((If you ever seen the tv show A Haunting imagine stuff like that combined with The Amityville Horror))

A family moves into an old Victorian style house in Maine and everything seems to go fine at first. The kids are enrolled at good schools and are making new friends but they start hearing weird noises(coming from their closets or outside their window)and when they try to tell their parents they don't believe them. As the days turn into weeks the noises go from being little scratches to being big noises like things falling over toys/china/glass/ect being thrown across the room. It gets worse when appritions begin showing up and voices start producing. Their mother notices a sudden change in her husband and when she or the kids try to talk to him he snaps at them and walks off. What's tearing the family a part? Could it be the house or something worse?

Personality: shy and quiet is very jumpy at times watches out for her younger sister.
Bio: Kyree is the middle child. She keeps to herself since her older brother and younger brother tease her because she scares easily. She really didn't want to move into the big house because she had a bad feeling from the start. Once she becomes friends with a boy at her school he begins telling her some of the stories that happened at her house which causes her to want to leave.

Personality: When she was alive she was always sweet and caring. She hates seeing people getting hurt and is trying to connect with the family to warn them about how evil the house is and to get out before it's too late. At one point she had a time of rebellion when she killed most of her family. Enjoys music and books, despite not being able to physically touch them.

How did you die?: She was always a frail and sickly child, she ended up getting scarlet fever at seventeen, so her demented older brother suffocated her with a pillow.

What room of the house do you usually haunt: Music room or library

Bio: Mary's parents had the house built in the late 1800's. They thought that their children would enjoy the place for the historical land it stood on. There third oldest, Mary, was a bright and happy girl until she got the small pox when she was eight years old. Even though she recovered after a long while, she was always sick and had to stay inside and was often in bed sleeping. For a while they thought she was getting better, when she was fifteen she was outside a lot more and playing with her siblings.
That was, until she was once again bed ridden with scarlet fever. Each day she grew weaker and weaker, her parents hated to watch her suffer, but couldn't do much about it. It was around Halloween when her oldest brother came in her room. She thought he was just there to visit her, but she tried to fight him off when he began to suffocate her with the pillow.
The doctors never found out the real cause for her death. For the next few years Mary haunted her family, angry that her life was taken from her. She ended up killing her parents, her oldest brother and left only one sibling alive, the remaining dead. She calmed down after that as a different family moved in.

Bio: She had three sisters.She was the quiet one and she loved to draw.She didn't get on with her sisters that well but she put up with them because they were her family.Her mother died giving birth to her and her father was violent and she often hid in her room from him.

Personality: She is outgoing for her age and seems to have a wandering mind. Sometimes she is found staring at nothing.
Bio: Tria is the youngest of the children. When they arrived at the new house the first thing she did was cry. When asked what was wrong she said she felt sorry for the people in the house. Her parents believed she was imagining things. Tria likes her sister the most even though she is unsure whether she wants Tria around her all the time. Tria is usually found in the library talking to nothing and is probably worrying her family. Tria also had a few unexplained bruises on her arms near her wrists.

Oldest Son

Name: Aaron
Age: 17
Gender: Male

Bio: Aaron is often outgoing and mischievous, although his sense of humor is slightly warped; at times, it’s difficult to tell whether you’re supposed to be laughing with him or screaming at him for being an inconsiderate jerk. He keeps his distance from people, despite his tendency to be social, and prefers dealing with his family more than those he calls his friends or classmates. He’s rarely malicious enough to physically hurt others and has never gotten angry enough at anyone to do the same, but has very little qualms about pissing others off.

Aaron’s philosophy is, simply, “Life happens.” He was an aspiring athlete, looking at sports scholarships with a high chance of being accepted for them, when his friend drove their car into a truck and Aaron barely escaped alive, while his best friend died. His cheer and mischief is partially a coping mechanism and partially pure, simple boredom, now that he’s stuck in a wheelchair; his philosophy developed after he had to deal with the consequences of not being allowed to return to sports and finding out that his best friend had tested positive for illicit drugs after the autopsy for the body had been performed. His distance from others was also formed after the accident.

Appearance: Aaron has black hair, cut close to his head, and brown eyes. He’s 6’0”, with a lithe body structure, and dimples when he smiled. His dress style is casual and casual-dressy. He doesn’t wear certain brands or follow certain trends, so long as what he’s wearing doesn’t make him look like an old “fart” and feels comfortable for anything. He wears a bracelet of jade colored beads that his best friend had given him on his left hand. One of his ears, his right, has been pierced, but other than that, he doesn’t have any other defining features.

Appearance: Dark crimson-red hair that falls in straight, choppy layers down to her shoulders at the longest, with bangs near her eyes and layers near her chin. Her skin is pale, her eyes are a bright blue-grey. She's short, stranding only about 5' 3", and she looks like she weighed about 114 pounds. Her body is slender and toned; her lifestyle led to this. She wears a well-fitting, black tank-top with a design resembling a rose across the front (looks like a rocker shirt), a pair of torn-up, well-fitting dark jeans, a studded black belt, several bracelets, and a cross around a silver chain on her neck. She also wears a pair of silver, old dog-tags, also around her neck, and for shoes she wears a pair of old combat boots.

