The Land of Make Believe...[IC - CLOSED] ( )

HERE'S THE LINK TO THE OOC = The Land of Make Believe..[NEED PEOPLE - OOC] LIMITED SPACE.

T.h.e. P.l.o.t.
Montiago High School in New York decided to take a group of selected pupils on a field trip to a Stately home. Upon arrival, every one seemed to stay together, until some of the kids at the back, who got bored decided to slip away under one those silly rope barriers with a sign on it saying no entry. They found a room that was relativly empty; It had a few comfortable chairs in so the group decided this would be a perfect place to hide until it was time to go home, the room just seemed like a normal room, until they shout the door. There was a sudden flash of bright light and they all found themselves on the top of a mysterious hill in the middle of nowhere.
Where the hell were they?

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Gracie sighed as she slung her bag over her shoulder. Jumping on the bus, she headed towards the back, not really wanting to go on this trip. She sat down one row from the back, next to the window. Knowing that it would take a good half an hour before everyone arrived, Gracie got out her writing book and began to compose a piece of music that had been floating around in her head for the past hour or so.

Skai got her bags and cursed the entire way to, and on the bus, she had better things to do then explore the 'outdoors'. What the hell was so great about it anyways, you got to see a deer or two, how exciting. She went directly to the back of the bus and sat next to Gracie, she had talked to her a few times, but they weren't the best of friends. At least she'd have someone to talk to. She looked forward to see who else had got on the bus and pulled out her ipod and plugged it in ready to rock out her entire time on the bus.

Char stepped on the bus with a supressed groan of frustration- there were about a million things to do on a pretty day, and she was relatively sure none of them included spending it with a bunch of teenagers she hated.

Adjusting the hemp halter top she wore underneath her baggy t-shirt, she blew past everybody to the very back, sitting in the last row and plopping her messenger bag next to her to ward off any idiots who got it into their heads to sit with her.

Digging through the tattered bag, she retrieved her iPod- although, it was actually her cousin's iPod and he didn't know she had stolen it and replaced all the screamo with Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin- and popped the earbuds into her ears. It was an effort to drown out the sound of her peers; an ultimately ineffective one, she thought, a scowl crossing her face as the other idiots began to shout and yell.

"Kill me now," she muttered, glancing out the window.
we're gonna revel in hating what's going on.

Gracie smiled as Skai sat down next to her. They'd spoken a few times, but not really that much. Gracie moved her bag slightly, giving Skai some more room. As more and more screaming teeangers piled on to the bus, Gracie groaned and put away her composition. Leaning back in the small, uncomfortable coach chair, she placed one iPod headphone in her ear. Switching the song to 'Misery Business', she began tapping her nails against her leg in time to the beat. Pushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear, Gracie leaned against the window gently. The loud music wasn't drowning out the screams of the unintelligent oafs that the school girls went all jelloid over.
This is going to be a long trip. she thought, closing her eyes.

Skai looked over at Gracie, she could hear her music through her ipod. 'Paramore, Misery Business". She mouthed the words "Good choice and then looked over at another girl who had sat in the back. She looked like she wouldn't go on this trip unless it was life or death. That was char for you. She had seen her at a few parties sometimes and they even talked at school. She laughed and turned her attention to the other screaming kids, and the preps that decided to do there make up on the bus. "Idiots" she mumbled out loud, one of them looked back at her but she just flicked her off and went on about her business.

Klaus was already seated on the bus, in the middle, on his own. His head was resting against the window as his eyes flicked shut, he had a really bad headache from drinking the night before and a stupid trip like this was all he needed. He wanted to shout and tell everyone to quieten down, but that was effort. This whole day would be effort, as soon as he got there he'd slip away and find somewhere to sleep. He touched his pocket where a few joints were ready rolled, he could easily stink the place out, green out, wake himself up with an alarm and leave.

No one would be any the wiser.

Char noticed Skai's glance in her direction, but decided to let it be. There was no point wasting all her fighting energy on somebody she really didn't have any problem with- especially not when the bus was filling with dozens of people Char would gladly shove off a cliff.

Deciding that The Offspring would be the most appropriate for this situation, she ran through the list of songs until she landed on You're Gonna Go Far, Kid, then turning the volume all the way up.

Despite herself, her eyes focused on the bus door, waiting to see who was passing through the door, her scowl deepening every time someone passed through the door.

Nick pulled his black bmw to a screechign halt in the student parking lot. He jumped out of the driver's seat and slung his bag over his shoulder.

"I don't think there's a single traffic law you didn't break," Nick said as he exited the passenger side. "haven't you ever heard of speed limits?"

"You said we shouldn't be late," Nick replied with a shrug. Joel climbed onto the school bus first. His eyes immediately found Gracie sitting in the back. His cheeks turned a light pink and he looked away.

"Let's sit up front," he muttered to Nick and took the very first seat. Nick rolled his eyes as he passed his twin brother.

