As the former Admiral and infamous commander of Trantor's Independent Mobile Fleets returns to open space, heading to the newest center of galactic trade. With his New Macross cruiser and several escort cruisers, he hopes to re-establish a connection from Trantor to open space.

Once again, many OMNINET signals were hijacked and interrupted, with that sound that many through the Multiverse feared...



On the screen, one could again see the two anchormen, both no longer in business attire, but dress military uniforms, both with breasts adorned with medals and decorations to numerous for even the new Sultan of the Buddislamic Caliphate to care, but, what surprised many, was the fact that one of the anchormen was a woman, a military woman, who carried upon her shoulder boards the rank of Admiral, her brown eyes reflecting a distinctive gleam of pride, and the man beside her wore the rank of Governer-Militant of Ehuhina. If one observed closely enough, they would notice that these two were not the same two who had been the previous news anchors, but instead, replacements. The female then spoke up,

"People of the Multiverse and the Caliphate, the Caliphate News Network has not broadcasted in months, for that, we apologize, but we have news, we expect, will help explain that. We must apologize for the disappearance of your previous news personalities, they had to be-"

And with that, she hesitated for a moment, and then continued.

Then, she looked over to the man, who she nodded to to continue, and he then said,

"The Caliphate, after a period of severe Isolation, we are proud to announce, that, the Sen-Shi'tte forces have achieved Victory in the struggle for inheritance. The tragic death of Sultan Miswar the great was executed by several unnamed Zen-Sunni factions, led by his traitorous brother, Oruju Ottoman. However, to meet these forces, Sultan's son, Burali, crushed the opposition after a long and bloody war, and now, Burali the Conqueror has been crowned Sultan, we hope to take up the sword again, and continue on our Jihad, and with Burali the Conqueror leading us, we cannot fail."

The man was smiling greatly, since his position was achieved through the crowning of the new Sultan. What many did not know, was, Burali had killed many of his brothers so that he may have claim to the throne, and the one thing Miswar did not want, was Burali at the throne, for, despite Miswar's own Expansionist ideals, Burali wanted to unite all under the Caliphate's Banner, and bring order and justice to the multiverse, and kill all those who oppose. Burali was both what the Caliphate needed most, and what it didn't need at all.

With the return of the Caliphate from it's self-imposed Isolation, Holy War will come again to the Multiverse.

The transmission lulled through space slowly, often received by random ships that floated in the endless expanse of space and the cosmos. It would mean little though, no one had heard anything from the UCON since it had consolidated it's force within the Beta Hydri system and then locked it's borders tight. No commerce, no trade, and no word out. For five years time had passed like that. Other than sporadic expeditions by groups of thirty or forty CAF Marines, nothing ever came in or out of UCON controlled space. The Galaxy moved along, it trudged in it's walk hardly recognizing what actions a small band of humans decided to do with the small bit of territory they owned.

Operation Beta Hydri;

A massive retro-fitting attempt, in the course of just two years, the UCON Military Population jumped exponentially, required Military Service boosted the stamina of the Armed Forces; which was then reorganized into the Confederated Armed Forces, a branch of the UCON Security Force directly. The Cosmic Corps was disbanded, and a vast majority of resources in the Beta Hydri system were seized by the government directly. In two years, the UCON Military had asserted itself as a major industrial power.

Operation Enduring Achievement;

After five years of no communications to any of the outside galaxy, UCON suddenly jumps back into the radar. The Solar Months of March and June begin with a massive Naval Offensive out of UCON Territory, pushing into the remaining space left over from several nearby nations. Over the course of two months, the UCON achieves total victory in it's endeavors to conquer it's smaller counterparts, two solar systems comprised mainly of detached Scatteran pirates fell to the UCON invasion as the borders were pushed forward. The small pocket of the galaxy that UCON occupied had erupted into war, reports of the conflicts among UCON and it's Rebel counterparts flooded across the galaxy.

