So are you still planning to base your next post on Bimaristan, Az?
Her fingertips, outstretched, sketched a farewell,
Her eyes, downcast, asked when I would return.
And I replied, "What traveler went forth
Who knew the fate God had in store for him?"

Got my post up. Started writing on it about two weeks ago (if not more) and just hit a wall. So I decided I'd rather get a post up that wasn't of the best quality than one of better quality but took far too long to do so. My apologies for its rawness.

Yeah, Saint, I'll be shooting you a PM later for the inevitable arrival of the Counter-Balance team to Bimaristan. The choice whether they accept them peacefully is entirely up to the regime; perhaps they'll have to remain under the radar upon their arrival. I'll start working on my post in the next few days.

Are you Jump-Off? If so, yeah, no worries. I just have to work out a post for this, without god modding it.

Cool. Thanks.
I'll post my shite up very soon (like right now).

Oh, and, just to let you know, the map and everything won't be as polished as they usually are, because I'm not on a computer like that. But rest assured, I'll polish it as soon as I can.

Nation Name

Image

The Democratic People's Republic of Aralia was created by a union between the city-state of Aralan, and the indigenous commonwealth of the Snail Protectorate. The 1770 Consolidation Act was what led to the formation and ratification of Aralan-Snaila. In 1801, the name was changed to Aralia, then the State of Aralia in 1818. Due to conflicting cultures and beliefs, a set of formal, and information titles were chosen for the nation. As of October 8th, 1889's Act of Reformation, the formal name would be: The Democratic People's Republic of Aralia, with the alternate moniker of The State of Aralia. The three informal titles were: The State, Aralia, or the DPRA.

Location and Controlled Landmass

Whatever isn't taken. (I can't access and edit the map like that right now -- forget not.)

Government

Democratic Military Junta: The military is the government, and the figureheads of Aralia are those who command the State's military forces.

Major Gentellic

Indigenous Aralang - 50%
Other - 50%

Major Exports

Small arms, beef, fruits, vegetables, large arms, medication/drugs, vehicles, books, candy, clothing, cellphones. Pretty much anything that you can think of.

Currency

Aralian Pound(s).

Currency in Comparison to the UGC

+3 (or whatever the maximum is).

Nation Population

Gee, I honestly was never good at judging numbers. 3 Billion people on the planet, let's say... 405 Million taxpayers, though it doesn't include illegal residents and dual-citizens.

Language
(s)

There is no 'official language' of the State's linguistic make-up, due to its 'melting pot' culture. However, the indigenous citizens still reign supreme, and, as such, speak the nation's "de facto" language. You have: Native Arlan, New Arlan, and other languages. The biggest minority language spoken in the State is Belkan (due to it being a superpower, and highly militaristic nation).

National Colour

Ya'll niggas took all of the good colours. Let's just say...white.

National Pride

Their status as a superpower and high-ranking military supplier, their diversity, their military, and their economic might.

Important Locations

This'll come later on. Like I'd said, I don't have a computer like that right now.

Dramatis Personae

Lemme get to this once my nation is approved.

Military Deployment

Work-in-Progress.

Military Divisions of the Aralang Defence Force

Aralang Land Command - As the oldest branch of the State, it is rich in tradition. Many of these traditions have had influences on foreign military forces. The ALC focuses on technologically-inclined, scientific warfare. They believe in using innovative technology to decimate their foes.

Aralang Maritime Command - This is the second-oldest and second-largest military division. The Maritime Command is adept in multi-terrain warfare. Many of their inventions can take the fight to the enemy on any front -- be it by air, by land, or by the obvious sea.

Aralang Amphibious Infantry - Essentially, the Aralang Marine Corps. It was formed in 1950, as a means to counterbalance the Underground Militia and their highly-adaptive and effective tactics. The AAI is known as being exceptionally tough -- able to fight and keep morale high in the worst conditions.

Aralang Air Command - The Air Command began as a sub-division of the MC, under the moniker of 'The Aralang Maritime-Air Corps'. The AC believes in sophisticated, "clean" warfare. As such, a lot of their weapons and equipments are silent, but deadly.

Aralang Logistics - The most powerful military division within the Aralang Defence Force. It acts as the "central hub of the military", and oversees all logistical operations carried out by the same. Everything from manufacturing bombs, to recording missions, to deployment, it's all done here. When the need(s) of the State are extreme in nature, Logistics can either bolster the power of any other military division, or become its own. It is a truly fearsome and deadly force -- its only second being the Underground Militia.

Aralang Underground Militia - The AUM was formed after the first Belkan push, in an effort to keep Belkan sleeper agents and dual-citizens out of the Aralang State. They began simply as ultra-nationalists, but are now seen as terrorists -- at least in the eyes of the Aralang Defence Force (which is pretty much the government). While they are considered to be an illegal consortium, the government has turned away from their activities, due to the current state of affairs. The UM is highly underrated. Their guerilla tactics and salvaging of scraps makes them not only highly adaptive to the conventional, static military forces of today, but a very resourceful force to be reckoned with. If there's one enemy that can rid the world of the Belkan eagle, it is the Aralang Underground Militia.

Military Readiness

ZERO +3 (Zarenthian Effectiveness and Readiness Oversight). This national threat level scale was invented in implement in 1945 by Hubert S. Zarenthine (1900-1972), an interior defence analyst. His scale takes conventional, non-Aralang threat indicators, compares them to his own, and then cross-examines with a 'hidden scale'. The result is not any rounded, or assumed result, but instead a highly-accurate and logical level of should-be awareness.

Military Population

While most Aralangs have a military background (be it inherent, direct, or otherwise), there are only 9,000,000 that have taken an oath to defend the State and its interests. As for data about the Underground Militia, that is unknown -- however, numbers are known to be above 500,000.

Note: Nation is a superpower. Was approved a long-arse time ago.
