Grutous's arm flopped out of the blanket rapped around him. It twitched, his arm seemingly not under his control. His hand moved under it's own power, dragging a finger in the snow writing out some sort of glphy or symbols. The design was intricate, and though drawn with his large finger some what lithe and delicate. Grutous shifted in his spot, his head flopping over to the side Specter was on. "Go, go down the winding road, and down the tunnel, towards the spring and there you'll find," Grutous spoke not of his own accord, his voice differnt and yet at the same time the same. His hand rose up and pointed down the fissure that they were trapped in, "go now."

Spectre looked at Grutous as he started to draw. "What's that?" She whispered. "I can't read..." She looked at Grutous again, confused as he spoke. "Spring? What will I find there? What am I looking for?" She stood up anyway, since, he had told her to. She tucked his arm back in the blanket, kissing his cheek. "I won't be long." She tried to promise, before looking in the sleigh for the provisions they had bought. She left them by Grutous, taking just a little for her journey.

By the time was ready to go, Grutous had begun to snore, haveing been let go by what ever ethreal force that had possed him. The path he pointed down was a crack in the ice about six feet high and a few feet wide. It was dark some what, but the light from above lit the way partialy. Sounds of running water were coming faintly farther down the crack.

Spectre took a deep breath as she started to walk down the path Grutous had pointed down. She wasn't to entirely sure what she was looking for, but of course she was doing this to humour him. She heard the water and the hair raised on her neck. She took another shaky breath, before continuing, trying to ignore how dark and rather scary it was down this path. Spectre disliked the dark. She didn't know who or what was inside it.

After continueing on, the dark tunnel began to grow lighter. The sound of water grew louder as she went on. The tunnel soon began to widen, to the point where she didn't have to worry about squeezing past the rough edges of the ice. Soon the tunnel opened up to large cavern, completely encased in ice, but in the middle was a running stream. The ground was completely thawed and lush foliage growing all around the spring. An alter stood in the middle of this cavern.
