Is it bad that my brain instantly jumped to Avalon High?

Not really. I guess there was some kind of society in that as well, but I was thinking of something more along the lines of a villainous or at least self serving group. People who are trying to manipulate events to gain power through Arthur's reincarnation, and helps feed the conflict Arey is (or at least will be) having with herself, as I've envisioned her as desperately and stubbornly trying to deny her past self or anything to do with it.

I think it may even be a fun conflict to write for, Miranda and co. (who have accepted their past-selves) trying to save Arey from the manipulations of a group who are in turn, also trying to gain her trust. Not to mention dealing with the ever looming threat of Mordered. I just say it as a helpful long term plot thickener.

I was also struck by a vague character idea for a modern Maleagant character, as I’ve actually become quite interested in the character. His persona died out a little bit when the character of Mordred grew in prominence throughout the myths, but the earliest telling of him, by the name of Melwas, had him painted as a much craftier, enigmatic figure with certain powers, as his father was a King of some “otherworldly” realm. A lot of more modern portrayals also have him being far more manipulative, and given towards playing with people’s heads, especially Lancelot and Arthur’s. I thought it might be fun to play with.

So anyone want to take a guess about the reincarnated identities of the two boys are? :) If you all want, I can put up character sheets for them soon, but I thought it might add a layer of mystery not knowing.

Hey Thorait...do you mind writing your posts a little more clearly? I'm really confused as to what just happened. And it is a fantasy role play. Lancelot's whole knife deal is perfectly plausable in this.

1 for 2. The blonde's name is Alan if that helps, as most of my character's names have some kind of play towards their past life's name.

I'm going to post Miranda's retaliation to Mordred once people have received and reacted to the message she sent. Just so that Atlanta will have something to say as well.

Close, but he's the reincarnation of Elaine of Corbenic. I always thought that she was a far more interesting character that Elaine of Astolat, and there are far more possibilities to work with regarding that character, as I've read different interpretations on her and the events regarding herself and Lancelot. Not to mention the whole Galahad thing and the interesting possibilities there.

Fading Life: Reigning Chaos

Though be warned. This is a highly literate role play. I expect around five hundred words per post, and much detail. The character sheet is quite long.

Sorry I haven't been able to be active lately guys. The last month or so has been final projects, papers and job interviews for me, so my batterie was pretty low regarding the creative spark for the last couple weeks. But now first semester is over, I'm sporting a proud honor roll worthy 3.429 GPA, I have a temporary job lined up for next semester, and I have put up a nice long post here for you guys, so I really hope this hasn't died. :)

I still check in! I'm praying for life to return to the parched earth that is this roleplay.
