In light of the recent trade alliance with the Belkan Empire, the Erutin Empire has decided to open up it's borders to possible trade alliances with other nations. However, as the Erutin Empire is well aware, many of the nations that they seek contact with are sadly warring.

As a peaceful empire, and an empire new to this space frontier, they feel that they lack the knowledge required to make a wise decision concerning any battles in this realm.

They seek to reassure foreign nations that they will maintain their staunch neutrality and will not join in any wars unless they are directly attacked. The Erutin empire wishes to keep peace in their world and to avoid the mass death of innocents that war inevitably causes.

Empress Queen Wing invites those interested in peace to contact her ambassador Bamboo via the Terran Embassy her people have built. Any nation wishing to enter into a trade agreement wiht her empire is more than welcome to do so.

Weaponry however, will not be sold and bought by the Erutin empire, nor will other agents of War.

It is believed that the Erutin Interdimensional Trade Portal will be complete in one to two weeks time. Engineers are working on it now, and have placed the site for the portal near the planet Veritas. Again, further information is availible at the Terran Embassy.

Jar Killer Victim Found Dead

Beginning just last night the cops are on a case looking for what they call The Jar Killer. Details on the name were given by the chief of the wing city police after the department was given a Jam Jar of Human remians. The Remains seem to be one Reed Cooper, a meta-human, that lived in Downtown Wing City and was last seen going to Gambit’s Bar. As of yet there are no leads on who the killer might be since there was no DNA, Fingerprints, or any type of evidence found on the Jar. Forensic teams also tell us that the Jar contains not just a mixture of the victims remains but traces of Sulfric Acid and Drano. As of this morning another victim was found dead and the suspect is again the Jar Killer. The Strange thing about this find though was that police were called by an unknown at the Wing City Docks. Once the Police got to the crime scene all that remained was pieces of the victim stewing in the mixture of Sulfric Acid and Draino, but there was no signs of struggle or DNA evidence of anyone but the victim. The Police report that the Jar Killer is an exteremly dangrous Human that knows what he or she is doing or some type of Meta-Human. Details still Hazy but we’ll keep you updated on any news that comes up about the Wing City Jar Killer.

H. RUDOLF SCHULTZ MURDERED

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS -- HANS RUDOLF SCHULTZ, BETTER KNOWN AS H. RUDOLF SCHULTZ, DIED TODAY IN A CAR BOMBING ON THE CAMPUS OF THE Massachusetts Institute of Technology after teaching an evening course. Cambridge Police suspected the killing was targeted because there were no other cars present on the street where it occurred and a student walking nearby was unharmed in the explosion. News correspondents in Wing City and on the Aschen homeworld of Langara received copies of a statement from terrorist organization Hataf claiming responsibility for the attack. According to the missive, H. Rudolf Schultz was targeted because of his relationship to former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Natalie E. Schultz, who reportedly is now an agent of the Langaran Defense Agency (LDA). H. Rudolf Schultz, a professor of mathematics, is Natalie Schultz's father.

H. Rudolf Schultz was born in 1943 outside Stuttgart, Germany. He studied at Merz-Internat Schule, which had been founded in 1918 but was forcibly closed during the time of the Third Reich until reopening in 1945. After graduating from the gymnasium, H. Rudolf Schultz attended Universität Stuttgart, where he studied under the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. His graduate studies were at Oxford University. There, H. Rudolf Schultz met German-American Mara Schwartz, who was also a graduate student at Oxford, studying Near Eastern languages and civilizations. They married in 1967 and moved to Lexington, Massachusetts when H. Rudolf Schultz was offered a job as adjunct faculty at Tufts University. In 1970, the couple's daughter, Natalie, was born.

H. Rudolf Schultz moved his family back to Germany for the next twelve years before he and Schwartz divorced and their daughter, identified as profoundly gifted, graduated from the gymnasium and was accepted for undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. H. Rudolf Schultz completed postdoctoral work at MIT with world-reknowned mathematician David B. Almontaser and later collaborated on Almontaser's Nobel prize winning research. In 1985, H. Rudolf Schultz was offered a full-time teaching position within the Department of Mathematics at MIT, where he worked alongside Almontaser, the Department's chair. Although some of his research involved applied mathematics, in particular regard to the use of mathematics in warfare and weaponry, H. Rudolf Schultz never imagined his research would stoke enough controversy to incite anyone to violence over it. It seems he was wrong.

The message from Hataf claiming responsibility for H. Rudolf Schultz's murder threatens attacks against other family members of Aschen officials, including but not limited to former American officials now working in the Aschen government. Natalie Schultz is specifically named as a target for her continued operational strikes against the terrorist organization, both with the FBI and the LDA. Police have not released additional details regarding the murder. We have been asked not to reproduce Hataf's statement in full in order to avoid compromising the ongoing investigation.

After the divorce between World Renown Super Model and acclaimed Miss Multiverse, Aleksandra Varushka, and A List Actor Joesph Holden's speedy divorce, it seemed that the Russian woman had completely disappeared off the face of the earth. For three months Aleksandra had been escaping paparazzi. Not even her loyal and long term agent, Ramona Petrovski, could be contacted without difficulties. When attempting to speak with Public Relations employed by the Super Model they offered no comment on either the divorce or Alekandra's disappearance. It left the world stunned and on their toes. We all asked, "When would we see Aleksandra Varushka again?"

Recently Aleksandra has been spotted and with an unknown man at the backwater Gambit's Bar. Media across all of Terra are wondering who exactly is this violet haired man. No identification can be made so far which leaves everyone utterly in the dark, biting our nails in anticipation. Has the woman finally moved on from that horrific heart break? We were only able to gain very little insight when our reporters caught up with Aleksandra. Apparently she only claims him to be a good friend, but the pictures say otherwise folks. No friend kisses and clings to another like Aleksandra had been with her mysterious new fling. Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Multiverse has already kissed another man! We are all more than happy for the progression she's been making so far.

That just leaves the unanswered question of how Joesph Holden is going to react to all of this. Will jealousy flare up from Aleksandra's new hunky love interest, or will Joesph remain sulking in whatever hole he's been delving in after be rejected by producer after producer. Life must be hard on the D-List after a fall from the very top of the Movie Star Food Chain. Many people believe its what he deserves for treating the World's Most Beautiful Woman like trash. How could a man pass up someone like Aleksandra. It leaves us all baffled too ladies and gentlemen. Who knows what was going through his mind when Joesph had run off with the notorious promiscuous Natasha Harrell, who has also dumped the ex-actor out in the cold.

But why linger in the past with such good news. We're all routing for you Aleksandra Varushka.

Thursday evening the acclaimed Russian Model and Miss Multiverse was captured spending what seemed to be a date with a well known man in the acting industry, Kyle Summers. The two spent the evening at Gambit's Bar which had been renovated for the celebration of April's Fool Day. The talented stunt double met her that night and taught Aleksandra the ropes of roller skating. Sources say that it wasn't a planned meeting and the night was spent in total innocence but we could all see the sparks flying. Though with the latest development with the World's Most Beautiful Woman, the world has to wonder what exactly is going on through her pretty little head. What exactly are the goals of Aleksandra with dating not one, not two, but what appears to be three men at one time? Do these men even know about the others that Aleksandra has been seeing? So many unanswered questions but no answers found just yet. Miss Multiverse still refuses to give us any enlightenment on her situation.

