A powerful energy emmittance comes from space a few hundred kilometers away from Terra, followed immediately by this broadcast. A ship had just FTL jumped to the location from unknown coordinates. It appears they were jumping almost at random.

There is a short pause until the message continues.

The following is a transcript of a video recording which was sent to all the major international and intergalactic news media corporations around 11:48AM GMT. This video was released by the Muđahedin al-Qiyāmah, the public relations division of Hataf, headquarted in Cairo. Originally, it was broadcast live around 10:21AM GMT, streamed from http://www.mudahedinalqiyamah.com. Afterward, it was distributed galaxywide in a media news storm. The original languages were English, Taiyou/Japanese, and Anquietas (an Aschen language), but it was also published with subtitles in Arabic, French, Urdu, Pashto, Farsi, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, and Kiswahili. Signatories names were added like credits following the primary portion of the video.

Fade to black, before fading to three people - two women and a man - seated at a table. The first woman is taller than her female counterpart, with a fair complexion and short, tightly curled brown hair, dressed in a Western style pantsuit. The woman in the middle is shorter than either of her companions, dark brown hair framing an olive complexion, dressed in a contemporary-styled jilbab. The man on the other end is taller than both women, wearing a neatly trimmed silver beard along hawk-like features, head wrapped in an Afghan turban, dressed in a shalwar kameez.

The names REBEKAH WEISS, LAYLA BAHAR, and MIR KHALID MAMADZAI KHAN, respectively, are captioned at the bottom of the frame, in Latin and Arabic script. Behind the three is a plain, pale yellow painted wall with the seal of Muđahedin al-Qiyāmah mounted behind them. Next to the seal, on the right side, is a framed verse from the Qur'an in Arabic calligraphy; on the left side, is a framed letter signed "The Father" in Farsi script. Only three file folders on the surface of the table and three wooden chairs are visible in the foreground. There is faint white noise, perhaps of a ventilator or other air conditioner, in the background, but no other sounds.

BAHAR: In the Name of God, all praise is due to God. Prayers and peace be upon on the Messenger of God, and on his family, companions, and allies. True Muslim brothers and sisters everywhere: Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of God.

The three names fade. After having given the benediction, BAHAR settles back into her chair, tapping her fingers against the armrest, as she turns to WEISS. WEISS clears her throat, opening her file folder as she shuffles some of the papers inside before looking up at the camera. She brushes back a few curls behind her ear.

WEISS: We the faithful are called to defend all true believers from the scourge of the enemies of God and the faith. In recent times, our mission has come under attack by the forces of the Taiyou Empire and the Aschen Confederation, as well as the United States of America, who have murdered hundreds of the faithful.

MAMADZAI KHAN: In response, we the Greater Council of Hataf have decided to declare our support for the United Coalition of Organized Nations, along with the Invictus Para-Military Corporation, in their stated mission to destroy Aschen and Taiyou aggressors. Even now, the UCON has penetrated the ungodly Terran defenses over China, and will soon overrun the godless Americans.

BAHAR: They will see the folly of their ways and repent, but it will be too late for them.

WEISS: No one is safe from the hand of God.

MAMADZAI KHAN: The soldiers of the one God will triumph.

WEISS: Yes, even now, the faithful will rise from the ashes.

BAHAR: The Aschen Confederation has stood for thousands of years, but God is eternal.

MAMADZAI KHAN: The Taiyou Empire is built on a backbone of salt and sand. It claims it will rise to dominate the known Multiverse, but it too will fall and crumble away.

WEISS: The United States of America have acted time and again as if they alone possess the means to dictate the policies and actions of other nations, but their hypocrisy will be revealed, and their government fall to the People of God.

BAHAR: You three most unholy instruments of Satan, know this: Your acts of war have damned your people. Not one will be left alive. Neither men nor women, neither the elderly nor your children, neither your leaders nor your soldiers, neither your cities nor your tribespeople shall be spared. Even the very foliage of your worlds will burn.

WEISS: We of Hataf declare total war against you.

