Chapter 1: The Guardians- Rise of Garthox
Chapter 2: The Guardians- Journey to the Worlds

And now comes the final chapter to this enticing tale of heroes, ancient evil, powers and adventure....

The Guardians- The Lost City



History:


God created 8 Worlds. He also built a sacred land called Arilt. Arilt is the linkway from one world to another. On Arilt, the gods left two beings to protect it from evil. They were two brothers. At that time, evil was anything that reeked of greed, hatred, jealously, vengeance and menace. It had no particular form.

Both brothers were tasked the job of making sure that the eight worlds were taken well care of. They were to also watch over the gateways that led to the eight different worlds. Anyone could visit any of the other worlds but they all had to go through the two brothers. All was calm and at peace. However, soon, there was word of an evil rising. His name was Garthox. Garthox raged war against many Worlds and took many innocent lives. He attempted to strike a deal with God.

He asked for complete rule over Anothadis. When god said no, Garthox flew into a rage of fury and began to wreak havoc. Noone knew where he had attained his powers but to expand his power, he began to steal the souls of other creatures. Slowly, he became powerful and although, the two brothers, warned him, he ignored all warnings and carried on with his quest to dominate all eight worlds. The two brothers pleaded with God to destroy Garthox.

God made a decision. He chose eight different beings from the eight different worlds. He made them stronger than the rest of their people and named them the Guardians, the chosen ones. Their abilities were enhanced ten- fold.

Together, they formed a plan to capture Garthox who now had the power to form an army of his own. He was becoming greedier and hatred filled his soul.

The Guardians requested the 2 brothers to create a portal to entrap Garthox in the Void Dimension. Garthox was now too powerful to kill so they could only trap him. The brothers agreed and created the portal to the tormenting dimension where time does not exist. The Guardians fought a great battle that lasted for decades before they finally captured Garthox. At the point where he was most weak, they managed to overpower him and seal him within the Void Dimension. But they could not trap 5 of his most powerful minions who ran his armies.

However, this is not where it ends. For when Garthox was being sealed into the Void Dimension, he created a prophecy. He put a curse on the portal leading to the Void Dimension. Every ten thousand years, the portal would weaken and with the help of his five powerful minions, he would be free. But everytime he attempts to escape, the descendents Chosen ones have always managed to seal the portal back.

Garthox has never left the Void Dimension. The worlds have been in peace with the two brothers guarding the doorway and the portal kept under close watch. But it is now once again the ten thousandth year and Garthox’s prophecy will take place again. The Void dimension will reopen but this time............

Garthox will escape and the 8 Worlds will face the greatest battle they have ever known...

Okay, "The Guardians- The Lost City" is the third and final chapter of the three part story of 'The Guardians'. In the previous two chapters, Garthox has all ready escaped and with the help of his 5 minions, he has taken control of the World of Belluvier and the World of Flinx.

The Guardians have each attained their full strength and abilities from the Tree of Wisdom. They have all travelled back to their worlds to find the item that will aid them in the battle. Each one of them have discovered the item.

Now with the relics in their hands, the Guardians must now travel back to the Land of Arilt to meet up for the FINAL BATTLE IS DRAWING NEAR....

Gabriel has the power to control and bend darkness to his liking, able to use the shadows to create any weaponry he so chooses, or just concentrate it into a rather devastating blast. His wish, is his command. After gaining power from the Tree of Wisdom, he is now able to create creatures, or "spawns of darkness". On a... lighter note, Gabriel also has the power of metamorphose, able to freely transform into any animal, or creature he comes into direct, visual contact with.
Weapons:
Besides his fists, which alone are considered "deadly weapons", he carries both a rune covered blade, a weapon of bloodshed, and a scythe, a tool crafted of the sweat and arms of a mans back. Both were given to him by a figure of the unknown. He rarely uses such weapons, but when embossed with the power of darkness, they become rather useful pieces of equipment. And speaking of darkness, he does frequently use the bending of such power to create other weaponry, weaponry he uses to fight off Garthox's forces. Metamorphoses also comes in handy, being able to transform into the most deadly of beasts.