Not only was Aleksandra Varushka seen with Kyle Summers on Thursday evening, but she was with that mysterious violet haired man the next morning. However, we didn't capture any photographs of the meeting except one which was taken quickly as the woman left the bar in tears. It appears that whatever went on in that shady Gambit's Bar had left Aleksandra brokenhearted. Had a break up occurred between the two lovers? Had it been love at all. What had been so shocking to Miss Multiverse that had her run from the building in complete distraught. Again resources haven't dug up any juicy details of what's going on between Aleksandra or even of this unknown man's name. A picture of him was attempted to be taken yet the reporter's camera mysteriously exploded in his hands after it was taken. Is the man that recently and most likely dumped Miss Multiverse not human? Yet another question without a single answer.

Miss Aleksandra Varushka was also seen with The Nameless Man but also another that the world did not even know existed. This one remains nameless as well to the masses leaving us further confused. However, this one is quite the charmer is appears as we captured a photograph of Aleksandra Varushka giving him a full lip on lip kiss! The couple shared that kiss for just seconds until words were passed between Miss "Multi-Men" and her date left for Gambit's Hotel! What a scandal. We know nothing of Aleksandra's courtiers but it seems that she is getting to know them very well. A few reporters stayed through the long evening all the way until the next morning where we snapped this notorious photograph of her leaving the room with nothing but a sheet wrapped around her and a sporting a black eye! Had Miss Multiverse chosen the wrong man and fallen into the hands of an abuser or had the night spent with that man been just too much fun for the fragile Russian Model?

So, Miss Multiverse, the people of Terra and beyond are curious as to what the hell you are doing. Why so many men and what exactly had happened behind closed doors?

The Erutin Empire and the Belkan Hegemony are proud to announce their trade alliance.

Empress Wing of House Erutin, and Emperor Josef Kampf are proud to announce their newly created trade agreement. They met today to finalize the contract between their countries. Both nations are firm in their desire for peace and can only hope that other nations follow in their foot steps.

Her Imperial Majesty released a statement on the trade agreement between their countries:

"I am pleased to say that Emperor Kampf and myself have created perhaps the first of many trade agreements. We have worked hard to open the gateway to our dimension, and I believe that the Erutin Empire and the Belkan Hegemony can only benefit from such peaceful endeavours. Emperor Kampf was a delightful guest and I can see only good things in the future of our nations."

Emperor Kampf arrived in Erutin using the newly built Veritas portal. The portal will not be open to the public for another week, and then only select nations will be allowed to access the portal.

Rough and ready Nick Erringer not “rush”ing back into next SNR studio release

For those of you waiting for the next studio album from alternative renegade band Silver Nitrate Rush, prepare to hold your breath a little longer.

SNR’s last major public appearance as a group came eight months ago when the edge-rock trio dropped the distortion and instead strapped on acoustics for a rare one-night concert event at the infamous Wing City club Bandit’s Cove. During that concert, much-maligned SNR frontman and guitarist Nick Erringer dropped the bomb – the band would be temporarily going their separate ways to pursue solo and side projects before even thinking about coming back to the studio for the band’s third major release.

“We all love the band,” Erringer told Tour sources when spotted at a Wing City nightclub two weeks after the controversial event. “We just need to recharge the batteries and get off the road and away from each other for a while. We’re like a bunch of brothers all stuck in the car on a family vacation. Doesn’t matter how much you like someone, spend that much time with them and you’re going to be going at each other’s throats. It’s a given.”

Conflict with bandmates is something Erringer knows all about. When Erringer was handpicked from the indie underground to replace Preston Surge as the lead guitarist of the long-running epic rock group FLAME!, the twenty-three year old guitarist immediately developed a rivalry with bandmate and legendary frontman Jackie Sheridan. When Sheriden refused to take the stage with Erringer after the guitarist made disparaging comments in the media about the flamboyantly-homosexual Sheridan, Erringer allegedly broke the door to Sheridan’s dressing room and assaulted the older man, leading to an arrest. Sheridan eventually dropped the charges – and Nick Erringer from the band’s roster.

An admitted habitual drug user, Erringer reportedly took the time away from music to check into a rehab clinic. The music world didn’t even know that the alternative artist was planning a return before the album Miss Demeanor hit shelves with Erringer leading the newly-christened Silver Nitrate Rush along with Septic Tank-alum Martin Fewel on drums and former solo artist Rocky Land on bass. Shaking up the music scene with the hard edge that reflect Erringer’s root more than the theatrical aspects of his work with FLAME!, SNR found immediately success and quickly followed their debut tour with the platinum album Watching the World Burn including the song “Up In FLAME!s” in which Erringer took more than a few shots at his former bandmate in Sheridan.

When cornered on the red carpet of last week’s Union of Recording Industry Artists’ annual award show, the reluctant frontman was hounded with questions of the secret new woman supposedly in his life, the return to the studio for SNR and his thoughts on the rocky political situation.

“We’ll get back when we get back. And if I told you who’s normally hanging on my arm at the end of the night, you wouldn’t be earning whatever cheap bills they’re paying you to write for these rags. Just know that you’re still one huge evolutionary step over anyone that puts on a suit and tries to run things around here. Every single one of ‘em can [expletive deleted] for all I care.”

Rumor has it that a special someone might have Nick on the up and up trying to clean up, but sources spotting the rocker around town have been unable to pin anyone to putting up with him for long.

Finally we have been able to capture Aleksandra Varushka the famous and perhaps "infamous" Miss Multiverse for an interview. Sitting down with her one on one you cannot help but to notice the changes in Aleksandra. There is something different about the woman and we got straight to all the juicy questions that have been dying to be answered. Our very own Jonathan Frick was the man lucky enough to be chosen for the interview.

Jonathan: So Miss Multiverse, you have the world hanging by a thread on why you had disappeared from the world and then suddenly re-emerged. What exactly was the cause for your hiatus and your move back to Wing City from New Amsterdam?

Aleksandra: Well, we all know that I recently went through a rather bad divorce with Joesph Holden, who cheated on me with that Natasha woman. I was emotionally destroyed and could not deal with the stresses of media during that time. I sat down one day and thought to myself,"I can't let the world see me struggle. I have to be strong for them." I did not want everyone to see how distraught I was over a man that did not deserve me—no woman deserves a man like that. As for the move, I got homesick and wanted to see just how much it had changed since I was a little girl.

Jonathan: That's very noble and respectable, Miss Varushka. I don't think we can be upset over a reason like that at all. So, what can you tell us about this violet haired man that everyone was whispering about?

Aleksandra: That is a dear friend of mine who has helped me through a tough time. I met him the week after I settled back in Wing City. We have grown very close in such a short time. It's like we were meant to be friends. I have much to thank him for. He's a very unique man and one of a kind. I love him very much.

