That Night Changed Our Lives [CLOSED] ( )

Postby Imagine That! on Thu Dec 03, 2009 8:12 am

Please don't post here, as this is a private roleplay between wednesdaysun and myself.

***

Haylee Lorna Moore smiled a little as she walked into the party wearing this. It was one of her friends birthday parties that she had been invited too, and the outfit had taken a long time to pick out. She had walked through the front door after her elder brother Leo had dropped her off outside, so that she didn't have to drive home whilst intoxicated, and she was staying over here tonight too.

The music was already playing, and the living room of her friend Samantha's house was already bustling with people, meaning that the petite girl couldn't find her friend yet. She was going to wait until she was a little bit more drunk, so that she would be able to push herself through the crowds of people. With the alcohol table at the side of the room, and easily accessible, she quickly rushed over there to grab an un-opened beer. She took a swig when it was open, and then proceeded to dance around with the closest people to her, that just happened to be very cute guys.

Jordan Kisling, or Denny as he preferred to be called, had been there much earlier than Haylee. He'd helped out Samantha put things up around her house, by the urging of her older brother Ian. He thought very much that the music was good, and there was alcohol as far as the eye could see, but he tried to avoid any sort of female contact. He'd heard from a friend of his that Haylee was there in the party. He took another gulp of his Mountain Dew and raspberry flavored Absolut Vodka mix, observing everyone with a slightly drunken eye. In fact, he had no idea why he was drinking in the first place.

Standing up, he decided to take a walk around to keep him from feeling even more tipsy. Turned out it was worse than he thought and he had to lean on a nearby chair for support. He went around talking to several friends of his that he knew in the party, though it just wasn't cutting it. He jostled around the crowd until he bumped into Haylee.

Down Haylee's throat went so many beers that it was already making her head fuzzy, and she had also been throwing back some shots. Her vision was a little clouded, blurring things that were only a few feet in front of her. A few hours later, she was completely drunk, laughing at things that weren't funny, and stumbling around the house. Being drunk was actually a lot of fun, and it was probably the best state that someone could be in and still have a good time. With another glass of alcohol in her hands, she bumped into someone and looked up.

"Oh, it's you." She muttered darkly to Denny. Not even the drink would change her despise for him.

"I'm sorry." he said, and walked her somewhere where it wasn't really crowded. He let her sit down on a sofa. She was getting very drunk, and he was almost there. It was the least he could to for an enemy while he was under the influence of alcohol.
"Now, I think you should stay here." he said, unusually kind. "You might get yourself hurt out there, you know?"
He sat next to her, but with a distance as he knew he still hated her very much.

Haylee frowned as Denny led her over to somewhere less crowded, a beer bottle still in her hand. When she was sat down on the sofa, she was still frowning, but that then turned into a glare. "What crawled up your ass and switched on the nice switch?" She asked him, a hint of anger in her voice which was being partially disguised by the alcohol in her veins. "You're never this fucking nice to me." She muttered, and then took another gulp of the beer.

"Get myself hurt? Yeah, okay. Nice try, buster." She said, standing up and then heading over to the door that had been shut in the little living room they were in. "Oh, please don't try to hide how much you hate me. It's not working."

"Well, perhaps I should be." he said taking another gulp of his drink.
He was frankly a little ticked off with her manner of talking. Perhaps it was the alcohol. Her last sentence hit him particularly hard.
"Fine then, suit yourself." he said, exasperated. "But don't expect me to come picking you up when no one else does."
He stood up and left to get a refill of his drink. I just helped her, he said to himself. Ungrateful bitch.

"Yeah, we'll I actually have friends, so they would pick me up if I fell over. Which I won't." Just at that particular moment, it being a very bad time, Haylee stumbled as she walked, grabbing on to the door-frame to keep herself upright. "I'm fine." She muttered, heading over to the drinks once more. Her beer bottle was now empty, and she needed another. However, just when she came to the drinks stand, she tripped over a plastic cup that was on the floor where someone had left it, and she fell over, hitting her head on the drinks table. "Ouch.."

