heres the rules/idea of the thread:
"This thread will be a player driven RP based on Superheroes, as they respond to the plots and events around them. The idea is for the players to work together as a group, although they may separate should the need arise. also, as is customary, no godmodding will be permitted. This includes: Determining another players actions, Killing another player without their consent, or knowing a player's character's personal information without discussing the backstory between yours and the other players character first."

Could be interesting, does have some potential. However, with a superhero RPG you'd need some sort of plot. Even if it was just a common foe. Personally, I think without at least that you'd only get people making a beginning post and that's about it. On the flip side if you gave it a good setting like its a dingy city, and crime is everywhere it might work. But as I understand it from your description (which I fully understand, don't doubt yourself already ) throwing a whole lot of superheros into a city with nothing to do may not totally work. I am sooooooooooo sorry if I sound like a jerk but yeah, that's my opinion.

oh. no. heh. ofc its going to have a plot. but ofc that'll flow like everything else. and ofc its gonna be a crime infested city. ill probably start off with a fight scene introducing my hero and his villain or somthing. give us a big 8-9 ft monster to tackle together or somthing. and btw. i thought you sounded very polite about your comment .

Also, it would be good if we had the choice to be supervillain. But I personally think not having much plot would work well with a superhero RP. It's one of those things that people can create a story for by themselves if they're given enough time.

hmmm... i guess that could work. although it'd be a little more complicated and could potentailly cause a little friction in deciding whats gonna happen. so it'd have to be a flexible villain ^^. but i could see that working. perhaps have a seperate villains RP thread using the same style? but i can relate to wanting to be a villain ^^. its definatly funner at times.

I'm not completely sure if I would be a villain but from experience it's been more fun usually when actual people played the villains. It's also fun being the villain accomplice sometimes. I know in one RP I was a villain accomplice and it was pretty fun...'til the RP died. But my character would probably unintentionally be evil and possibly become good at some point. It depends how others treat him. Maybe he'd stick with evil. Or maybe you'll decide not to have people be villains. Please not the last suggestion.

well. perhaps. but as i say the villain would have to be more flexible and patiant as he would inevitably be playing a lesser role in the story and wouldn't appear as mutch. although maybe it would be exciting to see what the villains do whilst the heroes wern't there etc. but at the start i wouldn't want anything too savere. i think iv got an idea for the first villain our heroes could face. heh. so would you be down for this idea anyway ultmiate?

Yeah, even if I couldn't be a villain I'd probably still join. As long as you don't limit things too much. I have a feeling you won't but I'm just saying that anyway. I have a feeling a lot of people will join 'cause superhero things seem pretty popular usually.

Appearance: An Athletic Build. always wears a white hood and white baggy cloth shirt with white bandages covering his hands. Similer style trousers with a white belt and white bandages round his feet. (very white ^^)



Background: Swallow was once part of the CIA with his two brothers, Swiftfleet and Falcon, they faught together with thier expert knowledge of varying martial arts however due to his wrecklessness Falcon was forced to leave the CIA. however when Swallow and Swiftfleet heard that thier brother was no longer allowed to be with the CIA they fled and ran through the city trying to hunt down thier brother. when they found him he rejected thier company for thier lack of loyalty under the belief that if they had been there he might not of been kicked out. Now alone Falcon became corrupt and ever more violent whilst Swallow and Swiftfleet made a hidout and ran from the CIA who were hunting them down. (sorry. was trying to keep it short but. its kind of a story of three people. hard to write a story about three people and keep it short ^^)

Allison left home when she was eighteen, and married at nineteen to her long-term boyfriend after she found out she was pregnant. When she was 23, they divorced, and Allison only ever sees her daughter on the weekends. Allison discovered her power when she was ten, but rarely uses it. She's determined to make the city the right place for her daughter to grow up in.

well... i'd rather you just stick to 1-3 charecters. but its alot easier with 1 charecter. but they could be from the metahuman taskforce command. although i am at this point wondering what that is ^^

[FN MK3 Reactive Multi-Role Combat Armor]
The latest from the FN arms co., this drab olive armor is made of 6mm Carbon-Nanocell Plating over a thermal and atmospheric sealed bodysuit. The bodysuit is overlaid with gel packs that harden on impact with high velocity objects, proving a high standard of armor with a maximum of mobility. The helmet is a wide visored, form fitting, full head helmet, with a standard open combat helmet overlaid on the top for headshot resistance. It contains a advanced HUD/targeting system and a self contained atmospheric filter. Also included in the suit are a sound dampener and active stealth unit.

This drab olive backpack contains a variety of munitions, ranging from spare clips to C4 packs.

Appearance:
Owen stands 6'5", and his appearance is hidden beneath his sleek suit of powered armor. He wears a bleached white sleeveless trenchcoat over his armor.

Weapons:

Owen's weapon's depend on the situation, although he carries a sidearm around with him most of the time.

[MTC "Peacekeeper" PDW-M8 Handgun]


This sidearm is the standard issue for MTC forces, along with the MAWS(Modular Assault Weapon System. The Peacekeeper is a Delayed Blowback pistol with a 14+1 clip and a LTS(Laser Targeting Sight) mounted to the underside of of the gun. The whole gun is made from high-grade Carbon Nanocells and Titanium, making for a rugged and hard to damage service model. On top of the pistol is an attachment rail, allowing a variety of devices to be mounted on top of it.

Bio:
Owen was born in the District of Columbia, and was the adopted son of a senator who was killed by a rebel Metahuman when Owen was young, leading to his disgust at them. He joined the military at the age of 18, and was soon transferred to the MTC when his Genetic-Engineering had finally reached it's full potential. To this day he leads his squad for the good of humanity, over the impure metahumans.

hmm. i see... well... perhaps. but i wouldn't want the npc's there all the time. perhaps as backup or somthing. so. yeah but as long as the NPC's wern't there all the time. there'll be parts of the story where they may not fit in. for example a small room ^^.
