I closed my eyes as commanded and soon I felt my body moving. I felt my arms push and pull, my knees bending, my body turning. The motion felt so fluid and natural that my body responded naturally to it. When the base of my palms joined together, I let out a deep breath. I didn't even notice that Shiro's body was no longer guiding my own as I continue the routine. I continue the same routine a few times before I opened my eyes. I blink a couple of times and I turn my head to see if Shiro was behind me. I look beside me and saw Shiro was doing the same routine with me. I smiled and I turn my attention back to my routine, letting my body follow the routine gracefully and naturally.
I always enjoy training with Shiro, it was a lot better than training with the Master. Oh, how I dreaded sitting in the room with stacks of books and scrolls in front of me. The Master would teach me and help me improve on my language while I would get frustrated. Sometimes I would turn my head to the window and watch the others train but when I do, the Master would always turn my head and make me read again. My northern accent was still a bit strong on my tongue but thanks to the Master, I was able to communicate better and understand what Shiro would say to me.
I stop at the end of my routine and I turn and bowed to Shrio. "Nsoromma, the routines that you give me are too easy. I want something more challenging." I said, speaking slowly and a bit softly. I wanted to be challenged and I wanted to see my knowledge of what Shiro had taught me be put into action. I look up at Shiro and wondered if he would agree with me or if he would suggest otherwise.