MAMADZAI KHAN: We shall lend all military, economic, and political aid to the United Coalition of Organized Nations in its war against the Three Dogs of Satan.

BAHAR: All praise is due to the One True God, the Lord of Worlds. May He send prayers and peace on His Prophet Muhammad, and his family and companions.

WEISS returns her papers to the file folder, closing it as she rests her palm on top of it. The three look toward the camera. Fade to black.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

President Adar's emergency address.

President Richard Adar wrote:My fellow Citizens, people of the Aschen Confederation, her colonies, and her territories. I come before you to ask for your support in the upcoming tribulations. These tribulations are without merit, without cause. With Hataf, the Coalition, and their allies, they have placed our grand Confederation in a state of disarray. I come before you to ask for your strength, and your support, I ask for the guidance of the Lords of Kobol.

I am officially responding to the state of war to deliver a message to the United Coalition of Organized Nations. Stay away from us, and we'll stay away from you, if you aggress, we will respond in kind.

It has come to my attention however, that the Aschen Confederation has been placed in a bind. The Langaran Defense Agency has discovered evidence, pointing to the Taiyou Empire as possessing an ulterior motive.

As of this moment, the Aschen Confederation of Planets is severing it's ties with the Taiyou Empire, and declaring a state of War against an Empire that would seek to oppress us. I call upon all Democratic nations to join our cause, seek not wickedness amongst your neighbors, but fight the alien scourge that is the Taiyou Empire.

I call upon the United Coalition of Nations to cease it's aggression towards the Aschen Confederation, and I plead that it's soldiers and governors will find it in their hearts to purge the true enemies from this galaxy.

If the United Coalition of Nations agrees to immediate ceasing of hostilities between our two nations, the Aschen Confederation will hereby declare full neutrality in the coming war, and kindly ask for forgiveness from our Terran friends. There has been a purge of corruption from our government, and we no longer will threaten, or seek wickedness from our Terran neighbors. We have stood for seven thousand years. The Seventh Millenium of time is nigh. Do not let the mistakes of the few, doom an entire population.

But I digress, Regievko, do not take this as a sign of weakness. If the United Coalition of Nations continues aggression against the Aschen Confederation. We will respond to the fullest extent in which we are able. Our operations drafted are not designated against Coalition forces. Our operations will center around the eradication of HATAF, and the eradication of RED HALO from Terra, and Confederation Outskirts.

Pending approval of Parliament, the Aschen Confederation will be removing all it's forces from Terran space, with reserve to LDA Agents, and Civillian personnel stationed on the planet.

Seek not the wickedness amongst your neighbors.. lest it find purchase in your own house, remember these wise words, people of the Coalition.

McGregor Escapes Justice!

The screen cuts to an image of a young, blonde woman dressed in a stylish white pantsuit, her face painted in the style of American television personalities, seated in what is clearly a studio. She speaks quickly, without a discernible accent, and in a professional, business-like tone, looking directly into the camera, with her hands folded beneath the desk.

"Good evening, I'm Julia Brennan, reporting for CNN Nightly. In the wake of the sensational murders and bombings gripping Washington DC last month, former Aschen High Space Command Admiral McGregor was apprehended on Argos by Special Agent Natalie Schultz and Aschen Minister of Defense Claire Angelique before facing Triad on Langara. The Triad's verdict found McGregor insane, and following an unsuccessful appeal to Parliament, McGregor was released without charge or further detention, although he was terminated from the AHSC. Today, our reporter Andrew Manasserian asked the opinions of citizens in DC of the outcome of this case. Andrew?"

The image cuts to a visual of a tall, reedy man with dark hair and glasses, who, if he lost the glasses, would probably be a close doppelganger for the Director of Central Intelligence, on the streets of Washington DC. speaking into a handheld microphone with the CNN logo.

"After Raphael McGregor was acquitted of all charges and released onto the streets, the grieving families of his victims here in DC have been demanding justice. Under Aschen law, American judicial officials can seek a review of Parliament's decision by addressing the Quorum, or by waiting for a specified period of time before lodging a second appeal." Manasserian pauses, turning toward a passerby. "But some say this would be a grave injustice."