With victory had come resources, knowledge, and experience. The CAF had easily dominated the battlefield through Strategic Tactical Superiority, casualties were numbering in the hundreds. Now came the hard part; after UCON had successfully solidified it's control in it's newly conquered territories, the CAF geared up for it's newest offensive. It took two months for several groups of CAF Marines to establish "beach heads" on satellite asteroids outside strategic star systems UCON had set in it's sights. The year is 2497, the following press-conference held by Prime Minister Ludvik Regievko was issued across the galaxy by UCON Satellites roughly eight months ago, the Confederated Armed Forces is now preparing for an entirely new offensive into once uncharted and unknown space. Across the UCON Empire, parades begin on the day of the new Offensive, families sit glued to television sets as images of aircraft and soldiers bearing the emblem of Scatter as the new Scatteran Age begins.

The intro for the WCNN (Wing City News Network) plays, a relatively young anchorman is then shown. He is wearing a grey suit, has short black hair, and speaks in a very serious tone.

"This is Erick Kelly bringing you the cities most recent news. Wing city has never been a stranger to violence, but the recent emergence of the criminal organization only known as the Syndicate in the city and it's connection with a rise in violent crimes has shocked the city. Down at the sight of a gun battle between the Syndicate and an unknown male suspect in the cities' southside earlier today is reporter Lisa Valderamma"

The camera then begins to show a woman of hispanic descent, she is wearing a suit top and medium length skirt. She has shoulder length brown hair and speaks with serious, but alluring voice. The scene behind her is sealed off by the local law enforcement and cars filled with bullet holes, ambulances, police cuffing men and women in red and black clothing can be seen.

"Thank you Erick" She says, maintaining her seriousness. "I'm here at the scene of the vicious gunfight that has left at least 14 dead, 20 wounded, and 15 in police custody. Witnesses say the shooting started when a man dressed in all black and an all black trenchcoat was approached by members of the Syndicate. Witnesses say the exchanged words and the man in black assaulted one of the men, resulting in the others pulling their weapons and the resulting firefight"

"Any idea as to who this mystery man may be yet?" Erick can be heard asking, the screen spliting to show him and Lisa at the same time.

"Yes, we just recieved the name of the man a few seconds ago, he is one John Izumi. A new resident to the city and someone that is said to have had run-ins with the Syndicate in other cities. We were not given anymore information on him and the local law enforcement agencies have begun to look for him"

The screen shifts to show just Erick again

Giant Monster Attacks!

Here with you live, it seems as if the balance of nature has been thrown off, as monsters from the Sea, Sky, and Earth are attacking Wing City, and other cities all over Terra! OH GOD ITS AFTER ME WHY

There was static now, as the broadcast ended with a cartoon drawing of a monster eating a truck. How would this end now?

The intro for the WCNN (Wing City News Network) plays, Erick Kelly is wearing a black suit this time as he speaks to the camera.

"Terror has again struck the city, this time there was an attempt on the life of Arabic general and acting president Kroger Haggai. The would be assassin was mercenary John Izumi. Who just happens to be the estranged son of general Haggai, Izumi attacked the general's convoy earlier today. Wounding many of his guards and killing at least 7. General Haggai himself faced down his own son in battle"

The network begins to show footage of the battle. Izumi charged Kroger with both of his katanas, resulting in Kroger pulling a sword of his own and blocking each attack that came his way. Izumi was able to kick Kroger in his chest and send him flying back a bit, he then charged Kroger and jumped in the air. Intending to come down on Kroger with both swords. His attempt was stopped as Kroger lifted his left hand and sent a purple ball of energy at Izumi. Sending him flying back and crashing through the window of a nearby building.

"Izumi was not found at the scene, witnesses say he fled the scene soon after just moments before the local law enforcement showed up. General Haggai who is currently running Saudi Arabia at the behest of the former president, and has been responsible for the occupation of many areas in Japan, China, and Russia by the Saudi military, had this to say"

The screen shifted to show Haggai after the battle. He had long black hair, tan skin, and dark purple eyes.

"I am very hurt that my own son would try something like this, I don't believe he would do something like this on his own. I ask that he is brought to justice so that we may get to the bottom of this, unharmed"

The intro for the WCNN (Wing City News Network) plays, Erick Kelly is wearing a white suit this time as he speaks to the camera.

"We go live to downtown Wing City, where General Haggai is getting to give a speech" Erick says.