"No, let's sit in the back." He grabbed Joel by the jacket and pulled him to the back of the bus. He pratically dragged him the entire way. He took the seat next to the window and yanked Joel into the seat next to him. "See, the back is nice," Nick said sarcastically. He pulled his hoodie off and used it as a pillow against the window. "Wake me when we get there."

Joel sighed. His brother was a lot of things, but subtle wasn't one of them. Joel forced himself not to turn around and look at the blonde he'd been crushing on all summer. Instead, he pulled his laptop out and shuffled through his dvd's to find a movie.

Klaus plugged himself into his ipod and turned it on shuffle, the first song that came on was Green Days Good riddance and he boosted the volume. His head pounded but at least it was because of the music and not the mindless chatter. He leant his back against the window and lifted his feet onto the seat, crossing his legs. The day would soon be over, and the next day could start, and so on and so on and... life was effort.

"Yeah, the back is nice. For me. Why are you two back here, hogging all my air?" snapped Char, glancing across the aisle, avoiding Nick's eyes. Running a hand through the red-black dreadlocks that had help make her infamous, she thrust her jaw forward. "Seriously, why don't you guys go talk to your little friends about whatever it is airheads enjoy talking about?"

She wasn't sure what the words were doing, coming out of her mouth. Surely there was someone she disliked more than Nick, but she wouldn't let the possibility that she was doing this just for an excuse to talk to him cross her mind.

Skai noticed a few other people she hadn't seen at the school, they where probably new since this was the first field trip of the year. she decided to make a few new friends. The first guy she saw was kinda like her in a way. He looked emo so she wouldn't have much of a problem, but she was still kinda shy. She quickly got up and switched to Klaus's seat. She say his head phones in and she tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, umm I haven't seen you around here are you new?" she smiled in hope of making a new friend.

Joel was surprised by Char's reaction to them sitting in the back. call him naive but he was used to people being nice to him and treating him with respect.

"I'm sorry we can go sit..." Nick slapped a hand to Joel's chest without opening his eyes or moving his head from the window.

"Nope we're staying right here," he said in a tone laced with finality. "Char don't you have some small children to frighten away or something?" he asked with a grin.

"I ate them all for breakfast," Char shot back, smirk brightening her features and eyes sparking. "But what about you? Don't you have some innocent young virgins to torture?"

There was a certain sense of familiarity to the conflict- after all, it was what Char and Nick normally did when subjected to each other's company. It was funny how Char had come to enoy these little...debates.

"Nick, don't goad her on," Joel whispered. "You should learn to get along with..."

"Hey babe, none of those 'virgins' ever complained about what I did to them through. Let me know if you ever care to try it," he said winking at her. Joel elbowed him roughly in the side and which only caused Nick to laugh.

Gracie smiled as Skai mouthed the words 'Good choice' to her. She took out one of the headphones as the bus began to fill up properly now. She was about to try and make conversation with Skai, but she moved to sit next to some boy that Gracie didn't know. Sighing, she leaned her head against the window again. She didn't have many people that wanted to talk to her. Taking out her composition book again, Gracie tried to work. She was very tempted to put her legs up on the empty seat next to her to stop one of the jerks coming to annoy her. Suddenly, the next part of her composition came into her head, and she began to write it down, smiling.

Klaus jumped as someone tapped his shoulder he pulled out one of his earphones and regarded the girl a little sceptically. He fluffed his hair with one hand almost absent mindedly, he was now listening to "never wanted to dance" by MSI and the music could be heard coming from the earphones dangling around his neck. He considered the question, his head still hurt and thinking was currently a bad thing but this question wasn't so difficult.

"No, I've been here a few years now," he said, his eyes catching hers as he shuffled against the window that he leant against. He'd seen her around once or twice, no big right? He sighed a little as he waited for her reply, he wasn't very talkative on bland subjects like this, subjects that wanted you to open up a little more about your past.

"Yeah, if I ever develop deep and horrible masochistic tendencies I'll let you know," Char said dryly, tilting her head and leaning closer to Nick. "Or maybe if I'm really, really drunk...But then I'd have to kill myself."

Settling back in her seat and grinning at the other boy, she toyed with the end of one of the dreadlocks.

"Yeah Char, don't pretend you don't dream about me at night." Lord knows I dream about you.... Nick avoided the dissapointed look Joel was giving him by settling back against the window. He closed his eyes and tried to fall back asleep.

Joel accidentally dropped his cd case and a few of them went spilling out. He quickly gathered them before they could get scratched when he saw Gracie writing furiously in her journal. He looked back at Nick for the usualy nod of encouragement, but this time he'd have to go without.

"Um, hey," he said lamely. He cleared his throat. "What are you writing?"

Gracie stopped writing as she heard a voice. She looked up and saw Joel, one of the footballers. Gracie didn't really like the 'jocks', but she had a soft spot for Joel.
"Hey," she answered, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "Oh, just some music buzzing around in my head."

"Wow that's really cool," Joel said turning in his seat more. He was surprised she was even talking to him. Gracie wasn't known for tolerating the jock crowd, not that he really fit in with them either... "You're in the school band right?"