Brief history:
Gabriel was just your average Karnog before he showed some promise with his powers, being much more powerful than the rest of his dark brethren. In time, his people came to know him as the Guardian, similar to the ones who locked away the powerful Garthox so many years ago. Surprisingly, this was news Gabriel could of done without, he being utterly afraid, and feeling useless. It was hard to accept his role in the worlds, to accept his destiny, but needless to say, he ventured out and let fate find him.

The search for Sitora was a failure, even after combing his entire planet, Gabriel found nothing, not even a trace to its whereabouts. Just as he thought about giving up, many strange occurrences happened, especially the meeting of a shadow, a shadow in which gave him two weapons of, little or no use - Gabriel unable to figure out what their specific use was, besides taking the life of another. Some time later, he was sucked into the Realm of Fears. His fear of being useless shined then, as he watched his fellow Guardians be cut down without him... as he watched the worlds succumb to the powerful force known as Garthox.

It was always meant to be eight, never seven, and after seeing his friends lives taken, he jumped into action and overcame his fears... especially because being lonely was another. After overcoming his fear, Gabriel returned to his own world, and the search persisted... a search in which led him to the edges of the map, and beyond.

Name: Ashanti Loral aka Ash
Race: Human
Age: 23
Powers: Ash is able to have visions of the past, present and future. Her ability also extends to being able to freeze time whenever she wants but she gets weak very easily when she uses her ability. She is also able to move through time now that she has attained her full strength from the Tree of Wisdom.

Weapons: She has duo swords carried across her back. On her right arm, she has a bronze band that stretches up to her elbow. Hidden inside is a sharp blade.

Appearance: Ash is tall and has long brown hair that is braided down her back. She wears a brown cap sleeved top. Her cargo pants ends of with boots. Slung across her chest is the carrier holding her duo swords. She has blue eyes that turn a stormy shade of gray whenever she calls upon her powers.

Rough History:

Ash left Earth when she was 10 upon the sudden mysterious death of her foster family. Ash was taken in by the 2 brothers, Hugh and Farath, who guard the 8 worlds. During the battle in the World of Belluvier, she watched as Azrael killed one of the brothers, Farath as he had been working for Garthox. Feeling slightly confused about the betrayal she faced from Farath, Ash's feelings towards Azrael were mixed. Farath had been one of the two brothers who had raised her as their own and the idea of him having helped Garthox all this while confused her so much.

When the Guardians were to return to their worlds to retrieve their relics, special items that were crafted for each Guardian, Azrael chose to follow her to Earth. They managed to pinpoint the location of the relic, the museum. Once in there, Ash sourced out for a large stone that held the 8 time chains within. With the chains, Ash could bend time, allowing her fellow Guardians to move through time with her. Just as she was about to retrieve the special relic, all the Guardians and minions of Garthox were summoned to the REALM OF FEARS- a horrid place that held a prophecy.

In the realm of fears, the master of the realm, Gurasa, put each Guardian and Minion in a situation where they would face their deepest darkest fear. Ash had to face her own fears, shadows from her past that came back to haunt her. And when she was at her lowest, Gurasa revealed that hers and Azrael's souls were entwined. Ash had suspected all along that Azrael was not all he seemed but the revelation that he was a minion of Garthox angered her and she lost all hope. Gurasa continued to play his twisted game and soon exposed that one of their souls was to belong to him and Azrael made the choice of his soul. Returned to Earth, Ash did not know how to react to Azrael for he had sacrificed his soul for her. At the end of the great battle, his soul would belong to Gurasa and there was nothing she could do about it.She looked upon him differently as he had proven himself in the realm of fears.

With the 8 time chains in hand, the two begin to make their way back to Arilt where they would await the final battle between Good and Evil.

