Name: Otto Pfeiffer
Age: 19 Years
Gender: Male
Rank: Schütze
History: Otto was born to a fairly average family in Bremen in the year 1921, and was raised as a normal child for a good few years, though, as was proper, he became a member of the Hitler-Jugend in 1935, his parents hoping to find some form of a future for him in the new Germany, the reborn Germany, his father an old patriot and landser from the first war and a veteran of the Freikorps. The training and activities enthralled him, the militaristic regimen was exciting, as anyone could expect, and it, combined with his father's talk when he was growing up, instilled a deep rooted respect for the military and anyone who served, but it also confused him, the anti-Semitic propaganda that they indoctrinated the many boys with finding itself hard to catch on with Otto, his uncle and aunt both being of Jewish origin, though he soon learned to forget such things, considering that drawing attention to them would only endanger the rest of his family.
Regardless, he went on to become a proud graduate of Paul Emil von Lettow-Vorbeck Gymnasium, but only just in time for the war. Enlisting, as was his duty, he went through basic as the Wehrmacht occupied the Sudetenland, and later Czechland proper, establishing Tiso's regime in Slovakia, and he finished just in time for the reclamation of the Corridor, and was assigned to the 6th Infanterie-Division, earning his Infantry Assault Badge as the Heer pressed into Poland. The campaign was quick, as many expected, though he watched with interest the Fall Weserubung campaign, as German forces pushed northward into Norway after Denmark folded. Soon enough he found himself on the Siegfried Line, though the Sitzkrieg was mostly over, Fall Grün soon began. Fighting in the battle of Sedan, and later the 6th pushed onward to Paris. With the surrender, Otto now finds himself, as well as the rest of the 6th, in preparation for Operation Sea Lion on the Cherbourg peninsula, though now, after two military campaigns, only one or two of his old friends still remain, all the others taken from him by Polish rifles, and many of the new ones struck down by the French.
Personality: Otto is a rather pleasant person, though he can seem rather withdrawn when not surrounded by pleasant company. He enjoys conversation, food and drink as much as any other, though war has sobered him, no longer does he laugh so freely, having lost many a friend. He prefers not to grow to attached to his fellow soldiers now, preferring to avoid the sadness that has made itself at home within him, not wanting to lose any friends to the British. In recent weeks, he's turned to drink to deal with his issues, though his upbringing has stuck with him through the whole while, always obeying his orders, maintaining a proper appearance, and always assisting wherever needed.
Appearance: Standing in at an even six feet, Otto is a fairly germanic individual, though not very aryan. With a bulky build, he's not one to take lightly, though his green eyes would likely say otherwise. Always with a military bearing about himself, he rarely slouches, and can hardly ever be found with his hands in his pockets, unless he's rooting around for something. Always clad in his uniform, he lacks the stylish M36 tunic's bottle green collar and shoulderboards, rather sporting the more humble M40.