The screen then shifts to show a podium and a stage, many citizens of Wing City and the multiverse have came. Kroger, his 2nd-in-command Najee, and a Japanese woman with two katanas on her back cross the stage, along with some of Kroger's soldiers. Kroger looks around and clears his throat.

"Citizens of Wing City and of the Multiverse, I have noticed something that is quite disturbing. Hate against those that are different, hunters that hunt Vampires, or Lycans just for being what they are. Kidnapping them and doing experiments on them in order to make them 'Human'. Now I have nothing against Humans of course, but against those that are ignorant and murder people for being something they can not help being"

Kroger looks at the audience for a second, remaining quiet. He then begins to speek again.

"This goes for the Vampires, Demons, and Lycans as well, stop slaughtering eachother. Please, so that we may live in peace. With the support of you, the people. That includes, Humans, Cyborgs, Nekos, Vampires, Lycans, Demons, all of you. We CAN achieve peace. And I bet you're wondering why I care so much for peace between the different races and types of peoples."

A tear can be seen rolling down Kroger's cheek

"Because I am what many would call a Vampire, and I don't want anyone going through what I did as a child. I'm lucky they didn't kill me like they did the rest, Allah wanted me to make you all understand. Understand that, we are together in our struggles. For ever and for always"

Kroger begins to wipe away more tears as he leaves the stage. The screen shifts back to a teary-eyed Erick.

"More.... At 6..."

The Emblem of a universal globe appearing with the words UUAN [Universal Alert and Attention Network] appears on the screen revealing a board of names and prices by their names, followed by an announcer appearing on screen.

"Hello Folks! Thanks for staying tuned with UUAN for the weekly update on new information on the most dangerous of things occuring in the Multiverse! Now today I have breaking news of a war occuring between the powerful race of the Xindih, and their nemesis Shu'fasa has occured and is now underway!" he would say as the screen flashed over to a large epic fist hitting the center of the screen, followed by the screen shaking.

"And that's not all! Oh no it's not! A universal call has been spread to several major nations to come together for some unknown cause! Who knows what could occur or happen, let alone come out of this catastrophe! Even more interesting, is how some of the nations are taking it! For example Trantors response! Certainly a truly epic event is about to occur and we simply have no idea what could happen. This means we stand on our toes." he would say as he then sighed and said.

"Last but not least, there seems to be a abnormal disturbance in space! After reaserchers and scientists examined space they have no idea what the disturbance could be, but a abnormal warping of space occuring everywhere taking out and completely wiping out civilizations in eye blinks! No one knows what could be possibly occuring here, some say its the work of a secret criminal organization, other say it is the S.I.N coporation that was just revealed to the public. No one knows for sure what could be causing this, but more on the S.I.N organization and updates on all of those universal events next week on UUAN!" he says as he then fades out of the screen, and the screen goes black followed by the emblem of a universe, and UUAN playing the normal theme song.

This just in from The United Broadcast System.

Reports from the Military UAV that had confirmed a large structure under the ice of Antarctica has been destroyed. When the crash site was found it had a single bullet hole in the vehicle.

"You heard that correctly, a single bullet brought down the UAV monitering the structure beneath the ice.
As well as the convoy loosing connection after finding the downed machine.
Further investigation is underway, yet all convoys or choppers sent in are lost within the first minutes of landing or deploying." The male figure on the hologram says, adjusting some papers on his desk. It is evident he is inside a military-vessel

"....They seem to be unable to reach the Aircraft carrier that had deployed the UAV.."

"Strange..We just had it up.." The male figure looks out the porthole of the craft he is in, gasping in shock. "Turn the camera! Look at this!" He shakes his head as the camera turns, looking out over the sea to another nautical vessel. The entire deck drenched in flames as two jets swoop by, only to have a single wing-shaped shadow fly straight through both of them, veering back at the ship and delivering a shot that exploded into the port side and thundered out the other like a volcanic eruption.

"Jesus christ! W-" The screen goes to static, then snaps back, able to catch the last glimpse of the shadow and the sinking War-ship. It's hull red hot and steaming against the cold waters as it fades into the abyss.