By the way, as mentioned, in the second chapter- "The Guardians- Journey to the Worlds", the tree of wisdom has already returned the Guardians' extra powers. So, on top of the powers listed in the character breakdown above, here are the extra abilities along with the special relics the Guardians were expected to find in the second chapter. When we begin this RP, the Guardians have already found their objects.

Guardians and their Extra powers and Objects


GUARDIANS:

1. Earth, the land of Sapiens,
Name: Ashanti Loreal by Aslin
Age: 23
Extra Powers: Able to move through time now
Object: Time chains- each one for a Guardian, Ashanthi can now allow her Guardians to move through time with her as long as they wear the chain.


2. Flinx, the land of faries:
Name: Ghislaine Isabeau (nick-named Layna) by ImmortalEcstasy
Age: 24
Extra Powers: Able to fly for as long as she wants and her strength is enhanced. She is able to communicate with animals of the sky.
Object: Twin orbs. 1st orb- allows the Guardian to sense if evil is near. If she attains the 2nd orb, she will be able to combine the two and this will allow her to control weather to a certain extent.


3. Solas, the sea of mermaids:
Name: Victoria Sarene by Ponats
Age: 19 (74 in Human years)
Extra powers: Able to form large quantities of water and freeze larger amounts of water. We also be able to summon his animal; a giant water serpant that awaits its Guardian to summon it. The water serpent is able to move both on land and on water. It is also able to shrink to a tiny size so that the Guardian can carry it around.
Object: The Trident. The Trident will allow the Guardian of Solas to form megaplumes. Megaplumes are a phenomenon. When underwater volcanoes erupt, the lava is encased in the cold water (like a bubble). The lava is carried to the surface in this water bubble. Upon reaching the surface, the bubble bursts at a tremendous power, releasing the burning hot lava all around. With the Trident, the Guardian will be able to form these megaplumes even without water or volcanoes around.

4. Jagantha, the land of elves:
Name: Tarasynora Vaervenshalice (Tara) by TheGoddessReborn
Age: 256 looks 19
Extra Powers: Able to recall all the spells of his ancestors and chant them with ease. He is also able to heal now.
Object: Bow of death. Any arrow shot from this bow, will ensure certain death.

5. Pastecew, the land of sprites:
Name:
Extra Powers: Will be able to communicate with the trees and the animals of land. Able to manipulate plants.
Object: Gado horn. This small horn will allow him to call all the animals of land to aid him when in these times of darkness.

6. Anothadis, land of Caluxes,
Name:
Extra Powers: Ability to call upon any weapon from a portal. If she thinks of the weapon, it will appear.
Object: Eye of the dragon. It is a ring that allows the Guardian to awaken the dragons to aid them in the battle against Garthox. (dragons are thought to be extinct but are actually in hiding)

7. Hisbanl, the land of Karnogs:
Name: Gabriel Whist by Near
Age: 17
Extra Powers: Ability to create creatures using darkness. Will be able to shape shift into anything he comes in contact with.
Object: Sitora armour. With this armour, Gabriel will be able to repel any spells cast. The armour will conform to the shape of any animal he changes into. The armour also allows him to withstand several attacks.


8. Belluvier, the land of the Dreigns:
Name:
Extra Powers: Will now be able to move at the speed of light. Will also recieve all the knowledge of all his/her ancestors. Will be able to read people's minds.
Object: Hador chain. This necklace will allow him/her to control people's minds, ultimately controlling their actions. He/she can control up to 15 beings' minds.

Powers:
The ability to fly for as long as she requires, she is very strong, and can communicate with any animals she encounters in the skies, she can manipulate air but at the cost of her strength.
Weapons: The Orbs, and a sgain dubh which is a small very sharp knife that she wears in a sheath in her boot, she uses it more like a dart,, throwing it and using wind for it to gain speed and distance.

