"-poor sweet innocent thing
dry your eyes and testify
You know you live to break me-" Deep sapphire eyes slowly slid open as the music of her alarm reached her ears, penetrating the soft, fuzzy barrier that was her blankets. "Mph.." she grunted as her slim hand reached out blindly from under the warm barrier, trying to hit the culprit of her waking. She had spent a good five minutes, blindly searching for the offending object before a soft growl escaped her as she threw her covers off, pushing herself up on her hands, her soft, short blond and brown hair sticking out every which way. She sat on her knees pulling up on the white strap of her pajama top as it slid off her shoulder, using her free hand to pick up her little black alarm, the digital numbers blinding her in the inky darkness of her room. "...Why won't you shut up?" She question the poor, innocent alarm sleepily. Her mind slowly processing what day it was. "...
Oh, bloody hell..." she grumbled realizing she must have slept through the first couple of times the alarm must have sounded. She quickly slid out of her white, black and royal blue, queen sized bed. Her covers falling in a heap on her deep mahogany cold, wood floor, as she quickly walked to her closet, pulling out her uniform before running to her bathroom, though unfortunately for our little use to be Brit, she accidentally begin to slide as her foot step on her black, fallen bed sheet, the slick, silk material sliding on the smooth wood floor, a small shriek escaping her as her arms hopelessly flailing trying to help her keep her balance, but it was all in vain as she toppled over, rolling head over heels before she slid into her bathroom. "..For the love of...Ow.." She grumbled slowly siting up, nursing the back of her head, the back of her head, trying her best to make sure the hadn't cracked her head open. ",,,Yeah it's officially a school day..." she muttered, finding herself soon laughing lightly at her own clumsiness. The moment she was off those mats she was became a klutz. So this had always been a similar pattern for her mornings when she rushed. Now that she was wide awake, thanks going to her little spill, she got up, rubbing her lower back once she was sure she wasn't bleeding, hanging her uniform on a towel rack before turning on her shower, soon getting undressed, glancing at the mirror behind her to see the mass of pink scare tissue. But quickly looking away before finishing getting undressed and jumping in the shower, the hot water soon doing her sore body some good..
It was probably almost twenty minutes latter before Lavender came out of her bath room, finishing putting on a bit of strawberry lip gloss, a finishing touch to her almost natural looking makeup. She quickly glanced to her clock, a soft smile on her lips as she realized she had enough time to grab some coffee before driving off to school.
Thank you God almighty. she thought, walking back to her closet grabbing her shoes and slipping them on, picking up Jea, her wolf Skelanimal, from her floor smiling almost childishly at it before tossing it on her bed. Grabbing her black and gray faux fur trim hooded jacket, and her school bag before making her way down stares. Once she reached the first floor of her fathers large house, before quickly turning for the kitchen. "Jack I-" But before the blue eyed beauty could finish her sentience she soon saw a insolated coffee cup being held out to her as Jack, the houses cook, smiled. "Need some coffee, please?" He finished as she took the cup from him. "Thanks, Jack. Seems your just getting sharper everyday old man." She said, her accent as light as ever as she took a sip of her chocolaty, sweet coffee. Just the way she liked her coffee. More chocolate then coffee. "Hey now miss. Last I checked I was just thirty five." "Thirty six dear, thirty six." She said as she turn away, waving over her shoulder at the blond cook. He had been working at her fathers house for quite a while now, and the young lady had took a friendly likings to him. He was a nice enough man, hard to not like actually. "Have a good day Miss, and try to have some fun." he called to her a simple Hm, was his only response, letting his smile drop as her heard the rattling of keys and the sound of the front door shutting behind her. "She's going to get an ulcer if she doesn't start relaxing a bit...It's not health for a girl to be that way." she muttered to himself, before returning to his work.
It wasn't long until Lavender pulled in to the schools parking lot, parking her little, deep, scarlet red Mercedes into a spot, quickly turning off the engine of her car, quickly sliding out of her car, ignoring the small cold flakes that stuck to her hair and jacket before dissolving as more took their place. She quietly glanced around the grounds catching a few unfamiliar faces. "Looks like the publics are here." she said motionlessly as she locked her car, lazily walking to and into the large building that was St Joseph academy. Quietly going to her locker and undoing her lock. Quickly sliding her bag into her locker as she slid off her jacket, hanging it nice and neatly in the pretty much empty locker. The only thing adorning it was a few pictures of her and her team, a group photo of a few of her friends, her text books, and a small mirror, hiding a picture behind it. It was nothing really, just an old family picture of Her, her father, her cousin and her uncle, all four covered in snow. It was the only picture she kept from when she was that age, she was nine and her younger cousin eight. She was on her knees on the ground padding down some snow on the base of the snow man while Jas was trying to put the head on top of the unbelievably large snow man while her uncle was helping her, and oddly her usually cold father sneaking up behind him, snow ball in hand and a devilish smirk on his lips. She closed her locker quickly, her sketch pad and book in hand as she smoothed down her skirt. She honestly didn't care too much about the Everwood kids coming to their school, but it didn't mean she liked it. It wasn't like they did anything to
deserve being here, it wasn't like they would
appreciate it.
Lets just hope they don't throw everything out of wack. she thought before making her way down the hall on her way to the auditorium, returning the good mornings and hi's she received from familiar faces that seemed to still litter the hall, her calm, almost sleepy smile on her face as she did so. Though as she walked a little aimlessly, she felt a bit of curiosity build up under her semingly calm demeanor. It would hurt anything if she decided to be nosey would it?
Eh, what's the harm? It's not like I'm going to act like an idiot. she thought glancing at a few of the other St Joseph's girls stared dumbfoundedly at the publics, while others looking disgusted. With that Lavender walked towards the auditorium, raising an eyebrow at the sight of so many unfamiliar faces, some looking not too pleased, while others looked excited and a few even indifferent. Well it was true. The Everwood kids did stand out quite easily. It wasn't often you see people dressed like them on campus. Actually it was a little rare to see a student of St Joseph's with facial piercing actually, so to her many of the publics looked a little...different to her.