"N-" The hologram shows static, then snaps back again. "-o. This cant be happeni-" The camera turns to a large man in a gas mask and a leather trench. The Nazi Swastika on his arm band. His eye-ports glowed costantly as he fired a shot past the man's head, into the camera man's nose and out the other side of his head. He was dead before he felt anything. The man takes hold of the reporter's neck. Hoisting him upwards and choking him. The man gasped for air as the Nazi leaves, climbing up a ladder like the reporter was only a bag of chips and not a 35-40 yr old slightly fat and down on his ass reporter. The camera picks up one last thing, a swooping sound...a -TINK- and a small hole in the side of the wall, in a milisecond the camera was destroyed as this vessel also exploded like a Grey-Eruption volcano. The hologram ends. Only a Nazi Swastika could be seen on the screen.

We have recently received inelegance that GENERAL ERROR is mounting forces for a coup on Cyber City. Our sources tell us that Major Fail has been seen marching with the HTTP 500, and there have been sightings of Corporal Punishment among the ranks.

The exact intentions of this formidable force are unknown, where and when they plan to make their move is, as of yet, uncertain, but there have been small, isolated incidents of server malfunction that would suggest that they plan to assault the cyberspace network.

The BBC news theme plays as the camera pans around the Breakfast studio, fixing on the two presenters on the bright red sofa

"Good morning, you're watching BBC Breakfast with Charlie State and Kate Silverton. Our top story this morning."

The screen cuts to show an extract of a video message sent earlier that morning, showing a winged woman speaking to the people of Earth, and the other empires it was sent to

"Every government worldwide has received a message from yet another alien Empire, that has recently come onto the radar. They proclaim peace, a welcome change to many previous encounters with our neighbors beyond the stars. The following clip was sent to every major Empire or colony in known space."

The screen cuts again to the message, this time with sound, and the tape plays.


"Greetings, people of this world. I am Auraya Terra Moranis, the High Seat of the Ahrian Empire. You may or may not have heard of our people, but that is of little consequence, for I will tell you all now, and at request anything further you wish to know. Our Empire spans three Solar Systems, we are not the largest Empire nor the most powerful, and we have no interest in domination, only in peaceful interaction with the others in the Galaxy. We present this offer and request of a peaceful coexistence between our people, of prosperous trade and diplomatic relations. We will be sending ambassadorial teams to some of your Capitals, but if none is present feel free to travel to either Lorn in the Reemus system, Meridia in the Rovex system or our homeworld of Ahria in the Sylvara system. Thank you for your time."

The screen cuts back to the studio

The screen shuffles between static and darkness, the sound of alien voices could be heard in the background. They are unrecognizable and distorted.

Then the static 'snow' clears up, revealing a thin, gray skinned creature. Its large cranium is nothing compared to its even larger eyes. They blinked sideways, creating a grotesque 'squishing' noise.

There were a few bleeps and bloops as the strange alien's translator was analyzing the receiver's language.
"We are the Azerian of the Imperial Arm."
The voice was thick and medium pitched, it spoke slowly.
"We will unite this galaxy under one rule, the Suppression-est rule. We do not want war. We do not want peace. We want unity."

The translation ended there, more distorted noise, then nothing, nothing but darkness.

The intro for the WCNN (Wing City News Network) plays, the screen then shifts to show Erick Kelly. Erick is wearing green suit this time and clears his throat before speaking.

"Some strange things have happened recently here in Wing City, buisnessman Alex Andros (The Oro) has been reported missing. Andros is the owner of The Palace, a popular Wing City nightclub and hotel. Rumors have been floating around that Andros has decided to take sort of vacation, other rumors say that he is sick, nevertheless, these are still rumors not fact.

The screen shifts to The Palace's outside, it shows a bunch of people standing outside of the establishment.

"Andros is a Greek immigrant who came from another verse to escape the war in his own, after only a few years he opened up the club and hotel. It is said that he was funded by the criminal organization called the Invictus, a group native to his realm and his homeland of Greece."

The screen shifts back to Kelly.

"His wife, Elizabeth Rose could not be reached for comment and our reporters were turned away when trying to enter the Palace. The Palace's nightclub is to stay open 24/7 to give people the chance to experience the club at all times of day, Andros was going to make this possible in a few days. But, the general manager decided to open it up earlier for the public. He would not comment on Andro's disappearance, though he would go on to say: Mister Andros will be back soon, don't worry."