Jonathan: Intimately or just as a friend? Can you tell us his name?

Aleksandra: Oh no, I just love him for being my friend. We have nothing romantic going on between us and will never have a romantic relationship. As for his name, I do not think that he would want it known. Unlike me, my friend is not keen on the media. You won't ever get picture of him so the paparazzi out there, I would suggest not even trying. It would be wise to listen to my advice too. He's not a man that you confront and get to walk away with your life. Though, don't mistake what I say. He's not some crazy, pyschopathic killer. He is just a man that wishes to be left alone.

Jonathan: Friends are always a good thing to have Miss Varushka. So what about Kyle Summers?

Aleksandra: There is nothing going on between me and him either. We just met for that one night and he taught me how to roller skate. I still have not gotten the grasp of it unfortunately.

Jonathan: So this latest picture we have captured of you, you're flipping off all the camera men and women. What was the reason behind that gesture?

Aleksandra: Living a life like mine and for so long Mister Frick, it gets tiring. I am like my violet-haired friend recently; I just want to be left alone and allowed to live my life without having to worry who is watching me over my shoulder.

Jonathan: I have to ask because we are all dying to know. You've been seen more than once with another mysterious man lately and seem to be rather ... attached to him. Who is he?

Aleksandra: That is Traith. We're recently a couple and really are attached to each other as you say—near inseparable actually. I cannot think of a recent time that we have not been around each other. I love him very much and do not think that I could ever love a man more than him. We share a very special bond and when I am around him the world changes into something beautiful beyond words. Traith is that man that every woman really wants deep down in their heart. I just have been the lucky one and got to have him.

Jonathan: What about the night you spent in the hotel with him and came out of your room with a black eye and no clothing?

Aleksandra: Let's just say that was a wild night of experimentation that we were not too careful about. One of the best times of my life actually.

Jonathan: So, do you plan on settling down with this man? By the look in your eye from you just speaking about it, it seems like its going to head that way very soon. Marriage? Children? What can we expect from this new relationship?

Aleksandra: We're taking it one day at a time.

Jonathan: Do you have any words for your ex-husband?

Aleksandra: Oh yes, indeed I do. "Fuck you".

The interview was concluded in laughter between Jonathan Frick and Aleksandra Varushka. He states that it was a very pleasant meeting with the woman and had him sitting on the edge of his seat the entire time. Frick comments and says to us right after Miss Multiverse left, "I thought I was going to die from being so nervous. You don't meet a woman like Miss Multiverse and not get nervous. I also had the impulse to buy her flowers and chocolates like some sappy romantic and I'm gay."

Drunken Mage Causes Commotion in Bar!

GAMBITS BAR 2:38PM Wing City Time - Witnesses reported a flock of ducks taking flight from second floor windows, while others report of the bar becoming an ice rink. Miss Multiverse's most recent addition to her list of haunts appeared to temporarily become host to a flock of singing, dancing rubber duckies and garden gnomes. Although the cause for the affliction was not immediately evident, witnesses reported that an alcoholically irresponsible mage may be to blame.

"I looked up when the music changed to an Irish Riverdance, or something like that and a footstool dancing to it." said one concerned citizen who has been coming to Gambit's for a year and a half now. "It's up there in my top ten strangest things I've seen around here."

The garden gnomes that appeared are reported to have begun their charade innocently, singing harmless folk tunes, before breaking down into lusty pole-dancing and sexually suggestive actions. A watching patron videotaped the encounter, where it's now gained viral status online under the name "Boner Gnomes."

Others reported that they saw a barking barstool, a dancing terrestrial octopus, and a clockwork deer. At one point giant tuna appeared and began to slap each other with sardines, much to the confusion of bar going patrons.

The Octopus was seen asking for a cigar with a rather strong British accent, repeatedly, calling customers of the bar 'old bean.' When the octopus' effort were apparently fruitless, it began to play the tamborine while singing Beetle's songs. Of the songs played by the Octopus was "Hey Mr Tamborine Man"

"I was approached by a rude octopus that asked me for a cigar and called me an 'old bean'. For shame! Then I looked around and there was some sort of ruckus... Something involving some little blue creatures and some sort of dancing footstool, I believe," stated Constantina Kuraitenshi, eye witness to the pandemonium.

Individuals made attempts to neutralize the magical rampage--a mage and a werewolf, both of whom seemed familiar with the offending individual. "What I think must have been his apprentice was throwing ice magic everywhere to freeze some of these things and making a strained effort to get the man to drink coffee. Tsh, yeah--the last thing we needed was a caffeinated drunk mage!" said one man that had been working at Gambit's for only three weeks.

The remains of the broken mechanical brass deer were found behind Gambit's, no doubt brought there by the loyal janitor of Gambits, Slavko Kotovskiy. The rubber ducks were also found there, occasionally still singing a few badly off key notes, entirely unsynchronized.

The reports of singing Lawn Gnomes however was reported by several bar patrons that the Gnomes singing needed some work. It is also worth noting that these Gnomes are in no way dangerous to humans and are in fact part of the Garden Gnome Tabrenacle Choir, as was later reported by a SpokesGnome.

When Wing City News arrived at the scene they found that magic was indeed on the loose as their pens changed somehow into dandelions, Wing City News Network also sent a crew ot the scene and their camera men reported their cameras quacking like duckie, and one of the drivers reported duckfeathers coming from the air vents within the many newsvans.

A few patrons also reported seeing what might have been a man sized ape dive on a table, apparently in pursuit of something. Some patrons reported the broken table rebuilding itself. There was also a report of some localized sesimic activity in the area, nothing to be alarmed about from what we are told.

At one point, what witnesses report as being a "midget wizard", a council of knights and a strange demonic entity entered the bar and attempted to dispel the continuing chaos. Unfortunately, none of the would-be rescuers proved succesful.

Citizens outside of the establishment are recommend to keep their heads lowered and avoid looking up due to a large flock of ducks seeming to fly from the second floor front windows of the establishment. Authorities have declared that these ducks are not for hunting.

“Is the camera on?”

“... Yes, it’s recording.”

“Oh!”

A young woman, dressed in a lace interwoven cream blouse coupled with a navy knee-length skirt, dashes into view presumably from behind the camera stand, looking a little flustered as she took a seat in one of the vacant chairs before the camera. There was a little jug of water and two empty glasses on a table in the middle.

“When...”

“Any minute now, Honesty.”

A flash of nervousness and then the sound of a door opening out of shot.

Off-camera there is the sound of a door opening. Uneven footsteps, shot through with the softly distinctive tapping of a medical crutch approach and a tall, thin man makes his way into view. He is dressed smartly in a pale suite, well polished shoes and a red tie, his hair slicked back away from his face, which is overly pale. He is, however, smiling.

“Good afternoon; I’m sorry I’m late.”

He takes a seat without asking for permission, settling his legs carefully before putting the crutch to one side and finally offering the young woman a second, encouraging smile.

The young woman smiles back warmly, leaning forward. “Good afternoon Mr Castle. We’ve got plenty of time still.” Her eyes follow the man’s movements but there is no comment made.

