The Mouse Comes Outta It's Hole ( )

Postby xxMousie on Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:43 pm

*comes flying in on a magic cookie*

Hello fellow RPGateway members~!! My name's Mousie, and I hail from the small downunder country of Australia. I've been a rabid writer since I was very little - [hell, I think I remember making my name in Playdough when I was a little kid, and then making a up a little ditty for it] - and also a great fan of poetry and good lyrics. I'm one of those die hard writing critics; grammar, spelling, redundancies, Mary Sues, plot technicalities, etcetera, etcetera, all mean a lot to me. That, sure, in part could be because of years of torturous English teachers who drained every last little bit of faith out of me. Then, at the end of our primary school years together, I got a big fat gold star and a 'Keep it up, Chocolate Banana!* You're doing well!'

* name has been changed for privacy reasons

Things I don't like? Mary Sue. Gary Stu. Fancy pancy guesswork in a loose and elaborate adaptation of Twilight. Books that don't have the right footing in solid fact. RP posts that have been edited more than .. say ... ten time? Trust me, I had a partner in RP like this. It annoyed the hell outta me. I hate characters that keep flirting, but force your character to do all the work - what the hell is with that? If it was in real life, that guy who was chasing after the annoying yet sultry girl would most likely just give up, so why bother? And worse of all, I've said it before; Mary Sues.

Anyhow, moving on. I like all genres of roleplay and books. I must admit, I'm a sucker for romance, yes I am <3. Action genres are good too, as long as it's not all 'Bang! Pop! He died! Wow!' and so on. Fantasy + romance is the real kicker for me though. I also like a lot of contemporary novels, as long as it has a good plotline to tie it all together. Macabre stuff ... gets to me. I'm addicted to it. It's like a crack. Submissive/dominatrix relationships also intrigue me, and I have a fetish for sadists. Die hard gentlemen or next-door type characters intrigue me.

Mm. And to conclude, a list of random facts:

1. I <3 bunnies
2. it takes me a few moments to get a joke, but then I wack-out laugh
3. Spiders terrify me
4. As do nightmares of mouldy cheese
5. As does ANYTHING in regards to mouldy cheese
6. I've worn socks for gloves before
7. Give me bread and a toaster, i'll give you a burnt down house
8. I paint walls for fun.
9. One of my hobbies is 'scissoring'
10. I tend to be called 'the personification of a sugar rush'
11. Pretty things are good
12. Are as watermelons
13. And pretty people
14. I'm so asian, i've eaten chicken feet
15. The only asian thing i DON'T possess is a kerokero plushie of sorts
16. I can't speak japanese for nuts
17. I used to think wasabi was a face cream
18. Rulers + Mousie = deadly little midget asian chick running around and threatening to saw your legs off
20. Ditto for anything sharp
21. I missed the number 19
22. You just double-checked that
23. And there will be no 24 on this list, either

Thankyou, ladies and gents, and goodnight.

Lordie, I know so much about you all of a sudden xD Great intro, and welcome to RPGateway!

Into the romance, eh? BFFs, yay! Just remember that this is a kid-friendly site, so consider the depth of your romantic content before posting. (For example, I like some really descrptive stuff, so I take that to IMs.)

I suggest taking a look at the Rules and Manual threads in the Main Lobby and Welcome Desk. You may not be new to RP, but every website is a little different (such as the guidelines for posting and planning and the like.)

Hope to see you around!
I am available as an RP mentor should you seek to improve.
I draw things that you may like.
I like Ronald Jenkees and you might, too.

I require a certain level of writing skill in my stories. Don't be insulted, I just prefer to RP novel-level material. (I, I, I, me, me, me. I sound like such a jerk.)

Ahahaha XD. You sure you haven't been picking into that pink, padlocked diary of mine, have you? >_>. 'Tis in the Mouse's nature to reveal all.

YES, BFFS~! *throws a party with confetti and cheese* I know what you mean about the ... content XD. I hate stumbling onto roleplays that make you stumble back once more clutching at your face and saying something along the lines of 'Oh unholy world, they could have at least put a warning up', and wishing that you had a pair of sunglasses nearby. That, or suffer the consequences of having the words burnt into your unwitting, unwilling mind. But then there are the times when the romance just calls for certain things, y'know? In any case, I shall bear that in mind *salutes*

I'll have a look around to be sure; I know all too well there are many different types of admins. Hope to see you round, too!

My twisted mind can think of a masochistic definition and a prostitutional* definition. Hopefully it's neither?

*In the name of Village Alchemy, I, the Great Village Alchemist, hereby declare that "prostitutional" is a word!

Ahaha, thanks Myrin! XD And scissoring is basically making intricate designs via slashing and snipping at various mediums. It's part of my Art course O_o

So sort of like paper snowflakes or paperdoll chains? Only better? That's cool.
