"Seriously," Claire giggled at her friend. She must have worked hard at dance the previous night. "Sitting down?" Claire looked up at Tori. More people filed in through the doors. Three minutes left till the bell rings, Claire counted down in her head. She sighed, and leaned her head on Sophie's head. "Why does school start so early? We should still be sleeping," Claire complained. Her thoughts flickered back to her bed. If she was sleeping, she would have her shade pulled down, so she wouldn't be able to see the dreary rain falling from the sky. She would be curled up under the comforter, her pajamas still on. But instead, she sat her on the green bench, wearing a pair of tight jeans, a fitted shirt (which she would be wearing something very similar of while she slept), and converse, instead of her warm plaid pajama pants, her fitted tank top from the last time she went down to California, and warm, soft, fuzzy striped pink and white socks. She pushed her hair out of her eyes so she could see if anyone else walked by, but knew it was a mistake. Her hair fell immediately back into her eyes. She giggled. "My hair doesn't like me today. Yet again," She said to Sophie, sitting back up, but letting Sophie's head still rest on her shoulder.

"I love your hair." Sophie said smiling lifting her head up to meet Claire's gaze. "Actually a lot of people do." She winked and motioned towards the admiring boys walking by. "What's your guy's first class?" she asked giving Tori and Claire a questioning glance.

"Really? I didn't notice that it looked any different than usual..." Claire smiled shyly. She reached up instinctively to run her hands along her black curls. Her bangs fell in her eyes as she looked up to follow Sophie's gaze. There were, in fact, boys glancing over there way admiringly. "But I think they are looking at you and Tori, not me. I'm too plain, and short," Claire said, shooing off Sophie's comment. She didn't like her hair, which was one of the reasons she loved to put it up, besides her bangs and the one chunk on the other side of her face, so she could still hide her eyes. "I have chem first period. How bout you two?" Claire asked, changing the subject so Sophie and Tori wouldn't notice her bag about herself and try to compliment her anymore. She knew they had to force themselves to do it, because they were way prettier than her.

OoC: Yup, Claire doesn't like her hair, or her physical self. If you hadn't noticed, and if I hadn't put that in my intro. And just so ya know, she will do that quite a lot more.

Sophie rolled her eyes and said "World Studies, ugh." She liked World Studies but it wasn't any fun if some of her friends weren't in it with her. "Tori, please say you have World Studies!" she said gripping Tori's hand and giving her a desperate look.

"Please chem, please chem," Claire begged, looking up at Tori with a puppy-dog look on her pale features. She couldn't stand to have chem alone, again, this year. "Wait. What do you have 4th period? That's the period I have world studies," Claire said, turning to Sophie.

Sophie stared at Claire, fake anger on her face. "No World Studies!" she said, poking Claire's chest teasingly, a challenging look on her face. "Oh I have Chem." she said politely, then she went back to challenging Claire. "No Chem for Tori, she has it fourth period." Sophie said smiling. Her and Claire always did this, it was their game.

OOC: So sorry I haven't been on in forever! My internet has been really bad, plus it's getting close to the Holidays, so things are busy.

As Frett was surrounded by the group of people whom he hadn't even remembered the names of, he couldn't help but tune out their constant jabbering, and just pretend to listen to them as they went on and on. He really did hate being surrounded by people he didn't even know very well, who were obsessed with him for whatever reason. Although some of the girls were pretty cute, he had to admit..but much too preppy for his personal taste. He liked a kind of girl who didn't mind getting a little dirty, or riding four wheelers in the mud.

He tried to hold back a yawn as he stood encircled by his adoring fans, but soon found something of interest to him. Across the way he could see 3 girls sitting on one of the ugly, horribly painted green benches chattering away. His eyes fell on one in particular. She had fair tanned skin, glossy blonde hair, and had an interesting fashion sense...but her eyes are what really caught his attention. They were a beautiful dark sparkling blue..his favorite color, well besides black anyway. He wondered what her name was..

He was quickly snapped back to reality when a short, brown haired girl waved her hand in front of his face, or tried to at least--her hand only reached to his chin. He blinked a few times, trying to get the image of Sophie out of his head.
"Er, what were you saying?"