Appearance:
her hair is a very light strawberry blonde and goes past her waist, going darker in the winter, she wears it in a tight plait with one strand of hair loose that just reaches her collar bone. her face is very angular, with high cheek bones, and full lips, her top lip slightly fuller than her bottom - but still extremely beautiful/ her eyes are a very strange but beautiful grey - almost silver in the right light. she had great black feather wings, that shine blues, green and purples in the sun - like a magpies feathers... these wings - that are taller than she is are disguised by a close knitted cloak that had been passes down generation to generation. she always has tight trousers and flat boots on - in the right boot is her sgain dubh. she wears a lilac blouse - or sometimes a light blue one - with a floaty material that shows off the edge of her flat stomach, buttons up to just under her throat. wear a lodestar necklace lies, hiding the orb within the golden spines. she is hardly ever seen without a golden eagle close behind, either perched on her shoulder or flying close, this eagle has become her companion since she saved it when it was a young hatchling – she called him 'Lee', a shortened term for the word leannan - an old world term for sweetheart.

Brief history:
until she was 15, her parents thought the strengths of her ancestral guardians wasn't within her, it wasn't until she was climbing in a forest and she found and saved Lee that her powers shone through, her wings - with feathers that stroke the floor - grew to full size in the space of 2 months. and with the aid of the eagle hatchling and her mother, she mastered her skills quickly, her mother named leannan because she saw the bird as a good luck omen for her daughter. At 17 she took up her responsibility to protect the worlds, and left her family behind, travelling all over - sending Lee back with letters to her mother and her three older brothers, Brann, Dughall and Dide .

She hasn't been informed of it yet, but Brann had recently been killed, being the youngest of her three brothers and also the smallest – even though she was younger she's always felt very protective over Brann. Since her brothers death Dide has set out to find Layna, neither his mother or his one remaining brother – Dughall – think this is a good idea, they don't want to endanger more of the decreasing family. But Dide is the only one of this generation of Isabeaus other than Layna that has grown wings – his aren't as fine as Laynas. The tips only reaching his knees, but his are a magnificent fiery red.

Dide wants to find his sister to tell her of Branns death – something none of them can bear to inform her of in their letters – to comfort her and to see if he can aid his only sister in the great challenge she faces – he carries a longbow and arrows fletched in green from their grand fathers peacock, he cant control the wind with just his thoughts, but somehow, he can shoot his arrows around a corner and still into the centre of the target, which many believe is his sub-conciousness sending some of the family power into his arrows.

Dide knows Layna stays in small inns where ever she goes, concealing her wings and her blood. And with so many places she could be anywhere. But he is determined to find her – no matter the costs.

Hmm I would like to reprise my role as Garthox unless you have already given that away to someone else. And you know I never really had a character sheet for him, just a cosmic horror who controlled dreams and shadows. Unless you need to make a sheet I will just continue writing him the way I have been.
The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.

Brief history: Tara is the primer magus in her homeland of Jagantha, she was taken to study for the mages guild in her home after alot of gribbling and flghting she rose to the top of her class. She had become ready enough to take on missions and help protect her homeland. Eventually she had attained the rank of Master-Wizard and became an avid part of her guild. and now she actually is the assistant to the arch-mage and helping him run the Jagantha Guild

ImmortalEcstasy you're accepted : ) It's a good bio. If you've got any questions about the roleplay please do ask. And just to confirm, your character is a fairy right?

Skallagrim, I would definitely want to have you as Garthox again. I can think of no one else to play the essence of evil : ) You don't need a character sheet.

TheGoddessReborn, yeah you can definitely reserve a spot. But just to check which race would you want cause the human Guardian is already taken up by myself if you refer to the character sheet above. The Elf Guardian is still available. Do let me know so that I can reserve the spot for you.

