Gracie laughed as he said it was really cool. "Thanks, and yeah, I am." she said, also turning in her seat to face him as the bus jolted forward. "Thank God we're moving." she sighed. This was a bit strange, but Gracie wanted to talk to Joel.

"Yeah I supposed," he chuckled. "Can't say i'm really looking forward to this field trip thuogh. "I mean, five hours of exploring some dead guys house doesn't exactly sound thrilling. Now maybe if we were going to the Library of Congress or a Research Center..." he traield off. He always sounded so nerdy when he talked about his study interests. "Or a Patriots game," he said forcing a laugh.

Gracie raised an eyebrow at him. Unusual. she thought. "You're not the typical jock." she laughed to him, moving to the empty so that she could hear him over the loud noise.

Skai nodded at him then pointed at his headphones. "MSI right?" she said turning towards him a little bit. "I've only heard about four of their songs a good band" she smiled. She turned and looked in the back to see that Gracie had started talking to Joel, she laughed "You know you like him" she said then turning back to the boy. "What other bands do you listen to?"

Gracie's eyes widened at Skai's comment, and she felt her cheeks heat up a bit. "Shut up." she dismissed quietly, before turning back to Joel. "So........you're brother looks dead." She observed, pointing to Nick who was slumped against the window.

"I'll take that as a compliment," he replied. True, he played football, but only because it was something his father wanted. Running for class president was just something to put on his college application. He didn't even stop to think what type of reputation that would earn him.

He swallowed hard as one of the other kids on the bus yelled a comment back at them.

He turned to look at Nick and slapped the back of his hand into his chest. Nick jumped in his seat and flipped Joel off.

"He's fine," Joel said laughing. "You're not the typical band geek..."

Gracie looked at Skai and shook her head in a joking fashion, before turning back in time to see Joel slap Nick in the chest. She laughed as he flipped Joel off. It was then that she realised her British accent sounded strange between all the Americans.
"I like to be unique." She smiled. The bus started to go down an uneven country lane, making all the passengers bounce up and down like a spazzing bouncy ball.

"Mature," Char muttered, noticing Nick's move and fiddling with her iPod. "That's right, flip him off. That'll show him who's boss. Out of mild curiousity, do you get your come-backs from fifth-graders?"

She'd felt kind of out it, watching everyone else banter and talk, and had taken to skipping songs every three seconds, not taking long enough to even hear the intro. After a few minutes, she had landed on the Grateful Dead- like that was a surprise- Scarlet Begonias.

Fiddling with the many layers of chokers and necklaces adorning her neck, her gaze strayed, against her will, to Nick, the features of her face almost softening.

"Well, you're good at being unique," Joel said smiling. He hoped it was a compliment. it seemed he always stuck his foot in his mouth when it came to Gracie. She unnerved him...in a good way.

"You know Char," Nick said opening his eyes, "I can think of so many better ways for you to occupy your mouth rather than talking."

"Yeah, probably. But none of them really involve you, do they?" Char shot back. "I would sooner take steel wool to my tongue."

Lie.

"And what would you do without my witty repartee and clever comments, anyway?" she continued, hitting repeat on Scarlet Begonias. It seemed fitting, in a twisted way. "I mean, without my banter, surely you would descend into a pit of anguish and angst."

"She wore scarlet begonias tucked into her curls, I knew right away she was not like other girls, other girls," she sang along softly.

"I'd be fine but my chiropractor would be broke. See he's been making a fortune trying to repair the damage from repeated verbal whiplash. Speakin of which, know any good doctors that can remove a serious pain in the ass?" He rolled back over and tried to catch some sleep but with the bus hitting every damn pothole on the road, it wasn't very successful.

Joel slipped his laptop back into his bag figuring it would be impossible to watch a movie now. Hopefully they were almost there. He didn't care for long bus rides especially when he was caught sitting between Nick and Char.