The short girl placed her hands on her hips and gave Frett a slightly annoyed look, but quickly shook off her annoyance and continued talking about how her and a few of the other kids were going to the beach this weekend, and wanted hom to come of course. He didn't know why they'd choose to go to the beach, it would probably rain this weekend. But he might go...it was something to do, anyway. His gaze drifted away from the girl again, and back to Sophie.
"Hey. Who's that?" He asked, pointing his thumb towards Sophie.

Briana, the girl who was desperately trying to keep his attention frowned when he interrupted her, but glanced in the direction that he was pointing in. Her frown deepened when she saw that it was Sophie he was asking about.
"Oh...That's Sophie White..." She answered bregrudgingly. "She's just a pretty face is all, nothing interesting about her." She said, "Her and her little possy are just annoying if you as ask me..."

But she may have been talking to a wall, because Frett blocked out every other word except for her name. He smiled, and whispered Sophie's name, as if to get the hang of it. Briana raised an eyebrow.
"What?" She questioned, having not heard what he said.

"Uh, I'll see you guys later, okay?" Frett smiled at them as he made his way towards Sophie, giving the group a small wave and leaving them in the weak rainfall. He saw a few other admirers passing by the trio of girls on the green bench, and felt the urge to growl, but of course contained himself. He finally was only a few feet away from the bench, and was about to say something--when he was interrupted by the annoying bell ringing through all the halls. He scowled at the obnoxious noise for ruining his perfect moment to talk to the beautiful girl..perhaps they would have a class together if he was lucky.

Sophie stared over as a huge group of boys and girls burst through the doors. One in particular caught her eyes, he was much taller than the others. He had chin length brownish black hair and tan skin, his eyes where a green color. She gasped, he looked unreal to her. Her hope's vanished as she saw the girls he was talking too, most of them where cheerleaders. But she couldn't help but stare, he was in better shape than most of the boys that go to their school. Then her eyes caught his and she quickly looked away pretending to listen to Claire and Tori's odd conversation. She looked up again, slightly, and saw him talking to the snotty brunette cheerleader. She rolled her eyes and turned her back to the group catching the words "rain" and "pajamas" from Claire and Tori's conversation. Then the bell rung and she got up giving Tori and Claire each a hug and disappearing to her locker, number thirteen.

Claire's head tilted slightly back, laughing. She loved being with her friends. When she tilted her head back to normal, her hair fell immediately back into her eyes, out of habit. She smiled, waving to Tori, and walked to her locker, number 23. She spun the dial with the flick of her wrist, and pulled it open, not straining even slightly. She sighed. It was the same locker she had the previous year, so she hadn't even bothered taking down any of her pictures. Most of them were her and her old boyfriend, Michael. Tears swelled in her eyes, but she blinked rapidly, getting them to go away. She tore them down, and ripped them up, stuffing them into her back jeans pocket. She looked at the few remaining pictures. There was several of her, Sophie, and Tori, and there was two of Coco. Claire slung her bag onto the hook resting on the wall of the locker, and grabbed a book out of it. She slammed the locker door shut, and walked off to Chem. She grabbed the photo scraps from her back pocket, and threw them down into a trash can as she walked past. It was obvious she was upset.

As Frett was still staring at Sophie, he ignored the fact that most of the girls in his little fan-group had followed him, probably hoping to get an answer about him coming to the beach this weekend. Suddenly Sophie looked up, her eyes immediantly landing on him. They made breif eye contact, and he swore he felt a jolt of electricity run it's course through his veins...Another strong jolt of energy burst throughout his body, almost making him drop to his knees this time. His eyes widened, and everything went back, except for the spot Sophie was still sitting. Glowing lights surrounded her, as if she were the center of the universe. His muscles flexed under his clothes, and felt himself grow instantly protective of this girl...what was happening? All he could think about now was keeping Sophie safe....and making her his. She had become his entire universe with just one glance.

It seemes like an eternity before Briana tapped him on the arm, bringing him out of his dream-like state. He blinked, and then Sophie looked away and got up to go to her locker. Frett had an impossibly strong impulse to follow her, but stayed where he stood--which took a lot of self control. His mind couldn't comprehend what had just taken place in only a matter of seconds. His eyebrows furrowed together, and he looked down at his hands. What had happened to him?...Everything was different. His whole life had just been flipped upside down by just one look from a girl at school.