Perhaps...perhaps...dear humans I shall save your world for last and savor the crushing despair as I send forth my the dreams and shadows to torment the people who have long forgotten the power that is Garthox....

she's the size of a human but with wings... i thinkt the proper term for that is Faerie, but yes, basically a fairy. :)
i'll just add that in.
oh, and because of her cape most people presume she's human, because it covers her wings completely and hides the shape of them also.
ill be adding quite a bit more to the bio just to let oyu know, as i try to put quite a lot of depth into my characters - i get sucked into their world, if that makes sense. :D

Powers: Raziel is a master of the dark arts his powers root from the realm of the dead He is able to bring life to the dead and rip out a living beings very soul and bend it to his will. He is able to move freely in and out of the realm of the living to the specter realm basically turning himself in to a ghost. He can all so regenerate lost body parts over a period of time
Weapons: Soul Bane - A blade made of souls that forms over Raziel's right arm its power drawn from the very souls he devours. The Soul bane it not for just cutting flesh but it slowly feeds on whatever it cuts soul sapping there energy and giving it to Raziel.

Brief history: Raziel is Garthox adviser and spy when needed Raziel was used for his keen mind and ruthless battle tactics.
Raziel try's to keep a close watch over his comrades trying to keep them in order and from becoming to powerful. Raziel is cold to the touch and void of emotions he lives only to make his masters dream of controlling the 8 worlds a reality. There is nothing he would not do for Garthox and no one he would not kill. Raziel controls a massive army the army of the dead they do not hunger they do not feel they do not get tired. They only walk the living realm to add more to there numbers and destroy those who oppose Garthox.

ImmortalEcstasy, lol I get what you mean by being sucked into your character. Our previous roleplayer tigerpeace actually created the whole background of her clan and all for the race that you've taken up. Please feel free to create whatever history or background you want to for your character or your World.

Near, your character's power description is good and not overly done. Thanks : )

Interesting, interesting. I am thinking about doing the mermaid guardian. However I should ask rules about them. What do they normally look like? Can they go on land? Do they have forms?

And also, even if guardians, how devious can we be? >:3

I'd just like to make something clear though - i live in the UK and am (i think) 8 hours ahead of you. so ofcourse the times i'm online will be different. its made it a little difficult in previous RPs, so i just thought i'd warn you all. :D

hey Ponats. Bellow is what our previous roleplayer, Blazingstar, cooked up for the Mermaid Guardian. You don't have to follow it but it will atleast give you an idea. Please do feel free to start off on a fresh mermaid character...
And by devious I'm assuming some ulterior motive that has nothing to do with saving the world? Possible....just let me know what you have in mind and we can work something out : )



Name: Kairen Al-manar

Race: Merperson/mermaid, Solas born.

Age: 80 human years, is 20 based on the Solas calendar and has the facial structure of a 20 year old.

Powers( your powers have to based on the descriptions I have given in the Race Section): As of now Kairen can subtly manipulate water to create medium strength currents, more an aid to swimming or a slight hinderance. He can also chance water to ice/vice versa. In addition to this, he can form water projectiles...

