CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

MORE SPECIFICALLY, CALLING ALL ARTISTS THAT CAN DO A BIT OF PRO BONO WORK!

The first round of the Grand Tournament has come to a close, and saw a lot of action between the participants as they vied for their respective supremacies. Some rounds were shorter than others, and some were so close that they needed a final decision by a judge to reach any sort of conclusion due to both participants being too close to victory for either to feel beaten. For a first round it certainly met the standards of being a dramatic and suitably exciting start to the entire event.

The dramatic and exciting part though…I’m crossing my fingers that can be just a tiny touch more. I’ve asked Rem about this idea, and he’s given it the go-ahead, so I’m hoping there’s at least a few takers to the concept.

Would there happen to be any artists clicking their way through Gateway that would be inclined to draw up some pictures of the final moments in the first round matches? Or, beyond that, any artists that would like to give the project a while with the following battles as the ladder gets shorter and shorter?

I'll be happy to oblige. And this is my first post~! What a way to make an entrance! How deserving. Actually, I was thinking of drawing up Arrogance's match in my free time, so it's a little ironic. He was the one who referred me to here and...

Ahh, anyway. If you'd like my help, I'd love to help, if you'll accept it. I'm also afraid that if I refuse, Katana will throw mud in my face and spill sake all over my good sofa.

If that's the match you want, then by all means go for it

I think I'll keep an updated list of who's doing what in the first post, so there'll be a minimum of confusion.

In addition to that, could you (and any following artists) please:

1) Include a link to an example of your art style. (since Arrogance threw you this idea he apparently probably already likes your work. But it gives the other contestants an idea of what they should expect in terms of styles, habits, and level of detail).
2) A short descrip of what you will and won't draw (if you don't want to draw blood or the like, you really shouldn't have to, and whomever you volunteer to portray shouldn't ask for it)

He wont draw furries.

There's a few people here with anthros, or anthro-features.

And I'll leave that to the artists to declare, not the requestees.

I'll probably draw up the final moments of mine and Ryands fight, the massive light and dark explosion

No problem from me on that. Does Ryand like the idea as well?

You might get more interest if you make a topic in the Artwork Forum. Also, please do check out the various galleries in that section. I can recommend plenty of talented artists such as Yami (who has already responded), Skogul, Vexar, Jadeling Hawkins, Myth, and Sidhaefaer (who fights as Jack in the GT League)--her artwork is amazing, plus her visualization of motion in her comics is especially prudent to this project. We also have a cropping-up of animators like Raptor, who's worth checking out as well.