He wanted to go outside and get some fresh air, and just try and think about what had just happened. Although in the back of his mind, he had an inkling of what it was..but didn't want to face it just yet. Maybe...it was a fluke, yeah, it could happen, right? He bit his lip, and was yet again ripped out of his thoughts--this time by his Math teacher.

"Get to class, all of you!" He demanded, shooing them away from the school entrance. "You have 30 seconds untill you're late!"

All the other kids scattered immediantly, shouting their goodbyes to their Quilette idol. It took Frett a few seconds to process what his teacher just said, and then it hit him. Less than 30 seconds and he was late! Ugh! And he tried so hard to NOT be late today! He cursed under his breath and took off down the hall to his First class. Chemestry. He kicked it into high gear when he knew no one else was in the hallway, and dived into his Chem class just as the late bell rang.

"SAFE!" The chemistry teacher yalled, as Frett barely made it on time.

The class burst out laughing, and Frett sighed with relief, Flashing them all a wide toothy smile. He looked to the teacher, who was holding a set of hand-outs for Frett. He took them, and the teacher put a hand on his shoulder.

"Okay everyone, I'm sure a lot of you already know him, but this is Frett Williams, from LaPush. He's joining our school this year, so treat him nicely." The teacher said, then pointed to the two person table next to Sophie's table. Frett frowned slightly, but quickly replaced it with a smile and took his seat. At least he was close to her, that was good. Some of his friends were in the class, and greeted him as he walked by. This was going t0 be an interesting school year, he just knew it.

Sophie giggled as she saw the tall boy fly into the room. The girl next to her, Hannah, a delicate strawberry blonde girl giggled too. Sophie peeked over to Hannah's binder and saw the name Frett with lots of hearts around it. She glanced up at Hannah's face and saw her staring at what Sophie guessed was Frett. Sophie rolled her eyes, obsession was overrated. "Okay everyone, I'm sure a lot of you already know him, but this is Frett Williams, from LaPush. He's joining our school this year, so treat him nicely." She heard Mr. Knox announce to class. He proved her assumption. "Isn't he amazing." Hannah whispered, still staring at Frett. Sophie rolled her eyes, this girl was a little creepy. She was about to agree but she realized that her reputation was that she was not the kind to crush. But she couldn't help but imagine herself with him, strong, hot, and humurous. Just what she looked for in a guy. "Uh yeah." she said blandly, opening her binder to get out a sheet of paper. She had read her schedule wrong and had told Claire that she had World Studies, when she actually had Chemistry. Then her curly haired gorgeous friend walked into the room. The teacher pointed to the desk in front of Sophie and Hannah, Claire had to sit next to Gabi, a tall but skinny and actually rather pretty red head. Sophie gave Claire an apologetic look when Claire noticed she was in there. She crumpled up the piece of paper, and waited for Claire to sit down. She looked over at Frett again and saw a spit wad fly into Hannah, gorgeous strawberry blonde curls. Sophie narrowed her eyes, she hated when people did that. She looked over at the direction that the spit wad had come from and saw a smiling Zach hi-five his friend Evan. She wanted so badly to get him back, but then she remembered that she had a straw in her binder. She chewed on it all the time in her boring classes. She took the straw out of her binder and tried to make it round again. Then she pulled a chunk from her ball of paper and chewed on it. She stuck the paper in the straw and aimed at Zach's forehead, hitting right where she aimed. He looked cross-eyed up at the spit wad then glared at her. Don't mess with her, Sophie mouthed glaring right back.