Denny turned back to see that whatever he'd expected Haylee to do if she hadn't settled down came true. He chuckled warmly, but that was because he was drunk, and took the last gulp of his newly refilled drink before he walked over and bent over to look at her right in the eye.
"I hate to say 'I told you so'." he said, mouthing the words from the song that was playing; I Told You So by The Hives.
He noticed a fresh, bleeding cut on her forehead that she got from falling over and hitting herself on the head. His smile grew bigger as he was tempted to laugh at her out loud, but he chose not to. She was the celebrant's good friend and he didn't want to run into any trouble with anyone that day, especially with Haylee.
"Come with me. That looks like it needs some cleaning."
He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her to the bathroom, where he was pretty much sure there were medical supplies. He wasn't sure why he was doing this. He wouldn't usually be so nice to her, but he didn't notice at the time. He was just too drunk to think about it. He opened the door to the bathroom, pulled Haylee in and shut the door. He opened the medicine cabinet and found some topical antiseptic and some cotton balls. He put some of the antiseptic on the ball and dabbed some on her forehead without even warning her that it would hurt.

"Why I'm gonna sl--" Haylee began, trying to stand up, but failing miserably. Her head was swimming when she tried to move, and she just wanted to stay there. She could see the laugher in Denny's eyes as she looked up at him, and then she angrily flipped him off. "Fuck you." She mouthed over the music, and she pressed her hand to her head. When she pulled it back, the teenage girl groaned. "Fuck." She said, before she was grabbed by the arm.

Not realizing who was yanking her up the stairs, she heard the click of the bathroom door lock and then herself being sat on the toilet seat before something painful was dabbed on to her head. "FUCK!" She shouted out loud, her closed eyes snapping open to see who was torturing her like this. "Jesus.. that hurts.." She moaned, hating that it had to be Denny that was doing this.

"It's supposed to hurt." he snapped. Out of the medicine cabinet, he took out a rather large adhesive bandage and gently put it on her forehead. He patted it lightly to make sure it stayed in place.
"Look." he said, pausing to collect himself. "If you go around school with that cut untreated, I don't think you'll have a hard time getting a bacterial infection. I've been down that road before, and you know it."
He came closer to check if any other parts of her head had been hurt.

Scoffing a little at his words, Haylee closed her eyes and winced again as he patted the plaster down on to her head. When he was done, she just opened her eyes slowly, and she was a little shocked to see Denny's face that close to hers. Feeling something in the pit of her stomach that she had never felt before, she leaned forward to meet him.

When their lips touched, she felt something new, something that she had never felt before, and she wanted more....

He didn't see any more cuts and was honestly a little relieved, but he received something he didn't really expect -- a kiss.
His eyes widened and he pulled back. He looked unprepared and a little overwhelmed. He wouldn't touch, kiss, or even dare talk to her, as he didn't talk often. That night was the most he had ever talked since...
"Wait." he mumbled, unable to look at her. He came close to her and returned the favor. He wrapped his arms around her in a soft embrace. Each second, his conscience was bugging him to stop. It wasn't like him at all. But something about the moment made him just push on with it.

Haylee looked down quickly when he pulled away and told her to wait. She had done wrong, and she knew it. It was just the alcohol making her act, and she was about to apologize profusely to him when his arms arms came around her. Her own arms slid around his shoulders, linking her fingers together at the back of his neck and she pressed her body closer to hers.

Something was making her go for this; be it hidden desire for the male opposite her, or just the combination of the alcohol and the bump on her head that was driving this... lust for him.