Klaus smiled a little "MSI are kick ass" he commented then held an ear phone out to her, "Want to listen? I'll educate you" he dug out his ipod and flicked it to 'get it up' by Msi. He sighed, finally on their way, he liked being driven places, it meant nothing but an hour or so of sitting and doing fuck all. His perfect day.

"Thanks, I guess." She laughed to Joel, before the bus pulled to a stop. The house loomed over the bus, like a menacing black house. It was huge, big enough to get lost in. Gracie picked up her bag as the teacher announced to everyone that they had arrived. "Really?!" Gracie gasped quietly, before walking off the bus.

Joel stood to his feet and shouldered his backpack. "Nick wake up," Joel called but his counterpart continued to lay with his head against the window. "Fine, I'll see you inside." Joel quickly exited the bus and walked around to face the house. He stood next to Gracie and ran a hand through his hair. "How much do you want to bet it's haunted?"

Gracie bit her lip and looked down at the floor. She was petrified of three things: Needles, spiders and creepy places. She was certain that this was a big creepy place, and there would be spiders inside.
"Well,.........a lot." she said, looking at him.

When the bus stopped Klaus actually groaned, he didn't want to move from his position, pressed against the window with a pretty girl leant in close listening to his music. He turned off his ipod and tugged gently on the ear phones he tucked the ipod into his pocket, the one without the joints, he stood slowly, looking down at the girl as he waited for her to move.

Mika was wandering through a small run down town, she wasn't exactly sure where it was, just another place she had wandered into. She was wearing short black shorts and a black strap top, the hood of her cloak pulled up to cover her face. She appeared to others as a small unthreatening figure just passing through.

Alogar stood in the Plains of Blood, the air around him humid and thick. The Plains of Blood were in their namesake a crimson shade and covered in small brown spots.Upon closer inspection those haphazardly scattered brown spots were actually stones, each symmetrically made into a square with a different symbol in each one.

Alogar drifted from one stone to another his eyes were darting and and attentive,a great change from his usual absentminded and glazed look.Alogar continued to search through the stones until he had found one,a bit smaller than the rest and instead of an inscription there was a warp,Alogar's heart began to beat harder,The warp, that's it.I knew the magics were different today.Others are coming,I can feel it.

Alogar's smile began to edge its way to the corners of his face,"Some more people to play with,to show around, hehehe."Alogar started to chuckle,"I hope they last longer then the others did."THEY'RE COMING,AHAHA.They're coming."
y'know, I like rabbits and all. They're cute and they're horny. And if you're cute and you're horny, then you're probably happy, in that you don't know who you are and why you're even alive. And you just wanna' have sex, as many times as possible, before you die... I mean, I just don't see the point in crying over a dead rabbit! "Come on kids, keep up!" Shouted the teacher as he sped-walked up the longest driveway in history. Gracie put up the hood on her luminous orange hoodie, sheltering her hair from the small droplets of rain that were beginning to fall. That's the only thing the same between England and New York; It can go from being really nice, to fucking horrible in the space of ten minutes. She walked close to Joel, not really wanting to go into the dark, eerie mansion.

Kaizu was helped through the door of a shop as he left entered the run down streets of his home, a pile of goods in his hands for him to take back to his house for his parents, and on top was a bar of chocolate, his personal little treat for doing this for his family. He could’ve complained, but considering they were busy working, and his older sister had left home now, he was the only one to get this done in his spare time. He looked back at the shopkeeper that had helped him through the door while he had his hands full, flashing him a toothy grin as he called back,
”Thanks!” Before heading back home, balancing books on top of each other as he carefully walked across the dirt trodden paths around town. He narrowly avoided a small figure he hadn’t seen, wobbling as he realised that he almost hit someone, “Oh, sorry!” He quickly apologised, before his bar of chocolate slipped from the top of the pile and hit the floor, the crack from the bar signifying the fact that the bar had broken. He stopped, frowning down at the bar, “Awh, man.” He muttered, wondering how he was going to work this one out with his hands full.

Thinking of you, wherever you are.