Claire peeked over her shoulder, giggling, then her face fell again. Why had Sophie said she had World Studies, if she really did have chem? Claire looked back forward, and started to doodle on her paper. She was good at chem, so why did she have to pay attention? Plus, today was the day that they just talked about the rest of the year, what they expected from them, what they should expect....etc. She grabbed a thick book laying on top of her pile, and turned to a page a hundred or so pages into the book. Her eyes scanned the page, searching for where she left off at. She smiled, reading a certain part, and there were places she giggled to herself. Suddenly, she felt something hit the back of her head. She turned around, an angry gleam filling her light blue eyes. She saw Zach and Evan laughing and hi-fiving eachother in the back row, and reached the back of her head, feeling a wet ball of paper. She felt anger flaring inside of her. She reached back, and grabbed the straw from Sophie's hand. "Thanks," She whispered, before Sophie could object. Claire ripped a small piece of paper out of her notebook, and wadded it up. She stuck it in her mouth, then popped it out a teensy bit later, the perfect amount for it. She stuck it into the straw perfectly, and blew into it, aiming right at Evan. She saw it hit him, exactly on the nose. She smiled, then turned and ripped out another small piece of paper. She wadded that up, and went through the same process as before. She stuck the spit ball into the straw, and shot that one at Zach. It landed right on his cheek, under his eye. He wiped it off, looking disgusted. "And you thought I was girly last year," Claire scoffed, laughing silently. She exchanged quiet hi-fives with Gabi, Hannah, and Sophie, giggling the whole time. That should teach them. Claire handed the straw back to Sophie. "Knock yourself out," Claire whispered, then turned back around to start reading again.

Sophie giggled with Claire and stuffed the straw back into her binder. Then a large spitwad hit her neck and she turned around and glared at Zach and Evan. She turned back around and picked up the crumpled piece of paper and chucked it at Zach hitting him square in the eye. He let out a shocked yell and held his eye. He glared at Sophie and mouthed, I'll see you after school. She rolled her eyes and turned around. She could take him easily.

When the bell rang, Claire closed her book silently, and grabbed her things. After she got up, she pushed in her chair, and walked over to Sophie. She giggled. "I think Zach likes you," Claire whispered. "Threats are the sincerest form of love," Claire joked, her head leaned over to be by Sophie's. She laughed at how stupid her words sounded. "What class?" Claire asked as they walked out of the Biology room, side by side with their arms linked. "I have study hall, in the library. I love study hall," Claire sighed, and her voice carried off as she stared dreamily into the distance. "We get to do whatever we want, as long as we keep it...not yelling," Claire giggled. "So, what class do you have?" Claire asked again.

Sophie rolled her eyes and said "Well Zach can't like me when he's dead." She laughed at the thought and then handed Claire her schedule. "I suck at reading these things. But I think I have Study Hall next to." As they looked at the schedule and walked a group of rough housing jocks throwing a football slammed into them sending them onto the ground. Sophie got up humilated and furious and pulled the guy up with one arm. "Watch where you are going pal!" she yelled in his face kicking his shin. She pulled Claire up and they left, "So what class do I have?" she asked smiling.

"Study hall! Yes!" Claire exclaimed happily, handing the schedule back to Sophie. "C'mon!" Claire exclaimed. "I need to go get a new book before study hall," Claire said, then held her novel up next to her head. "I'm getting bored with re-reading this book, again," Claire giggled, then dragged Sophie off to her locker.

"Yay!" Sophie exclaimed jumping up and down then quickly stopping. "I mean cool." she fixed herself right away. "Yeah I might as well get a new book to while we are there." she said cooly, she wasn't going to read it anyway.

"Don't you know that you don't have to pretend around me?" Claire asked, laughing. "It's not like I do," Claire added as they reached their lockers. She spun the dial quickly, and pulled her locker open, like usual. She set her book on the top shelf, and grabbed one out of her black bag. She set it on top of her folders, and smiled as she slammed the door back shut. "Ready?" Claire asked, turning to face Sophie at the locker next to hers.

"Yeah, but I have a rep." Sophie whispered to Claire. "Ready." she quickly stated linking arms with Claire. "But where is that cheaky monkey Tori?" she asked. She hadn't seen Tori since they where on the bench this morning.

"I have a rep too," Claire reminded her with a dazzling smile. "I'm okay, as long as Tori hasn't gone and almost killed herself again. I don't think there's that many things dangerous in English....." Claire's voice trailed off. It was bad luck that separated Claire and Sophie from Tori. Almost always they had at least one class separate from Tori, while Claire and Sophie stayed together, like twins connected at the hip. The corners of Claire's pale pink lips lifted in a small half-smile as she thought about all the things she and Sophe had done together. "So, have any plans for this weekend? I really want to head down to Seattle for some shopping. And I certainly have enough money," Claire said as they walked through the doors of the library. It was as if she was completely oblivious to everything around her.
