Shay forced herself to stop crying, grasping the stranger's hand for assistance. "Thank you."

"Hey, there she is!" a man shouted from a few building's away, pointing directly at Shay.

"Oh God, no!" She held tighter onto the man's hand, looking him deeply in the eyes, "They're going to kill me!"

Kill? He wasn't going to let a woman die on his watch. He pushed the girl behind him, putting himself between the men and her. With a pull, he tore off his civilian clothing, letting his assassin outfit show. "Do you really want to lose your life trying to take hers?" Tyfer snapped at the men. Pulling blades off the suit, he readied himself for their move, whether it be retreat or fight.

Andalusia snapped into action as she saw what was going on. She felt a moment's surprise as Tyfer tore off his suit to reveal Assassin's gear. So that's why he's so proficient with a knife. Then all other thought was swept from her mind as she saw one of the men pull out a bow and ready an arrow. Oh no you don't. There was ivy covering the side of the building that the men were stationed on, and with a wave of her hand, it snapped to life, rushing towards the unsuspecting men on the roof.

Gathering her senses, Shay stood tall and tried to think of her next move. I can do this...I've been practicing.

She slowed her breathing slightly, to better concentrate. She refused to be a victim, and her key would help her stand up. A nearby man rushed toward her, and as he did so, a large icicle formed in front of him. He stopped, confused, but still angry. "What the hell is this?!"

It plunged deeply into his leg, making him unable to walk, but not killing him. She knew herself enough to know that killing wasn't in her blood.

A large amount of water splashed forth, as if being sprayed out of a firehose. It hit three men and threw them back, knocking them out. There were only two men left, but they were closing in on the two individuals who chose to help her.

Out of the corner of her eye, Andalusia saw the new girl taking on about four different men. I've got to help her! she thought desperately, but the man with the bow and arrow was now trained on her. Quickly, she grabbed his leg with the vines that she'd enchanted, and while he was distracted, she yanked him off the roof. She heard a crack when he hit the ground and winced slightly, but there was no time to feel pity for the men who were trying to kill them. She turned her attention back towards the new girl and saw to her surprise that she was blasting them with water and ice. Another mage? What is going on here? she thought. "Do you need my help?" She called to the girl.

Surprised by the girl's icy blow, and still impressed with Andalusia's magic, Tyfer quickly lunged himself and Scaythe at the two remaining men. With a little push from the wind, he was on top of one of them in an instant, and Scaythe flew toward the other, penetrating his throat with his beak. Tyfer pushed his knife through the neck of the man beneath him, killing him. Better the man than himself or the girl, Tyfer thought to himself. He had to mentally convence himself that he had done the right thing. It wasn't normal for him to kill, unless there wasn't an alternative that he could easily see. He picked himself back up and Scaythe retook his perch, the trachea of the man he just attached in his beak. Tyfer noticed this quickly. “Aw, Scaythe? Finish eating before you get back on me.” Scaythe understood, and swallowed the morsel quickly, not enjoying the taste for as long as he desired. Turning toward the girls he spoke again, “Sorry about that, for a bird, Scaythe is a bit of a pig.” He smiled at his stupid little joke, but turned his attention to a more important matter. The girl. “Madam, are you okay?”

Shay wasn't used to being called Madam, so her face grew confused as he spoke to her. She was about to respond, when one of the men who had been knocked out stood up and yelled, "She belongs to Lady Aramin! She's property, nothing more! You have to return with us, Shay, or we'll have your head! Those are your choices! Lady Aramin won't stand by and let you run out, you belong to her!"

Frowning, Shay reached to hold onto the nearby gentleman's hand. He had been brave enough to help her, without even knowing why. He would surely make sure she wasn't taken with them. The female he had been with had also proved to be kind enough to assist, and for that she owed them both.

She clung to his hand for dear life, leaning into his side slightly and staring up at him. "Please, I don't want to go back. I'm not property, I'm a human being."

