surprise you
and the same is true for saints. Why do we try to define people as simply good or simply evil? Because
no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart.
And that anyone is capable of anything.

Dyans was tearing through a Rancor chop when he heard the Proximity alarm go off. The only part of the original ship that he made sure to keep running. Something was coming down to the planet, on his island, it couldn't be a space rock... the alarm wouldn't go off unless biological life was dectected on it. He gatherd his weaponry and set out through the Jungle... ready to see what this new thing was.
When he finally made it to the beach, he set up in thick foliage, his dirty armor making excellant camoflague. He aimed his DLT at the ship, which was pretty nice, space-worthy it seemed. He was only about ten meters distance from the craft. It was a corellian ship, it could carry a good bit of cargo... Good. he thought as he watched the loading ramp descend, and a female Twi'lek emerged from the craft, armed. Hell... it might be pirates... He then watched at she started what seemed to be repairs on the ship. He lined her up in his sights, and then, purposefully(sp?) cocked his rifle loudly. He sat at the ready to attack...

She had only just started the repairs needed when she first sensed something was up. Then she heard the cock of the rifle. Quirk had started to whine, scared of the possibility of a monster out there. "Don't be silly, Quirk. Monsters don't use guns." She told the droid with a roll of her eyes. She slowly pulled her hand away from the ship and turned around to face the forest surrounding the beach. Cei held her hands up in a defensive manner. "Whoever is out there, I'm just here to fix my ship. No need to shoot me, I'll be outta here soon enough." She explained to whoever or whatever was hiding out in the brush, her eyes searching for where she heard the rifle. She could feel the presence of another sentient being but was too far away to pick up on their surface thoughts.

Dyans watched her face the forest, and eventually where he was, though she probably didn't notice him, he then asked in the signature Stormtrooper speaker voice, "Rebel?" Still keeping her in his sights, ready for if she tried anything.

Kaedai walked through the halls of the enclave. They had a peculiar architecture design not found in many Enclaves, but he liked it. Passing one of the training, rooms, Kaedai spotted the Younglings hard at work. Smiling, he stopped and watched for awhile. They struck at each other with the training blades, learning the grace and dexterity of the Jedi. One noticed him and smiled, quickly turning back to block an attack. Kaedai smiled more and left the Younglings to their work. He made it a personal point to get to know the inhabitants of the Enclave, and to be on friendly terms with them. Walking through another hallway, Kaedai came upon what he called the "Overlook", and for good reason. This ledge overlooked the main training area. Throughout the entire arena-like enclosure, Jedi of all ranks clashed training swords, weakened lightsabers, and hands in an almost never-ending display of finesse and power. Blue and cyan flashed every other second, and there were grunts and yells from around the room. There was no ceiling, weak kinetic barriers covered the open area which kept out rain, but allowed wind to pass. It was something of a personal touch. He had suggested it to the architects during the planning of the massive complex. It was situated on a planet near Coruscant, named Itheria. Almost exactly like his home planet of Dantooine, it was the perfect place to situate the main Jedi Enclave. Many called it the Great Temple, and the name had stuck so far.

"Rebel?"

A brow was arched in curosity as she heard the voice. A Stormtrooper? What was one doing all the way out here? Or anywhere for that matter? Keeping her questions to herself for now, she lowered her arms, though making it obvious she wasn't reaching for a gun. "Look guy, I'm not a Rebel or nothing. Just delievering some supplies to Coruscant." She said with a shrug of her shoulders. "Either stop hiding or leave me alone. I got a deadline to stick to." She told him, partially bluffing. She didn't have a real deadline but she knew the dealer she was smuggling glitterstim to didn't like it when she was late.

Dyans then stood, holding his DLT at the ready, asking, "Can you carry a bit of extra cargo?" It had ben so long since he had spoken to anyone... even an enemy... he killed the last Rebel on the island about twenty years ago... He prayed that she could accomadate him, at least to some inhabited planet.

As soon as he stood, her pale yellow eyes immediately focused on him. So that's where he had been hiding, she quietly thought to herself. She glanced briefly down to Quirk, who was continuing it's whining, then looked back to the man. "If you don't shoot me I can take you to Coruscant with me. I can't make any more stops along the way," She offered him. She didn't like the idea of this man being on board of her ship but she would rather have a strange passenger than a laser to the head.

Dyans stood, frozen in surprise... She wouldn't only take him to a safe haven... but his home. Home... he thought to himself as he slowly lowered his rifle, asking, "T-t-to Corscant?" He then thought of how he would get his things...

