From the early 1930s to the mid 1940s, Jews, homosexuals, Russians, Gypsies, those ill and can not be cured, and many more people were killed. They were killed because of an evil man, Adolf Hitler, had a deep, deep hatred towards them, and his hatred spread to other people. He spread his lies all over Germany about the Jews and how they were the worst of man kind his lies made it seem they weren't even human. His lies made them seem like animals, no, not even animals, worse than that. Soon his lies had become "Scientific Proof" that these people did not deserve to live, and so what do the German's do under Der Fuhrer ("The Leader"). They listen to him, and those who don't automatically go down to the same level as the Jewish people and die right along side them. Hitler is arguably the most evil person to have ever existed, and ANYONE glorifying him out of character will be kicked out of the RP instantly.

However, Hitler is not acting alone in this genocide. His secret police, The SS, act on his order, and most of them enjoy it, they enjoy killing the Jews! They are at the work camps and at the death camps and they want to be there. Most of these people are as guilty as Adolf Hitler is.

Now you have to understand this. The Germany, and the rest of Europe for that matter, did not hate the Jew because they were there. They hated the Jews because Hitler needed to Scapegoat and the Jews were already not liked for various reasons. I AM NOT GLORIFYING HITLER! I am just informing you all that Hitler took Germany's initial dislike towards the Jews and all the other unwantables and picked at it and picked at it and finally. It became a full-scale genocide. That is the basic sum up, it is a lot more complicated but that is the sum-up.((If there is something I forgot please bring it to my attention.))

Short Bio: Gideon thought that hiding in the actual mattress was a good hiding spot. He was right until he had to move when a young SS officer was in the room. The SS Shot at the mattress and missed, that was his last bullet so he dug into the mattress and pulled Gideon out. Seeing that this kid was roughly around the same age as himself he let him go. If Gideon had been discovered by ANY other SS officer it would have meant certain death. He finds it ironic how his God would perform such a miracle in a time of terror and crisis.
Personality: He is shy and timid, but will speak when spoken too and work when asked to work. Anything to survive.

I would LOVE to join this RP...though I have a clear understanding that in this RP there is no such thing as symphaty or human feelings amongst the Germans towards the Jews/other races. I am bringing a Real Life SS Officer to life for this RP, if you know about him great, if not expect to hear some rather...nasty things that he will do.

Name: Doctor Josef 'Death Angel' Mengele
Age: 32 years old.
Position: SS Officer, and Doctor for the Concentration Camp (actually he is more of a 'Mad Scientist' than Doctor)
Short Bio:
Josef was born in a Catholic German family as the oldest son, but there was never shown much love for him from his parents and he had to fight against his brothers to prove to his parents that he was better than the rest of them and to be acknowledged by them, and Josef often had the big dream that he would mark himself into the history books as a 'Great Man of Science' and he often told his friends that one day they would read about him in the encyclopedia books.

Josef studied hard, and was very interested in Science (especially the Biology part, along with the Chemistry) he received excellent grades, went to a great university and passed with most satisfying grades, though in the beginning of the 1930s when the Nazis was beginning to gain more power in Germany, Josef quickly chose side between the different political parties and was soon a Nazi. Later in 1937, he volunteered for the Nazi party NSDAP, and later he was accepted as an SS and with Josef's amazing grades he was soon promoted to SS-Officer.

In the spring, 1943, Josef Mengele was send to the Eastern Front and was awarded the Iron Cross for his bravery and the following months he moved into Poltulice and was greeted with great respect by the other SS men, where he saw the perfect opportunity for 'curing' the pest that Nazi ideology had about a 'perfect clean race'...with all these prisoners, which would die sooner or later, he would look for a 'antidote' against all the 'uncleanness' that other ethnic races had which 'spoiled the world'.
Before anyone knew it, Mengele was nearly always working on his experiments on the prisoners, he wrote reports in masses, and soon got small dark rings around his eyes as he was far too captivated with his life work

Personality:
Josef is kind of shy in public, he likes to stay in the background of events, except for when he is the one making the presentation to the people then he becomes active, enthusiastic and lively.
As a doctor of the Camp he is to do "Die Selektion" ('The Selection') however, ulike most doctors who drink themselves drunk when becoming the master of life and death, Josef volunteers to do 'Die Selektion' with great enthusiasm and he even picks people who are to become his next experimental victim during these events.
Besides that he is like any other SS man...cold, hard, and only sees the Jews as a pest for the 'better future of the German world'. He does however take advantage over the Jews, and prisoners, using them as slaves for some jobs, like cleaning (both his house which is a few meters away from the camp and in his laboratory), cooking, and if he have had a bad day he takes his anger out on his slave workers.

Josf drink a little alcohol, but never too much as he still wants to be able to remember important idea that he is constantly thinking about.

If there is anyone who wants to be a good SS German (at least I think the man is an SS guy...I'll check it later) who saves lives, they can play Oskar Schindler. Of course, it is up to the GM to decide whether he/she wants Oskar Schindler to be a part of the RP at all.

Short Bio: She is not actually a Jew, her grandfather was. Her father had built a hole in the wall that was big enough for herself and her mother. However, when she returned home one day, both of her parents were gone, and the house was destroyed. She cried for awhile, before realizing she was hungry, and off she went to find food. And her parents. She got captured and was taken to the same camp where her parents were, but found out they had been instantly killed. ((If we aren't playing them in the camp, then she is just on the streets, always searching for food.))
Personality: She is innocent, shy and cute. She hates the Nazi's with a passion, and is always searching for a way to get out. (if we aren't playing that they are captured, then she is always planning to find a way to hurt them))

Short Bio: Ellen was born on July 3rd to Peter and Elizabeth Shantam. Both of her parents were Jewish and Ellen was raised as one as well. She was the oldest of two children but her younger brother passed away a month after he was born from influenza. Her father worked at a factory and her mother stayed at home, cooking and cleaning. Elizabeth got an education that was fairly well but was Hitler came into power she was immediatly taken out of school and her and her family went into hiding. They lived in the woods near their house, sleeping in small tents that blended in well at night but one of their Christian neighbors told the police about them hiding out. Ellen's parents were both shot infront of her own eyes and then Ellen was brought to this concentration camp.
Personality: Ellen is an intelligent girl. Before Hilter came into power she was an outgoing and polite girl who made friends quickly but now at the concentration camp she has become much more quiet and timid. She works for Doctor Josef during some days and easily takes orders from him because she is scared.
Appearance: Ellen is very petite, standing at only five feet and at the moment she weighs about 88 lbs. Ellen has curly brown hair which used to be radiant and bouncy but has become much thinner because of the lack of food and water. She has chocolate colored eyes, pale skin and is very boney looking.

This is exactly the sort of roleplay I've been scouting the Internet in search of. I hate to sound like a powerplayer, but would it be possible to play as a Minister of Propaganda? I just figured I should ask before posting a biography.

Uh, could you explain what that is first? For those who don't know what it is...including me I have an idea but I'm not positive.

He is referring to one of the SS officers during WWII, whose job was to give the masses Propaganda and make them believe that Hitler was the best, and making more men join the army, etc.

If you want to I guess, but it is going to be hard to involve you in the RP then.

True; the only possible way I can imagine coming into play would simply be to have my character assist in broadcasting said messages, controlling him as a SS Officer for the bulk of the roleplay.
