Daniel looked out the window while they drove, eyes scanning the crowds and the streets - or what was left of them at this hour. He sighed and slicked a hand through his hair. The two weren't the best of conversationalists, so, he doubted much would be said. Wondered why she didn't turn the radio on, and watched the world whiz by quickly.

She seemed to have a thing for attention. It didn't surprise him - a flashy girl who killed people for a living. He adjusted the cuffs of his leisure-suit-wannabe jacket and rested an arm against the window, continuing to stare outward.

He blinked a few times when she spoke up. "Wait, you've got a flight, too?" he asked. Blinked again, and reached to his back pocket to pull out his plane ticket: a flight that was leaving in a while, headed straight for California. Where he had another job. He looked over at her suspiciously.

She drove single handedly as she rapped her knuckles along her car window contently as if she had no one beside her, a habit to be alone you might say. She rolled down the windows, always facinted by her car.

It was fairly new and still had that " Brand new car scent" all over it. As the night wind rushed through the car, she peeked over at Daniel and looked back at the road as they entered the airport lane.

She licked her lower lip, as he looked over his ticket, shuffling in her blouse to take out hers, a bit torn but other then that in well shape. " I'm going to San Diego California..." she mused to him, " And you...?" she said taking a left lane to section 3 towards the parking.

Daniel's eyebrows rose and he looked over at the woman again; in detail. He was sure that - given her figure and the way she moved around, she was used to attracting glances left and right. But he wasn't just looking at her like that: he was assessing her as a threat. His lips were tightly sealed, and he parted them only to let out what sounded almost like a hiss: "... I'm going to San Diego, too." he rubbed the back of his neck, before very slowly craning his neck to look out the windshield at the parking lot of the airport.

"... are you going there for more work?" he finally asked. He was, and he was afraid of two things - that the woman would be his partner, or, even worse - his predator. Hell, she could even be his prey depending on how things panned out. He knew that he could rely on the Organization as a steady flow of work and cash, but nothing else. His life was always in his own hands.

Alana grew slightly tense after his answer and kept silent the entire way until they reached the pay booth, she finally unclenched her jaw to roll down the window and gave the man bills in euros, he studdered when he returned her change and she merely blew out an annoyed sigh and floored it to find a quick parking spot, the air port always crowded.

She turned to face him, " I have a few hits to take care of, its none of your business what I'm doing there... Next hit I got though.. is a multiple, all I know is they want this family dead as quick as possible for several reasons..." she said a bit coldly, a bit concerned already why they were heading to the same place.

Alana eye'd his ticket, and her eyes widened slightly, " Same plane too!? Ugh!" she said running a hand through her hair pulling her side bangs back behind her ear.

Daniel sighed heavily when the man spoke. He didn't want anyone else hearing what was being said in the car, so he moodily turned to look out the window, and waited for them to roll away. His ears perked up when Alana finally spoke again, concentrating on the sound of every word, of every syllable. As if studying this strange woman in every way would somehow help him if she tried to attack at some point in the future.

He ran a hand through his hair and sighed even more loudly when she was done. "... fuck," he hissed.

"It's not just the same plane. It's the same fucking job." he mumbled. Shot a glance her way - figuring she didn't want to work with him again any more than he wanted to work with her. Either way, he leaned back against the window and stared out. It'd be a long flight. A long week, even, depending on when this hit needed to be taken care of.

Alana's eyes closed, " You gotta be kidding me.." she said under her breath. AS they both stood there in utter silence Alana sat up and sighed, taking her keys in her pocket, and getting rid of his gun, and gathering her stuff.

She looked over to him, " I don't know about you... but I'm not gonna be late" she slipped out of her doors " I can't slip up on this one.." she added, waiting for him to leave her car so she could lock it. As soon as he got out, she'd close it. She didn't have much to bring with her, just her wallet, and a small book to read on the plane.

She started heading towards one of the many entrance's, looking at her ticket and at the numbers above.

Daniel rolled his eyes. He didn't like the situation any more than she did. He ditched his gun in the car - not that he'd actually needed to use it at any point during the job. He glared over at her for a few seconds longer, before finally stepping out and looking around. No bags, or anything - he'd only flown into the city a few hours ago, and he was already on his way out. He sighed and looked impatiently down at his watch.

He didn't reply to her as he walked; and didn't say anything as they moved throughout security checkpoints. He'd become a master of fostering fake smiles and keeping up small-talk with people he passed. He rarely paid attention to what was said; though, he made a convincing actor. He didn't try to stay with Alana throughout the trip, though, because they arrived at the same time - and were heading to the same place - they ended up at the gate at about the same time, as well.

Narrowly made it within the timeframe, and, soon enough, were loaded up onto the plane. Daniel sat down at a window seat, immediately buckling and turning to look outwards at the runway: waiting for it to be replaced with specks of earth and an all-encompassing sky.