“Shall I get right to it, or would you like a drink first?” The tone was polite, with a friendliness to it seldom found in reporters these days.

He smiles, but waves her comment away with a friendly hand. “No need, though thank you for the offer. There was copious amounts of tea at my previous meeting; any more and I’ll be drowning in it.” When he speaks, he seems to be repeating his words in sign-language of some sort.

“We can begin right away, if that’s all right with you; it’s certainly fine by me.” He laughs, a little self-conscious. “And feel free to tell me to stop if I’m talking too much; I really am terrible once I get started.”

The perhaps expected laughter was soft, Honesty’s smile turning into a grin as realisation came, settling back into her chair and scooped the little clipboard with pad attached into her hands.

“I don’t mind that at all, sir. I’ll probably stop you if I think something should not be recorded though! Anyway, thank you for speaking with me today Mr Castle and giving the citizens of Wing City and Terra the opportunity to discover more about the Terran Health Service and its associated organisations.”

There was a click as her pen was tapped against the wooden support. “So, what prompted this massive delving into what seems to be a relatively unknown sector for you, Mr Castle?”

Despite still smiling widely, there was something in Mr Castle’s demeanour that seemed faintly sad. His hands still mimicked his words, apparently subconsciously as he spoke. “I wouldn’t say ‘unknown’ exactly, even if the management side of things is. I was a doctor, in my day, before I was forced to retire, so I do have an insight, as you might say. Medicine has always been important to me, though I haven’t practiced in a very long time. When I came to Wing City, I was shocked to find that there was no official medical system in place already.”

He shakes his head. “It didn’t seem right, when there were so many people. At first, I wondered if it was as a result of some sort of war, but that theory was easily disproved. It worried me, it still worries me, to be honest, which is why I started this venture. I struggle to understand why a place with so much conflict has no health care.”

For a moment he contemplates his own thoughts, hand tapping on his knee. “I discovered a charity, created in memory of a girl killed in Wing City; the founders hoped that her death would raise awareness of the lack of medical aid in the Multiverse. With the help of my company, they have been able to actualise that desire.”

Surprise slackened the interviewer’s features, momentarily speechless, though every word seemed to be noted by the recording camera, if not by Honesty. “So, a background in the field and an honourable foundation for a desperately needed solution.” A genuine smile. “It is true that Wing City and Terra on the whole, isn’t exactly known for its peace.”

The grin faded as notes were flicked through, with a small cry of success as the interview continued on. “Ah yes, Miss Anja O’Connar. One of many unfortunate lives lost as a result of no established healthcare system.” The sadness in her eyes looked sincere, blinking rapidly a few times before continuing. “Tell me, what can the people of Wing City expect from the THS?”

“It’s hard to know if any who died could have survived with timely intervention, but it’s clear that some most certainly could have. The violence that has swept across this city has decimated a great many lives and I personally find it shocking that injured parties seem to find stumbling into the local bar a viable option. In any other civilised world this would seem barbaric, but it has been allowed to continue here for years. When I arrived her I had no idea how bad things were, I must admit, and I found myself a a bit of a loss when it came to what to do.”

His smile became rather rueful, and he chuckled softly. “Like the vast majority of human beings, I decided that someone else would obviously fix it, at first, but after a while it became apparent that nobody was going to. I still thought about doing nothing, because setting up something so vast is a very time consuming, labour intensive project, but once the idea was in my head I couldn’t get it out again.

“Finding Anja’s charity was like a sign, if you’ll pardon the- well, term, if you-” He cleared his throat. “Sorry,”

Laughter, followed by a waving of a dismissive hand in the direction of Horatio Castle. “Not at all! It’s good to know you feel so strongly about this cause; it means those who are going to put their health into your service’s hands know that their choice is not going to be an incorrect one.”

Enthused would describe Honesty’s expression well enough, clearly not really paying attention the film crew around them any more. “Like a sign that your idea had to be fulfilled, yes?”

Horatio seemed to struggle out of his embarrassment for a moment before speaking, a little quieter than before. “Yes. Before my... passion, you might say, wasn’t in normal medicine. I did a great deal of aid work, in some of the most deprived areas of the world. It shocked me to see Wing City, a place that appeared so- advanced, to have as much medical care as a country stricken by natural disaster. Honestly, the care available is less than you would find in an emergency medical camp and half of the healers here have only a very basic idea of what they are doing.” He laughed a little. “Fred McCarno...

“Ah, sorry, I really should remember I’m on tape.”

“I’m pretty sure that’s the reason we have an editing team, so we can ramble on and then just cut out the nonsense later,” came the reply from the young, energetic interviewer, though her expression was anything but amused. Deadly serious, in fact. “I come from England myself and I agree, to see such a low level of public healthcare in such a place, it shocked me as well.”

There was a chuckle from quite close to the camera, though Honesty appeared not to notice, setting her pen down at the top of her clipboard before continuing, gesturing animatedly as she spoke. “But, as I was saying before we derailed, what can people expect from the THS now that it is established?”

“As an Englishman, I grew up accustomed to free health-care for everyone, and a non-discriminatory attitude towards those with little money, in poor social position, or even of questionable morality. This is not something that I have found here; in its absence I’ve found people suffering and dying through want of medical care that is available readily in other places.I want to bring this to the Multiverse. I want to eradicate the need for backstreet saw-bones and badly controlled wizards doing botch-job, armature surgery on the tables of the local bar. I want everyone, anyone! to be able to access health-care if they need it. The THS can do this, or at least, it’s me belief that it can.

“I won’t lie; this is a very expensive operation, but I believe that with our sponsors, and some of Castle Corp’s assets, we can make the venture cost effective.”

“You’re making Wing City seem like Victorian England with all those archaic methods of surgery and healing!” Honesty seemed a little too aware that her thoughts had escaped into the verbal, looking a little chastened, which was captured forever on film. “I mean... yes, it is quite a venture but evidently, when looking at other successful healthcare systems, the rewards vastly outweigh the negatives.”

The expression on her face was telling that Honesty hoped she had recovered that without too much damage. “That’s good news, certainly. Bars... are not the best place to be going for medical assistance. How are staff numbers, as I expect you’ll be acquiring patients by the dozen?”

Horatio quirked his lips into a humorous angle at her slip, but didn’t comment on it verbally. He was clearly aware though, and found it amusing. “Originally, I took on a skeleton staff, so that the main hospital would be functional at the time that it became open to the public. It was, and still is, for the most part, uncertain how this will be received. The Multiverse has gone without medical care in an organised format for a very long time, so suddenly introducing a system is likely to cause some level of unrest. It’s very possible that there won’t be any patients for quite some time, but of course, I have people ready should there be those in need of our services.

“At the present, the banks are open, and we are hiring right across the board, from medics to cleaners and catering staff. So far, we have had several applicants, which is pleasing. It’s important to point out that several positions that have been opened involve a bastardisation of human and veterinary medicine; given that some of the people that populate this place are rather animally inclined, and without meaning to cause offense, it seemed prudent to combine skill-sets, as it were.”

