So, I LOVE Oblivion. And I thought it would be cool to make a roleplay based off of that universe. So, here it is! I'm still putting together the story, but I wanted to see how many would be interested.

Well there was a Morrowind one some while ago but I don't know what happened to it. But yeah, I would be interested in principle. Depends on the story though.

Well, I'm trying to make it as epic as the games' storylines, but it's hard... Anyway, I'll keep working on it.

I must say, Oblivion shouldn't be taken as a determining factor for the Elder Scrolls universe. Morrowind is much more suitable. Nevertheless, if the RP proves potential, I'll gladly join. (even though there are many ES RPs on the official forums)

O_o Really? Well, I might have Morrowind somewhere in it, but I think it'll be based mostly in Cyrodill. I'm going to try to add the Shivering Isles in it too.

So, here is the general story. Ahem...

It has been ten years since the Champion of Cyrodill fought alongside with Martin Septim, the last known heir to the throne, as they battled Mehrunes Dagon. In the intermittent time, goods and bads have occurred. Immediately after the Oblivion Crisis was over, High Chancellor Ocato, a very influential Altmer, was named Emperor. However, this did not go well with some citizens of the Empire, and he was assassinated after only eight years of service. The Council has since been trying to name a new Emperor, but all attempts have failed. The Empire, namely Cyrodill, has devolved into chaos. The Imperial City, once a great beacon of hope and order, has become a hub of lawlessness. The Imperial Watch is just not manned enough to keep order. They have, however, been recruiting new and talented guards to take control. Even this is not enough though, and the Blades have once again been called into action. Grandmaster Jauffre, having passed away, was succeeded by a promising new Grandmaster named Baurus. Baurus worked with the Champion when the legend was but a Blade agent, and he feels he can do what is right for the Blades, and the Empire. The Champion, after saving Cyrodill from the horrors of Oblivion, moved on to other adventures elsewhere. But the great hero left his mark, and a statue of him stands in every major city.

You have my support, though I'm iffy on joining. If you need some help with the Elder Scrolls universe, I can shoot you a hand in most situations. It's very comprehensive if you actually sit down to read about it. Good luck!

Thanks for the support, but why are you iffy? You just not that into TES?

I'm extremely cautious about joining roleplays. It's not something you're doing wrong. I'm just indecisive like that.

Oh, well, I hope you do join. I think it'll be fun.

I'll try to find some city maps, but thats what I have so far. Feel free to PM me if you need anything specific. Just as a note, we will not be using the attributes and skills and such. But everyone can't have an Orc that is skilled in Alchemy. that sort of thing is very uncommon. For example, in the ENTIRE Oblivion game, there is only ONE Redguard mage.(At least,that I have found.)

Appearance: Kaedai is tall and very built. He has very tanned skin and bright blue eyes. He has short-cut dark brown hair. As a Blade, he usually wears his Blade armor with his trust Akaviri Longsword at his side. He also has a set of tight-fitting light stealth armor for the more....discreet operations.
Biography: Kaedai was young when the Oblivion crisis occured, and was at the very heart of the final battle, as he lived in the Imperial City. When it was all over, he took daily walks through the city to the Temple District to look upon the giant dragon statue that appeared in the Temple Of The One. When he was around 16, he was inducted into the Blades. He rose in the ranks fast, and is now second only to the Grandmaster himself. He is very loyal to the Empire, and to the Blades, and would not hesitate to die for his friends.

I will definitely join. I tried to partake in a few TES roleplays before and was disappointed because they fizzed way to nothing. I hope i can help make this rp truly epic. Heres my characters profile.

Background:
Many years ago , Selik was in the legion . He was a great swordsman and good commander. He had lots of Power , Money and Friends . He had a good life .
Then one day , a man in black cloak approached him . The man requested that he join his "group" of mercenaries . The group was called " the Night Wings " . Selik , overjoyed by the thought of more money accepted the offer not knowing what was about to come next . The man then stated that he MUST assasinate his legion captain or they would kill him .
Selik was horrified . He had not the heart to do it , but then the thought of more gold came into his mind and he drew his blade .
That same night , he snuck into his captains tent and plunged the dagger straight into the throat of his captain . He did not even stay to watch him die . He simply Ran . Ran and joined the mercenaries , his so called "new friends" . Sometime after , Selik became sick of the mindless killing of innocents and realized his folly .
He quit the The Night Wings and became a traveler .
At a later age he had a run-in with some very angry goblins . He was shot twice with arrows , in the chest and the shoulder ,and was severely injured . He rested for many months recovering .
He then made a solemn hatred for goblins and hunted them for
money . He started practicing with a bow and learned how to hunt quite efficiently . He has lived traveling the world for some time since...

I might join, not sure. However, what I think is awesome is that we can make a character on Oblivion, take a picture or a screenshot, and put it up here as well as a description of appearance. I just thought I'd say that sounds pretty cool.

I'd also like to say I haven't beaten Oblivion or Morrowind, I get too distracted with side-things and hunting deer in Oblivion. I shot a buck with an arrow from jeeze knows how far away last night