"Even I, an assassin, have a higher appreciation for life than you. You do not deserve your life if you treat the lives of others like this" Tyfer looked at the man who was even now demanding the girl, Shay, to return to a Lady Aramin. He slowly removed his hand from hers, motioning to her to not move, that he would take care of this. With a cold, calculated arch, he grabbed a knife from behind himself, and flung it into shoulder of the man, and with an identical motion on his left, another knife flew into his other shoulder. "Who the hell are you? Why do you care for this thing?" the man cringed and fell to his knees. "She is a woman, not a thing," Tyfer switfly punched the man, hard, breaking in his jaw. The man fell back down a bloody mess, and Tyfer reclaimed his knives. "I'm sure that whoever this Lady Aramin is, she won't have men stupid enough to try to get you again. I don't think anyone would willing walk into this." he pointed to the man. "He'll probably live, maybe not, but the ones who aren't dead will go back home, tail between their legs. You should be safe for a while... but for right now, how hurt are you? I can tend minor wounds if needed." He placed his knives back away and walked back to the girl, Shay.

Nathan had been eating quite peacefully in a nearby inn, he could feel the difference in the air..an energy, he knew what it was.and it did'nt bother him, though the sudden comotion outside did.
He put down his food and finished off his rum.."Whats this..?" he said to himself as he went outside..and heard one of the men declere the young lady property, his normally calm face turned into a nasty scowl..slavery was wrong, period, his power was of chaos, and he belived in it heart and soul " he recognized the girl...Shay?, he thought her name was..a trouble maker for this "Lady Aramin" he rolled his eyes, he liked the young ladyies spirt..and he loathed nobles. He walked up beside Shay and her savior "Nice work" he told the young man, motioning to the injured guards.."The nobles around here are rather..stupid" he smiled at them both "Shay..right?" he could sense somthing..diffrent about both of them.

Kyro had been keeping to the shadows all days. Due to the recent uprisings of Tareias' power, he didn't want to run any chances of harming any innocents. He still couldn't remember when his darkside, Tareias, had started trying to take control. Sometimes he felt like Tareias could even give him thoughts that weren't even real. It was a terrible mess he was in, but he believed that if he could heed the strange call, then he would be free of Tareias. Tareias, being the darkside of Kyro, knew that there were other keys besides the key of darkness, which Kyro kept hidden, and Tareias wanted them. All of them. He wanted power, and Kyro could hardly stand it. He finally reached the town where the call was coming from and entered in time to see fighting near a tavern. He shrugged, better not risk letting Tareias out this close to the source of the call. he silently entered the tavarn.

Shay paused upon seeing an older, taller gentleman approach and address her. "Yes, I'm Shay, and you are?" Something about him and the rest of the others seemed familiar, as if she had met them before. Yet she knew that to be untrue.

She turned to the two individuals who had originally helped her, "What are your names? I owe you both my life." Embarrassed for the others to know her proffession, she slid her arms around herself tightly.

When she had run away from Lady Aramin, she had been wearing only a black silk nightgown that reached just above her knees. On her way out she shoved her feet into a nearby pair of cowboy boots that hadn't even belonged to her (and were at least two sizes too big). She had also somehow managed to grab her red, loose sweater that wrapped around her, unbuttoned. Her hair somehow managed to look perfect in a high ponytail with loose strands framing her face, and with no makeup her face still looked beautiful due to her natural beauty.

She wished to sink deep into a hole, deep and dark to hide herself. Her face flushed lightly from the thought of them knowing what she did for a living, and she could almost feel the shame building up in her throat.

"Im Nathan.." he replied, giving her a quick once over, and gave a short bow..he looked back to where the men were.."Lady Aramin will have to get over her loss then..I dont think any of us really care about her opinion.." he gestured to himself, Shay, and the young man.."Or you could..*make* us give her up, and get killed in the process." He tilted his head to the side and smiled at the men with obvious distain..