Alana rarely made any eye contact with Daniel as she passed by him, or any time that they were loaded on the plane. She would see enough of him in California, almost too much of him. She had a seat behind him accompanied by a man who clearly had interests in her, starting up a conversation ... mostly small talk. Alana prettyly smiled back talking kindly in her calm voice answering little questions with her obvious fake answers.

The turbulence was smooth the whole flight, Alana always glanced ahead towards Daniel seat, nudging under his seat a couple times, perhaps to remind him she was still there... and also to annoy him. She caught up on her sleep when the man wasn't attempting to talk to her, waking up in the last 10 mineuts when they were landing.

As soon as they landed, Alana stood and passed through, people were starting to crowd with all their stuff and carry on. While she had none. Making her way outside, it was late still. She looked down on the airports street. Having offered many rides by cab, different prices of all sorts. She sighed and waited for Daniel... she'd share a ride with him.

Daniel kept his eyes locked on the clouds throughout the entire trip. Ignored the few times that Alana kicked the back of his seat - he wasn't sure why she did it. To be a pain, maybe? Probably. He shrugged and continued to ignore the rest of the passengers as he watched. Even ignored the stewardess who came and asked him what he wanted to drink. Just kept his eyes forward, mesmerized by the magnetism of the clouds.

He could hear a bit of conversation behind him: some guy hitting on Alana, it sounded like. She probably was used to it by then. He chuckled as his thoughts wandered elsewhere, before settling back in on his apathetic state.

When people began shifting to leave; he followed suit. With nothing to pick-up, he was out on the street soon enough. He spotted the woman from before near some cabs, and took a step beside her. He wasn't sure if she wanted to go straight for the job, or somewhere to rest, or what, first. She probably got some sleep on the plane. Either way; he remained silent.

She pursed her lips to keep herself from speaking, thinking perhaps he'd say something to her. Offer to hitch a ride together.. or something. Waiting a minuet she breathed out and turned to him. Alana was the same height as he was in heels, she'd be a bit shorter without them she had a lean keen looking body. Obviously quick.

" Well-- I think I-- or.. well we should rent a room, eat and rest before we finish this job tonight" she said a bit awkwardly towards him, her blue eyes staring straight at his own eyes, " We have quite a bit of time to kill" she reminded, gesturing with her chin to one of the cabs.

She didn't have to look around far, a man drove up winking and grinned, a little too friendly " Lookin' for a ride? I'll take ya where ya need 'ta go!" chewing gum the man made an annoying chewing sound as he spoke. Alana glanced at Daniel... waiting.

Daniel looked Alana over a single time; though, as usual, it wasn't the normal perverse stares she seemed to attract. Another quick evaluation. She was a bit shorter than him, and, presumably, a bit older - he was incredibly young for this business. She looked like she was pretty agile. Probably fast - if not literally, in pulling guns and firing, then in her ability to run and maneuver. He'd make a note of it.

She stammered a bit over her words, which confused him. He nodded as she spoke. Daniel had long-since made the assumption that they would travel together to carry out the next hit. It only made sense.

The man in the cab seemed interested in her. Then again, everyone did. Daniel rolled his shoulders back a single time and busied himself fumbling with the sleeves of his old-school jacket yet again. They had gotten a little messed-up during the flight. "Oh," he spoke up as he noticed Alana was looking towards him. "Yeah, sure." he walked around to the furthest passenger seat, and slid in.

Alana followed him soon after slipping on the leather seat beside him and sighing, closing the door beside her. The man looked over his shoulder, and Alana smiled at him, her voice took a soft tone. Clearly she usually got what she wanted with a voice like that, " The nicest hotel please..." the man nodded and looked towards the rode as he began to drive.

She rolled her eyes, annoyed with the horny men these days. She sighed and looked over to Daniel...her head tilted, hair lusciously falling to one side she curiously stared at him, her eyes narrowed as if she were discussing with herself-- a conversation inside her head.

Her expression softened, and she smiled warmly at him, " I know exactly what you're thinking...,” she said, from the corner of her eye watching the cab driver as he kept checking his rearview mirror.

She sighed, " That’s not what I'm here for... and it wouldn't be this easy.." smile broadening she breathed to speak again, " I'm Alana Konstadakis" she said in a thicker accent this time, making her name sound more pleasant. She didn't expect him to give out his name... but she found him as no threat. But as it crossed her mind.. he would make a worth opponent.

Daniel furrowed a brow at the man: even if the two of them clearly weren't a couple; it seemed like common kindness and logic not to shamelessly hit on a woman who was traveling with another man. He shrugged it off and assumed his normal position of staring out the window, as Alana flirtatiously asked to be brought to the nicest hotel. He smirked a bit at the request, and wondered how long they'd be spending in California before the hit was done.

One arm resting on the side of the window, and the other by his thigh, he kept his half-squint towards the window until Alana spoke. He turned towards her. She 'knew what he was thinking'? And it 'wouldn't be that easy'. He blinked a few times: she either thought he was afraid one of them would kill the other, or he wanted to sleep with her - either way, he figured, it wouldn't be easy. And not something she was here for. He chuckled a bit at his own little connection, before angling his head forward to look out at the traffic ahead.