He looked marginally embarrassed, running a hand across the bridge of his nose for a second in silence. “Even if our patient load remains small, I think it is worth the effort put in, just to help those few people who are in need of medical care and unable to get it any other way. One day, I hope that everyone can come to turn to our service for the assistance they need, rather than coping with medicine in the backstreets.”

Honesty looked pleased at that, nodding at appropriate times but never once seeking to interrupt until it was clear the man was finished, hands resting in her lap clasped with eyes turned attentively towards him. “Well, this interview will notify people to the recruitment drive and I’m sure there are a great number of unemployed specialists and indeed, trainees, would could benefit from the experience of a fledgling practice, especially one that deals with so many different cases. So far, I’ve not heard anything about any direct opposition, though you must be concerned that by offering free healthcare, you might put independent private healers out of work?”

The young woman leaned back, setting her clipboard aside on the table with the unused glasses. “How would someone go about contacting the THS if someone does require care, be it emergency or more long-term?”

Horatio didn’t look put out, but there was some shadow of an emotion on his face. “In fact, there has already been some opposition to this system; new private healers signing on patients with fervour, talk of the downsides of hospitals and their staff. We have no intention of putting anyone out of their jobs, and there will always be some demand for alternative treatment in a world such as this one. And what I want to stress is this: our doors are always open to staff as well as patients; healers of any form are a vital resource, so the idea of someone being put out of a job by the new system is- I don’t want to see that happen. There are jobs for willing employees, and training available free of charge; we value our staff as much as we value our patients.”

Getting off track again, he made an apologetic gesture with his hands. “I’m getting a little sidetracked again... uh, as to the contacting of- I. Ah. Excuse me. If someone is looking to contact us all they need do is call the emergency services; we operate on all standard numbers and there are operators on the switch board at all times. They need only make a call and their case will be responded to promptly. We have a range of emergency transport systems in place, and paramedic teams are in place to be sent to the scene of emergencies.

“In terms of less urgent care, we have opened an Accident and Emergency department, as well as out patient and in patient services.”

There was a small smile on the young intern’s face, nodding gently as the words came, genuine for all that the camera recording could tell, waving his apology away with a hand of her own. “I think any structure we had went out the window about two questions ago, Mr Castle. You seem to have created a widely accessible service and one we can only hope people take full advantage of, in terms of care and employment.”

Her legs crossed over and there was a subtle - so not to be rude - glance at her clipboard, grinning up at Horatio moments afterwards. “Is there any more information you’d like the public to know before we finish?”

Horatio chuckled, still looking minutely embarrassed. “No, I think that’s everything, actually. At the moment, Wing City General Hospital is still very new, but the staff are in place even as we speak so that patients can arrive as and when they need to. Even without patients, the hospital will remain open with a skeleton staff, as it should; there will never be a situation when Wing City is wanting for medical care and none is available again.”
He smiled, offering his hand to her. “I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this possible, and I hope that the system that has now been put in place lasts for as long as the Multiverse needs it.”

Honesty leant forward, taking the pro-offered hand and shaking it warmly. If no one else seemed grateful for the way that Horatio Castle had used his money to benefit others, she certainly did. “Glad to know I’m good enough at my job to leave no stone unturned. Thank you as well for your efforts and for allowing us to interview you about the THS and for the record, I cannot see your staff being idle for long in Wing City. It’s been a pleasure, Mr Castle.”

Horatio nodded and smiled. “It most certainly has; you did fantastically, Honesty.”

The scene fades as the camera cuts out to return to the news broadcasting.

Following negotiations between the interstellar Coalition and the Fledgling Terran government, Lelantus Haima has signed an alliance with the DC. Among other things, this has allowed the great spacestation, the GodFlower, to return to Terran space, under the proviso that it is manned only by the Terran-born detatchment of the DC's forces. Led by freedom fighter Darren Morgath, it is assumed that they will work as a joint force, helping both their homeland and the Coalition that had taken them in.

Commander Morgath himself was quite surprised at this turn of events, but he would not be interviewed as of this moment. The diplomat responsible for this surprising deal was also unavailable for comment, and as of yet we have been unable to get any comment from the DC's side.

However, this alliance will surely help if the Aschen do attempt to go through with their threats. As the DC has a formidable army. We pray and hope it does not come to this, we also hope that the DC, having already killed a high ranking member of the Hataf, will help to eradicate the terrorist organisations that plague this fair planet.

We have no more information currently, but we will get back to you when details are confirmed.

The video starts, with the reporter, clearly happy, on the bridge of a large space-cruise ship. With a perky blond bobcut, a bright smile, and clear blue eyes, Sandra Day is ready to go. Behind her is a large, long window, stars shining and a red planet visible to the right hand side of the window. To the left of the reporter is a large metal ring, with light nodes on it periodically, to mark it for a clearer view.

On one of the red planets moons is a small building, visible from the ship, but at this distance it seems only the size of a fingernail. The moon, oblong and brown, is visible through the empty circle of the gate. Sandy starts speaking, a big smile on her face the entire time.

“Hello, Sandra Day here, on the Nova, the news cruise ship of the century. Behind me, you can see the cross-dimensional gate built by the Erutin Empire to allow ships to come to their galaxy. For the inaugural opening, the Erutin Empire is allowing a small news vessel through. We will be able to report the sites of the Erutin Empire on the other side, and the reported have even been granted an interview with Her Imperial Majesty Wing!
This gate is intended for use of tourism and trade. The Erutin Empire is more than happy to trade with any nation, according to their press releases, and will remain neutral in the current conflict, in a frankly refreshing political standpoint.”

The lights are lowered and Sandra grins, as there is just enough lighting to see her by. “It’s starting. The Nova will not, unfortunately, be going through, however the smaller news ship, the Comet, will make this first cross-dimensional trip.”

The Comet, a smaller ship who’s design harkens back to the days where space flight was only a dream, is approaching the gate. There must be some sort of communication occurring between the Comet and the controllers on the oblong moon, as the gate powers. Electricity seems to arc between each nod, one by one, in a brilliant blue streak of lightening starting at the top. Second after this circuit is complete a large shimmering field appears in front of the gate, a spectacular lightshow of blue, green, purple, and white. The Comet approaches steadily but slowly. Within fifty yards of the open gate it disappears entirely. The gate remains open a few more minutes, and then closes, the light seeming to collapse inward.

Sandra is wide-eyed and clearly wowed by what she has seen. There is no sign of the comet on the other side. There is nothing to show that anything has happened, except the light nodes are perhaps brighter than before, but even that is fading.

“Oh wow. The Comet is through. This is Sandra Day, and I can’t wait to hear the first report back from those lucky reporters on the other side.”

The video begins with a montage of the Comet flying to right, a suitcase coming over to cover the tail of the Comet up from the left and from the top of the screen, the Erutin national symbol twirls into place. This fades revealing a pretty brunette reporter, her hair in gently waves to her shoulder. Green eyes and looking into the camera. In the background is a typical space viewport. The stars would not be in any position known to astronomers from the dimension containing Wing City. In the background a blue planet is sitting. Landmasses and weather patterns could be seen from their position.

