One week later
In a car headed to her small home in Carmel, California, Adelle sat watching out the window waiting to arrive at her home. Her brother, Erich Winters, a boy of Nineteen looked into his rear view mirror to see Adelle anxious.
"Hey we're almost there sis so you can settle down." Adelle sighed. "I know it's just I got mom the best little gift from this little shop." Erich raised his eyebrows. "What did you get me?" Adelle frowned. "I got you some air freshener and a car freshener because this car stinks." Erich laughed sarcastically and pulled up in front of their house. It was old, big and creaked when you walked in it but it was cozy to the Winters family. Racing inside, Adelle hugged everyone and set her suitcases down. "I got gifts for everyone!" She smiled and pulled out several bags. "A purple feather boa for Maddie." She handed her five year old sister her gift and the child took it with joy. "Barbecue seasoning set for dad." Her dad smiled and happily took the gift. "Seat covers for Erich." Erich chuckled. "That definitely isn't air freshener." Adelle smiled and grabbed the last bag. "And a cute little doll for mom." She opened the bag and frowned. "I could have sworn it was in here." She dug through her suitcase. "It's okay honey, you didn't need to get me anything." Adelle nodded but took out a lovely box. "I also got you perfume but I wanted you to see the doll. I must've lost it on the plane." She sighed and stood up. "I'm sorry, if I find it i'll give it to you okay?" Her mom smiled. The family gave Adelle hugs and then left Adelle to unpack. Adelle heard a noise in her room and she cocked her head. Opening the door, she found the biggest shock of her life. "Who the hell are you?!"

Hunter sat on the window seat. He was bored. But yet happy that someone had bought him. Then he heard a bunch of noise from down stairs. Hunter knew that when Adelle went looking for him in the bag he wouldnt be in they bag. Hunter smirked at the thought. Adelle's room was nice he liked it. Then being bored waiting for Adelle to get up here he stood up and paced back and forth. He tripped over the rug on the floor. This had caused some noise. When he fixed the rug he looked up to see the door open. He smiled as he saw Adelle. When she had asked who the hell he was he smirked and said "I am the doll you bought, I must say you have a very nice room Adelle" Then he waited for her reaction. He knew she wouldn't believe him about being the doll but he had something to make her believe and he would use it if he really had to. For years Hunter had to sit in that store watching the people go by. He had always felt like he wasn't wanted when the women told them that their was life in the doll. But now Hunter had felt happy like a kid in a candy store. He was picked and was glad for it. Now all he had to do was get Adelle to believe that he was the doll.