"Yes, to Coruscant," Cei repeated herself. She could sense that he had a connection to her destination. It was ... his home? She blinked in surprise, wondering how he managed to end up all the way out here and stranded. Her body relaxed slightly as she saw him lower the weapon. Turning back around, she continued with her repairs to her ship. "If you plan on coming, I suggest you gather up your stuff. This shouldn't take more than a half hour or so."

Kaedai walked into his private quarters to find a message waiting for him on his computer. He sat down and opened up the blinking transmission. It was one of the other Masters, one of the one's stationed in Coruscant. "Master Kaedai, the Council requests that you travel to Coruscant right away. We may have a...situation brewing." The Master went off-screen for a second, then returned. "Come with all due haste, Master." With that, the message cut out. 'Coruscant, eh?' Kaedai thought. Nice place, but it was too crowded to be comfortable. He exited his room a few minutes later with nothing but a black cloak and headed for the hangar. He entered to find his ship, the Revanant Dawn, located just where he left it a few weeks ago. It was a new-age fighter designed for the Jedi reflexes and force-connection. He climbed the exterior and entered the cocpit, powering the small ship on. The engines hummed to life and the craft slowly rose off the floor. The on-board droid powered on and gave a few beeps to signal this. "Good, glad to have you along." Kaedai smiled as the droid beeped again. "Yes, T-9, we are going to Coruscant. How do you know that?" It beeped several times again. "Oh, right. You're hooked up to my terminal." He smiled again. "I knew that..." With that, Kaedai pushed the thrusters to full and exited the hangar. He made for the outer limits of the gravity well, where a hyperdrive linkup was waiting. It was similar to the old Jedi fighters used during the CLone Wars, but much more advanced. He linked up and put in the coordinates for the Temple on Coruscant. It sent back a few lines of text confirming the target, and he disappeared into hyperdrive.

Dyans then stood there for a moment, not saying anything, then, his head shooting up, he said, "I'll be right back! Please don't leave without me!" He then tore off through the jungle, getting to his base.
When he finally reached the old Freighter he immediatley ran inside, gathering all of his old equipment, and then he took his notepad, where he had recorded his time spent there, and he left the ship. Hopefully for the last time. As he reached the Twi'lek's ship, he had only taken about twenty minutes to get his things and get back. He quickly asked impatiently, "Are you finished yet?" He stood with his oversized backpack and all of his weaponry.

Cei didn't have to read his mind to be able to see how desperate this guy was to get off this planet. As he ran off into the jungle, she quietly wondered how long he had been stranded here. She didn't know too much about Stormtroopers and she wondered what had been wanted with a planet like this. She was sure such questions would be inappropriate to ask so she would try her best to not ask unless he brought it up first.

She was just about done when she heard him running back through the forst and glanced over to him when he posed the question. The Twi'lek only smirked at him as she started on the last few repairs. "Almost. Quirk, go escort our new passenger and make sure he's comfortable." She briefly made eye contact with the human then looked back up to her work. The astromech strolled over to where Dyans was standing, bleeping at him before he led him into the ship. Once inside, Quirk lead him to one of the empty room, bleeping at him again.

Dyans followed the Astromech with enthusiasm, ready to be rid of the planet. Once the small droid led him to an empty room, upon which reaching, the small droid bleeped at him. Dyans then turned to the small device and said, "Thank you..." Not really expecting a response, he then sat down his pack, then his rifle, though he kept his SE-14 in its holster on his belt. He looked around the sparse cabin, though not much to look at by anyone from any other planet, but to Dyans, it was beautiful... wonderful really. He then made his way to the bath room, upon which reaching, he removed his helmet, revealing his face in the mirror, without many wrinkles, but yet his hair was very grey, he looked at his scruffy hair and beard. Her then closed the door, and took a bath, the first warm one he had had in many years. Once he was done, he donned his armor, yet left his helmet off, carrying it with him, back towards his new cabin.

When Quirk was thanked, the driod bleeped at the man again before turning and strolling away. It 'muttered' to itself while it made it's way back to the bridge. A few minutes later she joined the droid and sat down in her seat. With the help of her droid, it only took her a couple of minutes to get the ship prepard and a few more to get them back into space and back on track to their destination. Leaning back in her seat, she glanced over to Quirk, telling him in Bocce to make sure the passenger didn't go near their illegal shipment. The droid beeped in compliance and strolled off to guard over the glitterstim, leaving Cei alone for now.