"Hello, everyone. This is Melissa Grant, reporter aboard the Comet. I want reassure all out viewers that we have made it through the gate just fine, and that we are safely on our way to the nearest trade planet." She grinned slightly as a tall African male entered into camera's view and took a seat about a foot away from her, turned toward her, slightly, though his face would still be clearly visible in the video.

"I'm A-Okay, and I have someone for you all to meet. This is Traveler Stone, our guide about this galaxy. Stone, what can you tell us about the sights we'll see on this whirlwind tour of your people's empire?"

"A great many things, Melissa." He said with a grin and a laugh. His hair was cropped close to his head, and he had a pair of goggles around his neck. Beyond that, he wore a khaki tank and desert camouflage pants. "Our first stop is going to be one of our major trade hubs, the planet known as Ginoruru. That translates to Surf and Sand, believe it or not, and beyond trade, this is a major tourism planet for our people."

"Surf and Sand! Now I see why I was told to bring a swim suit! I can't wait to see more. So where's the second planned stop, Stone?" Melissa asked, clearly getting into the interview. It was clear that despite the initial bit of nervousness in the video, she was absorbed by her job. She turned attentively to face Stone, though three-quarters of her face was still visible.

"Our second stop is a planet who's name translates to Green-Green. As you can imagine, it is just that. We maintain hunting lands there, camping grounds, and a lot of agricultural land as well. Much of our produce is grown on this super-sized planet." Melissa seemed less enthused by this planet's description, but still smiled brightly and soldiered on, her excitement growing.

"Now I understand with have two more stops on our tour?"

"That's right Melissa. Our third stop is the second planet we colonized. You'll be able to see a lot of beautiful architecture there, and some wonderful pieces of our history. It was on this second planet, that we developed a unified government. It's the seat of a great many of our government offices as well, and any nations establishing an embassy are welcome to build on there."

"And I can't wait, Stone, do you mind if I tell our viewers what the fourth and final stop on our tour is?" At Stone's negative response, she turned to face the camera, and smiles brightly, clearly enthused. "The fourth and final stop that Erutin Travel Alert will be making on this whirlwind tour is on the Erutin home world, where we will be allowed to speak with and interview Her Imperial Majesty Wing. Stay tuned, I'm told we'll be moving pretty quick!"

She and Stone smiled for the camera, which switched off after playing a reverse of the original opening sequence.

A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE MONTESQUIEU NEOSTEEL CORPORATION

A formal address to the Press at 14:00 today, as dictated by Branch President Ayama Yee Nervena. Mr. Nervena was making his announcement at the front of the reconstruction of Montesquieu Towers, former global headquarters for the company before its destruction at Wing City Plaza.

Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the press. I had called this conference today to address an issue within your still very young government that hinders its ability to properly function to provide commercial traffic, travel and communications from one sector of your planet to the ones neighboring it. Though this proud metropolitan community of Wing City has seen some of the greatest and most advanced projects behold in any universe, galaxy and even in some cases dimensions ever observed to be recorded into human events; it is not only disheartening, but overly disenchanting to find that so many areas even surrounding the city are not even properly connected.

Terra as a whole, has suffered from great infrastructure decay. UCON, Aschen Confederacy, Taiyou Empire, Confederacy of One Hundred Lions, these are merely to list of few of these political factions that have held dominion over this world for a very long time. Their construction of roads and links that were effective, but not connected has left the current administration ruling the planet with a system of travel that are either incompatible, outdated, unusable, or too expensive or power demanding to operate.

We of the Montesquieu Neo-Steel Corporation recognize this is not the Terran Government’s complete doing and fault, but it does not excuse the fact that such functions are necessary for any civilization that wishes to maintain business ventures to survive and prosper. Thus today, where the government is lacking, it is the way of business and the private sector to pick up.

Today, I would like to announce the start of an initiative to improve and connect the diverse infrastructure of the Planet of Terra. This initiative will be known as the Coalition of Public Interest Towards the Advancement of Terra or ‘CPITAT’. We wish to invite all business from both space and local sectors, from the smallest company to the highest conglomerate to join our banner… Not in the service, or socialism, but in an opportunity of growth, prosperity and an ambition project that will seek to earn fortunes to all that participate in its execution. Galactic Roman Empire Builds Massive GateStation.

For the last couple of months the Galactic Roman Empire has been unknowingly building a massive GateStation. Using what seems to be like thousands of imported slaves and Roman workers this GateStation was being built under the cover of stealth technology. So why all the secrecy for this project, and why would the Romans just now come clean on this? We have a chat with the Son of Emperor Romulus Caesar himself aboard the newly built and massive GateStation.   
Reporter Jane Keeler sits with Titus Son of Emperor Romulus Caesar in a large staff room. The room was designed in a modern style but with pictures of Rome and the Roman flag.

  

Jane Keeler: So Titus the first question I have for you is one that has been asked all around Terra. Why all the secrecy when it came to such a project like this one?

Titus: This Space Station we have built for the past months without break was my Father’s idea. He wanted something done to help bridge the gap between our two universes. This GateStation as you call it will help reduce the amount of energy and resources it takes to transport vessels to this universe. We hope this will help increase trade and other economic outlets like Tourism.

Jane Keeler: So this is just a GateStation for trade and tourism, and has nothing to do as a possible station for war?

Titus: Not at all my Father and I have tried out best to maintain peaceful relations with Terra and the surrounding empires and nations. I’m not known as the “Son of Peace” for nothing.

Jane Keeler: So if this just a GateStation to help increase trade and tourism between you and other nations why all the security measures?

Titus: I don’t think I follow you Miss Jane.

Jane Keeler: Massive amounts of Shield Generators and the entire thing being made of some of the most laser resistant metal. Not to mention the amount of security detail that seem to outnumber the actually staff, and the number of energy weapons that line the exterior of the space station. This station itself is as big as one of America’s small states as well.

Titus: Jane after spending the time I have in this universe and almost being pushed to war by different factors I find these measures to be extremely wise. This universe isn’t a safe one and not all the nations here have gained our complete trust. So the security will remain the way it is and shall increase or decrease as my Father or I see fit.

Jane Keeler: So whats the next move for the Galactic Roman Empire?

Titus: We hope to maintain peaceful ties with the people of Terra. From the moment I set my gaze on your world I knew that it was Rome’s duty to protect it and become its ally. I would also like to have nice little event in the Wing City Arena. I shall import Rome’s finest Gladiators very soon and if the people of Terra will allow I will host Gladiatorial games. It will free of admission fees and anyone who would like to compete may do so if it is their wish.

Jane Keeler: Well thank you for your time Titus, but before I go what what is the name of this new GateStation?

Titus: It will be known as The Mercury Station as my Father has named it.

Tech Con coming back to Terra? What is Hagan thinking?

Tech Con bucket-wheel excavators begin the process of mining trinnium.

TERRA: Tech Con, with the lifting of the Embargo on Terra, has already begun to once again establish mining operations on the planet. With a recent discovery of large amounts of Tri-Strontium, which is a metal that is valuable in the construction of the famed REVERENCE IIs, the Aschen have once again taken an interest in the mineral wealth that is Terra. That comes with an announcement from Miles Hagan, that Tech Con has no intention of exploiting Terra's Sovereignty, and vows to help preserve the planet's sovereignty whenever possible.

