He sat silently, sitting on his thrown, staring down, tears gently wipes across his eyes. His daughter was his life, he was created, he was born to just have her, take care of her, make sure nothing would happen to her, but being so foolish, believing something in which was a lie, he brought carnage to his subjects, and no more than imaginable death to his daughter. His bright Golden hair shrouded down, covering his face, in front of him almost a puddle, from his weeping. He felt lost, so many of his Warriors asked him for orders, but he had been silent for days, though finally he called upon no more than his daughters kinsmen, Ryuu. He awaited for him to show, and finally he heard steps, closer, finally someone appeared. Looking up Ryuu stared, kneeling down before him. "Arise my son......" He said softly. "Ryuu? You have been like a son to me, I gave you the duty to watch my daughter, this being my fault, I ask you, bring my armies with you, to the mountains, I want you to save my daughter, just please do what I asked of you for so many years, protect her, in return, I, will relieve you, you'll be free to live your life in these Castle Walls, as a Hero!"
Ryuu stared, tears in his eyes as well. He didn't want fame for this, this was Grace, someone he spent his life protecting, since she was only a child, he had been by her side, he stared down and looked up, obvious his face red, and damp. "My Lord, I don't want anything for this, I want to do what you asked of me, and if I succeed, I wish to keep doing so, until the day I fall by another’s hand...." Ryuu said that in all respect. He wanted to save her, it was his duty to do so, and he would see fit it was done!
The King smiled lightly. He knew Ryuu would do this for him, even if death came, he would be Hero for his troubles, he devoted his life for his daughter, and he beckoned him for it. "Go my son, take this..."
The King gave him the Royal Pendant, something only Royals had, giving him total control over the Kings own forces. "My lord?"
The king smiled. "Just go, don't fail me, my son..."
Ryuu stood up staring, looking down, tears still in his eyes, he turned. "Yes my lord, I will not fail you!" His white hair just dangled as he turned towards the Kings Personal Guards. "Blow the horns, I want all warriors to meet me in the War Room, I only want the best!" Ryuu grimaced before walking away. Finally the horns sirened through the city.
