IF you want Diversity why don't you not have different time periods but different stages of Technology for each little place of land >.> wouldn't that make more sense...? I mean it'd be easier and if we travel from one big land mass to the other and we land and we're all like "What day is it" and some random local is all like "Oh it's yadda yadda day on such and such year" from what year we know our characters are gonna be like "WTF!?" at least mine will.

I'm saying compared to earth THe island is just a little more technological superior hen the man land. Date and years will remain the same, just a slight technology diffrence
