"You'll call me right?" asked the petite blonde that stood in the hallway of the apartment that William currently called home. It was a loft that both he, his father and now his new step mother and step sister lived in together. The space was huge and had plenty of rooms. All William could do was smirk down at her, clearly amused at her question. He merely shrugged before leaning down to press a swift yet chaste kiss to her lips," We'll see." She seemed to melt at his actions and only nodded before turning and walking towards the elevator. As soon as she had started walking, he swung the door shut as fast as he could. A look of relief appearing on his face at the fact that he had rid himself of her. She was quite the clingy one and he loathed clingy people. That was why he had never been in a relationship and never wanted to be in one. He had seen what it did to other guys and he did not want to end up like them at all. Where was the fun in being tied down to one girl? He made his way towards the kitchen to get himself a cup of much needed coffee. His left hand searching for his pack of cigarettes that he had shoved into one of his pockets that morning. His fingers wrapping around it and pulling it out.
He fished out two, sliding one behind his ear and the other between his slightly chapped lips. He slammed the pack down on the table before going to grab the coffee pot. His new step mother had already gotten up to go to work and she always seemed to make sure that her family was taken care of before leaving. It was a welcome change in William's life compared to the mornings when he had to get up to make himself coffee. Now all he had to do was pour it into a cup and not waste anytime doing anything else. He leaned against the counter while pouring the searing hot liquid into one of the cracked mugs that his dad refused to get rid of. He set the coffee pot back down and blew slightly into the mug. He glanced around the quiet apartment, wondering if anyone else was even up. Was his step sister even up? A sly grin appeared on his face when he remembered their encounter together. He decided he would find out, making his way towards her room. Her door was shut but that didn't matter to him.
Without knocking, he pushed the door open only to see that her bed was empty. He glanced around, wondering where she was. He thought he heard something coming from the bathroom that was between his room and hers. His eye brows shot up as he reached to push the door open, realizing that the door was locked. A scoff fell from his lips as he took a drag on his cigarette and leaned against the door," You know, you have to come out sometime sis."