The image cuts to earlier footage of Manasserian with a woman wearing a patterned scarf over her face. "I think it's despicable, the way the Aschen system just let McGregor get off. The <expletive> <expletive> killed thirteen <expletive> people. But I shouldn't really be t - "

Image cuts back to Brennan. "And breaking news, just from the War Correspondent. Coalition forces have engaged Aschen and Terran forces above China..."

Two men in suits sit on opposite chairs angled slightly towards the screen. One is portly with stubble growing on his face and the other looks like an ex-athlete with a muscular build.

"Well, it seems that sash competition run by Wing City is finally underway, isn't it Dave?" says the portly man.

"That's right Tom, and we've seen our first score of action. Just earlier there was a fight between two contenders, the orc from the west Gorahk'nak and the Atlantean known as Avaraen, resulting in a win for the more human of the two and taking home his very own red sash to compliment that green."

"But Dave, look at the fighter comparison, we had a hard hitting monster man of an orc against a much lighter opponent. How did he manage?"

Recorded clips begin to play of the footage, mostly showing the Atlantean using magic.

"Well Tom, the Atlantean had the advantage of speed and magic on his side, and things really went down hill when the orc tried to wrestle the man down. His use of fire magic kept him easily on top of this fight."

"But you have to admire the orcs guts, don't you?" quips Tom right back, "He entered a competition that sports many magic users with nothing but an axe and by using his head, definitely something we don't see from orcs, he managed to display a variety of tactics we didn't expect to see, including throwing his weapon."

"It' just a pity it didn't work in the end bringing Avaraen to the lead for sashes with two more then anyone else. We'll have to see how this plays out in the future."

The show cuts to an add break, showing three coloured sashes waving lazily in the wind.
"They thought they were ready for anything," says the voice over.

The large words 'Wrong' display on the screen.

"They thought they knew what was going on."

Once again the large word displays over the heads of some competitors.

"The competition is just getting started, and it will shock them all."

Like a bad advvertisement for a reality TV show, a series of shocked expressions are displayed.

With operations in the Sol system becoming the main focus of the Military Council, Prime Minister Regievko dispatched Minister Leda to the Council's monthly update. After arriving in the Yasragrad system, Minister Leda met with Military Counselor Keddicks and General Shands to convene holographically with the other twelve members of the Military Council. Upon arriving at the Council's Alasia station in the Yggradisil Fields, Minister Leda, Counselor Keddicks and General Shands joined an appointment from across Coalition space to review the opening of combat operations in Sol and the entire front that would serve as the main spearhead to progress to Aschen worlds. After the nearly four-hour meeting, Counselor Leda appeared before a hastily assembled press conference to review the specifics of the meeting. While Prime Minister Regievko was nowhere to be found in the sector, being in the frontier-worlds of the Outlands inspecting the bulks of the 4th and 5th fleets, as well as the 5th and 6th Marine Divisions. The Economic Committee spoke later on the exact state of the Coalition economy, and reported that in the recent weeks small improvements have been seen in several Outer Empire corporations as well as increasing economic stability in the Forge, UCON's primary resource utilization areas. Admiral Ilea stated that he was confident the Scatterran economies could 'conglomerate to kick the Coalition economy back in to gear'. With Outer Empire mines and refineries beginning to pump a fresh wave of resources into factories and fabrication plants all across the Forge, the Coalition military is expected to see a 89 percent increase in equipment. Already, volunteers have joined to provide manpower for the war effort, the Marine Corps system being flooded in the first several days of the war by a joining rate of about 12 percent their usual expectation. In terms of economic recovery, President of the Government Economics Committe James Iggelman reports, the war effort is hoped to provide a jolt to bring the Coalition from the stalmate it is currently in.

