Eve smiled and walked with him. Truthfully, she liked having his arm around her, but it was sort of embarassing to think like that. Especially when Kaine had just broken up with her that morning... No! She needed to get that thought out of her mind. She still loved Kaine, and even though he loved someone else, she wasn't going to just give up on him... right? Still, she felt happy walking here with him. Normally, she would have just been home doing homework or something. However, as he joked about her face being bright red, she only blushed more, looking down. A giggle escaped her lips, which embarassed her even more, but you couldn't really tell. Her face was already burning hot. "I-I dunno, maybe I'm falling for the bad boy," She joked, looking up at him. "You seem to be mighty peachy, yourself." Her false accent was a little shaky, but that just made her laugh, again. It was strange, but she felt oddly bubbly... Maybe it was the snow.

Jake smiled and pretende to be worried, "Oh dear, if I get too many red spots I'll have to toss you in the snow!" he smiled sarcasticly, then went to a serious face, "Seriously" and then laughed, he hadnt had this much fun in a long time, his history could prove it, but no one dared ask him too much. he passed the gym and saw Ted and Rick playing basketball with a bunch of other guys, he kept walking with Eve towards the ice rink, which wasnt too far now.

Eve laughed. "Oh, no! Not that, anything but that!" She pretended to be frightened, but it didn't last long as she burst out into a fit of giggles. This was... fun. It was nice to let herself go, for once, and to not worry about anything. Usually, she would just stay home and study, fretting about the next test or trying to please her parents with good manners and grades. With Jake, she could just let herself go and be goofy. It had been a while since she'd done that... Kaine would never act like this with her, also liking to keep up an image. The most they would do is snuggle, kiss, or hold hands... but even then, they had to put on a show as the "good kids". Even when they were alone. Nobody in this school liked rough-housing, and if Eve were to be seen by anybody but Jake while acting like this, they would surely have a fit.

As they walked, Eve glanced up at a clock. There were only two minutes left until his tryout... They would make it to the ice rink in time, but would he have time to prepare? "I'm sorry," She said, rubbing the back of her head. "You probably should have come earlier, so that you could practice before the tryout... I didn't mean to distract you." She smiled, though, glad that they had gotten to spend some time together. Of course, there hadn't been any cake, but they were still having a great time, just being odd. She was actually having fun.

Jake supressed as much as he could, but he let out a laugh, unable to hold out, "Eve, hate to break it to you, but a try out is a type of practice, and I am never not warmed up for hockey, I was born in Canada, its in my blood". He smiled and turned into the hockey rink, hlding the door for Eve to go in, "Take a seat and tell David I'm here, I gotta get dressed".

Jake felt bad about leaving her, but he kind of had too, he ran down the side hall with his bag(Yes, he had a bag), he went into the locker room and put on his equipment, tied his skates and grabbed his stick, he started to check and make sure he had everything on right.

Eve stared at him, confused. “A... type of practice?” She asked. “But... I thought it was to determine if you would be on the team or not?” That didn't make any sense, to her. Every time she had tried out for a swim team, it was a race, a show of skill. It wasn't a laid-back practice like he was making out to be... It was a competition. It was a test to strive to be better than the rest, so that you could be on the team. Wasn't it? She had never played hockey before, so maybe it was different... Upon hearing his comment about Canada, she grinned. “Canada, eh?” She teased, joking about the accent up there. When they walked into the ice rink, Eve shivered. It was cold in there... Though that should be expected. As Jake spoke, she looked up at him and nodded. Oh, geez... David? She hardly remembered who he was... However, there were only a few people in there, so it wouldn't be hard to remember. Spotting the kid from math class, she remembered that he had been talking to Jake. This must be David, then. She remembered him from doing a sports broadcast on the morning announcements, one time. Smiling, timidly, she walked up to him. “Hey, um, you're David? Right?” She felt stupid for having to ask. “Um... Jake wanted me to tell you that he's here. He went to get dressed...”

(You've said that, like, three times already, and I honestly don't know what to do about it... I'm used to pretty much doing a small story with someone else within the RP, and people make little stories of their own, around that. I don't know what to do if people just die off, like this...)

(Well, I think we should just stop posting. If no one else comes back to post, just let it die, I guess. Kindaq sucks cuz' this was an interesting storyline... I would have liked to see a few feuds or fights between the Everwood and St. Joseph's kids. :/)

(ha, ha, ha(fake laugh by the way) Jake left lots of spots, and if she leads a romantic moment by falling on him, what is there that isnt fitting? Anyways, maybe one day we can resurect this thing, find new people, idk)

(Okay, so I'm horrible at thinking up romantic moments. XD I watch too much anime, give me a break! Obviously, none of that stuff works in real life. >w< Haha but I mean, none of the spots he left open felt like she would do something, like that. Eve is really shy, which means the GUY has to make the first move! X3 But anyway, yeah, I guess we'll just see what happens... But we should probably move to OOC or PM if we're gonna chat and stuff cuz' I think this is spam. XD)