Weapons(you can only have 2 weapons on you): Kairen uses a pair of hand blades (Similiar to Illidan's from Warcraft 3 if you have played it). Each gauntlet he wears contains a large, metal disk painted with a blue backgroung and a golden trident in the middle on top (knuckle side). One blade sticks out from either side of the disk, each one 3 inches thick at the base, tapering to a sharp point gradually. Each blade has a length of one and a half feet. The blades are slightly convex, bending outward with a sharp edge on the forward side. The back is formed of a series of tiny, incredibly sharp serations. The blades are formed of a soft, flowing sea steel (found only on Solas deep beneath the waves) as the core. This core is a dull gray in color and serves to provide a cushion and shock absorber for when another weapon strikes the weapon. Outside this core is the same steel, but a harder, tempered form of it. This is honed to a razor edge on the convex side and serrations on the other side. If you are familiar with the forging of Japanese katana, you know how this weapon is created. In addition to being a weapon, they serve as a "flipper" for the merman, able to provide extra surface area when swimming. The mechanics of the weapon allow them to slide back, forming up along his elbow, which he usually keeps them when not in combat. Please let me know if this counts as 2 seperate weapons, as he uses them on each hand, I was kind of thinking that they were.....
Appearance (pictures can be used): Due to growing up on a world dominated by water, Kairen possesses the attributes of the Merfolk. He possesses slightly webbed hands and feet, even though he doesn't have a tail. His body is long, of a 6'4" height, and heavily streamline, like that of a runner. His body, while not exactly "buff" is muscled with layers of rippling tissue beneath his skin. His hands and feet do have "Claws" of about 2 inches. His skin, due to the oceanic nature of his people, always appears wet; however (yeah, this is kinda gross for a sentient being) the coating is actually a watered down mucus covering. Like what you would find on a slug...only lighter. This serves a overall protective purpose. His skin is very smooth, not scaled, but is a light blue, ocean water color.The claws are black but are the same as human finger nails..except they are sharper. His face is thin, with pitted, hooded eyes. The eyes appear feral, and possess a bright golden hue. His jawline is sharp, and his ears are..non existant. They are simply holes in the sides of his head. His teeth are long and sharp, meant for eating fish and other meats. His cheekbones are high and he has a long forehead. His hair is long, falling down 5 inches beneath his shoulder blades unrestrained. His bangs are held back of a circlet of steel with a Aquamarine where the center of his forehead is. In terms of clothing, he wears no feet covering other than a fish skin wrapping around his feet, that leaves the ball and toes uncovered and reach up to the knee.. His hands are covered by the same wrap, with a shark-scale/shark skin glove being worn over that, which is reinforced with the cartilage of that same beast. Note: Sharks on Solas aren't our sharks on Earth, they are large, more fierce, and have tougher body parts. On top of that glove, is the Disk Blades he wears everywhere. The lower half of his body is covered by a knee length shark scale "skirt", with a woven cord which holds it in place. On top of this is a form fitting, shark scale tunic. His ears are decorated with an ear ring in the right ear. He also wears a band of gold on his upper arm on his right side, and a similiar band on his left fore arm. His most noticeable feature is the slits that run down his neck on both sides. Yes, he is an amphibious creature and can breathe with gills as well as longs.

Brief history: Karien was once the son of a semi-wealthy adventurer in the under-water city of Aranus. However, his father suddenly disappeared, probably being victim to one of the mutated monsters of the depths of Solas. With the death of his father, he was taken in by his uncle (in Solarin society, one must be with an adult male until the age of 23 Solarin time), a wealthy diplomat between the various City-States that lie beneath the waves of the water planet. However, Karien despised his uncle, who was a material, greedy and obsessive individual who was the polar opposite of his now deceased brother. Refusing to have the diplomat be his guardian, he openly invoked the rite of Sharan-amar....death combat without weapons but with claws and teeth. The youth managed to win...his uncle having grown weak and fat due to his years of leisure activity; however, the price for winning your freedom in this circumstance, was exile. He swam away, and this is where his new life begins. (More will be shown through rp.)

Name: Victoria Sarene

Gender: Female

Race: Merfolk/Mermaid

Age: 19 (74 in Human years)

Role: Guardian

Powers:

Physical Manipulation of Water: Vic is able to water from the atmosphere or from bodies of water and move it around as she pleases. Pushing it, spinning it, or otherwise throwing it into things. Just like the normal properties of water, she use it to smash into people or make it seem like it is raining. Water is not very deadly at the speeds she can push, but it can knock someone down or even push them back. She used to not be able to conjure the water before guardianship or move so much.

Conjuring takes a few seconds before it is ready. In any places where humidity goes to zero, she becomes almost useless. Unable to conjure water.

Temperature Manipulation of Water: Vic has an unusual special ability with water. Instead of just being able to steam up or freeze water like her brethren, she can superheat and supercool water. Supercooling allows her to instantly encase someone or something in ice or make the water explode violently on them. Now this doesn't mean she can freeze something solid or burn something to a crisp, but a normal mortal would find themselves in danger of dying if directly hit. At first, she could only do this with a small amount of water... but now as a guardian she can do large quantities.