"The situation is different for every region of Coalition space; the Forge, which has always been UCON's primary region that produces and refines all the resources gathered throughout the entirety of Coalition space, has never had trouble producing what it needed, it had trouble getting what it needed to produce all that stuff. That problem was solved by nationalising the Outer Empire, the problem that came from that, however, was the sudden dependence on anyone hauling resources to-and-fro needed a government mandate to be doing it. Now, however, with this different allocation of resources, the government mandate required to haul has been lifted to provide equipment to commit to the war effort, meaning that we're expecting thousands, if not millions of private-contractors that will help haul resources from the Outer Empier to the Forge. They will be compensated for their work, and this is just one small aspect that is designed to rejuvenate the Scatterran economy."

In a press release several hours later, dozens of media outlets were alerted to a wide-beam broadcast by Prime Minister Regievko that was addressing the current state of war between the Coalition and her enemies abroad. Channel 185 and JNN were one of the first medai outlets to be recording what has been called the 'State of War' address.

"We live in a difficult era, a fractured live of poverty, turmoil and conflict. I've addressed the rioting in Biko, the lack of jobs in Atraliah and the Outer Empire, the stalling production facilities and factories in the Forge, the lack of revenue and banking leaving the Inner Empire to cross the great divide between our planets. In these past eight years we've seen a startling lack of economic initiative against these evident problems, the beaucracy of this government has watched children starve, men sell their souls to just buy their children clothing and mothers sell themselves to simply survive another night. Halo has flown their flag across this loose group of planets, declaring that they annex this world to protect people from the monstrocity that is the Coalition; we've shown them exactly how "monstrous" we are, and now there's more we need to show it to.

As is, a state of war exists between the United Coalition of Organized Nations, the Taiyou empire and the Aschen Confederation. Coalition forces have made strategic redeployments to better achieve three simple objectives, secure Sol, secure its surrounding systems and maintain a distinct Coalition dominance of them all. There have been requests and rumors of a cease-fire between the involved factions, it is my executive decision that there will be no form of any peaceful relations until Sol and its surrounding systems are under complete UCON control. It is also my executive decision that Coalition commanders will be expected to give no quarter to any enemies they discover or encounter in combat.

'In a display of valor, honor and duty to the Coalition, the 197 crew-men of the light destroyer Lyja recieved the second-highest unit citation of the Navy. Outnumbered, outgunned and underprepared in the opening hours of the Aschen counterstrike, the CNS Lyja performed exceptionally against a superior enemy. Attacking two larger vessels with only a small drone complement, the Lyja was able to destroy one ship and badly damage another before being forced to retreat due to damages inflicted.

Naval Crown of Honor for CAPTAIN HELEN ABRAMS of the CNS Japori Bay

'In a selfless display of sacrifice and dedication, the Captain of the cruiser Japori Bay stalled the forward advance of an Aschen counterstrike by nearly three hours when the Captain engaged a much larger enemy force and effectively eliminated several capital ships using reinforcements. After sustaining critical damage to the vessel, Captain Abrams demanded her crew evacuate the vessel while her herself remained on board. Detonating one of four strategic warheads, Captain Abrams was able to stall the Aschen counterstrike and provide the Coalition Navy with the necessary time to prepare their defenses.'

'During the opening assault on the CHINESE city of SHANGHAI, Specialist Wright fought valiantly and with utmost dedication. Pinned down and taking casualties from enemy fire, Wright led a small group of riflemen in a brilliant flanking manuever that crippled the entire grid of defenses the objective had surrounding it. Due to his extreme courage SHANGHAI fell to the Coalition with minimal casualties and sooner than expected, allowing the Coalition to seize the tactical advantage on the continent.'

Commander Kendra Shaw wrote:"You're born, you live and you die. There are no do-overs, no second chances to make things right if you frak 'em up the first time. Not in this life anyway. Like I said, you make your choices and you live with them. And in end you are those choices."

