In the future, the internet will have advanced to the point where any command can be instantantly carried out, whether it be from teenager to cell phone, or from Earth to a large orbital station, capable of wiping out cities. Computers controll navigation systems of ships, the engins, the weapons. Wireless signals can be received by robot AI to be remote controlled. But this system is flawed, very flawed. Hackers can take controll of any of these things. They take advantage of the people's dependence on wireless communcations. They can hack anything from a vending machine, to a war ship. The more complex the system, the harder to hack, the defence it has, but that doesn't make it invincible. There fore, skilled personal must be hired to protect these systems, they push out 'intruders'. Safe Gaurd is the most widly employed company of these 'anti-hackers.' They can spot an intrusion, isolate it, and block it out. This is war, but instead of guns, you've only got your intelligence, wits, and computer.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Key Locations:
-------------------
Chicago: Now a bustling hub of technology, home of some of the biggest break throughs in interenet communcation.
Important buildings
-Technology Center of America: High defenses against hackers, almost impossible to crack. Houses vital information. Only the best Safe Gaurds are employed here, making it super secure.

New York: The city turned into a place where only the richest can live. THe most expensive technology can be found here. But you can always get it for free, seeing as everything is hooked up to a commputer. Most of the stores are higly defened against hackers, and Safe Gaurds are often used in shops.

London: The leader in military tech. Everthing from new fire walls to orbital cannons are developed and manufactured here.
Important buildings
-Militech Headquarters: Militech is the single largest developer and manufacturer, period. If you hack this, weapons controll systems, military files, and many more things are at your disposal. Good luck though, as you'll most likely be caught and put to death. Safe Gaurds are more common here than any where else, and defenses against hackers make this the most secure location on the net.

Rules:
-OOC only
-No spam
-No almighty hackers, every system has a defence
-General forum rules
-You must be in a city to hack it's facilities

Random thought of the week: In war, there are no heros, no villians. There are only soldiers, and a cause.

Sounds fun =D

Name: Faustine "Faust" Tecumseh
Age: 24
Apearence: A rather eccentric individual, Faust's appearence reflects her personality. Already and albino upon birth, she started to dye her hair at an early age, although she hasn't quite decided on a color to stick with. So, her hair, which is cut to slightly beyond shoulder lenght, constantly shifts in color from day to day (She always dyes it differently). Other than that however, she wears a black t-shirt, designed with a white '=D' marking, representing the timeless emoticon used on the computer.

Over this shirt, she wears a large hooded blazer split into two colors, with the right side white, and the left side a vibrant crimson. It has a metallic zipper which creates the divide on the front, which continues on to the hood it'self, so that even the hood can be zipped closed. The divide on the back, however, is marked by a single, obsidian cross, with the vertical line starting on the hood's rim, and ending at the extended lower rim. The horizontal line, however, extends throughout the lenght of the sleeves.

Furthermore, there are a series of emoticons( =D, D=, ;), x3, Px, >:), etc) pasted on the white side of the blazer, in a variety of colors, no matter how mis-matched they are (Blue, green, purple, orange, etc). The red side, on the other hand, is decorated by black, vertical lines, which ends inches before contacting the horizontal line.

Her jeans are a typical dark blue, but the left side is patched with dozens of peices from various random shirts and jackets, with a zipper attached to the bottom of the pants legs, for no apparent reason. The belt, on the other hand, is a practically neon green, marked with numerous pyramid studs.

Interestingly enough, her HC (Hacking Computer), is neon purple, with white ";)" emoticons marked on it. In the sake of design, she actually took the time to attach keychains to the side, representing a variety of characters from retro video games.

Recently, she's begun the habit of wearing metalic vizors... She still doesn't know which is her favorite though, so it always changes.

Affiliation: Independent
Bio: An avid blogger, Faustine has a bit of an obsession with attention. Her main blogging page was always an eye-catcher, just as she liked it. Since she had to decorate her page, at the age of 14, it was at this point where she began the most minor of her programming. As she progressed through highschool, she continued her blogging, and continued her expertise with computers through trial-and-error, along with high school classes. And by the age of 20 (Now in college), she had become quite adept at programs. And by 22, she was skilled enough to be a hacker.
This is all we've got now
Scream until your heart stops
Never gonna regret
Watching every sunset
We'll listen for your heartbeat
| Scream your heart out. |

Name: Terrio Miller

Age: 19

Apearence: http://photobucket.com/image/anime%20ma ... le.jpg?o=2

Affiliation: Alone.

Bio: Terrio once worked for the company of Safe Guard, being one of the elite but eventually a falling out resulted in his removal from the company. It has been about 3 years since then, having been raised in a family who had been working with Safe Guard for years he was skilled at a young age. Being out of touch since his removal from the company, he has lost pace with most technology but has finally gotten back into it via a few friends, beginning at the basics he is slowly building his way back up in the network.

Terrio's father was put to death after trying, and failing, to hack into a military base in order to hold it for ransom. This didn't affect Terrio much with how tenuous his relationship with his father was, but after his mother attempted the same thing he became shut out from the outside world while focusing on succeeding were his father had failed. Although, he doesn't want power or money from this, he just wants to prove that he is better than Safe Guard.

Although, he'll probably fail.

[[Sorry... Bout the age thing <-<]]

Reil accepted. Tarmo|Death, you should be a little older to become one of Safe Guards Elites. Make that fix, and you accepted.
