Description: Perfect family town. Neighbours friendly and welcoming. Always enjoying new people arriving in the area. People describe the town as perfect. 0 crime rate, 0 trouble. A lot of people have described it as run like a military base, but it's the perfect environment for a family to bring up their children safe and protected from the harsh realities of the world. The perfect community.

But... could it be a little too perfect? Yes. In fact, it is. Youngtown has a deep dark secret. The adults of Youngtown have a deep, dark secret. In the night, they go out and kidnap children from all over the state to add to their perfect families. The kids taken are between 5-15. They are taken and brainwashed into the community, brainwashed into being perfect. You don't act perfect, you get punished and the punishment isn't good in the slightest. The brainwashing starts in a particular way:

Brainwashing the new kids

1. The new person is not allowed out in public until they can be trusted.
2. The new person serves the others until it can be proved they are worthy of moving up the chain.
3. Punishment involves going into 'the cage' for a day with no contact from others.
4. The second stage involves the new kid having proved that they can follow orders.
5. Allowed out in public, but with their fellow siblings.
6. Final test to show their obediance to their new 'family'.

The kidnapped person's looks are changed, like hair and eye colour, and of course hairstyle so that outsiders don't recognise them. Personal details like name, age and birthday also get changed. This town is just one big conspiracy and the leaders of this 'cult' are Daphnine and Craig Sinders. There are four main households in Youngtown.





So, they are the four households and the people living their. Please reserve a spot for who you want to be before filling out a character sheet. Also, please read everything below to.

Character requirements:

• If you are an older sibling, you ARE brainwashed and between the age of 16 and 21.
• If you are a younger sibling, you ARE brainwashed to and between the age of 10 and 15.
• If you chose to be the new kid, you are not brainwashed at first and between the age of 5 and 15.
• ONE character is needed from EACH household that appear to be brainwashed, but aren't and trying to figure out how to escape and alert the authorities, but also trying to watch out for the new kids.

• Reserve your sport first, stating which character you want to be and if you are one of the kids 'appearing' to be brainwashed.
• Romances are allowed but keep it PG-13
• If I don't accept you, please no hurt feelings. I have my reasons which I will clearly state.
• I am the GM, what I says goes.
• No godmodding or controlling othe people's characters.
• This is not a master/slave roleplay so don't turn it into one.
• No arguing.
• OOC talk is to stay in this thread. Any questions post them here or PM me. Do not put them in the IC thread.
• Post at least once a day.
• NO one liners. Be literate and detailed. I'm expecting at least a couple of paragraphs for each post. Give every character something to work off of. This also means proper spelling and punctuation.
• If you need to disappear, drop out, or whatever, let us know.

I like this idea, I like it a lot!

[center]Name: Mr James Gemstone
Age: 45
Appearance: Mr. Gemstone is a tall, almost imposing man. His belly a little bloated from a lack of excercise but his arms, buffed like a wrestler's. He often wears semi-formal clothing but like a contradiction to his look, he hates to spend money. His hair is short and dark brown, a little messy but not too much. On his pale face is an equally brown beard with a few signs of aging in the form of Grey hairs. His eyes are a dark, deep blue that somehow seems cold and without emotion.

Which Character: "father", man of the household.
Brief Personality: Appears kind and caring, but can be emotionally distant, and estranged at times.
Biography: Mr. Gemstone has spent his whole life on the neighborhood, at least, as much as he can remember. He grew up, a smart boy, and easily fit into the 'perfect' lifestyle of the surrounding place. He was quick to befriend the families and knew that he would never want to leave. When two children from other houses vanished without a trace he was told they grew sick and died in the night, strangely, there was no funeral. He has almost completely forgotten that day, and frankly, no longer cares. When he first learned of the brainwashing, or 'teaching' as he prefers to call it, he wasn't at all suprised. He didn't bother phoning the authorities, and he simply continued as he was. To this day he has nightmares that resemble 'teaching', but he was sure he had never gone through it was born on the street. Though it haunts him. It truly, truly, haunts him.
Other: Seems to not care about the brainwashing, but secretly hates himself for not doing anything about it. He fights this with alcoholism.

I hope that's okay. Also, I looked at the population, isn't 4,000 a little much for one neighborhood? Doesn't that many usually cover an entire town? Wouldn't 60, or even 100, be a bit more realistic?

The old looks I just need hair, eyes, and style changes, but on the new looks a good description with stuff light height, weight etc would be good. Thanks.

Old Looks: curly brown hair that was short and framed her face, dark blue eyes.
New Looks: Her hair is now longer and goes down to her waist, but now they straighten it and died it jet black. She also has deep green forest eyes that seemed to never end they seem like a void into another world and her skin is creamy and soft. She also has naturally pink lips and is a normal height and slim with a curves. She is also 5’4 and weights 110lbs.

Brief Personality: She is secretive and doesn’t trust easily, has a nasty temper, mischievous and sneaky, but is shy around new people and known to be a complete klutz.
Biography: She was born into a middle class family, which lived in a one family house, but with a big yard. She was born to a mother who is a lawyer that over works herself, but enjoys her job a lot and a father who is a football coach. Also, she was the middle child with a younger brother named Seth who is five years old and an older sister named Stacy who is 18 years old. She lived with her older sister who mostly took care of her till she was ten because at the age of ten her little brother was born and her older sister had to take care of him from then on. She didn’t hate her brother for it she actually really like him and even sometimes help take care of him. Still her sister felt guilty for not paying much attention to her so she brought her a white male cat for she could have some company. She named the cat Lucas and took care of him while growing a special bond with him. The day she was kidnap it was at night and she was out with Lucas to a pet shop for she could get new toys and some new foods for him. On her walk home a car stopped and someone came out and put her forced her into the car. She dropped her things, but held onto Lucas for he could come with her no matter what was happening or were they went. Then later on that night she came to a so call perfect Neighborhood and now is stuck in a house with people she doesn’t know or like who call her Alice, but she ignores it and still causes lots of trouble and that forces her to be in the cage with Lucas a lot, because that cat can get mean when it gets over protective of her.
Other: While they kidnapped her she brought her white male cat named Lucas.