"More at 11:00.."

A reporter stands outside a rather large building with an unusual amount of soldiers guarding it. " This is Bob Gary from Silcon News. The building that I'm standing in front of is the Great Panjin hall where 5 leaders are meeting, President Shu Jun-an from the Nanjing Republic, Empress Shade de'l Quais from the Koramee empire, Zukov Vacilli of the United Soviet Alliance, and Merci Marche of the Argent Dawn. Today they meet to reform an accord that once fought the Du'Galle, whoever they were, and now they once again consider it as the threat of the Azerians or whatever they call themselves attempt to dominate the Red Techocracy, Trantor something, and other planets and whatever."

Cuts to another reporter by a van

" These Azerians claim that they are unity? Is that true? What are they, insects? And even bugs fight among themselves! They say that we are helpless without them. We crushed the Du'Galle imperialists with our own might, not of someone crazy person who want's to take over the universe! And they didn't come to our help when the Great Plague we known as Mortcrease came. No, we fended for ourselves. To what they say they gave us the advances, we developed the cure for Mortcrease. They are nothing but more imperialist bastards, they will be there form end to beggning reaping what we sow and not even paying us back." The reporter suddenly draws a Type-59 rifle and fires it into the air. " Long live the Nanjing Republic! Death to the Azerians." The reporter is then joined by other people in the crowd.

4 hours later...
A man emerged from the hall and took out a megaphone as a guard shot off his rifles to quite the crowd. " The leaders have agreed to support each other in this war against these imperial bastards! The moblization of the fleets and armies will begin in 72 hours. I urge all off you to join the fighting forces in order to repel these invaders and protect our democracy!" There was a sudden roar from the crowed as they stampeded to recruitment offices just as factories began working overtime to supply those new recruits. Ships in orbit had already massed and more and more were coming.

This just in!

Confirmed reports of Kommandant Ubel, leader of the Fourth Reich and many other Nazi heads of Military have boarded passenger jets, enroute to discuss the Alliance with those who seek to destroy the Alien threat!

You heard it here first!

"Kommandant Ubel, the Nazi Supersoldier and leader of the fourth reich. Killed in world war two, reborn shortly after, has attempted to join forces with the free peoples of the world. "

"Nazi ships have been sighted in orbit, ressembling giant black wings and armed to the teeth."

"Ubel had this to say."

The Video skips to an Audio tape of Ubel, a picture of the towering nazi in the background.

"Antarctica is ours, but that does not mean the rest of the world is, nor does it mean that we would sit by and let our planet be opposed by such a tyranical threat. My soldiers will fight. And they will win."

The tape cuts off.

Erick is shown speaking about a different story, he is wearing a grey suit as he speaks. After a few moments he stops and nods to someone offscreen.

"We have some news on an incident that took place late last night, a violent brawl and riot broke out in the streets of Wing City last night. The reasons for this fighting are at this moment unknown, but several different criminal organizations and other individuals are said to be involved with the fight."

The screen shifts to show the violent brawl, the scene is chaotic and loud. A few gunshots are heard followed by screaming and the sound of approaching police cars.

"As you can see, members of the Invictus criminal organization are involved and several others, including the Sinclair Syndicate." Erick says as everything goes on, "We are going to show you everything, so it is recommended that young children and those faint of heart not look at this."

The screen shows Izumi holding someone against a car and punching him repeatedly, four members of the Invictus PMC are seen running over and grabbing him. He throws a punch at one and knocks him down, prompting the others to use force.

"We've just gotten word that the man just shown, John Izumi is the instigator. You may all know Izumi as the formerly enstranged son of Kroger Haggai."

The screen finally goes back to show Erick after Izumi is shown being hit a few times in the body and head by his mercenary comrades.

"Hopefully things such as this will come to a stop soon."

The screen goes back to the fighing going on, the cameraman doing his best to get through to Izumi and the others amidst the chaos. The camera then falls and in the chaos it is smashed and the feed is lost.

"Oh.. Oh my.. I wasn't shown that before..."