The war has waged on for several days, with a bloody stalemate teetering either way between Aschen and Coalition forces in the heart of Sol, the Gateway to the Tal'dor system. The Aschen has redeployed it's entire military machine, and with a re-energized commitment from the Taiyou Empire of Greater Niihama, the Rhonen Imperium, the AXIS Cooperation Forces, and all other allies of the Aschen Confederation, there will be a renewed charge to push the Coalition out of Terran Space, and invite Terra as a state in the Aschen Confederation. So far losses are heavy, and sentiment is dwindling.

The Following is a transcript from the latest Parliamentary Session.

Sire Elrad Hunt of Picon: Thank you Siress Burian, I come before Parliament today to bring about the passing of new laws and ordinances in regard to the UCON-Aschen War, I am also speaking to authorize a redeployment of the Aschen Military to defend and protect Aschen interests in Sol. Parliament is now free to debate this issue, and shall commence debate immediately."

Sarah Porter of Gemenon: "I would like to commence opening discussions... the first point I'd like to bring up is the current Coalition Modus Operandi, the complete destruction of Aschen society, Aschen way of life, and the total eradication of Aschen genetics from this universe. This is a Modus Operandi that is unacceptable and we will fight to preserve our people and way of life. As it stands our entire military is being re-assembled to fight and eventually push the Coalition out of Terran space."

Sire Oswyn Eriku of Libran: "We at the Libran Prefecture agree with Siress Porter... we would back any Parliamentary decision for a total declaration of war. We would also back any efforts to secure any laws and legislation to further enable our efforts against the Coalition."

My Fellow Rhonens I come here today to announce a call to war in the aid of an ally that we barely know and we as a people must make a choice and that is how do we justify risking our only defense which has been our silence for generations? The logo for WCNN (Wing City News Network) would appear on television screens across the city, the surrounding area, and wherever else they had the same channel. A woman in a black suit would be sitting in the anchor seat that was usually reserved for the network's anchor, Erick Kelly. The woman had East Asian features and dark brown hair, she seemed very calm as she waited to speak.

"Hello, people of Wing City, Erick Kelly was running late today and at the urging of this network's producers we have moved up the usual segment concerning the Invictus." The woman said, "I'm Kai Ni, I'll be your host for this segment and all others until the arrival of Erick Kelly." Kai said before clearing her throat. "The usual members of the Invictus that come by and speak couldn't make it today, but I have been given details on what is to be addressed."

"The Invictus are starting up their recruitment drive officially. According to current members, they had been swamped with all types of problems and were never able to announce that they were recruiting. This comes just after the departure of Kazen Horne, an infamous member of the Invictus and son of slain IRA leader, Patrick Horne. It's also been reported that Fatin Alfarsi, a major player in the organization has become acting leader while John Izumi takes a break."

"A break from what? We don't know. But, there is word that this is due to attempts on his life since he became leader of the organization. Is he finally giving the throne over to the woman he refers to as Big Sister? The WCNN logo would appear on the screen, soon followed by the Invictus logo before the screen shifted to show Erick Kelly. He sat behind the anchor's desk with a dark blue suit, smiling slightly before speaking.

"We've only heard rumors so far, but it seems that General Haggai is finally getting rid of his ball and chain." Erick said, "It's been reported that Haggai has filed for divorce, and to my understanding the divorce has been finalized. Though, we can't confirm this just yet until we have a reliable source or unless we hear from Haggai himself or his... ex? Wife." Erick cleared his throat. "You all may know Haggai for his part in forming the mercenary company known as the Invictus and for being a member of their parent organization of the same name."

"Though we can't confirm the rumors of divorce just yet, we were able to spot Haggai leaving Gambit's Bar with a young woman. The next Mrs. Haggai, perhaps? Only time will tell what is going on with the reclusive General Haggai. Hopefully, we'll have the exclusive."