However, the spell isn't so simple as get water and throw. She has to spin the water and get rid of impurities as she is cooling or heating. She can make the water spin in a globe in mid air while she works her magic. The effect takes about fifteen seconds to get just right, but she is getting better at it everyday. If no water is near by, she needs time to form the water as well get it prepared.

Trident: With the trident in hand, she becomes almost unstoppable with water. Able to create even larger effects with shorter amounts of time. She can conjure the water from the atmosphere instantly and superheat/supercool it in a mere second. She can even be useful in low humidity areas, sapping water from the atmosphere and other things.

Living things. When she gets pissed enough and fiery enough with the trident in hand, she is able to begin to sap water from people and vegetation. This is what makes her truely deadly and dangerous.

Weapons: The Trident of the Solas: The weapon originally looked much different then it used to. Whether the weapon merely changes to the user or if her soul has somehow corrupted it, she wields a weapon that looks like silvers, greens, and blues... with red and black splashed on it. Like blood on a coral bay, it mimics her soul.

Appearance/Personality: Vic has a rough and outer look to her. It does not looks like she has seen any battles but it does look like she has experience a fair share pain before. Her eyes always seem to be glaring at others. Her face either scowling or bitter. She almost always appears either pissed off or out right unhappy.

But her personality does seem to shift when she is with others, but not for the better. She becomes devious and manipulative. trying to cause fights or get people as angry as she feels inside. A lot of the times she will grin or laugh in peoples' faces. Shouting vicinities or cursing, especially when she gets drunk. She discovered on the human's plane of a grain distilled alcohol called vodka and she never seems to stop drinking it. She is a mean drunk and has been called an evil bitch many times before.

It really doesn't help that she has powers. She is not one to show off, but she is someone who use her powers on the drop of a needle. When she feels threatened or even pissed off, she has been known to leave a victim with burning blisters or frostbite.

Height: 5' 1"

Weight: 118 lbs

Hair: Light Brown, held to down to her knees if let loose. She wears it around her neck, like a scarf.

Eyes: Aqua Green and Blue

Her appearance in water or in land are two very different things. She has two forms to speak of, one that makes her look almost human and one that shows her mer heritage. Her mermaid body is covered completely with a scale like blueish/green coat. No skin to be shown, but the coat feels like dolphins skin when touched. The merfolk have protection on there body, claw like webbed hands and spires on the tail fin. The tail is like a dolphins or whales, going up and down instead left and right like a fish. They gills on there upper chest lower neck area, used for breathing under water. Merfolk also have odd pointed ears, like a elfs' but droop back instead of point straight up.

The human form is a lot different. No fins, no webbing, no gills. The occasional small patches of scales show up on her body, including her face, where it becomes obvious of not being human. The claw like hands still remain, claw like toes mimicking her hands. The only thing that doesn't outright change is her ears, that still remain scaled and pointed.

When a merfolk is in a badly weak state, they find themselves going to their merfolk form. Which if not near a water source, is very very bad. She would not able to breath anymore if that was to happen. She drinks plenty of water, especially because of her drinking problems.

Val doesn't where armor, nor did she normally carry weaponry. In fighting style, she is almost full mage. Her clothing is nothing that stands out and a full cloak to cover her merfolk appearance. She walks light and carries lots of waterskins, in case of low humidity areas.

Brief History: She hates her dead brother Kairen, or half brother would be better put. Same mother, different father. And did she love her mother dearly. She used to live with her older brother and mother, together as a family without fathers. But one day her brother was became a guardian and left them. Off to do some quest that she did not understand. After that day, her mother just seemed to lose energy. Didn't want to work, play, or even move. It was as if her soul was stripped away and she was living in a corpse. Her mom died one day, the same day her brother seemed to of vanished. And the same day... she became a guardian in his foot steps.

Her heart became dark after that day, leaving her homeland and going to the human's world. The only remembrance of her mother is a locket she wears on her neck. Something she might even kill someone over. People do not get away with insulting her mother, she always punishes them.