Personality: She's difficult to understand. Sometimes it seems like she's trying hard to help the family, but others it seems like she doesn't really care. However, she never does anything to hurt them, so it can be assumed that she's good, more or less.

How did you die?: Kira was the victim of a homicide/rape incident. She was stabbed several times in her torso. If she lifts her shirt, you can see the scars.
What room of the house do you usually haunt: She keeps to the bedrooms for the most part, however she tends to drift around the entire house a lot.

Bio: Kira had a fairly good life. She had a stay-at-home mother, and her father was a soldier. She grew up very similar in personality to him; he raised her well, teaching her throughout her life many of the techniques needed for successful combat. This is partially why she's always been in such good shape; she had a rough-and-tumble lifestyle, even when she wasn't doing military-style training. She was also trained in how to use firearms and blades. In her eighteenth year, her house was broken into. The guy shot both of her parents and bolted. Kira had been just walking into the house, getting back from her friend's as the murderer was running. She saw the inside of the house and immediately took off after the guy, grabbing the M9 she kept in her room. She had full intention of killing him. However, once she found him, she proved to be unable; the gun jammed, and he easily wrestled it away from her. Then, holding his own gun to her head, he proceeded to sexually assault her, and as he was getting up to leave, he turned and shot her in the head. The reason she haunts this home is because her murder took place directly in front of it. She didn't want to leave the area; and besides, she could tell that other spirits were there as well.

I think I'm going to make the mom/dad and pre-made characters NPC's so we can control them but if someone wants full control of one of them they'll just have to post here.

So really all we need is the middle son and a couple of more spirits before I post the IC thread.

Personality: Kelly is an evil spirit. She loves tricking the family and pushing them downstairs, causing them to trip and dropping things on them. She loves scaring anyone.
How did you die?: She was found on the side of a near by road after being beat to death by her father.
What room of the house do you usually haunt: Everywhere other than the master bedroom where her father used to sleep.
Bio: Kelly lived in this house years ago with her alcoholic parents. Her father was horrible to her and her mother. Kelly's mother protected her from her father for as long as she could but was eventually beat to death by him. Two weeks later Kelly was also killed after being thrown down the stairs by her father's drunk friend.

Personality: Vladimir is an evil spirit, corrupted and morphed. He is very demonic trying to hurt the family every which way. If it involved using any force around, he will do it.
How did you die?: Vladimir was killed by the cops and they decided to hide his body in the attic where soon, people found his decomposing body.
What room of the house do you usually haunt: The attic and every other room.
Bio:Vladimir was a killer. He loved to violate the women and take advantage of them then brutally kill them. He did this to many and became a famous serial killer leaving behind a piece of leather tied around the neck of his victims as his trade mark. No one was able to track him down.

Name: Thomas "the decayed" Tepes
Age: 25(age of death)
Gender: Male
Personality:Thomas Tepes is horrendously malevolent. Trapped in the crime which caused his death Thomas takes vengeance upon all who he can. His vengeance takes the form of betrayal. His method is to act benevolent and befriend anyone he can, then wait till the opportune moment to strike a them. Be the strike against their body, their heart of their sanity.
How did you die?: Thomas was buried alive with an air hole and an iv drip tube. These were used to keep him alive while his body was slowly devoured by insects and bacteria.
What room of the house do you usually haunt: Thomas haunts the front porch/yard. His body is directly under the front steps.
Bio: Thomas was the demolitions expert for a small construction firm. Just after his 25th birthday, in his third year with the firm, Thomas discovered that his boss was ordering substandard building materials. Thomas turned in his boss however his boss was able to bribe his way into the clear. Thomas' boss then came looking for him. Thomas hid in a set of tunnels under the mansion (which he had helped construct) which he made himself with his demolitions equipment. He would have been able to stay inconspicuous indefinitely except that his closest friend sold him out. His boss then took revenge by having him interred under the steps of the mansion and keeping him alive long enough to rot alive.
Note: While Thomas looks absolutely horrifying due to the manner of his death he usually appears as if wearing a large black robe which hides the decay. (hard to get someone to trust you when you are rotted corpse)

Age: Ageless.
Gender: Male
Personality: (Can I be Neutral?)
How did you die?: Killed his entire family but his wife, then set fire to the house, with him still inside, because of the grief of what he did.
What room of the house do you usually haunt: The kitchen
Bio: A normal man before his 'incident,' he always had some anger issues but never bothered to address them. It would worry his family too much. Moderate depression and a mood swing that will launch any former attitude out the window, Jack had some real problems, but loved his family and his friends endlessly.
