Greetings, all.
So… I’ve waited for over two weeks and only two specimens have responded to my latest test. Frankly, and without meaning to sound accusatory to anyone, I find this rather disheartening, especially considering the great start we got off to. (You may have noticed my appreciative elation early on.) But now, please tell me honestly: do you want to continue with this thread? I understand that we have fully entered the academic year and any students in our group--myself included--may be low on time for RPing. If this is the case, simply let me know and I’ll gladly accept any comments.
On the other hand, if I’ve managed to lose your interest during my repetitive testing, let me know that too! I can advance the plot, such as it is, to the more exciting part, but only if people still want to play. (I don’t know how many of you have even looked at my last test post, but I’ll restate: “Treats will be offered to those [characters] who continue to participate!”)
If you have a third hand, or some other grievance that I can address, please tell me about it and I’ll do what I can to come up with a solution. Or, if you’ve decided--like Damien—that the time has come to drop out altogether, just say so and your character will be… “taken care of,” if any others wish to continue.
Anyway, sorry if I’ve managed to come off as melodramatic or repetitive here, but I admit that this is(/was?) my first GM and I’m actually quite disappointed that what started so well just came to a dead halt with no other comments. I know that threads die off regularly, but I had hoped that we might be able to keep this one going for quite a while longer. (Honestly, the best part is still to come, if anyone still wants it! I’ll even give away the surprise if you really want me to.
Sincerely,
Your humble Veaon (whose lordship is currently “on probation” for losing all of his subjects at once)
(PS: See my signature, then read "yet he has no purpose if the game has no players.")