"If you wish to know my name, it's Tyfer, at your service," he gave her a slight bow, "Please don't hold a debt to me, it was the right thing to do, a woman should never be in such a position. I only wish I could have helped sooner..." he finally took the time to take in the full form of Shay, "...but my question for you, Lady Shay, who is this Aramin, and what does she want with you.. and why are... well you're... I'm sorry, you're probably not dressed as you'd please, I shouldn't comment." He averted his eyes from her body and focused on her face, which was now in a blush. "I didn't mean to... I mean... I..." Tyfer struggled to think of the right words. He wasn't used to this situation. Normally having kept to himself, prolonged conversation with a female, and one who thinks she owes him her life, was unusual for him. He sighed to himself, "And you, Nathan, how are you connected to this?"

Nathan nodded to Tyfer "Several reasons..the first being that I have little love for nobles & thier ilk, second, I have a very..low tolerance to peope who treat women in such a way" he pointed to the injured guard "Nice work by the way, and third.." his eyes flashed for a moment, "We have much to discuss..." He gestured towards the inn.."And little time to do it in."

"Pleased to meet you, Tyfer."

Frowning, Shay looked to her feet. "I...I was raised in the brothel across town. I was taken in by Lady Aramin as an infant and was taught the way to be a proper escort." she sighed and held her arms tighter around herself. "I never liked it, but I had to do it. I had nowhere else to go, she owned me."

Looking back up at the man, she continued sadly, "When I ran, I didn't have time to grab any articles of clothing, but I did it anyways. I never had the strength to run until now. I felt I had somewhere to go, and I can still feel it pulling me."

"to the tavarn." Kyro sat nearby, hoodp pulled over his eyes hiding his face. "that's where you are being called to." He stood up, pulling his red hilted sword out of the ground nearby where he had set it and sliding it into his shealth before continuing. "and fate would have it you would meet at such timing. So, Tyfer, Nathan, shay, and...?" He didn't know the shamen womens name yet, but he intended to know it by the end of the day. "Let's go, as our friend here stated." He pointed to nathan. "we need to talk."

Nathan nodded.."I have a room at the inn, its secure & quite..or it should be.." he put an arm around Shay, blocking her from gawkers "And some spare clothes..a little big but warm." he waved a hand around, cloacking them in the illiusion that they were going elsewhere as they began moving towards the inn.

Sophia finnaly reached the next city.She got off her horse and walked through the city gates.Sophia tied the horse up to and random pole and kept walking as she walked through the crowd of people she "bumped" into just about every other one taking what they had in their pockets.She bumped into one guy who looked to be wealthy.She slid her handin his pocket and took his wallet.She then turned around walking backwards now and said" sorry!" then turned back around and smiled. She saw the tavern now from a distance and a few people standing outside of it. She put her hood over her head and started to walk in the tavern.As she pasted the people just outside of it she bumped into the man who had his arm around a girl walking toward the inn.In a quick motion she took his money out from his pocket and continued to walk into the tavern.Once she was inside the tavern she took down her hood and sat down at a table.Sophia then ploped down her back pack and started to go through it to see what she had got from the people in this town.

she pulled out a bunch of money and put it in her pocket.She then pulled out what seemed to be a squeeky toy.
" Are you kidding me?" she said aloud to herself, then threw the toy on the ground.The tavern owners pet wolf ran over to the toy and picked it up *squeek* Sophia looked down and smiled as she pet the wolf.She put everything back into her backpack and started to think why she was here.She touched her key on her necklace.After a moment she realized that the toy stoped sqeeking and the people wernt making any noise.She looked around and saw that time had stopped.She got up and walked around the tavern poking at the people who looked like manicans.She sat back down at her table and looking at the still wolf.She took in a deep breath and exhaled.*squeek* Time had started to move again " what the hell just happened?"

Before anyone had noticed, a gleaming sword was pointed in Sophia's face. "Hello, hello, hello. I see you also have key." Kyro noticed, sword tip dangling right in between sophia's eyes. "A thief, so you stole it." Kyro teleported through the shadows, snatching her bag, and returning. "Stealing is a crime miss, and I'd hate to see a beautifal gal' like yourself behind bars." He tossed the bag back to her. "Who are you?"