However, Mr. Hagan also issued a statement explaining that Tech Con will be employing PMCs to protect it's assets. And have authorized those PMCs to use lethal force wherever possible, so people at Gambit's can expect to see an increased presence of security, though not Aschen Military, the PMCs will exercise broad authority on all matters regarding Tech Con property, and interests on Terra.

Here we have an interview with Tech Con CEO, Miles Hagan.

Jalen Tyran So, Mr. Hagan, I'm glad you could join us here in this interview, so tell me, I assume you want to get to the nitty gritty. Why did you decide to come back to Terra?
Miles Hagan Well, Terra has a wealth of mineral resources, on top of a budding economy, and corporate opportunity. I just couldn't pass up the chance to buy nearly every corporation on the planet.
Jalen Tyran I see, what does that mean for the Terran Liberation front, and Terra's cries for sovereignty?
Miles Hagan Tech Con respects the sovereignty of any world, and we will work closely with the Terran and Aschen governments to ensure that Terra remains sovereign, and protected from threats both internal and external.
Jalen Tyran So, Tech Con has no intention of exploiting the Terrans or their sovereignty?
Miles Hagan No, Absolutely not, Tech Con respects the governmental sovereignty, however we are concerned with the recent treatment we have been getting from our Coalition allies, I mean.. 90% tax? That's just basically flat out refusing business, consequently, Tech Con will not be moving any of it's business to UCON in the foreseeable future. It's unfortunate, but such is the consequence of a xenophobic nation.
Jalen Tyran I see, Mr. Hagan, what are the allegations that you're going to be running for president, against Roslin?
Miles Hagan The rumors are true, I do plan on running for office. I plan on bringing change to the Confederation, securing it against enemies both foreign and domestic. I am going to cut out the spending on foreign personnel, both in the government and on bases. Which means I will work to keep an entirely Aschen Government force, for example... there's a Terran working in an unnamed LDA Force, why would a Terran have any interest in Aschen defense?

I think it's absurd that the Government just.. hires them. It's a time bomb waiting to go off, so following my election to office, I will be cutting the 'Terran Fat' from Government spending, keeping jobs here.. in the Confederation.
Jalen Tyran Mr. Hagan, that sounds like a great idea, although some would argue against that, we have Terrans working as intelligence agents within the LDA, infiltrating terrorist groups and siphoning information back to us.
Miles Hagan That's what they want you to think, the truth is Terrans in the LDA have done nothing good, we haven't learned what we don't already know. It's a waste of cubits that could be going elsewhere. Take for example our school system, which is running a budget deficit, money that is being sunk into Terrans, should be going to those schools. No If ands or buts about it.

It's just obscene how many cubits are sunk into people like... well people I can't name here, and yet they've done nothing for us, and for all we know, they could be working against us, to undermine the Confederation as a whole from within. I won't allow it.

Tech Con sees increased presence on Terra; Miles Hagan runs for office

CAPRICA CITY – In a recent announcement, Leonite personality, Miles Hagan has announced that he's going to be running for office. Spouting a

corruption in the Roslin Regime, and issuing a series of statements claiming that the Roslin administration is coddling to foreign powers while allowing

foreigners to undermine the Aschen Confederation. He has even gone so far as the claim that the LDA is employing several Terrans, whom are actively working

to destroy the Aschen Confederation. Hagan claims that the government is sinking money into these people, where money could be used elsewhere.

Tech Con has been ramping up the presence on Terra as of late, extending it's services to Terrans and even going to cooperate with the Wing City Police

Department in assisting it to handling Terrorists, and those whom need to be confined in a higher-security facility.

Tech Con has also stepped it's security presence up with the deployment of armor and air support to Tech Con locales on Terra, citing 'Terrorism in every corner' as the reason for the increased Tech Con Presence on Terra.

Tech Con seeks to acquire Reverence II Blueprints from Aerospace Dynamics

Tech Con has been working in the last several weeks, in a series of deals with the Shipbuilding Company based out of Tal'dor, Aerospace Dynamics, to acquire
the rights to build the Reverence II, which is estimated, the deal will run into the trillions of Cubits. Aerospace Dynamics CEO stated that “Tech Con will likely
be allowed to produce one of the Reverence II's but Aerospace Dynamics is committed to holding it's contract with the Aschen High Space Command, and we
will fulfill that contract.” Despite Hagan's persistence, Aerospace Dynamics has remained strong, backed by Tal'dor's Anti-Monopoly laws, which prevent Tech
Con from initiating a hostile takeover of Aerospace Dynamics.

Stylizing himself by the adopted last name 'Lessard,' Waters has killed at least 150 people that are known, forty-eight of which are victims of the Wing City General Massacre this previous November, and it is uncertain who else may have fallen victim to this insane child vampire. The child is also believed to have engaged in the black market sale of the intestines and functional organs of his victims.

According to the killer himself, he 'only killed people nobody'd miss.' Included in this description were the homeless and prostitutes of all kinds, along with many single men and women with no apparent connection with his family. A full list of names will be provided as soon as the full list is divulged, though it is uncertain who is and is not a victim of this mad child.

A beast in his actions, the child himself appears younger than his age, and does not look dangerous at all. Indeed, he is scrawny, pale, and weak looking at absolute best. The young vampire nonetheless possesses considerable power; having the ability to disappear and teleport at will in the cover of a shadow. For this reason, Tech Con and the WCPD took careful measures in detaining and transferring the criminal.

The arrest was made by Randin Kaye of the WCPD, a frequent adversary to the young killer. At one point, it is known that Detective Investigator Kaye took the child into the city's vampire rehabilitation clinic, where he hoped to reform the child into a respectable citizen. Parson remained there for a period of two weeks before being declared fully stable and ready to re-enter society.

Waters has been arrested before, and was declared mentally unstable by psychiatric professionals. He was taken to the Carthurian High Security Institute for the Criminally Insane, a special institute for the mentally unstable non-humans that exist. The insane child apparently had allies on the outside who broke into Carthurian and released large numbers of criminally insane non-humans in there 'rescue' of the child. Carthurian is rebuilt, however the boy will not be held there.

Declared criminally insane by the courts, Waters is currently being held at Keplar Mental Asylum until his court date. It is believed Keplar may become his permanent home.

The child vampire is charged with 102 counts of murder, and undisclosed counts for the following: attempted murder, illegal organ harvesting, the illegal sale of organs, blood trafficking, damage of private property, kidnapping, slavery, feeding on humans, criminal mischief, feeding without consent, resisting arrest, fleeing from an officer of the law, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault, battery, escape charges, damage of public property, and suspected criminal theft charges. Detective Kaye declined to comment when asked about Parson's condition.

Nonetheless, many citizens have come forward to express their relief in the capture of Waters. The young vampire left behind a notorious legacy of death, leaving many families without loved ones.

