I have to recreate all the damn threads since I am unable to edit them. >.<
We have old characters still interested, therefore they will have seniority,
but we are welcoming new profiles as well.

for that was the way of the Gods, he struck down Lord Varian and

The Story- 'Abandon Thy Love'
The winds have changed, I can feel it. Soft sunsets and quiet forests seem to hide from all of Firithia the knowledge of what faces us, so quickly ahead. The shadows reach out, the darkness in all things remained dormant for so long. It was waiting. And when it is finally time for the last battle between good and evil, they will not fall with ease.
It began with two star-crossed lovers: the mysterious Lord Varian and the beautiful Lady Elizabeth. And as the story tells, they indeed fell in love. However, there was no happy ending. The Lord spent hours on end conjuring up every possible way to gain more power within the small Elven kingdom he ruled over; after all, he had an eternity to gain it thankfully to his Elvish nature. But the Human Elizabeth yearned for attention, slowly coming to realize that she had not the seemingly everlasting life Varian had.
In a quiet grove on a summer afternoon, Varian asked Elizabeth to marry him, and without hesitation she agreed. But it was not until the day before the grand wedding did Lord Varian receive a letter from his Lady. As the tale goes she left Lord Varian, having fallen in love with another man: a human who could spend the rest of his days with the Lady, and in this decision she was truly happy. But Lord Varian was distraught, becoming angry and twisted. Why should he suffer the intolerance of Human fools? He sought harder than ever for power, control, and strength, using forbidden ways to extend what magic arts he had. And at last the divinity that made him an Elf turned him towards the darkness.
His people felt The Lords pain, his vile anguish cast down upon them. They were tortured and imbued with evil arts, and finally turned with him. Their fair skin turned dark and cold, and what was once the face of beauty became the face of eternal sufferance. Thus was bred the race of the Huine. Known in common speak as the “Dark Elves”. The small beautiful city Lord Varian once ruled turned corrupted and was lost, becoming in its place a stronghold in a wicked wasteland. In his anguish, Lord Varian forged in silence a masterful sword, and in it he sealed his malice, his cruelty, and his life blood. He called this weapon the Sword of Awarthiel: in elvish, meaning ‘The Abandoned’, as even in this unnatural abomination, he could not forgive his love.
Using the weapon imbued with unforgiving magic, and using the unlikely alliance between the Dark Elves and the Orcs, he moved forward to destroy the grand cities of Old…and did so with success. In his power he became a Demi-God: ruler of the free lands, and destroyer of the worlds. It was only than the God’s intervened, and the tale tells of a grand battle between a dragon of pure light, and Varian himself. Some would say that it was not the God’s, but a hero. (The truth of which is unknown.) Regardless of who, Varian was cast down and banished to the outer realms of hell itself where he was to wander in eternal darkness forever.
When Varian fell the sword of Awarthiel shattered, and his army of Dark Elves and Orcs fell to ash. The God’s sent down rain after months of drought to wash away their filth, and in time the world was restored to all its old wonders. The sword was divided into three major pieces, spread within each of the kingdoms kept safe in crypts. Varians city of which had become a stronghold fell into ruin and death, now known as nothing more than the Wastelands.
•Plot- (So far)
Firithia faces once again an old threat. Malacay, brother to the King of Nor, has betrayed his people.
In secret he studied for years the same magic Varian had once learned. Using support from a small group of followers he was able to obtain powerful summoning magic. Malacay learned to imbue the unliving with the energy from the underworld and even from living creatures, thus able to force corpses to rise from the dead. This energy temporarily created abomination sprits: souls which are not fully developed. These spirits would go mad inside the decaying bodies, becoming deadly creatures that would kill anything in their path. This made the summoning magic dangerous to use for himself. Though not true forms of living creatures, Malacay considered himself a God; he could give life.
Malacay then learned how to summon an even more deadly creature: Dark Elves straight from the underworld itself. Taking up one of the Ruined Strongholds near the wastelands, they rebuilt, and he constructed what is now being called an impenetrable Bulwark, all of which had been managed to be done in secret over the past 10 years.
Malacay then followed the footsteps of Varian: he made an alliance with Orcs. At last with his small army beginning to truly mass together their power, he out a small party to set up camp around the Old Crypt to excavate it for the first piece to the Sword of Awarthiel. The encampment grew, soon being noticed by travelers, then by scouts.
Malacay visited his brother in Nor, whom was suspicious at the time but did not have enough evidence to rightfully claim injustice on his own sibling. Malacay kept his secrets well, and was popular with the people. Confronting him directly was incredibly unwise. Furthermore, he was his brother. A man he trusted, and so the King could not condemn him.
You have settled in Nor, on account of your own reasons. Night has fallen, and content inside the stronghold walls of the city. You are unaware, however, that all the peacefulness underneath the moon is about to be obliterated.

Race: For a list of races, see Information Page for Details. Its linked at the bottom of this post.
Weaponry: If you have a 95ft battle axe that can wipe out the entire army within seconds, I don’t want to read it. Realistic! Key words here :D But feel free to be creative! Read bellow for further instruction.
Magic: A rather touchy subject, but how can I not add this? Explain what you can overall accomplish. If you’re an absolutely amazing fighter, spells to a minimum. If your character relies on spells rather than a blade, keep a good amount of magic handy. You can also balance these out nicely. But if you play Mr.All-Mighty-Badass Magic Man, you better convince me you have Gandalf status. Just like it takes stamina to swing a sword, it takes mana to cast spells.