"Also facing hard times is Kazen Horne who is taking it upon himself to enter the courts and gain custody over his unborn child. Mr. Horne is said to be getting as much support and influence that he can to prove to the courts that he should have sole custody of his child. The frame fades in, accompanied by whimsical, patriotic music; akin to that of Yankee Doodle. The frame features, most prominently, a man in his early thirties sporting a very official, very dark-black suit. the suit is emblazoned with the mark of a currently unknown organization; a white "E", surrounded by thirteen white stars in a circular pattern. On Terra, this organization was unheard of (other than few remnants), however, on Earth, this organization shined with the pride of the American people. The man, face worn with years of battle, began to speak:

"Hello, Terra. Some of you know who I am, however, most of you question why I appear on your screen today. My name is Henry Ried. I am the President of Modern America. Also, I am the Operational Commander of a group that many of you may have seen, and all of you will soon see in your cities and towns; the Enclave. The Enclave began a modest, yet powerful force, however, grew to become the most powerful government in all of Earth's history."

The man stood from his desk, his lanky, muscular figure boasting his veteran status of the war.

"The Enclave rose to power after World War Two, a war nobody now even pays much mind to. We eventually gained enough power and support to reconstruct and bring to its former glory, the government of the United States of America. After the war of 2077, the Enclave began working to keep our country alive, and by late 2277, we'd lost all hope after heavy losses in our own capitol. But, we never gave up."

The President began walking down a hallway, relics of the USA's past standing proudly on pedestals, lighted brightly.

"By 2300, we'd brought the US near to its former state, and began colonizing other countries. Now, in 2305, we've reached to the stars and colonized space. why, right now I am orbiting Earth in the B.O.M.B One carrier! After nuclear war, we've brought the world around in two hundred years. It took early man over a thousand years to colonize even the American continent, let alone locate it!"

Finally, the man stopped walking, backgrounded by the new American flag. Same stripes, yet, instead of fifty stars, the same "E" logo on the man's suit was printed in the blue void.

"Terra, the Enclave is coming to you, and we expect to begin government negotiations on occupancy and land ownership before we reach you. We are coming to protect, to serve, and most of all, to support your governments in keeping Terra alive and flourishing. Soon enough, you will see nice, charismatic recruiters and soldiers in your cities, asking for members to enlist in our great cause. Please talk to these men, listen, and most of all; enlist. This was President Henry Ried, and we are the Enclave, coming to you. Bless you, sweet Terra, and Good Day."

The music grew louder as men in heavy, technologically-advanced armor walked up to, and promptly saluted the Operational Commander. To this, he smiled and saluted back to the men. Finally, the music, and the image, faded out.

Dear Editor, I am deeply disappointed on this day. The bar was besieged by a rather handsome individual confined to a wheelchair who possessed some of the most magnificant dragons you have ever seen, making not entirely unreasonable demands, the simple copying of powers which would take a mere ten seconds a person, for the patrons safety. What unfolded was a rather alarming series of events.

Rather then neatly deal witht he barely mobile, clearly ingenious man, the bar patrons, some of which claim to be able to eat dragons, merely remained in their places and began to sook rather loudly about how they didn't want to and didn't have to, despite the combined efforts of the dragons being able to surely overwhelm the individuals in the bar quite easily. They were only people in the face of dragons, of course. Their only salvation relied in simply toppling the man sideways with a harmless attack that would have taken almost no effort compared to the massive teleporting such individuals could easily achieve.

But no! Rather then attempt to subdue the incredibly dashing and utterly dangerous individual, they simply slung half-hearted insults about how he was a cripple, or at least this reader hopes they were half hearted, as they certainly didn't seem very well thought out or even remotely funny or clever. They were all quickly shot down by the much sharper wit of the vastly cleverer man laying siege to the bar.

So my eventual point is this.

The supposed 'good guys' of Gambit's Bar did nothing to attempt to stop this man, who, if he had not been so kind as to show absolute mercy out of pity for how pathetic they were, could have easily killed them all. Doesn't that seem like they were afraid to attack, or are at the very least they're not nearly as noble or well-intentioned as they say. After all, they could have been the only ones who could save the entire establishment, and yet they all quietly fled when given the first opportunity.

