Avella. Is Neace the name of the county or city that houses the Renwalds?

What's the approximate population and setting of the place?

Where's its general location in Pandora?

The Renwald estates are located just outside the City of Redbridge in the county of Neace. Redbridge is located approximately 65 miles or 80 klm (about two+ days travel by carriage, depending on road conditions) southwest of the capitol city of Olympus and boasts a population of 3500+. Redbridge is supported primarily by farming and trade and has its own volunteer militia numbering around 600. This militia is made up of sword, pike and archers. In addition, it has 100 full-time, peace keepers who patrol the roads and surrounding lands, keeping highwaymen and other misfits in check. There is one small Church of the New Religion just outside the city limits, but has very few followers as the majority of citizens still practice the old ways due to their close connection with the land. Most of the people work, in one capacity or another, for House Renwald; be it as House Staff or on the farms.

The topography of County Neace is gently rolling hills of open grasslands and farms. There are several large, thickly forested areas to the north of the city where one can find an abundance of deer, elk, boar and other wild creatures. The forests are popular hunting sites for visitors and guests of House Renwald, but the locals shun them as being haunted. A river; the “Senunault,” or “Quiet Waters” flows from north to south and cuts through two of the Renwald estates. It then turns southwest and passes close to the city. The river is not wide, but it is deep and slow moving along most of its course. There are several sections within the forested areas where the river descends from the northern hills and these sections of the river are fast moving with a number of waterfalls and rapids. These hidden waterfalls are considered sacred to the locals and there are many myths and legends surrounding them. There are also several sacred wells scattered throughout the county. The locals occasionally visit these wells to ask various deities for boons or favors.

There is one main road connecting Redbridge with the Capitol, The King’s Road, which is maintained by the various villages, hamlets and towns scattered along its route. During peacetime the road is patrolled by the Kings Men who police its entire length. In times of hard winters the road is often impassible.

Morgana has an Aunt (her mother’s sister) and an Uncle who live in the Capitol. Her uncle is a respected banker and her Aunt a well know seamstress/dress maker. They are:

Morgana also has a trusted overseer who runs the estates when she is traveling. He has been with House Renwald for many years and his loyalty is unquestioned. His name is:

Her two handmaidens, who accompany her everywhere, are the younger daughters of city officials. They are:

Bernadette (age 15)

Are your uncle and his wife sworn to Olympus and the King or do they still serve under House Renwald?

Also, I changed the position of Redbridge to north-west of Olympus. Olympus is right up against the coast in the south-west, so there isn't any land to the south-west of it. If you were to the north-west you could be in those hilly fields just south of the forests where Lanchester and other provinces lie. Sound fine?

Well, as citizens of Olympus I would imagine they are sworn to the King and Kingdom. Her uncle is not a Lord but was born in Olympus and later married Morgana's aunt who moved there to live. They do not serve House Renwald, but Morgana is going there to both take part in the upcoming festivities and to seek financal advice from her uncle.

Excellent. Added a map, updated all of the city and house information. Check it out and let me know what you think. I'll be editing all this stuff like crazy as we shape the characters and the world. But for now... this should be a nice jumping off point.

I just wanted to let it slide that I am very peculiar in my habits. I also may get swamped down because life had tended to be extremely busy for me lately, but I won't just up and disappear without warning.

Edits, Edits everywhere: Yeah, perhaps don't expect the character that soon. It's been a while sense I created one and I'm a bit rusty. I was thinking of a war hero for one of the Houses (Hell if I know which one yet) who was once a merc-for-hire in Axiom. Call of duty, sense of right, and all that jazz caused him to pledge to one of the houses, etc, etc... Yeah, this is a really, really rough idea... So I think the question is, who wants to buddy up with him?

You could register for some of the tournaments at the festival. I think we'll all be meeting each other there through different means.

Of course he was going to participate in some of the tournaments! What kind of soldier would he be if he didn't?

Now, I just need to find a faction to stick him with... I was thinking Hawke because, hey, that sounds like a good as a place as any. Now, I just need to know how to rank him...

Those edits sound fine to me. Oh, I posted a Coat of Arms for House Renwald on her profile. Can't wait to see the map. :)

You could be a part of the city guard, or more of a private guard to a particular member of the House. You could be assigned as personal protector to either myself or my sister, or even Dorian. Or you could be more attached to city-side protection.

Fair warning though, things are about to shake up for Draiken and the rest of House Hawke. :)

Well hell, now you're just sweetening the deal. Right then, so how about my war hero was part of the Hawke army, did something cool in the battle for Edgebrook, and is now accompanying Draiken to the festival?

Sounds good. We'll say that your deeds during the war netted you a promotion. You are one of thirteen in Lord Hawke's private militia entitled the "Silver Hawke's". You'll be accompanying Draiken, Dorian, and some other militiamen out hunting tomorrow to celebrate Lord Hawke's return as well as traveling with the royal company to the festival. I'll let you decide exactly whatever your heroic deed was in the battle for Edgebrook. That particular battle was 7 years ago.

I plan on creating a character but i wont have it sent to you for several more hours. as i come up with detail and specifics for him i will update you

I sent in a character...hope you don't mind, I took "Fearlessly creative" To the extreme.
I made a Ranger type character along with a corp of rangers to give him background, and I tried to make them as mysterious and uninterested in Pandora's politics as I could to keep from stepping on your toes XD
