"Thank you!" Sophia flashed a wide smile, then turned when she heard a horses terrified whinny. She saw a knight, which she presumed to be the churches from it's colors, riding towards them. "He may be able to help." she pointed to the fast riding knight. But as she was about to wave her arms, so the knight would see them better, two very large orcs emerged from the forest. She saw them point to their group and give a small command. They started running towards them also, rather fast for their size. Sophia let out a small scream grabbed her sister's hand and took off sprinting to the boat. The orcs where coming, and fast. As she and her sister ran they kicked up sand, Sophia's chest hurt slightly and her cheek stung but that didn't matter. As she neared the boat, she saw the stairs to get up to the top of the boat had been stored in the siding too far away to just reach up and grab it. She took a couple steps back and then leapt up grabbing the stairs and trying to push the stairs down. But they had been locked up, she rolled her eyes and heaved herself up. She unlatched the stairs and pushed it down so her sister could get on. "Hurry!" she motioned to her sister to come. "Please be okay." she murmured, she looked out to the beach and saw the orcs very near the knight and the two other men.

As the orcs (OOC: orcs? haha! BIC: ) approached, Tempest thought quickly.
"We cannot let them live. We will fight to the death to defend these girls. If the orcs (lol) survive, they will no doubt report to the witch. For all of our sakes, we must kill them."
Tempest looked at the knight from the church.
"You must help us! They are too large for the two of us alone!"

Just then, an orc (lol) jumped at Tempest. Tempest threw up his sword in defense, and waited for the heat of the battle.

Only a fool defends someone else with only his life. Whether the fool is clever, or simply foolish, is up to consequence, context and luck. Now, I wonder what this man has done by calling out to that rider...

"Hold on, and relax. You make this sound like there's twenty of them." Kasper grinned, leveling his enchanted flintlock in the general direction of the nearest orc's head. There wasn't much thought or focus put into the action, simply an instinctive positioning of his right arm and the overbearing intent to kill. He simply pulled the trigger and waited to see the results. As the shot penetrated the creature's rudimentary brain and threw it backwards, flaying as it hit the ground, Kasper simply frowned. "Geez... I would have thought that would be more in a warband." He said dispassionately, tucking his pistol away.

"Oh, you're still fighting that one, aren't you?"

Tempest sliced the orc. (lol)
"Okay, so it wasn't that bad, but I must be honest, it's been a while since I've fought so close.
I'm... a bit edgy since.... Well, nevermind that. Thing is, I'm usually more stealthy. I get them from a distance. I haven't had to fight up close in probably 4 months."

Temepst took a stride back and let the orc (lol) fall.

"Alright girls, let's go."
He looked at the knight.
"I see you're from the church. Therefore, naturally, I don't trust you. Please, do not follow us.
This being said, I know you will follow in some other boat. Feel free to watch and help when we hit real danger."

Tempest walked to the boat, hopped in, and sat next to Isabelle. He wouldn't let one thing happen to this lovely princess.

"Well, those orcs went down pretty quick," Kyvon McFashion astutely deduced. "Almost as fast," he continued, with a magnificently sexy twinkle in his eye, "as I'd go down on you, ladies."

Kyvon McFashion then strode to the boat, exuding buckets of sex appeal, and stepped into the bow, leaning on his cane and staring into the distance as the wind blew his furs about his body. Really, really sexily.

Sophia watched as the orc's fell easily. "Thank the lord." she murmured sighing in relief and going down to the lower deck to reward the men. She found two loaves of bread, but it had delicious fruit in it and some of the best bread in the land. She smiled sneaking a tiny chunk for herself and sprinting back up the stairs. She held out the bread and awaited for them to join her and her sister.

Tempest took a piece of the bread, and ate it. It felt so good as it slid down his throat. It had been days since he had real food.
He looked at Isabelle. He really worried about her. She had been dazed out for so long now. Even the orcs hadn't stirred her thought. It was starting to trouble him and he was very concerned, tho he would never admit it.

Tempest realized at this point that he was experiencing a new feeling. It wasn't love, but it was something.... new... something... strange... something...... he didn't know. And that bugged him just a little bit.
He had a crush.

Sophia sighed as Tempest took some of the bread. "We can't go until Kasper comes." she said. None of them knew how to work a ship and they would most likely wreck the thing. She sat next to her sister and rested her head on her shoulder, sighing deeply. "I hope mom and dad are ok." she murmured, letting out a large yawn.

"I never left. My thanks for the meal, madam." Kasper said to Sophia, chuckling half-heartedly, as he reached over her to grab a piece of bread. It seemed rather good at the moment, and the fact that his world still tasted of sea salt and sand probably made it look far more delicious than anything he had ever eaten. He urged his hand back to his face, so that he could take a bite, only to feel very silly when he tapped his ivory mask with the food.

"Ah, geez. How embarrassing."He chuckled and removing the mask, placed a small piece of the bread in his mouth and chewed gently, hoping to coat the entirety of his mouth with something that wasn't the ocean.

"Mmm!" He mumbled happily, as it turned out to be excellent.

Sophia smiled shyly. She felt rather awkward around Kasper, she never felt awkward. "Well can we get started?" she asked sitting up again and looking around. She guessed that the witch would find them soon and she wanted to go.
