Hey guys, as some of you know, I'm writing a 10-minute short film currently being produced by Tribeca Flashpoint Academy.



Green tells the story of high school senior Max Fenton, who must balance sudden stardom with his destructively dysfunctional family after his skin turns mysteriously green.

You can learn more from our Indiegogo page, which includes a full plot summary, and promo video goodness. Within the first few days of our campaign, we've raised over two-thousand dollars. The generosity is astonishing, and it's making me quite giddy, if I may say so.

Anyways! We're having regular production meetings, and I figured I'd post one or two stills from this fantastic moment where me, my Director (Matt, right) and my Producer (Eddie, left) really connected on an issue with the redrafting that was tying us up.



It was to the point where I had two laptops in front of me, headphones, my notebook, and the current build of the script.



I'm excited that our moment of breakthrough got on camera. You'll be able to see more in the behind-the-scenes section of the DVD.

Do you see it, though? Anyways, yeah.

Here's a fairly unglamorous pic that was just posted online of me, today. It's from a short film i worked on this summer, called "Grasp."



What camera is that, Sato? I'm pretty sure it was a Red One or a Red Scarlet.

I don't know what that means. It's a really stupidly nice camera.

Why do you look so sober? I was a stand-in for one of the actors while we set up that cramped little corner. I look so serious because I could see myself on the monitor and the Red cameras have such a professional digital look that I felt like I was an actress on a dark, gritty crime drama or something.

Why are you out of focus? Because I'm not the important person in the shot. The Man in Focus is the director of Grasp, Andy Fortenbacher.

So yeah.

This is what happens to my hair after a shower! :D
