Daniel glanced at her. She was looking his way - there was a back door; which the police officer either didn't know about, or didn't plan on them using. He shrugged and followed her out. The man walked in - Daniel sighed. He still couldn't figure out what the visit was about; given the man's actions. He shook his head and shrugged a few times. Wondered if the disheveled condition the bed was in would make it obvious someone - or more than one someones - had been there.

He shook his head a few times and crept along behind Alana. He had no gun of his own, anymore - he'd been planning on taking one with him when he snuck away, but, then Joe had hit him; and everything had spun out of control.

Alana eventually got to the two cars and opened the doors for their stolen car. She then crouched down behind the cop car and took out her switchblade and stabbed it into the cops two back tires before slowly heading into the drivers seat of her car and sighing as Daniel came in.

She knew as soon as she turned on the car that the man would hear it and come out running after them. Alana turned the key and pressed the pedal far enough to head onto the road, unsure of where she was headed, but to keep away from the cop, that was now shouting after them and speaking into his walkie talkie and screaming some more, Alana frowned, " Should have killed him" she hissed.

Daniel watched her: as soon as he saw the switchblade, he understood what she was doing. He just sat back in the stolen car and waited. Couldn't help but wonder why the cop hadn't checked the car first. It probably held enough illegal contraband for him to call all sorts of back-up and bring the two of them in on. He shrugged.

"Meh;" he answered, when she said they should have killed him. "They already knew about the shack; and, presumably the car. Maybe even us two specifically. What good would it do to add a dead cop onto the pile?"

Alana glanced back at him, " One. It'd make me feel better... safer" she sighed, shamefully, then at the road, " Two, I think he just got called in to check who’s car it was, or someone reported seeing us in the cabin" she told him, " I have no criminal record, the organization makes sure of it, I basicly don't exist" she smirked.

Making several turns she stopped the car after a while on a deserted road, and put her head to her hands, and groaned, " I don't know where to go.." she winced.

"Wipe that fucking smirk off your face." Daniel glared at her for a second. "This isn't like it used to be: you think the Organization still gives a fuck about us? You know they'd love to turn us over to the cops after what we did to Joe. Sure; they'd rather do us in ourselves - but they've got people everywhere. Prisons included." he slicked a hand through his hair. "If he was just going in to check the car; he'd find out it was stolen, and crammed with all of that illegal shit."

Shook his head a few times and stared out the dashboard. "Maybe we should split up; before you kill a fucking crowd of people because you can't see the logic not to." he didn't look at her; just kept his eyes locked outside.

Alana's eyes widened and she turned to him, totally forgetting what they had done, she clenched her teeth and balled her hands into fists. Breathing out slowly before she looked over to him especially when he gave her the reason to split up she narrowed her eyes, and shook her head. " You know what...?" she said as calmly as she could until her voice cracked, " Fine!" she pulled the car keys out, " Since you think you know so much better, why don't you just leave..?! You obviously can handle the fact that we'd have to take a few lives in order to keep our own"

She looked away from him, her eyes glossy, if she were to tear up it would be from pure anger, not any other emotion. She gripped the steering wheel firmly and stared straight at thr wind shield, " Or I'll leave... I'll call a taxi" she offered, wanting to get rid of this car.

Daniel scratched the top of his head. Sighed. Rolled his shoulders back yet again, and finally turned to look at her: her fists clenched; her eyes looking to be glossing over. She really got pissed fast. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and let her keep talking, watched her pull the car keys out. "There's a difference," he almost hissed; "In understanding that some lives will need to be taken..." another pause, "and being some fucking psycho who gets off on killing people." shot her a glare from his side of the car.

"And, yeah," he gestured to the road with his hand, "please do call a cab. It'd make both of our short lives a lot happier."

Alana turned to glare at him, stressing quickly, and feeling sick to the stomache when he said his last few comments, so thats what he thought? The urge to point the gun was ticking, " Happier? How could I be happier with a fucked life thats only going to get worse!" she spat, " When I have no where to go to, no one to ever rely on 'cause my stupid son of a bitch parents sold me to that stupid company, and will always track me down until I'm dead! You can never hide, Daniel..." she said, touching her pistol and making it ready with a quick flick to the back with her thumb as threw the keys at him, her blue eyes even brighter as she grew angrier and exited the car with a hard slam.

She would blame all this on him, instead of ending everyones problems and letting her die, he had to be the hero, have that stupid little guilt instead of doing they're job and getting things done. He was no real hitman.

Daniel almost yawned during her little rant. Wondered why she tried to play the role of hardcore bitch all the time; and then suddenly make this desperate little plea for sympathy; about how her parents had abandoned her and how terrible her life is. No-one who worked for the Organization had a normal life. They were all fucked up. Just had the dream that someday they could escape like no-one before them had. Apparently, Daniel and Alana failed pretty miserably at that dream.

He caught the keys, despite being a bit off-guard; when she threw them. Looked into her blue eyes as she slammed the door shut and started leaving. He shrugged, mostly to himself; before leaning over into the driver's seat. He stuck the key back in the engine, started it up, and slowly pulled back onto the road; heading for nowhere in particular.

She glared hard on Daniel, having a little mental run through in her mind what would happen if she shot him now. She closed her eyes, as he left. If she was lucky she'd never see him again. Opening her eyes after a few moments of thought, her hair damply dry now, and she called a cab.

The cab surprising found her quite quickly, and she said nothing the entire way as she was only asked to be brought back to the main city of California. Payed him well no sign of comminication while she headed over to a hotel. She'd attempt to fly back soon.

Daniel flicked the radio on as he drove. Away from the city; out to the countryside. Made a note in his mind to ditch the car at some point; after scavenging through it for guns and money. He slicked both hands through his hair as he came up to a particularly straight and desolate patch of road. Rolled his window down and reached over for a pack of cigarettes.

He actually smiled to himself as he smoke and let some classic rock accompany him down the empty, wide open roads.