His eyes fell back to her when she announced her name. "Ah." he answered quickly, subtly, before offering up his own first name: "I'm Daniel."

She prodded her inner cheek with her tongue when he stated his name and nodded politely, " I see..." she said looking up ahead it was busy, the San Diego streets were filled with people, cars, and builds and trees everywhere. As the sun beated down it was a heavy afternoon, and it was ending... dusk would be coming quite quickly.

Alana looked around, before parting her lips again, " So how long have you been working in 'company' buisness?" she asked Daniel, curious eyes over towards him again, as she tapped her fingers along the window, contently enjoying the view so far.

She teased a little, " Scared to speak up...?" she said not as loud, she said hoping to squeeze some conversation out of him.

She did something with her tongue when he mentioned his name. A bitter reaction, maybe? Perhaps she'd heard about him before. The Organization usually kept things pretty quiet about other killers, though. He shrugged it off and glanced at her for a few seconds longer, before feeling awkward and turning to stare down some of the other cars in the lull of traffic. It looked like it would be getting dark soon. He rubbed a forearm across his eyes and thought; about how disoriented he was. He hadn't slept in a long time, and had been one three flights in a little over two days. Shook his head a few times, and turned when she asked her question.

"Ha," he rolled his eyes. "I'm not scared, no." he blinked a few times. "Three years." he answered dully. "... coming up on four, pretty soon." - He'd be turning twenty.

"How about yourself?" he asked, turning yet again to look at her.

Alana nodded as if she was taking all this information in slowly, " Three years..." she echoed after him, looking at a large and brightly lighted hotel through the window as they entered its parking lot and drove up to the entrance slowly. Thanking the man with her seductive smile and paying him she slipped out of the car and sighed moving her bangs from her eyes and neatly tucking it behind her ear.

" I've only been hired 2 years ago..." she said eventually walking to the entrance, making her way in, swiftly walking again, hoping he'd catch up enough to hear her, "I was working for a personal people, back in france" she added, "Until they found me...so I tranfered over to them.. " she said and began walking backwards, " Money's good. I don't complain" she grinned at him, spinning around before smiling fakely towards the women behind the check in counter.

Daniel stayed quiet for the duration of the trip, listening to her repeat his number - only to look up at the hotel, following her gaze. He nodded a few times; of appreciation. He'd been staying in-and-out of very nice hotels ever since he started work for the Organization, so, it wasn't a huge surprise. He could still enjoy the architecture and big cities, though. Alana smiled towards the driver in a way that Daniel was sure incited all kinds of disgusting thoughts. He rolled his eyes and stepped out of the car after the woman paid.

"Oh?" he asked; actually continuing the conversation without being asked a question for once. "They picked me up as soon as I turned sixteen. Never had a chance to work on my own." he shrugged. He kept following her. "Yeah, the money is great. I'm putting it all away, though. Retire before I hit thirty." he chuckled and smiled boastfully, before leaning an elbow against the counter, eying the woman behind it up and down, and waiting.

Alana turned to the women, who looked at them both and blinked cluelessly, " Two rooms?" she said quietly, gliding her fingers over the keyboard so quickly it barely looked like she was typing at all. Alana nodded once, before turning back to Daniel and giggled a bit, " What the hell are you gonna do with a fortune of money when your thirty! Jeeze, Thirty is so... far off..." she said grinning.

As soon as the women gave them their key cards, Alana took hers not in a hurry to get to her room, " Hm... to be 16 again..." she sighed her tone rang along as if she was in a dream. " I started when I was about to turn 18..." Alana quickly cut herself off. When she started to talk about when she started and the reason why, she always found herself giving unneeded or personal dangerous information. She just frowned and closed her eyes that filled with hatred as she stood quietly.

Daniel watched, lightly amused, as the woman's fingers zipped on by the flashy, modern keyboard. The place was a pricey hotel, for sure. He spun around, back to the counter, and looked at the main lobby. Some people walked in and out; there was a large fountain with some plants by the door. He ran a hand through his hair and watched a few people pile in and out of the building. Threw an interested glance over at Alana as he discovered a little more about her - she was, what, twenty? Something like that. Not too far off from him. Not as much as he'd thought, anyways.

His eyebrows arched with curiosity when she trailed off, but he decided not to pry. Instead, just rubbed the back of his neck and paused. "You, uh, alright?" he asked.

Zoned out in a world of her own, until hes question was directed to her she blinked twice, and turned back smiling again, not so much effort in her acting this time, her eyes held more emotion. " Fine. Lets go to our suites' shall we? We should be heading off soon, this place we're heading towards is quite high on security..." she added.

Turning around she looked over her shoulder, " You can catch up on your rest, I'm starving...after we can head out, hows that?" she said, already making small plans in her head, she sighed, realizing she'd have to take the life of a child...basicly a family tonight. The good thing about Alana was she always finished a hit, child or not.

" Well... whats your plan?" she said softly after a short while.