WASHINGTON D.C. — Early yesterday afternoon, an unidentified John Doe appeared in the Counterterrorism Division of the J. Edgar Hoover Building, proceeding to verbally antagonize Supervisory Special Agent Natalie E. After intense deliberations at the hands of the Parliamentary Body, and from intense pressure from the outlying worlds and in the Quorum, a decision was reached after overwhelming outcry at the Roslin Administration's decision to withdraw from Sol and Terra. The decision was considered again and overturned, with the President citing that a mistake was made, but had also vowed to put a minimum amount of Aschen lives at risk, and has decided, with advice from the Military Admiralty, to re-commit to the security of Terra, and after the confirmation of reports of Taiyou crimes, purge them from the Planet, and re-establish mining operations on the planet.

Opinion - Just Wondering About That Military Roadblock Thing

Why was there a military roadblock in the first place when a Graystone Industries truck collided with it?

Am I the only person who wants to know the answer to that question? Or even thought to ask it?

Yeah, a Graystone Industries truck blew up to hell and gone recently when it collided with a military roadblock. I'm sure it was a hell of a thing, straight out of a TV show - a runaway truck goes full speed into glorious destruction, exploding into a thousand frakkin' fireballs when it collided with a bunch of tanks.
But why was there a MILITARY roadblock? What the hell was in that truck that made a bunch of frakkin' soldiers scurry about in the middle of the night with tanks and bazookas and stop it from ever reaching wherever the hell it was going?

We're never going to know. You know why? Because it's classified. And because Daniel Graystone - beautiful, brilliant, morally BANKRUPT Daniel Graystone - is now too drunk or too depressed or too whatever to talk about it.

Vergis sure as hell doesn't give a damn - that was before his regime, and he's now too busy making toy soldiers.

I don't know about you folks, but a Graystone Industries truck colliding with a bunch of damn tanks...I got a feeling in my gut that this little PR embarrassment is just the beginning of something much, much bigger.

Riots broke out across the galaxy today in what we are being told is the remnants of a civil war from a previously unknown empire. This empire, known as the Erutin Empire after the Royal House of Erutin, has apparently been quietly expanding for millenia. A spokesman from the Empire, known as First Dark Blade Ulenna agreed to speak to us.

When questioned about their colonies on already inhabited world, First Dark Blade had this to say:

"Our colonies on your worlds are maintained with peaceful intent; our enormous population can only be supported by secretly sharing life bearing worlds... and their intentions are as peaceful as the true inhabitants of these planets. To hide amongst a civilization as we do is as normal as wearing clothes."

When asked about the colonies invading host worlds, Ulenna claimed that any request to have the colony removed from their planet would be respected; although, due to recent civil unrest, leeway for some inevitable delay would be asked.

This nation is not human, rather refer to themselves as shape shifters. Their natural form is that of a large panther like animals with a lion like tail and shaggy paws. All shape shifters had gold rings around one limb, and a tattoo one the back of one hand. Because of their ability to change shape, they are able to blend in well with the populace of where ever they choose to inhabit.

The Riots, which lasted from thirty minutes to three hours resulted in low causalities due to the care taken by the fighters. No bystanders were harmed at all, in this odd series of events. Rest assured, we will follow this story closely.

In resent news a group of Soldiers from another reality has made it's way into our home Terra. The soldiers resembled that of the American government that we know. When we came in to question the soldiers they rudely shoved us away until they finished setting up a temporary base with strange cold fusion powered instruments that seemed to allow this group to set up a protective field around their portal that they traveled through. Still no word on...whats that? Well, ladies and gentlemen it seems has finished setting up their perimeter and have given our reporter Susan Wills an update. Susan any word?

Thanks Todd, just earlier today as you've heard a group that resembled the American Government that we know seemed to have just appear from a high energy wormhole that appeared just outside Wing City. When we questioned the group at first they told us to keep away until a protective perimeter was created around their wormhole. Just recently have they allowed us to come closer to ask questions. We asked if they were from America. They answered yes, but they come from a different Universe. This Reporter has dubbed this New Universe The NewTemplars due to most of their equipment seeming to be made by a company called Templar Corporations. They haven't answered much else, and told us that all will be disclosed when Their General John Romulus makes his appearance.