He kissed her, somewhere between ferociously and affectionately, and he somehow, against his better judgment, he wished that the moment could last forever. His conscience finally gave up on him and he pulled her closer to him. He pulled his lips away from hers to remove his jacket, as it was getting rather suffocating and warm inside the enclosed bathroom. He threw it on the floor and he could feel a little lighter now.
"Is it warm in here?" he asked in a cheeky tone. He put his lips back to hers again.

Haylee smiled a little against his lips, not being able to believe what they were doing now. It made her feel good, loved that he wanted to be close to her as well, and kiss her. When he pulled off his jacket and threw it on the floor, she just couldn't stop herself. She knew her best friend's house like the back of her hand, even whilst she was drunk so she knew where she was going.

Taking his hand, she stood up off of the toilet seat and walked backwards with a smirk on her face. "Very...so, I think we should go somewhere else.." She spoke seductively, before leading him into the spare bedroom.

(sure!}

Denny woke up the next morning with a massive headache, half naked in boxers, sheets, his clothes strewn around the place and her. She was naked, sheets wrapping up about her forming a silhouette of her figure. He was slightly aroused, but he had a hangover. His conscience sprung back up again and he noticed that he had in fact slept with the enemy. He puts his face in his hands and runs his hands through his messed up black hair. He decided that since she was going to have to do the Walk of Shame, he decided to help her start. He picked up her clothes silently when she was asleep and arranged them on the bed before picking up his own and putting them on. He gave himself a huge mental punch for sleeping with her. He didn't know why he even brought himself to do so. He remembered what happened that night as clear as day, and he very well knew that he wouldn't forget it. It would haunt him. Perhaps even make him insane.
He put on his shirt slowly, trying not to move so much to make the headache worse. He flinched when it did hurt, and he sat back on the edge of the bed nearest to him to rest a while before putting the rest of his clothing on.

Haylee stirred in the bed when something moved next to her, making her eyes open as quickly as they would allow. The first thing she noticed was Denny getting dressed, and then herself being cold. Suddenly, everything just clicked back into place and she remembering things from the night before. His hands on her body... his lips on hers.. the feeling of him inside her.. everywhere..."No.." She moaned quietly, sitting up slowly and pulling the duvet up with her body to keep it covered. This wasn't good.

Already having stuff here in this room for the next day, as she had been invited to sleep over here anyway, she spotted her bag in the corner of the room. After running a hand through her extremely messed up black hair, she slid out from under the cover with a sheet still wrapped around her own body. When she had gotten dressed into this, she turned to look at him with a sheepish expression. "Not a word to anyone, right?"

"The only promise I'm ever making you." he groaned. He clutched the back of his head in pain and squinted. This headache was worse than the other ones. He must've put too much vodka in his drink. He turned to look at Haylee with a pained expression, not really caring how he treated her while distracted by the headache.
"Do you mind if I lie down for a moment?" he asked.
He put his dark wash jeans on slowly, beginning with his left pant leg. He'd remembered his jacket was in the bathroom still, but he would retrieve it once he would have a lie down.

"Mhm." Haylee murmured under her breath and then she nodded as he said about laying down. Quickly, the teenager headed out to the bathroom, filling up a glass of water and then taking a few pain killers out of the cupboard. She then picked up Denny's jacket and headed back into the bedroom. She put the glass on the bedside table next to Denny and then placed the tablets next to the water.

Laying the jacket on the bed, she then looked at herself in the mirror, wincing at the damage on her head. "Ouch." She said quietly, slowly peeling off the plaster and then grimacing again. "That hurts." She muttered to herself, before putting the bandage in the bin and turning to look at him. "You okay?"

"Not really." he said, finally laying down on the bed. He covered his eyes with the back of his hand, blinded by the light of the morning shining through the window. Perhaps it was a little intensified by the hangover, but he just wasn't sure. Maybe he really just didn't like sunshine that much. He turned to the bedside table and sat up a bit to take the tablets.
"Thanks." he said taking the tablets and the glass of water from the table. He broke the tablet's wrapper and took it with a gulp of water. "How's the cut?"
