Rachel and Finn had gotten off their plane a few hours ago, and had since then settled into Rachel's dads' house since they still lived in Lima. They had decided to stay a couple weeks since there was currently no work to be done back in New York. And it'd be nice to just visit for a while. Lots of memories in Lima, Ohio there were.
Tonight was the reunion...yes they had come the day of the reunion, and there wasn't anything wrong with that. Actually now, the reunion was only in about fifteen minutes, and Rachel was getting ready with her precious little daughter Brooklyn sitting on the counter beside her. The four year old never wanted to leave her mother's side when they were together. But she'd gotten used to Rachel being gone a lot due to her preforming career, that required her gone most all of the day almost everyday. Still, when they were together, they were pretty inseparable. It was proving hard to keep the girl out off the make-up that was sitting on the counter, but Rachel was doing it. As she finished, she wondered how Brooklyn would react to being left home alone with her grandpas since it took her a while to get to like people. Maybe she should just bring her? No. She just needed to stay here...she wouldn't be gone too very long. "Okay, come on." Rachel told her daughter as she picked her up off the counter and carried her out to the living room.
Finn had been there talking to the two older men as he waited for Rachel to finish getting ready, and stood up slowly when she walked into the living room. "Ready?" he asked as he streached. Rachel gave a nod and handed Brooklyn to one of her dads, "If you have any problems, just call and we'll come home as soon as we can okay?" the brunette instructed. "I'm sure there won't be, but one of us will call if there is." he replied with a smile. "Okay, bye everyone." Rachel waved before Finn took her hand after giving a goodbye himself, and they left out the door.
Not five minutes and the two were stepping out of the rental car in the McKinley parking lot. "It feels kind of...weird coming back here. Doesn't it?" Rachel asked as they walked up towards the school where some other people were lingering. "I guess. I think it feels good to be back. I kind of miss high school." Finn replied looking down at the girl. "I don't miss it. It wasn't exactly the best experience for me." the brunette replied quickly as they stopped walking. The two looked around at everyone and Finn found a couple of people he remembered. Rachel hadn't yet since it didn't seem like anyone from the Glee club was here yet. But, she was content with just standing here listening to Finn talk until someone she knew showed up. As she waited she got to thinking and realized that maybe she should have brought her daughter, so she could meet her actual dad, and he could meet her...