"I hope the mother**** burns," states Amelia Wineheart, who's grandmother, Betra Wineheart was an alleged victim of the serial killer, "I think I speak for everyone when I say the bastard's rampage has gone on for too long." With 102 dead, Amelia's sentiments are not entirely unshared.

Fellow citizen, and family member to another of Waters' victims, Antonio Rodriguez, 52 , had this to say. "He killed my daughter and her fiance. They were engaged to be married. There's no body. There's not even a record of a body!"

Although Detective Kaye persisted to decline to comment when asked about his feelings concerning Waters' arrest, the emotions of the murderers' victims are quite clear. For now, Parson is safely locked away, unable to do anymore harm then he already has. It is the fervent prayer of many that he remain in such a condition for the rest of his life.

THE TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT, as the TERRAN LIBERATION FRONT shall henceforth be known, in an effort to streamline the transition from non-governmental organization to sovereign state entity, pledges to make open and transparent the dealings of its officials as far as possible without endangering national security. To this regard, you may expect regular* updates from your government in order to be made aware of current events that might affect you.

Thanks to the rebuilding efforts of OmniCorp and ordinary Terran citizens, Terra is beginning to recover from the abominable glassing of the planet. Thanks to the cooperation of the Democratic Coalition and the Republic of Mutalistan, terrorist attacks by Hataf in and around Wing City have not occurred since the assasination of H. Rudolf Schultz last month by Hataf operatives. This is not to say that Hataf is no longer a threat to the stability and continued security of a sovereign Terra. Terrans, rest assured that your government will take all necessary measures to pre-emptively locate and neutralize all terrorist threats.

The TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT henceforth recognizes the legimitacy of the diplomatic missions in Wing City of the Hundred Lions Confederacy, the Waterpician Federation, the Galatic Roman Empire, the Erutin Empire, the Republic of Mutalistan, the Island People's Republic of Manjuin, and the Tasiran Collective. Other nation state entitites with an interest in establishing permanent diplomatic missions in Wing City are welcome to contact the TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT to request permissions and open diplomacy.

The TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT absolutely and completely condemns gratuitous and extrajudicial violence except in the immediate defense of person or property. Balthazar Winchester's call for systematic violence against nationals of the Aschen Confederation in relataliation for the actions of a rogue military official does not represent the voice of the Terran people. The TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT will expend all resources necessary to locate and repatriate missing person Kendra Shaw, the Aschen fleet commander deemed a missing person by the Aschen Confederation after going AWOL.

Other than T403 forces and the Democratic Coalition space station Godflower, all military personnel of any nation state entity other than a Terran state are ordered outside of the Terran system and do not have permission to station ground forces, including intelligence and covert operatives personnel. Except in the event of national emergency, the armed forces of the TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT shall not be mobilized. The standing army of the TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT is currently deployed in and around Wing City to protect Terran assets, including the temporary Government Center on Main Street where the TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT is now housed.

All Terrans, except those accused of high treason, who are of their species' generally recognized age of majority, but no foreign nationals or officials of foreign governments, may vote in these elections.

The Wing City Police Department is asked to extend full cooperation with the TERRAN NATIONAL GOVERNMENT in order to protect Terran interests. The Terran Health Service is commended for its role in keeping Terrans healthy and safe. An Intelligence Bureau and Terran National Police Agency will be founded for the greater good of ordinary Terrans in protecting against foreign and internal threats to Terran stability and security without military action.

The Coalition presence on Terra, personnel numbers reaching as high as 25 million in the past decade, has decreased considerably in the rise of the Terran National Government and it's supporting factions. The TCCA had officially relinquished control of Wing City and the last residual Territories of the Authority later the earlier in the year following the withdrawal of all Military Apparatus personnel from the planet. In response to Terra's claim to independence and the Aschen reluctance to grant the state autonomy, the Prime Minister has ordered the formation of an Expeditionary Force to assume standby positions. Warning the Aschen against any military operations at Terra, the 56th Expeditionary Force has been assigned the secondary task of maintaining regional control of the Cage, which is less than 2,000 lightyears from Sol. While the Prime Minister has made no official announcement on the Coalition policy with the formal Terran government, many have spoken in protest against the Aschen 'interventions' with Terran sovereignty and independence.

"Supporting terrorists, harboring insurrection and inciting dissent are neglible grounds for genocide and the destruction of a planet. The casualties and losses inflicted on the Terrans is a crime many of the larger nations were forced to disregard under Aschen jurisprudence -- had the Cabinet not pulled in the Apparatus, which was directly threatened on Terra during the attacks, Terra would have not been subject to such criminal acts."

With civilian outrage at the lack of response to the Aschen assaults, the Azarik Mogerfreikorps, a Democratic Nationalist party renowned in the Inner Empire for die-hard ultranationalist propaganda, staged a rally at the Dikor Forum in Kolsovo with nearly 600,000 at the site in the face of the local FBP militia. While there was no recorded violence, as Kolsovo and it's regions are notorious DN subscribers, the Azarik Freikorps incited political upheaval in the following days when the Scatterran media dissected the event, and the Allied Senate was torn down the middle on the matter.

" -- The lack of assistance and defense of the Terrans is the fault of the elected government alone, who were too busy whoring themselves to the Aschen <explicative> and Coalite prostitutes to defend them from the same Aschen barbarians that descended upon unguarded pups and cubs. And yet these Aschen boast of honor and valor standing over the dead bodies of women and children, our 'Allies of Scatter' are little more than a den of thieves!"

With growing anti-Aschen sentiment in the Outer Empire and Eastern Republics threatening to spill over into the Allied Senate, replacing one of possibly 300 Pro-Confederation senators, the Senate has recently enacted a total redirection of it's assessment concerning a possibility of withdrawing it's alliance extensions to the Aschen Confederation. While the government has offered both apologies and aid to the Terrans, the Cabinet remains unimpressed with what they believe has been little consideration for a crime so great.

Biko, the Forge

With increased business abroad, further scrutiny has been drawn to Anti-Scatterran racism and idealogies throughout the galaxy. Despite the necessity of travelling passes and visas that may often take years, and thousands of Cays, to purchase, the increasing number of Scatterrans travelling internaionally has raised the attention of the FBCA. While Terra and other regions still remain dangerous, for even armed Scatterrans, that has not stopped corporations from expanding their interests beyond Coalition borders and into the Galactic Halo region. With Sol quickly becoming an economic centerpiece in the galaxy, several high-profit technology and production firms like Scatterran Technologies, Massersmat and Mekkadyne have recently opened offices on Terra and in the Local Region.

These increases in business have brought increases in violence as well; the previous year ended with an expected 12,000 Scatterrans either dead or missing while they traveled abroad, 5,700 of the Scatterrans were confirmed to have disappeared in Aschen space, another 3,000 of those vanishing on Terra or the local area.

"Before travel, everyone is told of do's and don'ts, but it's not that Scatterran tourists aren't being smart when international -- people are targeting them."

While the possibility of racial violence is enough to warrant Counter Balance's Division 7 from closing the International Travel Bureau, thus revoking all international travel, business and interaction, there is serious resent in the Senate to prohibit Division 7 from inheriting the ITB.
